You do have to wind it up (I noticed one reviewer not happy about that), but it's hardly an effort! Once fully wound, you're looking at 20-30 hours before the spring needs rewinding.Would definitely recommend, It's a full five star from me.

detailedReviews 9: content: 17日ぶりにようやく届きました写真の製品と異なる部分はレンズからプレート迄の奥行き感が写真程深みは無い後、プレートのデザイン感が大袈裟💦普通に金一色のデザインでした😳製品自体に特には目立った傷も(無く値段相応の仕上げだと思う。他のユーザーの方々のレビューを見て初回から動かないかな？とヒヤヒヤしてましたが🤔今の所無事にギヤは正常に動いている感じでホッっとしました😳まぁ〜個人的にこのロープライスで機械式ならそれだけでも充分価値が有るのかなと思えます。尚、ベルト調整は難無く簡単に出来ました。後は耐久性がいかほど？の物なのか経過を見て行く😳そもそも実用性重視で購入してないので観賞用としても充分楽しめそうです。このメーカーの時計は今後も購入したいと思えました👍 追記、一応商品到着から9日間ケースに入れた状態でゼンマイを定期的に巻き続けて居ますが、今の所何の不具合も無く動き続けてます。恐らく雑にガリガリと巻かない限り壊れないかな？って印象…🤔今の所そんな感じで良くよく別の商品も見てみると、内部のギアの仕組みが同じタイプの物もあったりと購入時にわかりやすい😳安価な物をなるべく壊さない様に使うのもそれはそれで面白かったり🤣壊れて修理に挑戦するのも楽しみの一つなのかなと思えた😊
