snippets: The reviewer discusses the NiTHO HEXAGON Wireless RGB Controller, highlighting its extensive compatibility with PS4, PS5 (for PS4 games only), PC, Android, and iOS. Key features include 6-axis motion sensors, RGB LED lights visible through numerous cutouts, a touchpad, and customizable components like joysticks, D-pad, and triggers., The detachable L2/R2 triggers can be adjusted for racing or shooting modes, enhancing gameplay versatility., Then comes the controller, so you can see the look of our gamepad, it has holes everywhere, and you can see the RGB through them. The feel of holding it is good. Due to so many holes, the grip is also maintained well, and I found its size to be a bit on the larger side. Compared to the PS4 controller, the grip area is slightly different in size, but this one is a bit bigger. It's made of full plastic, and the plastic quality is also good. It feels quite lightweight when lifted because they've removed the holes everywhere. Its weight is 170 grams, while the PS4 controller is 220 grams, so it has more features. It's on the lighter side, so I think even if you play games all day, it won't make your hands hurt or anything. The company hasn't just given holes; they have a purpose. As soon as you turn it on, the light blinks, showing its Bluetooth connection. Once connected, the RGB lights turn on and are visible through these holes, which look amazing in the dark. The company also claims that these holes make it sweat-proof, meaning even if you play for a long time, your hands won't sweat because of good airflow. I also didn't experience any sweating issues during my gameplay. The design can be subjective, so let me know in the comments what you think. Honestly, I felt a bit like the company isn't providing value for money, meaning it could have been made more premium with rubberized material. It feels so light that it doesn't feel like a premium product. However, there are no flaws in the overall fit and finish. The joystick has a rubberized texture and feels quite premium. It also has a touchpad, similar to the PS4 controller, so if you need to perform those functions, the touchpad system is necessary. Overall, it's a PS controller setup. We have a D-pad here, share and options buttons, and an 'N' button in the middle, which stands for NiTHO, but it functions like the PS button. Below it, you can see a small hole, just like in the PS4 controller, where a speaker is fitted. So, they've included all the features of the PS4 controller. It also has a headphone jack at the bottom. The Type-C port is at the bottom for charging. It has a rechargeable built-in battery, and the company claims up to 9 hours of gaming. The backup is decent, but in real life, you might get 6-7 hours, which is enough. We also have buttons instead of triangle, square, and cross, which are A, X, B, Y buttons. So, it's an Xbox-style layout. We have L2/R2 triggers, a D-pad, two joysticks. This one feels a bit different. Let me show you the other joysticks. By default, we have this joystick. When we remove it, we can install a flat joystick instead. This one is PS-style, and this is the normal style. This one is a bit higher than the default joystick, giving better reach and a better feel. It also has a good rubberized coating. If you want to change the D-pad, you can just pull it out. You can replace it with this one. It fits right in and is slightly raised. You can feel it as soon as you hold it. We also have this joystick. So, the setup would be like this. Both fit perfectly on the fingers, shaped exactly like the thumb. You can set your hand and then play. We also have two triggers. This left trigger can be attached by simply placing it and locking it in place. There's also an additional lock. If you leave it open, the button will press fully. But if you lock it, the button will stop here. So, for specific games, if you want to set it so that the button doesn't press fully but works with a slight press, you can do that with these triggers. Similarly, the right one can also be adjusted. Now you can see it looks like a Dracula setup. The advantage of attaching these triggers is that the area of the L2/R2 buttons increases, making them feel even better to press. This is just for fun; it's not for serious work. You can play games well without them, but it adds extra enjoyment. If you get bored, you can change them. What else could be its use? If you have a professional gamer who plays with a gamepad, let me know in the comments. We can play games with anything. This controller connects via Bluetooth and appears as 'DualShock 4 Wireless Controller', which is the name of the PS4 controller. Due to Bluetooth, its compatibility is so wide that it connects to almost all devices. It works on PlayStation, but only PS4 and PS5. On PS5, it only works for PS4 games; PS5 exclusive games won't work. It also works on Android smartphones, Android TVs, or Android tablets, and all iOS devices. It works on games that support gamepads. It also works well on Free Fire. If you play racing games, check the game's compatibility with gamepads. It supports all these devices where there is gamepad support. It's not possible to have it work everywhere. I've turned on the gamepad tester, so you can see all our keys are working perfectly. I've tested everything I could. You can see the joystick is moving well. The top buttons are working fine. The D-pad is working well. These buttons are also working fine, as are the option buttons and the touchpad button. Let's test the error as well to see its circularity. We get about 10-11% error here, which might seem high, but you won't notice it while playing games. If you're a professional, this error might be an issue. Let's test latency and vibration. Honestly, it's quite fun to play games with this controller, but it doesn't feel like the original PS4 controller. The vibration is good, a bit strong. Like when you set your smartphone to strong vibration, it's a bit sharp, and this one is like that. Some people might like it. It adapts a bit, sometimes more, sometimes less, but it's linear vibration. It won't be like more vibration in the front and less in the back because it has dual motors, so it vibrates on the left and right sides, like any normal controller. But yes, its vibration is on the stronger side. So, if you like strong vibrations, you'll get that. I prefer subtle vibrations. Since it connects via Bluetooth, people might wonder about latency. I'll press a button, and you'll see the action simultaneously. It's negligible; you can't even tell there's latency. If you measure it professionally, maybe you'll find something, but honestly, I didn't feel it at all, even after playing for a long time. To connect with PS5, you first need to connect it with a wire. Then you can see it's connected with the PS5. The controller works normally, just like a PS5 controller. But you can only play PS4 games with this controller; PS5 games won't work. For example, if we play Astro's Playroom, it says 'DualShock 4 Wireless Controller' doesn't work with PS5 games. So, no matter what I do, the controller won't work with it. But if we play GTA 4, which is a PS4 game, you can see it works perfectly. You can play it however you want. It works normally, just like PS4 games, even with vibration support. When I was playing on PC, the vibration wasn't working. Maybe it's a driver issue or something else. I checked the website, and they don't provide any drivers or software. So, I don't know the issue, but the vibration didn't work for me on PC. It costs around ₹2000, so considering that, my experience with it was good. If they had made it a bit more premium, it would have felt like a ₹2000 product. But the features they offer are quite impressive, especially the customization. Very few controllers support customization and provide such a complete gaming feel. It also targets users who have a PS4 and need another controller for multiplayer games but can't afford an original controller. Plus, the advantage of this controller is that it works on other platforms like Android, iOS, and PC. So, if you need a controller with wide compatibility and like the features I've shown, you can definitely go for it. I didn't find any major drawbacks for the price. They also have a cheaper version with the same compatibility but fewer features. I'll provide the link in the description. If you want a review of such a controller, let me know in the comments. Also, if you know of any other gamepad with so many good features that you want reviewed, let me know. We'll try to bring it. You'll find the link in the description.
