It cleanses like my home made shampoo, without leaving any silicone residue. If you don't use conditioner afterwards, your hair may feel dry, but that is what clean hair feels like without a coating of silicone, cream or oil. I, like a good little Indian apply a nice amount of coconut oil once my hair is dry and... Bam! Healthy, shiny, soft, conditioned hair sans silicone. I want to try the JH Aloevera shampoo next but the price... 😩
