Apps load instantaneously, with the 8gb ram the phone flies. The battery, classically iPhone, you charge it at night, with heavy use it will charge during the day as well. The speakers also impressed me with how good they are. Now, if someone has the 11, as I did, with a good battery, it's better not to upgrade. The differences are small for the average user of social media, camera, light gaming. And the iOS is much more "settled" on the 11, 0 bugs. Otherwise, wait until spring when Apple intelligence will come and generally until iOS "settles." For me, at the same price, it was worth much more than the 15 plus, but if it were convenient for me, I would go straight to the 15 pro. Conclusion: whoever looks to find flaws will find them (60hz screen, etc.), but generally a very powerful device that will last for years. Again, if 120hz is not an issue for you, I highly recommend it. Less

It is slow loading lots of things, and frequently switches to 3G when it should be on 4 or 5G (my old phone on the same network didn't have this problem). There are things that my old SE 2020 phone could do smoothly that this can't. Yes, the screen is lovely; yes, the camera is great; yes, the sound quality is much better - but until the bugs are sorted out (and I'm sure they will be) this is disappointing for the price.

I was using an iPhone 7 prior to this and it’s light years away for sure! The battery life is great and I only need to charge once a day so far. The design is sleek just like their other models and is offered in different colours. I chose teal. The only thing this doesn’t come with is the charger adapter . You will need to purchase it separately . The value is great considering how fast it performs and the durable material it’s made from. Will definitely get the pro max next time for larger screen and more storage space.

It doesn’t make any sense that simply plugging my adaptor into the charge/headphone port would mute the receiver, but that’s exactly what is happening.Before this starts sounding too negative, I like the fact that my new phone connects to the Bluetooth in my car much more quickly than it did on my old phone. It also allows me to quickly switch between app screens without having to swipe up & right. Additionally, I’m curious about the iMovie app that came preinstalled, as I’ve considered recording video for my YouTube channel. I also enjoy the display of shortcuts when swiping down from the top right corner. It makes everything more convenient and easier to access as it has three display screens. One for the usual shortcuts, one for music and one for more specific shortcuts that can also be accessed from the first display. Of course the camera is much better than the XR, I thought I wouldn’t like the two cameras instead of the one camera or three but it looks better in person. I was also surprised to find out about the matte back of the phone. I think it’s plastic but I actually really like it as it won’t crack requiring less repairs. I also enjoy that the ringer on/off switch was replaced with a button. Instead of having to check the side of your phone you can just press the button to see if it is on/off on your screen and also has a shortcut with the rest of the shortcuts. One other feature I think is a great improvement is when you receive a alarm on your phone or a call it doesn’t take up the whole screen when you are watching a video or playing a game. It shows up in the top left corner where you can accept or turn off without disrupting your video or game. Overall, I think the iPhone 16 is good and has some improvements to the iPhone XR however there are some inconveniences depending on your needs. I would rate it a 7/10 as it is a good phone but definitely some improvements that can be made to make it better :) Less

For this price not getting high refresh is a bummer, but you won’t notice it day to day. Call quality is better than old phone which is a nice surprise. Dynamic Island often tries to make itself useful. I really like this phone, partly for the IOS stuff but that’s not specific to this phone.

So as I prefer iPhones to Android I hoped the basic iPhone 16 would be better than last years models and I'm pleased to say it is. The phone won't charge up fast when you need it, unless you disable the "save the planet low carbon footprint" mode! And you cannot save pictures to a removable memory card. If the phone goes kaput, your pics are GONE.

The only downside for me is that the screen fills the entire space, leaving nowhere for my thumb to rest without affecting the screen display. I didn’t have the time in my life to play around with this phone in the first 30 days so I’m stuck. It’s a piece of junk. My iPhone 12 was 1000 times better than this with zero problems.. the camera button is meaningless and it’s caused a lot of case makers to make bad cases to try to accommodate it.
