I will go through a pair of shoes in less than 6 months and will have severe back pain if I do not switch them out before then… BUT I wore my last pair of 680’s for over a year without any issues and they still look really good even after tracking lots of miles. It was a no brainer to buy another pair (I actually bought 2 this time). I also love that they have a nice price. They are more affordable than other shoes in the same category’s. I can’t recommend them enough!

It’s breathable that even through heavy wet monsoon rain it dries overnight in normal hotel aircon. The white colour didn’t get ruined, clean off easily. Very durable. items 23: content: I have been a faithful ASICS user for many years, but the value proposition for ASICS IMHO has been falling for a while, so I decided to try New Balance. The 680 was listed as one of the best shoes under $100 in one survey so I decided to give them a try. I'm not disappointed. I'm a size 9 and wear my shoes daily, all day, and particularly for my daily 3 mile walks. The 680 offers a great fit with ample room in the toe-box to accommodate my slightly wide foot in that area. The heel cup is perfect with enough capture to hold your heel in but not uncomfortably so. Cushioning toe to heel is terrific and provides a good rebound with each step. I may be splitting hairs but my only complaint is that while overall support is quite good, I would have preferred a slightly firmer footbed. That said, these shoes are really comfortable, and for the price, a super value.
