I had been following Mona Watch for a few weeks on Instagram trying to to build my wishlist on what I would want to buy.
Since we stay here in the UAE, we decided to visit them in person.
We met Burhan bhai who understood our requirement and suggested a few watch. While I had made up my mind to buy Seiko Daytona Panda and Seiko SRPH49K1 before coming and we had already moved to buying them after we tried, I was shown Orient Star e-av0125s00b that made me skip my Daytona purchase and move to this one.
Tahir bhai later on joined in and explained how both watches are different and serve different purposes with their individual standout feature especially with Seiko SRPH49K1 which is more like a Dubai souvenir and since the production has ended, the rates are going up due to demand.
For them, its a legacy they are carrying more than just running a business of selling quality watches.
