These seem to hold a charge forever too! I go to the gym for a little over an hour, and after a week of straight use they still say "fully charged" when I turn them on the next time. So far these are great. My ONLY gripe is that the charging port cover is slightly wonky. I had to mess with it to get it to close properly after the first time I opened it up, but finally got it to stay shut. Not sure if it's just mine or if it's a design flaw, but it's a small enough issue that it doesn't impact regular use for me. Just a side thought! These are great earbuds, and I'm not afraid to lose one of them if they fall out!! Less

The cord makes it much harder to lose your earbuds and impossible to lose just one (I know the struggle is real for some of you). It's also nice to be able to let them drape around my neck and then pop them right back into my ears when I'm switching between tasks. I also wear them to bed, so I can fall asleep to an audiobook without bothering my spouse, and tucking one bud into my shirt while the other is in my ear works great! When I roll over, it's a breeze to switch buds, and they never get lost in the dark.5) No magnet. I had a different version of Sony corded earbuds before I got these, and the older ones had magnetized buds, which decreased cord tangle. I miss that feature.6) Lifespan seems a bit low @ just a smidge over 8 months, but I do use them a LOT. The price is lower now than when I bought my first pair, so for $20, I did buy the same model again. At that price point, I don't think they can be beat.7) I mostly listen to audiobooks and podcasts, and the sound quality is perfectly fine. Less

Available in four different colour ways of white, black, taupe or a blue that I would say is more aqua .Being Bluetooth® there is no overlong cord to connect your listening device of choice so these are not going to get caught or snag on anything. When in the gym these do not move wether you are on a treadmill, rowing machine or doing strap work, fixed or free weights or any other apparatus. what I particularly like is that if spoken to, and a lot of people do that in a gym environment, then simply pull them and leave them to hang them loosely around your neck leaving you hands free before popping them back in and going back to where you were with the buttons from the device which hangs in front of your left shoulder. These buttons provide the Bluetooth® connection, on/off, pause, skip, stop and volume, all are easy to use without having to look at them they are also voice assistant compatible. With built in microphone you’ve got your hands free phone calls again all operated from the buttons on the device.Rated at IPX4 ensures these are splash and sweat proof and this works incredibly well. Having used these in the gym for an hour and a half three times a week for just over a month they have not failed me. They will get wet and sweaty in a gym environment however my music has never started to crackle or distort neither has a phone call I have never had to take my buds out and shake them dry or blow them dry or wipe them in my towel to get them back to normality. I’m not in the slightest bit disappointed with the performance of the WI-C100 I’ve similarly worn them in a deluge of rain and they operated flawlessly whereas I was soaked through. The back of the box explains clearly what everything doe. They are genuinely compatible with any electronic device by any manufactures and using ‘Fast Pair’ the WI-C100 pair flawlessly with any of these devices in seconds and that includes televisions in addition ‘Swift Pair’ connects to your computer. If you put these down and think where are they? They are easily locatable by phoning them or looking where they are on your smartphone.Ok you want to know about the sound, firstly you have the ‘Sony 360 Spatial sound Personaliser’. This is a phone app that completely personalises the buds to you, the shape of your ears is analysed by taking an image of your ear before creating a spacial sound field suitable to you perfect if you own a Sony BRAVIA XR TV. On my TV, android device or computer the sound is so true to the artist and well balanced. My music tastes are eclectic I’ve sampled rock, metal, grunge, blues, classical and acoustic the sound is second to none all helped by the equaliser which is on your phone app.Charing is by by USB in 10 minutes you have an hours use while a full charge gives you 25 hrs.To me there is nothing Sony have not thought about with these buds and for the price these are an unbelievable bargain, there is nothing not to like, I don’t go anywhere without them. Note that the battery life is reduced when sound enhancements are enabled, but I only charge them once a week at most.No charging cable provided but it is USB-C so most people should already have a range of cables at home. There are 3 sizes of tips to fit different ear sizes, but the medium size gave a nice secure fit and so far, haven't worked free. They are very light, so I hardly ever notice wearing them. When powering up you get an audio notification of the amount of battery charge and whether it has paired which I find handy to ensure it has connected OK.The sound quality is very good across a wide range of music and podcasts with the volume control, On / Off buttons on the left-side pod and easy to access with the sealed buttons preventing moisture getting in. I like the fact that the left and right pods are marked with red for the right (as I can't easily read the "R") and grey for the left, such a simple idea but effective.I've used these whilst cycling, working from home, painting the fence and cutting the lawn without any issues but did manage to get fence paint over most of them, which just wiped off without any issues.I've paired to an ipod, android phone, laptop and desktop without any issues and the office teams and mobile calls are clear with no audio issues. The blue-tooth range appears to be very good at home I can leave my phone in the office and wander around the house without any dropout. My only (small) niggle is that the plastic pod can move backwards over my shoulder with more aggressive activity so occasionally needs to be pulled back to keep it nicely balanced.I don't use them at high volume and it is advisable not to use any headphones at high volume, but if you push them to the limit there is noticeable distortion - and why would you want to listen at 100% anyway. I'm really impressed with the sound quality which comes across as quite neutral and detailed. I found the sound quality balance enough that I did not feel the need to use the equaliser in the headphone app.The main issue I had with the WI-C100 was that slid off my neck when it was not being used (i.e. the earphones not in my ear). My work around for this was to tuck the dongle looking parts (I guess they are the electronics and battery) under the neck of my t-shirt. This kept the unit stable even when the earbud were just hanging downwards. While the earbuds were in my ears there was no issue. There was no power cable supplied with the unit which I did not mind but I wish the WI-C100 was supplied with a small pouch for when the unit is not in use.Overall I cannot fault the earphones. They are great for everyday use, they sound great, and the battery lasts long enough that I am yet to be caught out with loosing power while out and about. Less

detailedReviews 11: content: I have very small ears, so every earphones I've had keep slipping out because they are too heavy. I've tried countless. This one finally is the gold star for me, because the weighted parts rest on your shoulder area, and the cord to the earbud is long enough that it doesn't pull. It's also evenly weighted on both sides, so both sides stay in!The weighted parts are light, but heavy enough that they feel secure that they won't fly off when you turn your head, and dont fling to behind your back, which would pull them out of my ears as the weight isn't being supported.Anyone with small ears, definitely give these a go.

I found the controls simple and intuitive to use and after charging the headphones, I paired them with my phone (Android), laptop (Windows 11) and Amazon Echo Dot (smart speaker); everything worked first time. I found the sound quality to be excellent 'out of the box' but you can download the Sony headphone app and use the equalizer to adjust the sound to your personal preference. I changed the ear bud tips to the larger size and found them to be very comfortable and secure in the ears. The headphones take around 3 hours to charge fully from completely empty and on the first couple of try-outs I got around 23 hours of playback each time - very close to the 25 hours specified. I had no problem withe range around the house and didn't experience any drop-outs. Overall I feel that you are getting a high quality product at a modest price point - they are very good value. If I had any suggestions for improvements (please take note Sony) it would be the following:1. Make some simple corrections to the labelling / instructions on the product box2. Include two small cable clips for securing the phones (to clothing) when wearing3. Improve the look and feel of the headphones - the wires attaching the battery and control pods to the ear buds look rather unsubstantial - I feel the overall durability of the headphones could be improved without a significant weight / cost increase. All considered, having had them for about a month, I would definitely buy them again - Sony got all the important stuff right with these. The headphones have some charge in them when first unpacked but there is no USB Type C cable included in the box to recharge them. Admittedly this fact is stated on the side of the box but in a very small font. Is this the modern form of ‘batteries not included’ as several manufacturers do not provide charging cables? It is a case of purchasing a cable at the point of sale or searching through the plethora of cables provided with other devices you may own. A nice touch is that when the headphones are switched on there is an audio message stating that ‘power is on’ and a statement of battery charge state. The instructions provided in the box are as good as useless. The detail may be there but it requires a magnifying glass to read it. A pictorial quick start guide would be useful in these circumstances.Fortunately, Sony redeem themselves by the QR codes on the box. This code accesses the 115-page instruction manual. This can be downloaded, converted to a PDF and then stored digitally. This provides methods of pairing the headphones to a multitude of different devices besides iPhones and iPads. There is a wealth of information in this manual and to those who are prepared to wade through it will enhance their use of the headphones. Most people will never bother with instruction manuals but will achieve more than adequate performance from these headphones. The lack of a charging cable made me think of giving these headphones 4/5 but it would be churlish of me not to give 5/5 as they give a superb performance in their price bracket.Pros:Lightweight in-ear headphonesFit snuggly into the earEasy Bluetooth pairingEasily accessible controlsGood audio response Cons:No charging cableNo Quick Start instructions Less

The sound is perfectly acceptable - not as big or full as my studio headphones obviously but perfectly fine.I had a set of these that were unfortunately lost. I got a set from Cex to replace them but they were unfortunately faulty. What I especially love about these headphones are the capabilities when connected with the Sony Headphones app. I even used the 360 Reality Audio feature using the relevant apps and compatible platforms and available streaming selections. Therefore the capabilities of these headphones are pretty expensive for being a fairly inexpensive device.I had a prior model that had magnets to connect the earpieces when not in use but that is not a negative enough to remove a star.

I used them two weeks and then popped into Best Buy for a decent pair. I keep these in my car for when I'm running errands or walking shelter dogs. They are GREAT. The sound is good but most importantly, they hold a charge for a really long time. I like that when I turn them on, they tell me how much charge is left. detailedReviews 31: content: I absolutely love these Sony Bluetooth headphones! I've always trusted the Sony brand, pretty much my whole life. These are exactly as described and the battery life seems to last way longer than 25 hours. My last pair, cheaper brand for work, said they lasted 8 hours and they failed to even last that long. With this purchase my main focus was on brand and battery life. I have had my black pair of WI-C100 for over a year now and they still worked until my dog chewed them and now only one side works lol. I purchased a new blue pair last week and they are just as great. I would definitely recommend these to anyone that wants reliable bluetooth headphones and now they're only $23 so you can't beat that. I'm going to buy some extra's for future gifts at that price.

detailedReviews 45: content: they work well and are Easy to set up. some said that there not loud enough, but it's not the earphones' fault, if you are listening to something that is not good quality sound then yes it's not loud. I bought these for my Samsung Smart TV and they work great. someone also said that there is no instruction on how to set up, but it's very easy to set, and one you set them up the Minute you turn them on they connect fast and you can pause whatever you are watching with the middle button. I think for the price I paid for these you cannot go wrong. Once fully charged you can use these all day nonstop for over 17 Hours. I went ahead and ordered one for my Room TV.

I also like that if I take them out of my ears it just nicely hangs from my neck ready to be put back as needed. Charging is easy with a USB-C connection. No case needed. Great price to value ratio.

A selection of silicon tips as you’d expect, with good fit from the large which is normal for me.I’ve already got the Sony headphone app and I like it’s interface which is needed to fully control the headphones. You can personalise the sound as you see fit. There is also the 360 Reality Audio option. I use this for my Sony over ears already. Some tracks are night and day different, and whether it “works” for you is personal but these give you the option to enjoy it if you so wish. I’d say it’s worth exploring. My screenshot shows no 360 app as I’m changing music service. My first outing was an audio book, then music, both 360 reality and not. The “passive” n/c (snug ear bud fit) worked pretty well for me. The sound is good, setting up for speech on the app for podcasts/books helps. I switched off the equaliser for music as I prefer a balanced sound.Phone call quality is good with the mic being near mouth level. The pod set up is easier vs. controls on a bud like true wireless. However, the cord concept doesn’t suit most of my uses. I found the cord transmitted noise into the buds unless you’re sitting still. The only time that I really do is at work, so that’s where they fit in my headphone world. The battery life is good and is quick to charge using usb c, same as my laptop. Call quality is also good and they link quickly and well to the both laptops. Other benefits of “wired” is not dropping a single bud that then disappears, muting call or music as you scrabble for it.In summary, good for the money as all my other Bluetooth buds are at least 3x the price but aren’t 3x sound quality. Stacks of features via app and 360 reality, if you prefer corded wireless over true then these should be on your list. Less

My only small complaint is the small LED that indicates the device is on is under the button to turn the device on and off. It is difficult to see as your finger blocks the light. This isn't a problem for me but my mum who is not very technical find it hard to see if she had successfully turned the device on or off.

The sound was great (I use mine for audio books, and podcasts) The headphones came already 50% charged, I like that they tell me how full the battery life is each time I turned them on. And the sound quality again, was fine. However, they kept slipping off my neck. There is no clip or anything to hold them in place and they kept falling off. Finally, they fell off and I lost them within about two weeks. They could use some sort of clip or a better design so they aren’t so slippery. Disappointed I lost them because I liked them.

The sound was clear, bass was good and it pairs fast. I don't know if it reached 25 hours but definitely had a long battery life. I used it sporadically for about 3 days before I had to charge again. My only nitpick is the accuracy of the battery status. This might just be an issue with my unit but after I've fully charged it, battery drops to 70% within an hour then stays at 70% for a while. For a couple of days it stayed at 50% then low batt, no changing to 30-40%. Despite this nitpick I'm satisfied with the product and I think it was a good buy.

detailedReviews 61: content: The sound quality of the Sony WIC100 is good. The purchase is to replace a pair of JBL wired earbuds that I've had for 4-5 years. Unfortunately, JBL doesn't make a good replacement. I use it in an office cubicle setting since I can't play music through speakers. I decided on the wired so I don't have to worry about losing them. The longer cord takes some getting use to and they don't seem to be physically balanced so the left side seems to pull down a little bit more than the right side. Overall a good purchase, I just need to adjust the cable/wire occasionally.

detailedReviews 72: content: The product is well designed and its operation and app are well polished. Battery duration while listening to TV is very long (I'd guess more than 12 hours). You have to find the microphone wherever in your hair or neck is at and bring it to the front. "Can you hear me now" was used often. Compared to the other brand I owned, the other brand you can wear one earphone without any problems, answer calls, skip to the next song and not worry about tangling. This style was a more affordable replacement since I lost my other brand. Well now I lost more money trying to save it, because I spent money on this junk and now I am buying the same brand I had before. Pay extra $25 and get the other brand or just don't, its your choice at the end. Just for clarification "style" means this item and "brand" means the competition. Less

I have the big Sony over ear noise cancelling headphones which I love but are too cumbersome for dog walking and the gym so thought these would be the same. The battery ?? and the control unit are ridiculously heavy and pull from me ears ...they come with three different size buds so they fit in my ears well but don't stay in at all. The cable is also quite long so catches on everything. Just not what I was expecting from Sony. Sound is great by the way for the short time they are in my ears .... could be improved 1000% buy having the little rubber thing that helps hold them inside the ear.

Broke my last ones, and when i turned these on, I felt like I got stood up for prom. The volume is decent but not equal to previous ones, and the bass just isn't there. The worst to me is that the design of the bud is cone shaped, and the magnets in the speakers repel each other instead of being flat and sticking together like in the past.I'm assuming the quality decreased due to paying for the app that now pops up when you connect for the first time. I've got enough useless apps on my phone to control sounds. I just need a quality driver and speaker to deliver them like I had in this product before.

This was the ultimate jogging earphone.WI-C100 simply does not work for jogging. Here is a summay:- Its falling out of your ear every 15 step. It simply does not stick in your ear.- The cables around yor neck are not stiff as with sp-510. So they bounce around until they fall off.- I even tried with tejp in my ears, but this is a stupid solution that works until the tejp get wet and fall.I can not understand how Sony could release a much worse product and stop selling one that worked.

Even at 5 meters away, BT connection was stable and there was no noticeable lag/delay. The music sounded good, too, from my Android phone. Here is stuff I didn't like. They're difficult to remove from my ears due to the tapered shape of the earphones making them hard to grab. Also you need to factory reset it if you use it on another device even the ones it's been previously paired with which was a major hassle. So after watching TV and I wanted to listen to music on my phone, it has to be factory reset and paired again to the phone, and vice versa. Minus one star for these 2 reasons.

Disappointed I lost them because I liked them.

title: Sound great, kept slipping off neck, lost them
detailedReviews 97: content: Sound quality is fine, but everything else about these are annoying. There's nothing to help them stay in your ears, so they fall out easily. The weight of the charging pack and volume rockers are so high that they are always pulling down on your ears with nothing to help offset that (like some kind of clip).Really wouldn't recommend these. There are better options on the cheap.

detailedReviews 98: content: Quality:sound quality okayPerformance:okayI have used similar product from Bose and Huawei. In comparison, Sony is relatively light and easily fling around while running. And Sony also doesn't come with a clip to secure the earphone.P/s: "in store pick up" is not pick up at Sunway Pyramid store. Need pick up from a far far away hodden warehouse. Buyer beware

detailedReviews 99: content: Sony used to make quality products that were reliable, and would work well for at least a few years. With these headphones, at least- those days are long gone.I bought two of these within the past six months and with both, one earbud just stopped working. One set of headphones failed about three months after purchasing. I figured the first one I bought was a probably just a dud, and since when they were working they had pretty good sound, I bought another of the same model. I think the second one lasted two months- maybe a bit less.I didn't handle the headphones roughly, or got them wet, or otherwise contributed to them failing. I just wore them a few hours a day. detailedReviews 100: content: Functionality:Stopped working at 20% battery life Quality:Echoes too much Material:Seems sturdyBought this wireless earphones to use for team meetings so I can go hands free and can still be within the vicinity of my laptop. After just 2 months, earphones stopped working. Cannot hear any sounds on my laptop. I tried to connect to two different cellphones but bluetooth was unable to scan/see the earphones. Tried asking for a copy of my invoice within the month of purchase but vendor refused to provide me a copy of my invoice so I cannot even register for my warranty to get it fixed. I should've just returned it instead of waiting for vendor to provide me a copy of my invoice.

Pls see the photo for my funny/quick solution.please think twice before buying this design, other than that product is excellent in qualitative performance.

Got this for 999, with less free shipping and coins. Good for calls and music, thankful for this budget Sony wireless. First pairing is easy since my phone detected it right away. Just need to download the Sony app which is a hassle but its just it is for this device. Then just read and tinker more on this to use the full potential of this device.

detailedReviews 103: content: I cannot get these earbuds to stay in my ear. I have used all three inserts and none are successful. I think because the wire attached is heavy, every time I turn my head they are pulled out. I have managed to get them to work by buying additional "wings" (not a Sony product, but worth Sony adding maybe) to add to the buds to keep them in my ear.The sound quality is not great. I had wired £20 headphone before these and got better sound quality. The bass is very poor.
