The keys all feel the same, regardless of the size: for example, the space bar doesn’t rock back and forth and it has the same action as any other key. Coming from a Windows PC, these kind of things are such a breath of fresh air. It probably sounds silly, but it genuinely makes all the difference and you feel like you have a quality product every step of the way. Plus it's made almost entirely out of aluminium so it feels incredibly robust and solid. The first time I played music out of it my jaw almost hit the floor. The speakers are unbelievable - great stereo width and a very wide frequency range (i.e., a lot of the bass content comes through). The 16" has a better speaker array than the 14" and if you listen to a lot of music out loud I'd say it's another reason to consider the larger size. They sound genuinely incredible considering how thin the laptop is.I’m using it purely for audio work and it is incredibly powerful for this. No matter what I throw at it, the CPU usage for any given application never exceeds 5%. It is seriously powerful, probably a little too powerful for what I’m using it for! I have only experienced the ‘beach ball’ loading icon once, and it was when I was moving stuff around between the MacBook and 2 external hard drives, plus I had 2 or 3 high-intensity programs open at the same time. It is lightning fast and never misses a beat.It’s just an incredible laptop all around. I would highly recommend spending the extra cash to get the 16” version, especially if you’re a tall person like myself. I was worried about it being too big or too heavy, but it’s neither. The size is perfect and it’s surprisingly light, but it might be worth considering to 14” version if you’re not particularly tall. If I was a bit smaller, I’d probably prefer the 14”. The Thunderbolt 5 ports mean that external SSDs are at least as far as the internal storage, if not faster at times. Talking of which, make sure your drive has double sided NANDs or you'll get a drive at half the potential speed . The black finish I went for is a real fingerprint magnet so I've bought a protector so I'm not forever rubbing the actual case. Lastly, this 16" version is quite heavy relative to its thickness so I'm careful not to pick it up or open the screen at the corner.

Solid build and the Midnight Black looks superb, no problems with fingerprints either. Battery life is amazing and the speakers, although small have a great sound and stereo stage. If you haven't guessed I'm well pleased and certainly worth the money.

No screen touch facility is a big issue for me, tiny icons and poor ease of use is a huge disappointment. Non standard USB requiring adapters and constant 2 handed use of the curser and selectors is very dated! I’m left wondering why I ever thought changing from a standard Laptop to a very expensive Mac was a good idea. Frankly, I’m very disappointed and feel very let down. Sorry, but you did ask for feedback!

detailedReviews 100: content: The computer was scratched and missing the cleaning cloth new M4's come with. I bought it in March, but warranty started in December. Second Mac I buy from Costco and INGRAM displaying strong evidence of refurbished sold as new. Costco denied it yet Costco gave me 100 pound. Still believe it's fair for people to know As it's the second Mac I buy like this.

Pressing it on left corner was placing it back to the place but again when I would press the up arrow key from left corner, it did come off. Very same day I called customer serand they did offer me a replacement. They said I would receive a call from vendor who will collect the old machine and deliver the new machine but after waiting for couple if days when I dint receive a call from them again I called Costco. This time I have been told oh we can't replace but instead we will do refund. However, I am experiencing some hardware issues with this one and as previously I could have sent it back for repair, now I am just being palmed off to Apple services which is not focused on any resolution. As far as I am concerned it is the responsibility of Very for providing a product that is not 'fit for purpose'. This computer is not functioning as it should be. and I am extremely disappointed particularly considering the money that has been paid! Very - you have failed on this occasion!

detailedReviews 104: content: The packaging and item itself is in perfect condition, the issue I've noticed is that I cannot view the warranty status on Apple's website by serial number because I cannot provide the date of purchase (apparently the date I bought this item is invalid).However I was able to find the warranty information within the settings and turns out that it will expire at 18 Dec 2025 even though I bought this at 27 march 2025. I guess this means that this product was bought long ago and has been resold.Any feedback from seller ?
