Apps load instantaneously, with the 8gb ram the phone flies. The battery, classically iPhone, you charge it at night, with heavy use it will charge during the day as well. The speakers also impressed me with how good they are. Now, if someone has the 11, as I did, with a good battery, it's better not to upgrade. The differences are small for the average user of social media, camera, light gaming. And the iOS is much more "settled" on the 11, 0 bugs. Otherwise, wait until spring when Apple intelligence will come and generally until iOS "settles." For me, at the same price, it was worth much more than the 15 plus, but if it were convenient for me, I would go straight to the 15 pro. Conclusion: whoever looks to find flaws will find them (60hz screen, etc.), but generally a very powerful device that will last for years. Again, if 120hz is not an issue for you, I highly recommend it. Less

It is slow loading lots of things, and frequently switches to 3G when it should be on 4 or 5G (my old phone on the same network didn't have this problem). There are things that my old SE 2020 phone could do smoothly that this can't. Yes, the screen is lovely; yes, the camera is great; yes, the sound quality is much better - but until the bugs are sorted out (and I'm sure they will be) this is disappointing for the price.

Camera is great, but in anything but bright conditions it tends to put a yellow tint on everything. The phone is very fast, and has surprisingly good battery life for a phone this size but don’t expect 2 days. Screen is excellent. For this price not getting high refresh is a bummer, but you won’t notice it day to day. Call quality is better than old phone which is a nice surprise. Dynamic Island often tries to make itself useful. I really like this phone, partly for the IOS stuff but that’s not specific to this phone.

The photos that I had taken with that were dreadful, especially low light ones. The software just pixelated and made so many of them grainy. I was even getting blurred photos that I had never experienced with my iphone11. I was able to take that phone back as I only had it for one week when I discovered those problems. So as I prefer iPhones to Android I hoped the basic iPhone 16 would be better than last years models and I'm pleased to say it is. I am a happy Apple customer again and thanks to John Lewis for easy ordering and speedy delivery.

I refused to upgrade until another one came out, but I ran out of space to update with only 64GB on my phone. I’m happy to say so far I really like the iPhone 16. It’s definitely larger and heavier. The photo quality is pretty amazing. I have no complaints. I kept my current data/phone plan so that was a big plus. Trade in and transfer of phone was super easy. Happy to stay with Verizon.
