Your hand was almost horizontal to the desk when using it, which was not ergonomically comfortable. It took some effort to depress the button and after a while you could feel the tension in the fore finger and thumb. The click was similar to the base wired and wireless usb mouse and was not silent. I have a 5 year old wired mouse that has a softer click and the buttons are very easy to depress. Too smooth to the touch and was slippery when using it.

Plus, I mean, who wouldn't love aesthetics like that?
The only downside is the contact points on the bottom. Rather than opting for thick contact pads or some specifically chosen positions, this mouse opts for a thin rim around the whole bottom area. For my tastes, this is great, but if you are very particular about the contact pads on your mouse, it's worth keeping in mind.
