detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I almost bought myself one of these Asus Tuf gaming computers last year so I was very eager to try this one out. Construction is so good, it just looks and feels sturdier than any laptop I've ever used, it really feels like it could take a tumble off a table or out of a backpack and survive (no I'm not going to try out that theory!) And I'm a sucker for RGB keyboards - it has keyboard controls for the colors, patterns, etc so it's simple to change things up on the fly. I use a super quiet keyboard for work while my husband uses a very clacky one - this is perfectly right in the middle, very soft keys with a slight clack that is pretty satisfying. I'm writing this review on it and am enjoying it immensely. It's a full 10 key keyboard which isn't easy on a 15 inch laptop but it doesn't feel cramped or cluttered and I can do my work with the number pad without any issue. Start up took a looooong time - I was a bit scared that it wasn't going to turn on at all out of the box but it seems like it just needed some time to set itself up and once my profile was logged into it was much quicker. This is running Windows 11 Home so there is a lot of bloat to sift through, I'm sure we could get it running even faster with some tweaking. It needs more ram though, 8gb is not enough to comfortably run windows with some browser tabs open, let alone actively running a game. Keep that in mind, get the most ram you can afford! The battery drains fairly quickly, any gaming I would do I would keep it plugged in, but for quick jaunts it should be okay. Otherwise, it is a joy to use and feels like it will last forever even with heavy use!

detailedReviews 2: content: The laptop is beautiful, its verybattractive to look at. It runs smooth for normal operation. But if you use it as a dedicated gaming laptop well thats a differnt story. It has a Nvidia 3050 GPU but only has 4gb of ram which you need for games. Unfortunately this is very low for gaming. You want at least 16gb of ram on the graphics card. The ram installed on the laptop is 8gb but that is only used for applications and things like that and not for gaming. There is no way to increase the dedicated ram on the GPU. If you play games like war zone. You have to return down the quality of the game. But as a positive if the games you play are not very demanding it works fine. but watching movies , consuming content. Downloading . Anything other than playing high end games that are demanding the 4gb of ram on the 3050 GPU is not enough. There is no way to upgrade the ram on the GPU. You can install more regular ram though and increase the storage. It has open slots so both the regular ram ( not the 4gb Nvidia 3050 ram) can be upgraded with what ever you want.

detailedReviews 3: content: This laptop is fairly lightweight. Initial startup was nice and easy, it did take a while but it didn't need much from me to do the setup. The initial picture quality was also nice, my first stop was to change the background image to fit more my style. The image looks nice and crisp. After downloading some of my games, the processing of the games was nice and smooth. It didn't lag as much as my other computer. I will say the games recommended play on the lowest settings. I then pulled up the Hogwarts Legacy game and the setting are on ultra for everything and it still runs smoothly. The speakers are fairly loud and currently the volume stays around 22.
Memory only comes with 8GB, there's 2 slots but finding where to add the 2nd stick is a little difficult. The ram is DDR5. I would highly recommend the 2nd stick of memory or getting a bigger memory stick. It comes with a 3050 GPU.

detailedReviews 4: content: I have the TUF A15 AMD Ryzen 7 6800H with Radeon Graphics 2022 model. I purchased it about a year and half ago. Just after a year of use and using it with the utmost care the Power button started malfunctioning. Firstly when I purchased it, I noticed that when I put the laptop in sleep mode I had to force restart it as it would not come out of the sleep mode. This has caused me real inconvenience as I also use this for work. Since I only got a warranty for a year now I have to pay about $100 USD as the repair people have told me that I have to change the complete Keyboard as the Power button comes along with it. I understand it is a mid level gaming laptop but honestly you could do better. I would no recommend anyone to purchase it and it will be my last purchase with ASUS.

detailedReviews 5: content: I had a whole paragraph writing about this laptop but it got accidentally deleted so this is what I will just say. Normal screen flickers, built like a gaming laptop which is convenient but ASUS lacks some features, tweaked with power usage and lasts longer than 6 hours so viable for school use (do some research), and as the title says, recommended to wait for a discount.
Technically, no tech is bad, the tech just have to be functional and this one is. The price is the only thing that I worried about and you should too which is why I give 5 stars. If this laptop was sold at $10,000 NZD right now, I think you, the reader and I know that I would have given this 0 or 1 star but it also depends on the pricing and if it is just premium pricing or just a scam. Otherwise, I wouldn't buy this laptop right now (11/02/25) but if I did, I would lower my rating from 5 star to 3-4 star depending on my needs around that price point.

The name says that the laptop's memory is 1 TB, but instead of one terabyte, it comes with 447 GB, which is very offensive and I am outraged by the way they treat their customers. I'm trying to call them now with the phone number that is listed in the NOON program, but they hang up on me during the call. I demand a fair refund or replacement of my laptop within two days, if this does not happen I will contact the police!

detailedReviews 8: content: The best way I can describe this laptop is BEAUTIFUL! The graphics look absolutely amazing, everything runs so smooth and fast. It also has great battery life, I played a game without it being plugged in and it lasted 3 hours! Every other computer I’ve had lasted about an hour off of the charger. I love the customizable color functions that you can do with the keyboard, it allows for your own touch to make it unique. I’m just so amazed with this laptop, it is my all time favorite now!

detailedReviews 9: content: Turning it on for the first time leads you through the setup process with ease. I've been able to run Raft and a few other games without any issues. I've had it for a week and I do not regret spending the money. Additionally, adding the device as one of your devices on the brand's website allows for a warranty and such in case of accidental damage and small defects in the screen. I would recommend this computer for anyone who needs a cheaper but good laptop. (I'm even writing this review on the laptop)

I was so excited to review it since I have been wanting a gaming laptop for the sims 4.
