items 3: content: This watch offers a wide array of smart features, including reading messages, controlling music, checking weather, and performing breath training, providing significant functionality for its price point.
detailedSources: items: items 1: content: Let me start by saying this device has the level of connectivity and measurement that other more expensive devices have. You’re not going to want for measurements that other devices give, it’s all here. However it’s not entirely the greatest experience.
Let’s start with what I don’t like about this watch.
Charging is a pain – getting the charge connector properly installed is a challenge and the magnets are not strong enough to overcome any rotational forces. It took a day to charge because people kept moving it and the lead kept disconnecting.
When you select an exercise to monitor it locks you out of the rest of the watch. All you see is the time in that exercise and the associated steps and HR info.
It’s really inaccurate. I have a resting heart rate of high 50s to mid 60s in several other devices and as medically recorded. This device rarely shows me as less than 70 average. My blood pressure is borderline high as measured medically and with another device but this usually shows me in the good zone.
Sleep assessment is wrong. It has me asleep when I know I’m actually awake. The deep and light sleep algorithm is at odds with what my other watch shows.
Steps are inconsistent. Sometimes they match my other device but often they don’t. My iPhone is closer to my other device and so I have to think this device is wrong.
You have to wear the strap so tight to get any kind of accuracy
The app is a bit clunky in that it takes time to update
The find iphone function only works in the same room
Even when the phone focus is set to Do Not Disturb, texts come through on the watch
So what is it I like about it?
It’s consistent. The algorithm may be wrong but it’s repeatable and so I can measure progress
The clock faces are so easy to change and there’s so many of them
It does so much
o Read your messages
o Control your music
o Answer your calls or place a call
o Check HR, BP, O2, Menstrual cycle, weather
o Breath training
o Connect to social media
o Timer
o Stopwatch
o Log your exercise
o Compass
It’s a good device and looks good on the wrist but I’m less convinced about the accuracy and performance of it. I’m happy to wear but if I want accuracy and repeatability I’m probably going to switch.

items 2: content: Firstly, this is not an Apple Watch, so don't expect it to be. That's why it's a fraction of the price. But for the price (£44 at time of writing) you do get a lot of watch for your money. It connected seamlessly to my iPhone and was working within minutes. The call functionality works well, clearly displaying who is calling/messaging you. The call answering feature works well to but the speakers aren't brilliant (which I didn't expect them to be). I used this on a long walk alongside my Garmin Fenix device, the step counter was within 5% of the Garmin (which I trust implicitly). There are numerous other smart watch features and also sleep tracking and heart rate features too. As a budget smart watch/fitness tracker I think this is excellent value for money. Is it perfect, no its not but it packs a lot of punch for the money you are paying compared to some of the big players in the smart watch/fitness tracker market.
