They have 40mm drivers giving a very full, warm and clean sound to all music genres. Upon taking these out of the package I was welcomed by the headphones wrapped in a cloth embossed with the JBL logo. In the package was also the charging cable and headphone cable with some documentation for getting started along with warranty information. Pairing was very simple and quick. I paired both my phones to the headphones which came in handy since one is a work phone and my other is my personal phone. When sitting for hours on doctor appointments for work, I’m able to watch content on my personal phone without missing a call or message on my work phone. This is such a great feature.
Battery life on this headphone is amazing. I haven’t charged these yet because they had 80 percent life out of the box. I used them for 6 hours straight at close to max volume and when I came to use them again they were still at 80 percent battery. The packaging says 76 hours of battery life is to be expected and a 5 minute charge can give you 3 hours of listening. Those are amazing stats!!
The JBL Tune 720BT get loud enough and have zero distortion. While using the JBL app you have access to equalizer settings and adjustments. I leave the sound flat as they come tuned very well for all genres of music. Plenty of bass, midrange, and high frequencies without sounding harsh or overbearing. In the app you have adjustment for your audio and video modes to assist with syncing and also your voice aware adjustment. Phone calls sound clear to me and also the person I am speaking to.
On the headphone itself is a series of buttons on the right. Volume, power, play and pause are all easily adjusted. Long presses of these buttons give you more adjustments, such as track forward and back, and with the press of the pause/ play button summons your virtual assistant. I like how it easy it is to summon Siri when I need.
After hours of listening, my head and ears feel fine without any fatigue or pain. The headphones clamp with enough force without excessive pressure to my head and ears. I wear glasses so I usually feel pain on my ears and where my glasses touch my head from headphones clamping to my head. I don’t get any pain or pressure with this headphone. They are very comfortable to wear all day long. The earcups have a good amount of cushion making them seal around my ear good and feel comfortable. At full volume there is minimal sound leakage which is great because I like to use these at night while watching tv in my bed next to my wife. She has never complained and or stated she hears them. These headphones don’t have any noise cancelling but still keep out outside noise very well.
The JBL Tune 720BT are well built. They are very light and don’t hurt my neck or head from wearing them for extended period of time. I can easily use these for working out in the gym since they are so light and have the perfect amount of clamping force on my head without being overbearing.
The JBL Tune 720BT are for sure a great offering in which I am enjoying. They offer allot for the price point in which they are sold at and can be used all day with no issues. A solid offering!

Downloading the JBL app was not required but can be used to fine tune the sound quality of the headphones. I immediately noticed how confortable the ear cups were and the padding on the top of my head. My ears fit perfectly inside the ear cups which made for a very comfortable fit. The on off was easy to find with the headphones on and a push of the button turns them on and pairs right away. Push and hold the button and you enter BT pairing mode. Theres nothing difficult about using the track forward and volume buttons. The sounds has really good bass, mids, and highs. If you are an audiophile, you will enjoy these. These surpass any other headphones I've owned...they are that good! Charging the 720s is simple. I use these hours on end at the Gym and i forget I have them on.

I had my son try them and he said the same thing. These aren't noise canceling headphones but if you have them on you can't really hear the person next you talking even without anything playing on the headphones.
I had someone call me and I could hear them perfectly and they said they could hear me. My only issue was trying to find the button to switch to the phone call. I kept hitting the volume buttons.
These were very easy to connect to my phone and to the app.
The sound is great. You can use the JBL headphone app to use the equalizer which has some preset buttons or you can customize.
I love using these headphones for those times i don't want to use ear buds.

It is really comfortable for me, I have very tiny ears so it is a little little bit loose for me, I hope it doesn't get looser. I like this so far as my first impression. These headphones are awesome!! The quality of the sound is fantastic. They are noise cancelling but do it without electronic wizardry. Just well insulated ear cups that don't let outside sound inside. I wear glasses and the ear cups get tight around them and I don't notice a difference in noise reduction if I am wearing my glasses or not. And with the available JBL Headphones app, you can custom tailor your sound to whatever makes you happiest for whatever music/media you are listening to.
Given the sound quality and isolation factors mentioned above, I believe these are as good as many dedicated "Studio Monitor" type headphones. Add to that BT and the lightweight of these, and you have a winning recipe. These do provide me with all day comfort at work and block out the annoyance of workplace noise with ease. I can't say for sure what the actual battery live of these are, because I have not reached it yet. They are stated to have 76 hours of listening. I'm only giving them at most 40 hours per week. And I don't want to be without my new favorites,. so I charge them up over the weekend.
These come with two cords. One cord is an audio cord so you can be wired to an output device (like my laptop, or an airline audio output) that is about 3 feet long. The other is the usual, way too short in my opinion, standard orange JBL power cord. And that is my only complaint about this product; the power cord is just too short. When plugged in on my counter, part of the headphone is dangling in air because the cord is not long enough. I usually end up just using a different USB-C cord. A small price to pay and you shouldn't let that deter you from enjoying the incredible sound these headphones provide.

The physical range is not too great so they don't grab another rooms signal too often. It does happen and is a bit difficult to sort out when it does happen. The phone app works well. I do have two head sets in one room for a single TV. This gets confusing with both apps turned on. Perfect if only one headset need EQ between programs. Despite these comments this is an excellent headset belying it's cost.

Clear sound, warm mids, accurate highs and a non-intrusive bass loud enough to accompany those heavier tracks. The design is ok, but not special, a design like many other headphones. The controls are a bit clunky as there isn't much of a difference between the buttons, but maybe I'd get used to it over time. The noise reduction works well. Overall, I'm quite impressed with these headphones. What I do regret is the extremely short charging cable (about 10 cm) that comes with it, it would have been more convenient if it was longer for charging and then being able to put the headphones on the table, window sill, etc. Now the headphones dangle from the cable in the socket, so we built a scaffold ourselves to safely charge the headphones with the original charging cable.

The 710BT is to replace the 610BT(?) on-the-ear type headphones. I did like the 610BTs as they worked well too but the ear cups and head band pad fell apart so fast. In about 6-months the soft earcups of the 610BT just shredded and fell apart with just normal use. The 710BT ear cup material feels like thicker and sturdier material and they still feel comfortable to wear. My hope is that the new 710BT will last longer than 6-months.

Every time I take a step it reverberates and sounds like a giant is following me, sound blocking isn't great unless the sound is right up and you're not in a loud public place.
Cups aren't foldable so much as floppy, they don't click in either way which makes for a bad fit and not great for storage either.
Extending of the cups is difficult while on, even with two hands, or while they're off for that matter, so much force is needed that lengthening by one click is pretty much impossible.
Software is cheap:
Sound kicks in at about a quarter of my phones volume, so can't get them loud enough for loud public transport.
They don't save previous sound level, just default to loud on start up.
The warnings don't align with the current volume, listening to something quietly to interrupted by a full volume low battery warning is jarring.
They drain phone battery, I assume this is an extra something looking for another device to connect to, shouldn't be the default.
Over all they're on par or worse than $30-$40 headphones from Kmart with a slightly larger battery, definitely not geared towards the price range they're in.
Try Marley's, way nicer build/software for a similar price range.

The downside is that these headphones only lasted about 7-8 months before they stopped working. For whatever reason, now the sound just cuts off randomly. I was expecting these headphones to last at least more than 1 and a half years.
So if you're on a tight budget, then I guess these could do. But I would 100% recommend getting a higher quality pair of headphones, especially since there are some really nice ones for around $150.

If there wasn’t an app for these headphones they would definitely not be worth its price (I paid $90). Personally I find the bass boost setting to be lacklustre. I wish it was more amplified.
they are also very flexible which can be annoying at times when trying to handle them. The charging port is also in an inconvenient place..
Overall I would recommend this product for its durability, but I’m sure there are cheaper, better products on the market 🤍

It’s a decent product but I wouldn’t recommend it. Sound quality is just okay. Really not enough bass for me at 50-60% volume but when you crank up the volume to 70% and above, the bass can finally be heard. (But still just decent-) Although the sound leak is terrible when you play anything at that level :((( so anyone can pretty much hear your songs clearly lmao
