I discovered they were originally a TSV. I always wear a size 7 1/2 in Skechers and Ryka sneakers. I sometimes find heel slippage in some shoes, especially boots that don't have laces to tighten. I have an average , not wide foot. These 7 1/2 fit like a dream. No heel slippage, easy to slip on and off. They are unbelievably comfortable. They don't have the awesome arch support that my Rykas have, but they do give very good support and cushion that I can wear all day without knee or foot pain. I came back for a navy , then second teal pair when free shipping was offered. Can't beat $45 with free shipping , what a deal! The navy pair were slightly snugger fit in width in the beginning, but stretched to my foot shape after 2nd day. Ordered the beige color, but returned because it was not to my liking. QVC makes returns so easy, at this price didn't mind the exorbitant return fee. Thinking about ordering the plum. The only minor con is the color piping around the shoe between fabric and sole wears off in the front of shoe, but that doesn't bother me or effect the wear of sneaker. These are definitely worth a try if you don't have a very wide foot.

After putting them on, I was expecting a call from Barnum and Bailey to join their circus. And then there is the weird phenomenon of "Hands-Free Slip-Ins." Have we as a country become so lazy that we cannot even lean over to put on a pair of shoes? Granted, this will be helpful to some people. But for most of us? Highly doubtful. I also wasn't thrilled the Peter Pan look of the heel area. And, what's with the elastic shoelaces? They are useless. I bought a different pair of shoes from another company and they also came with the ridiculous elastic laces, but at least they came with a pair of normal shoelaces on the side. I still like DSW as a shoe retailer but I will avoid Skechers in the future.
