The texture/feel of this product seems a bit odd to me, but not necessarily bad. The glossiness wears off quite fast for me, but the tint does last a little while, which is nice, but not quite as long as I hoped it would last. My main drawback was that it seems to make my lips quite dry after using. I have one of the Sephora brand lip glosses that I purchased around the same time, and that one makes my lips feel so much more moisturised and soft compared to this lip oil. So it definitely loses a start for that. Overall a decent product, but probably wouldn't repurchase due to the drying effect.

I also find the initial formula and shine very comfortable on the lips. However when it dries down and stains the lips, the lips can feel dry. At this point I like to touch up with a gloss (clear or coloured). I don’t prefer adding another coat of the lip oil, as I feel it would be too pigmented on me. Generally, this is a great product, I would just recommend adding a balm/ lip gloss when the shininess of the lip oil wipes away.

Usually use lip balm as don’t like texture of sticky gloss so thought I’d try these to see and was pleasantly surprised. Very pretty wearable colours. Even though I did need to apply a fair few times during the day (more than I usually do with my usual balms) I still ordered the full sizes in both colours (and the blushes) for a change. The product itself glides on nicely and does go from jelly to a more oil-like consistency. It's opaque with a slight shine and when it fades you'll be left with a longlasting stain. It does have a slight cooling feel and I will admit it's not the most moisturizing either. You'll 100% want to have a lipbalm on for prep. The lip oil description is a little misleading, it's def more of the gel stain that it's described as, but I don't hate that. I feel like this formulation allows the color to stay put, not bleed, and dry down evenly. I'm a light olive tone and I feel like these colors will be flattering on everyone, but maybe won't show up on really deep skin tones? I would def try in store. It has a super light menthol feeling but it's gentle and you can't taste OR smell anything, so this is great for sensitive ppl.Serenity is my personal favorite shade, def that warm terracotta brown that I think a lot of ppl will gravitate toward.

Pigment is much nicer with the deeper shades- Serenity is a more natural plummy tinted pink but not dark at all. But the 'tint' does not last well. I leave it on for an hour while I chill in the evening and wipe it off before bed and the coloured tint is there in then morning but by the afternoon it's faded. Also has a peppermint cooling sensation to it which I'm not a fan of. Overall if it's on your wishlist for your birthday go for it but if you are spending your own money I wouldn't bother, it's too expensive in this climate.

On first application it feels very different to other lip oils, the applicator and product feels almost wet, cool and water like. However as you rub it in it then turns to a thin oil like application. It does not feel as comforting as some oils, however it does give a lovely stain like tint, which when the oil wears off your lips as still tinted. I personally like this as I sometimes just need to top my application with another clear or less tinted oil as my lips are still stained. Nice but not sure I would purchase lots more of these.
