detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: Upgraded from creality ender 3 to Kobra Neo.
My ender 3 was ok as a beginner product but there are huge improvements when using the Neo.
1. Sound. - negligible. You wouldn't know it's on. The ender 3 has a lot of mechanical noise and noise from the motors. Though I do sometimes here clicking noises from the extruder direct drive system. Can't seem to figure out where it's coming from. But not too much of an issue.
2. The direct filament extrusion as opposed to to passing through a tube (as in the ender 3) is a huge leap forward. My ender 3 repeatedly had fillament breaking and getting stuck inside the tube thereby causing frequent print failures. You needed to have high tolerance, non brittle filament to have good extrusion. These problems don't exist now.
3. Self leveling. - huge time saver with better precision. I wouldn't say it's perfect but I can't complain for the price. Beats using a paper to level every time a knob is turned. The Kobra may come off tuned out of the box. But you can adjust the distance on the digital interface after the slef levelling is completed. Mine has a 1.98 mm error in Z axis. I've adjusted that on the interface.
For a beginner and enthusiast such as myself, the price of 14500 was too good a deal. Don't go for the older models even if they show a lot more reviews. Go for the latest tech.

title: Upgraded from Ender 3 to Kobra Neo
detailedReviews 2: content: It was a charm 🕺
I am writing this review after taking my first print. Earlier during Diwali time, I ordered Ender 3, 2023 version. But the item received was 2021 version. Hence I returned. Taken this printer. My decision seems to be right.
Pros:
1. Packing is too good.
2. Comes in 80% assembled condition unless like Ender 3 wherein you require lot of assembly and adjustment. It took about one hour maximum to complete the assembly.
3. After assembly, absolutely no adjustment was required. I did only auto bed levelling. Auto bed levelling is too good. That's it. Every part was in tact and did not need any tightening or loosening. Great 👍
4. Magnetic base.
5. Nice cute LCD display.
6. Very less noise during operation.
7. Clearly written user manual and assembly video.
8. What next?🤔 All great 😃
Cons:
1. If at all I say, it's the power cord given with the printer which is not suitable for Indian 3 pin sockets. You may use it; but not preferable as Earth pin is of European version. I tried with that. As Earth connection is open, I could see leakage voltage of SMPS at the printer. Though not harmful, not advisable. Hence, I have used my own cable. Now perfect.
It is my first printer. Charming experience. With the sample filament given along with the printer I printed " Shark beer bottle opener" with the given g code in the SD card. It took about 17 minutes to print the same with default settings. Came out very nicely. 👏👏
This printer is really good. Buy it blindly. You won't regret.
Thanks to the manufacturer and Amazon. 🙌

title: Easy assembly, auto bed leveling, magnetic base
detailedReviews 3: content: Good 3D printer at the affordable price
Delivery was on time from amazon.
Installation was super easy as the product comes semi assembled. Couple of screws fastening and we should be ready to print.
All the instructions are readily available.
Has all the features which are available in other brand printer which are slightly costly.
Auto bed levelling is a superb feature and Minimum Z offset is something which we need to do and it takes few tries.
After all these efforts with knowledge of certain print setting, configuration and calibration, we should printing out 3D models.
Overall best printer at an affordable price with all necessary features.
25/08/2023 : Printer worked great and now there is a problem with the extruder. Ayucubic team does not support as it not sold by them. 3idead does not even care to listen to the problems. 1 year warranty is just a false promise made by them. Even after multiple emails and call, there wont be any support from them.
We also dont get any spare parts for this model or company in India.
Better not to buy any items from Anycubic in India or any product from 3idea. Buy from trusted and reputed companies like creality.

detailedReviews 4: content: Good printer but part not available
Fantastic printer but very crappy after sales service. Extruder broken down, no part is available in aftermarket, everything need to be registered through Anycubic support and will be shipped from China. My part has not yet reached India even after pleading with them for more than a month. Now I have a bricked printer just eating some space. Terrible support. Think twice before buying.

detailedReviews 5: content: Zero support leading to absolute dissatisfaction
I am not able to get any help from the manufacturer or seller. All mails to support remain unanswered. During installation I found that the installation manual was unreadable in the SD card. I requested a separate copy but there was no response. Now after a month the printer always shows invalid calibration and the printer starts printing from outside the print area. I asked for help and again no response.
So now I have to stop using it.

title: Great for price and print quality
detailedReviews 8: content: Superb entry level 3D printer
This was my first sojourn into the world of 3D, and I chose this as the print quality was touted as superb for this price point. They weren't wrong, the level of detail is outstanding. Using the device is extremely simple, though I prefer Chitubox for generating the slice .photon files instead of Anycubic's own Photon Slicer.
The printers build quality is, overall, good. I disconnected the fan though, as it is noisy, and makes the room stink of resin. It's better IMHO to not have the fan at all, and since disconnecting it I have had no issues with resin odour at all whilst printing. I have not had Z-axis wobble as yet, though others have reported it and there are DIY fixes available if your prints suffer from it.
Be prepared for your first half a dozen / dozen prints to fail. There is a learning curve. But, it's an easy one to climb, you just need patience and persistence ;)
You can also look for open source software to deliver .photon files to the printer over a network, as the printer motherboard has an RJ45 socket on. I've yet to try this, but it's next on my Todo list. The USB stick supplied with the printer failed spectacularly mid-print on one model I had, resulting in 4 failed prints until I checked the .photon and found it had been corrupted by the USB stick. Buy your own, but no more than 4GB as they have to be FAT32 formatted.
Being in the UK, one major niggle is the need to keep the resin warm - garage temperatures below 18 C yield iffy results, peeling layers or failed adhesion to the build plate. I've since added an electric heater and controller to mine to keep the interior of the printer at a cosy and constant 20/21 C at all times during a print, and I've had no problems ever since. I'd suggest Anycubic consider this as an optional extra perhaps - I fitted mine for around £20 total cost.
Beware the 'LCD Screen 3 month warranty' though. Mine start showing dead spots/splotches, which resulted in tunnels in the 3D prints, literally after 3 months and a few days. Anycubic (politely) declined to replace it under warranty, but provided a link to a replacement part on Amazon. Fortunately the replacement was only £40 (apprx) so not too bad. So far, Anycubic support have been very quick, polite and helpful.
Top tips:
Nitrile (not latex) gloves. ALWAYS WEAR THEM when handing the prints. I don't. And I should.
Two, clear plastic, alcohol baths - one 'dirty' one to soak away the majority of the fresh resin, and then another for a 'clean' wash to remove any persistent stuff. You will get through less alcohol in the long run this way. If you leave these baths out in nice strong sunlight (yeh, UK, funny) then the UV from the sun will turn resin into fluffy white gel. You can then let this condense and remove it from the alcohol to lengthen the lifespan of the alcohols usefulness.
Wire mesh cake rack - to let the prints drip dry over a cloth.
Silicon cake-mix scraper, ideal for gently removing residual resin from the print tray without damaging the FEP film.
Cake icing turntable - if you want to spray your prints
UV LED curing box (I made my own, but easier to buy one TBH) - again, referring to the UK and it's sunlight/UV reliability problem. You really want to harden your prints with good UV.
Flat nosed, sharp snips/pliers, for cutting the supports off without harming the print itself.
100ml Plastic Syringe, for transferring resin, alcohol and so forth.
Silicon baking mat for standing resin-coated stuff on (makes it easier to clean off).
Some good hand files, and 1200+ grit wet&dry sand paper for finishing your prints.
Make sure hollow models have sufficient drain holes cut in them! Trust me, models will split apart and leak if they still contain uncured resin. It ain't pretty!
Make sure your entire printer is level, and when you have it level check it and make it level again. It's the screen/tray area that has to be dead level.
When you've done printing, rather than clean the FEP down with cloth (and risk scratching it), I syringe some clean alcohol into the resin tray, move the build plate to 'Home' and then raise it about 3mm. This lets the alcohol do all the hard work, and you can then pour it out into your 'clean' bath later, and use a soft cloth to dry up any residue before the next print. (I find really really really cheap toilet paper is ideal for this!)

title: Superb entry level, print quality, tips
detailedReviews 9: content: Very impressive performer, good quality and efficient prints!
I am something of a veteran both of 3D printing and Anycubic 3D printers. This machine has been bought as an upgrade from my Photon S, which has served me well for over a year with minimal fuss and very few failed prints. It will also be working alongside my two filament-based printers (also Anycubic).
DLP (resin) 3D printers are not new, they’ve been around now for many years and while the machines have continued to improve, both in performance levels and price point, their biggest downside is their inability to print large, detailed objects. Filament based printers traditionally have much larger build areas but there is normally a sacrifice with the quality. If only there was a way to combine the larger print volumes offered by FDM printing but to also have the detail and quality of DLP…
The printer arrived well packaged and well within the specified delivery time. Included in the box are the usual items you would expect with a new resin printer – gloves, mask, resin filters, scraper, USB flash drive and instructions. A full manual is also included on the flash drive. What’s not included is the resin, not a problem for me as I’m upgrading so I have plenty but be aware that you’ll need to buy some before you start!
The only assembly required is to install the build plate and level it (a quite simple and easy task), then install the resin chamber and fill with resin. There is a “Max” level mark on the resin tank – a very handy addition and something that’s missing from the old Photon S, which sometimes could lead to accidental overfilling!
First impressions compared with the Photon S is that the build quality looks and feels much sturdier. The Photon S is mainly plastic in its construction, whereas the Mono X is metal; only the hood is plastic. Power supply, power switch and USB port are all mounted on the right-hand side of the printer, with the USB port mounted towards the front for easy access. Those familiar with Anycubic printers will be familiar with the touch screen operation, layout of the user interface and the setup options. What is included here is the option to connect to wifi, which I have yet to test – even if this is just to allow monitoring, it’s something I’ve not had as standard before from Anycubic, or indeed any of my previous 3D printers!
Slicing software is included on the USB flash drive, which although I’ve installed, I’ve chosen to stick with Chitubox, purely because it’s the slicing software I’m most familiar with and it fully supports the Mono X.
This being a mono screen, the exposure times are greatly reduced. This means that prints are far quicker than standard DLP printers. The light is from an LED array and the light spread is constant across the build plate. A problem with cheaper machines is that the light source is very central and uneven, which requires masking and careful placing when printing to be able to use the entire build plate. With the Photon S and the Mono X, the light is evenly spread so this issue is eliminated.
Print times when compared to the Photon S are notably faster, roughly twice as fast, which should reduce the wear on the screen as the exposure times are much less. As far as print quality goes, the results so far are on a par with the old Photon S – the same great detail but with the added bonus of a much bigger build volume.
In operation, the machine is louder than the Photon S; There appear to be two large fans mounted in the base and these produce the bulk of the noise, however, the noise is still not intrusive, and the machine is fully usable in my office while I work.
My biggest concern was the apparent lack of odour filtration; The Photon S has two fan-extracted charcoal cartridges behind the build plate in each corner and these drastically reduce the smell when printing (when compared to the Wanhao Duplicator 7 I had previously) There is no filtration system on the Mono X, however, the hood is sturdy and seals well, trapping the smells inside. As with any resin-based printer, it should be used in a well-ventilated area. After printing for several hours, there was no noticeable difference with the odour created by the Mono X vs the Photon S.
Overall, it is a well-built machine (as it should be for the price) and is a good compromise between the standard, smaller DLP printers and the larger volume FDM printers currently available. This machine gives you the ability to print larger items without sacrificing print quality and the mono screen technology means that you will be printing much faster than traditional DLP printers.
Definitely a worthwhile investment for me!

detailedReviews 10: content: Very impressed
Iv been 3D printing for around 4 years now with filament printers. I’ve been toying with the idea of resin really wish I had done it sooner.
Print quality is very clean plus not a lot of prep work to paint afterwards.
The build size for the money is massive. I print a lot of cosplay items for people and this is a really good upgrade from fdm printers.
Setup nice a quick very easy to get yourself printing right away, and the speed it prints items is fantastic. Would recommend the wash and cure station, will save you alot of time that will be my next purchase. Big thumbs up to this setup
Just remember resin is messy, so have plenty of paper towel and IPA to hand to wash and wipe down and keep everything clean, you look after it, it will look after you, is what I run with thank you.

detailedReviews 13: content: Does it work.. yes it does
It does what it should and without this machine I would not have even tried resin printing because of the mess.
This machine is so easy to use and takes away all of the clean up problems. It also means that curing time is cut down from hours to just a few minutes and can be done at night as well as in the daylight and all of this on one machine no messing about waiting for the sun or setting up a uv light and turntable this does it all.
If you are into resin printing or thinking about it this is the machine for you my only regret is not getting the larger version but that is my fault and not the wash and cure by Anycubic.
