content: This is my third purchase of this modell in 7 years.The motors are very good but the bag tends to split after 3 Autumn uses .It's expensive to replace just a bag.I never let it be put away wet and care for my tools so it's not neglect.Good points are it's very powerful and as a big bag ,plus a nice long lead.Bad points are tiresome converting from blow to suck, but I rarely use blow so great for myself.Also wear ear plugs as very load.

To but a new bag was almost the cost of a new complete unit. I now use one as a blower and the other to collect leaves. It's also a bit on the heavy side when the bag gets full. Might be too heavy for some people.

content: The Garden Tidy 300 itself is excellent.I use it as a leaf vacuum and it is pretty much peerless for the price, the metal rather than plastic internals make all the difference.Nevertheless, the accessories; the bag and strap, are truly awful, it is almost impossible to believe the designers of the machine designed the accessories.More likely that they have re-purposed them from a much cheaper product or that the kid on work experience designed them on a Friday afternoon after a 'liquid lunch'.Don't be put off just make sure you order a spare bag when you buy the product and always have a spare in the garage just in case. The strap is easily replaced with something fit for the job.

(I must also add - my slate chippings are the larger grade, so I'm not sure if it would suck up small gravel / slate chipping etc).There is a intensity setting and it even worked fine on the lowest setting.There are multiple reviews saying it's a heavy piece of equipment but I personally don't think it's too heavy (although I am a 37 year old healthy male).I also think it would feel cheap if it didn't have a bit of weight to it.There's a strap included which makes it easy to use and takes some of the weight.The collection bag is easy to empty and the leaves get slightly shredded which helps compact them a little. - just like it says on the description.I've not used the blower setting yet.I've been told these things only work well on the blower setting but if my experience with the vacuum is good, then the blower setting must be just as good.My only problem is that there isn't a complete ON / OFF switch.Instead, there's a knob which you turn to turn it on and it also acts as a power / intensity setting.Not sure why it's designed like that but there must be a reason.Once used once, it won't be so odd - probably just needs a little getting used to.Also, I do wish there would be something added within the box to wrap the electric wire around once I've finished using it.This time, as with other electronic garden equipment, I wrapped the wire around the handle which I guess isn't so inconvenient - it just would've been a nice extra for something to be supplied.I wouldn't say it's as quiet as it's made out to be in the description but it's not really as issue either.Most garden tools and equipment make noise.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and I'm annoyed I've not bought it sooner. content: This is.a quality well built product as you would expect but there are two big flaws . First is the lack of a trigger to control the unit when in use and to immediately stop suction or the blow function is an important oversight as when using and accidentally sucking up gravel (or similar item that could damage fan blades) you have no way of stopping the unit instantly - having to turn a dial to off position is too slow. The 2nd issue is having to dismantle the machine everytime you want to move from suction to the blower option...would have been nice if you could have a switch or leaver to move from one operation to another- like other less expensive blower/vacs.

Dust in my hair, mouth, shoes, clothes destroyed every time. B&Q are not giving me satisfaction as they are insisting I send them a photo of the problem but it's not easy to capture that issue on a photo.

content: Bought this to clear our drive, front garden and patio of leaves especially sycamore seeds. Was happy with Bosch as have had several of their DIY tools & lawnmowers over many years and had no problems. Whilst it was a bit heavier than I expected, it comes with a shoulder strap so all was good. I only got to try it on vacuum as whilst working fine, after 30 minutes or so it stopped working. I tried several things - checked no blockages in the tubes, let it cool down, changed the fuse, tried a different socket, checked no blockages in the pipes etc. Still nothing. Took it back for a refund.

content: Had the 3000 for just over a year only use it to blow leaves into a pile on half power. Extremely capable of blowing Godzilla over. Registered with Bosch for the 2yr warranty. However cannot turn it off unless I unplug it. As switch has stopped working. Back toBnQ for refund. Shame. Let's hope the process is painless.
