It's easy to outline your lips and then quickly fill them in. It's matte, but it's creamy - yet long-lasting. I can eat and drink in this, and a little comes off, but not that much. It doesn't dry my lips out, but stays put, and ISN'T a liquid lipstick, which is kind of a holy grail for me. I plan on getting it in more shades, I just wish they had some really wild ones!

The second thing I noticed was that it felt creamy and soft on my lips and my lips did not feel dry or tight with this product. It had nice staying power and it stayed put for quite a while before any small bleeding occurred. It out performed other products for me in this area. It has a decent enough wear, but as its matte you may want to add a touch of hydration to prevent it from looking dry throughout your wear. I'm only giving it three stars because when I put it on initially, I had a very unpleasant burning sensation on my lips. It died down after about 30 seconds but I didn't like it at all. I've never experienced discomfort from a lipstick of any sort and so I'm not a fan of that. It could just be me that had a reaction to it, but just beware. For that reason, I am cautious to wear it and wouldn't repurchase, which is a shame because it's a pretty color.

I do tend to have dry lips this time of year and the masks intensify that, but I use lip scrubs and masks to keep my lips as fresh as possible. I just couldn't make this work for me.

But I love the shape it’s so easy to get a nice smooth outline on the lips with the tip of the pencil. Then use the flat side to fill in. I really like this deep red purple color. I just wish it was a touch more pigmented but that’s nothing another layer of product can’t fix.
