detailedReviews 25: content: This is a collectors item, It is a boxed set that we as Fans of the series would like to receive in a pristine condition.. considering these are not just some ordinary editions of the book, right after ordering, I messaged the seller to please secure the packaging and make sure that the set has no dents.
Lo and behold, when it came, it was covered by a thin carton box, and a thin layer of bubble wrap.
You would expect the box of the books would also be preserved since its is also what you buy it for,
But it came dented in ALL CORNERS. Not just some minor or subtle dents, but as you can see in the picture, clearly, it wasnt handled with care maybe from the storage until shipment?
The cover of the books inside were kinda blemished too, pictures for reference.
Considering this is a large chain, it should be expected that they are able to package and store their product well. This isnt as fragile as glass but the nature of the product itself, being a collectors Item, a Fragile sticker should have been placed.
Before buying this, I read reviews, some saying that theirs came dented too, I just thought that the seller would take those comments seriously and apply corrections where needed, but well, clearly, no.
I looked forward to receiving this, only to be really disappointed in the Packaging and Handling of the item.
Asking for a return or refund is not quite the answer to this issue because what is the guarantee that it will arrive better? And the time and hassle to return and reorder and wait again is just a nuisance, when it shouldve been packed securely and properly handled and labeled from the beginning.
