detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: My first purchase on MD Computers. It was an overall pleasant experience. Packaging was superb as you can see in the attached images. Bought the BX500 to replace the Original HDD in my 11 year old HP Pavilion DV6 Laptop with Windows 7. This new SSD in combination with a clean Win7 install without the HP OEM Bloatware has made the laptop stunnigly fast! It gives the read and write speeds very close to what it advetises. Everything loads very quickly. This SSD does not have a DRAM Cache so do not opt for this SSD if you know what DRAM cache is and its importance. Donot use this SSD as a backup drive either, stick to a good HDD. A 240GB version would have been sufficient for me tbh but hey, since the 500GB version was on sale, I just went ahead and bought it. (Purchase details: 8th August 2024 @ 2600 INR)
