content: Smallest headset I've ever used, seriously This is my first JBL headset, as I wanted to try it out. I've mostly used Sony, Creative, Turtle Beach & Razer headsets in the past. I'm genuinely surprised at how small the JBL Tune 520BT is. When stretched out to the max, it barely manages to cover my ears fully. I'm just an average 5'8 male. It's still usable but becomes a bit uncomfortable if used for long stretches. This might not be a problem for ladies but guys larger than me might not be able to use this. As for the sound quality, it is a mixed bag. Listening to music is pretty good, but when used for gaming it sounds terrible in certain instances. You can use the app's equalizer to adjust the sound profile to your liking. There are many presets available, but somehow I dislike all of them except for the 'studio' preset, which is at least okay. Keep in mind that I'm just a casual, not an audiophile. If you're serious on sound quality, this might not be it. I have better experiences with Sony and Creative headsets in terms of sound quality. The build quality is pretty good, and the blue color is really nice in my opinion. Battery life seems good as well although I have yet to fully test it. I got this during the Prime Day sales, so considering the price, the overall package is still satisfactory so I'll keep it and pass it to my nephew instead of getting a refund.

content: Surprisingly good 👍🏻 Love it !! This is my first ever JBL product (and my first ever over the head headphones). First of all, I love Japanese products and was initially leaning towards the Sony WH-CH720N. But then i read reviews for this and compared it over rtings.com and finally ended up getting these. I was not expecting much from the noise cancellation or the bass I only needed a comfortable headphones for my work day to focus. Oh boy was I surprised. The ANC is perfect for me. It wont drown out everything and sharp bursts of noise will come through, but anyway so complete silence is not what I need. At 50% volume (at which these sound amazing btw), it downs out the background droning noises to like 1% and I cant even tell my coworkers are speaking even if they are just 6 feet away from me (I can still here some mumbles but I wont be able to understand the words so I don't get distracted anymore). Coming to the sound, these are my first headphones so I can only compare it to my speakers. And I am comparing apples to oranges here but in comparison to that, these are not that great, but then again those cost like 4x as much and have much more hardware so this is a stupid comparison on my end anyway. So for these I only wanted two things - clarity and bass. These speakers have excellent quality when it comes to clarity and with the eq set to bass mode well these speakers do deliver some bass but it wont blow your mind away. But then I remember how cheap these are and I'd say they are 5/5 value for money. And these fold up too unlike the Sony ones so storage is much easier. I could not find any cons yet after my 1 wee use. Might edit this review if I find any. I would just recommend you wipe down the ear pads (which are extremely comfortable btw) once a week or so, otherwise they might get damaged coz again these are pretty cheap and they would have to do cost cutting somewhere.

snippets: The JBL headphones app is absolutely amazing because it's loaded with features in fact I think my longest chapter in this video might just be features and it's normally the sound because there's just so much going on uh in the feature list the one thing that I genuinely do like is that Dynamic low Volume EQ because uh this is something that I think a lot of people uh don't have and they crank up the volume on their earphones headphones uh to try and listen to a balanc sound so doing that usually Expos their ears to very high volumes and it can damage your hearing in the long run this is a certain fix for that because uh I found myself listening to music with these at very low volumes there was no need to crank it up so it's nice to see that JBL is taking this route when it comes to the active noise cancelling I really don't have any complaints because it works very well in fact the isolation itself does a pretty good job I found myself putting thec off at times especially when it's quiet at night there's no real need for the active noise cancelling so uh it it works fairly well droning sounds from fans and ACS and Vehicles nearby it it does tend to dull down fairly fairly well and it doesn't create that suction or discomfort and cause any nausea so uh that's definitely a good thing to have, JBL has introduced uh a very interesting feature within the app which is called the low volume Dynamic EQ which boosts the highs and the lows to a certain extent even at lower volumes so because your music sounds so rounded and so full even at lower volumes I think a lot of people won't have to crank the music up way higher to get that balanced feel and in the long run this will help in preserving your hearing
