The fashion is hit or miss (I guess that's a personal taste thing), but this model is pretty low key and works for most environments. The only thing I don't like about these is the big white "SLIP-ON" printed on both sides of the otherwise all black shoes. It just advertises "Grandpa" IMO and detracts from the fairly clean design. After trying mine on and deciding they somewhat fit, I took a black sharpie to the white lettering. Problem solved. Note these are about 1/2 size larger than the others Skechers I have.

I have another pair of slip on shoes from a different maker and while they also function great, I've been less than satisfied with their durability as I'm on my second pair because the soles simply wore out. This other shoe is $40 more than the Skechers, and I've only had the new pair for about a month so I cannot speak to durability. I wear these shoes every day, as I did with the other brand, and I put in a lot of steps daily. I am hopeful that these shoes are more durable.
I originally bought the other shoes as I was going to have lumbar fusion surgery and later that same year a replacement of a shoulder. I needed a pair of shoes that I could slip on, it not then feel loose or fall off. This approach works great so now I'm too lazy to wear my other shoes that you have to tie, and these have become my daily go to shoe, especially as I'm retired.

I decided to try these and he LOVES them. They feel good and he loves that they slip right on. So happy to find shoes he likes!! Already ordered another pair!

He's worn them walking quite a bit without blisters or issues so I think they are a winner. My Mom thinks she would like a pair too, so we'll have to look for a narrow model.
