I really love the unique aesthetic on these headphones. I wanted to get something elegant and unique for the gym and travel. I have other products from Moondrop that I’m very happy with (Dawn Pro, CHU II, Space Travel). So I figured I’d take a chance on the Edge. The fit/finish look/feel premium and they are infinitely comfortable. The Bluetooth 5.4 connection is extremely fast and stable with no audible noise. My biggest complaint with the Edge is how empty the bass response is. I am no audiophile and I know that I prefer a slight “V”-shaped sound signature. That being said, there is a “basshead” EQ preset in the app and even with this EQ preset selected, the bass is still quite anemic. I would REALLY appreciate if Moondrop would fix this with a firmware update. They could add the option for a customizable, 10-band EQ or just boost the bass levels in their cooked in EQ. If they can get the bass to be comparable to the Space Travel or the CHU II with a firmware update, I’ll gladly come back and rate the Edge 5 stars. Until then, I really can’t recommend these.Edit: Moondrop released a firmware update that seems to have improved the bass response a bit. With the “basshead” EQ preset selected, the sound profile seems relatively flat to me (which is a good thing!). I still think the basshead EQ should have a more pronounced bass response though. The “basshead” EQ tuning should be the “balanced” preset in my opinion. That being said, I’m really enjoying these headphones a lot more now!

items 3: content: Coming from the Koss KSC35 and JBL Live 500BT, the Moondrop Edge sounds muffled compared to koss ksc35, especially in mids and treble. Clarity is there, but it lacks the sparkle of the KSC35. If you prefer a bright sound, this isn’t it—it’s neutral and flat. With EQ (Violin-Solo preset), it improves slightly, but the KSC35 still sounds better. However, compared to the JBL Live 500BT, the Moondrop is much clearer and it sounded better overall. LDAC on Windows 10 requires a paid A2DP driver, while Android supports it natively. Gaming and voice chat suffer due to Bluetooth’s Hands-Free Audio mode, so I’d recommend wired headphones instead. Comfort is great, with lightweight build and soft earpads. Overall, it sounds good, but too muffled for me without EQ.

Compact, well designed, feels high quality. Build quality is great. Quick charge. Noise cancelling is okay, could be better but blocks most of the sound out. The buttons on the side for volume and power are a bit hard to tell apart, since they are flush with the headphone, instead of popping out. However, it’s overall a great pair of headphones!

items 5: content: Came very quickly (less than 3 weeks). Box is nice. Build quality is pretty good, but I will need to see how long it really lasts for. Sound quality is pretty solid for this price point but it’s nothing to be very impressed by. Bass is a bit soft for my personal tastes. Not sure if this is an issue with my unit or not, but even at full volume, the headphones do not get that loud.. this might be a preferential thing from person to person. Overall worth the purchase price, just keep your expectations at a realistic level for this price.

The tuning is a little to the flat side, which is kind of unexpected for Moondrop products. Nonetheless, the tuning is great, vocals are clear and the soundstage delivers better than other headphones in this price range. If you are a bass fan, I would avoid this purchase and go for the Joker instead.
