content: I was basically looking for a good walking shoe, with good sole cushioning and a soft forefoot--due to bunions and a hammertoe. I initially bought the navy pair on sale, in 1/2 size larger than my shoe size which I always do for sneakers, and loved them! Then Skechers notified me that the black ones were also on sale, so that's how I got my second pair. I also did not want a rugged sole--these are essentially flat, so I would not recommend these for extreme hiking! Not sure if I would run in these, but they definitely work for daily walks and travel!
