snippets: now you're probably wondering why why would anyone want to buy these well there are several reasons why you might want to still buy a pair of wired earbuds for example you may not be a supporter of true wireless earbuds because of its effect on the environment and the waste that goes into it and the longevity issues which we have covered on sound.com check that out after this or you're someone like me who can't depend on Bluetooth headphones for every task that comes up throughout the day for example I edit a lot of videos while I'm on the go and I also compose music both personally and professionally and when I'm working in Premiere Pro or even logic pro the latency associated with using Bluetooth headphones for monitoring my mixes definitely gets in the way, I forgot what it's like to not have ear tips I need the ear tips for isolation I can still hear everything in this room anyway trudging along let's pick a song I think a good way to test this is to play some nice like calm drumming base maybe just to really get that lowend but nothing too abrupt or [Music] dramatic I'm not mad at that I actually surprised these don't sound I mean to my ears they don't sound that bad well I'm not I'm not going to back up apples claim of having Rich deep Basse like I was listening to that that what that Viral Tik Tok song uh strangers by Kenya Grace and the the Drummond bass instrumentation sounds pretty good I feel like it could have been a bit louder and I actually could hear the doubling of the vocals much better on these than I could with the default sound of my airpods Pro I definitely think that subbase sounds like Bas syns that go into the very low octaves get lost in a bit and I do lose a bit of the umph from the drums overall I'm not I'm not mad at it um these are these are impressive but then again I am listening to these earbuds in a very controlled environment I mean the studio is acoustically treated but if I were to go to the gym or to a cafe I'd have to turn up the music much higher in order to compensate for the amount of noise because this doesn't seem to have good isolation cuz there's no way to create a proper seal there's no ear tips but I'm curious to see how the Earp pods measured in our Labs so I'm going to actually just pull up the charts right now now here okay yeah so that it makes sense it actually looking at the chart quite a de emphasis in the kind of mid-base to base region and then everything below 100 HZ just basically rolls off which explains why I wasn't getting a lot of subbase when I was listening to Basse Heavy Music and looking at the response of the earpods it actually reminds me a lot of the frequency response of the airpods third generation the non-pro model it does look like the airpods does line up better in the mid frequencies than the earpods so you get a little bit more detail on some instruments like Synn pads or pianos

snippets: Technically the wired USB-C EarPods do “support” High-Res Lossless, meaning the wired connection transfers all of the data without compression. Where the issue comes is that EarPods speakers aren’t good enough for you to hear any difference in the output., So unfortunately, neither of these are going to give you the results you’re expecting. If you want the full High-Res experience you’ll need a DAC + wired headphones with better speaker quality than EarPods.

items 12: content: The lack of active noise cancellation and the open-ear design mean these EarPods offer very little isolation from external noise, requiring users to turn up the volume significantly in noisy environments, which can be detrimental to hearing health.

They're fine. Lossless. They're decent. It is lossless. Hey, look at that. Yes, you guys like lossless, don't you? Why don't you buy these? No. So, yeah, it's not um No, it's all right. It's all right in a pinch, you know. You can watch a YouTube video and stuff like that. You can even listen to a song maybe if you are really need to. But really, man.

I refuse to listen to music on them, I believe that would be an insult to music as a concept and to art in general, considering how much they cost. And they cost as much as some of the most highly regarded starter IEMs, even more than some... I don't really understand how you're not getting a clear jump in sound quality, you're literally jumping out of the shit pile. My guess is you can't get a good fit and good seal with the ear tips or something.
