snippets: so you can see what I mean by the love hate toxic relationship I've started to have with this shoe because it really does make a great counterpart to the GPS where you got a big chunky you can hardly feel anything underneath your foot it's contoured all these things and then you have the simplified minimalist version of the GPS that you can fill everything in foot it's natural all this stuff but I don't think that was on purpose I think that was a somehow just a positive unintended consequence of how much Nike cut corners on this shoe to get it to a certain price for potentially that that J crew collab and after that collab it kind of feels like all they did was instead of dropping the price back down since they're no longer and J crew for the portion they just kept the price where it was and reaped the extra reward and margins from that collab, so really not a single surprise at all on the inside it's exactly what we expected you see the columns you see how thin everything is and how cheaply everything is put together but there is one nice attribute the counter isn't the cheapest Nike counter it's a nice rubber counter that's not nearly as fragile as some of the other uh more like composite or like harder plastic counters so at least there's one good thing there so overall I think this is a very cheap sneaker made out of very cheap materials in a very cheap way but it's part of the appeal of the sneaker because that's what gives you that simple flexible upper the close to the ground feel underfoot and the lightweightness and the low PR profile look of the shoe is almost more important than anything because it is a very low profile shoe especially compared to the GPS very different but are they worth the price because the price of these are all over the place you can find them for below the retail price at like 60 bucks other websites are way above retail and so the whole sneaker Market seems to be just as confused about this sneaker as I am they can't quite figure out I think because of the death of J crew everyone's still trying to find that equilibrium of how much should they be how much should they cost how much hype should be around them how many drops are they actually doing is there is there enough scarcity to justify making these a hype sneaker on these resale sites to try to make some money off of it or is it just a thing where we need to liquidate them and get that inventory out I think since the strangle hold of J crew has been released on the the kill shot everything's just up in the air and it's just in disarray and people really can't decide if they love it or if they hate it if it's going to be something worth investing in or if it's just another garbage sneaker and the thing that bums me out is this really could be the perfect companion sneaker to the GPS or just a great flat versatile simple sneaker but Nike just cut so many corners that you end up with a sneaker with lots of potential that doesn't live up to hardly any of it and it really is a bummer that Nike just does this over and over and over again and I understand why they do it you know it's cuz they're all about margins they're all about most people aren't going to wear these sneakers out the majority of people are going to buy them wear them a few times and they're going to end up throwing them away they sit in the closet for a few years and so they're baking products based on how their consumers consume their products but at the same time I wish that Nike would take the higher Road and make their products live up to the stand standard and quality they could be built at instead of making it products for the lowest common denominator consumer who's just going to throw these sneakers away in a few few weeks or months so now that you heard the good and the bad and ugly let me know what your thoughts are on this sneaker do you love it or do you hate it just put it in the comment section because I really don't think that comments make that big of a difference with the video's performance so it's not just a cheap ploy to get you to help the video out even though you could help it out by liking and subscribing but I'm mostly just curious what you think of the shoe after you've seen all the data because really come away from it where I'm like if I could find it for 60 bucks I think I would buy it but for anything more than 60 bucks it kind of feels like you're getting cheated because of how they just gobbled up the margins from the previous J crew collab
