snippets: I hate airpods because of their lifespan how long airpods will last to depends entirely on their battery life if you use them carefully they will sound great but you'll have to buy a new pair in four to 5 years because the battery will die and believe me it will and there is no solution to this you can't fix or replace the battery, on the other hand I used earpods for 8 years before the cable broke so I had to replace them it happens earpods also aren't unlimited either but they last me twice as long and it's cheaper to buy a new pair, the last reason I think earpods are better than airpods is in case you think you might lose one of the earbuds a few of my friends regular lose one of it because they forget to put their airpods into the case

snippets: now you're probably wondering why why would anyone want to buy these well there are several reasons why you might want to still buy a pair of wired earbuds for example you may not be a supporter of true wireless earbuds because of its effect on the environment and the waste that goes into it and the longevity issues which we have covered on sound.com check that out after this or you're someone like me who can't depend on Bluetooth headphones for every task that comes up throughout the day for example I edit a lot of videos while I'm on the go and I also compose music both personally and professionally and when I'm working in Premiere Pro or even logic pro the latency associated with using Bluetooth headphones for monitoring my mixes definitely gets in the way, I definitely think that subbase sounds like Bas syns that go into the very low octaves get lost in a bit and I do lose a bit of the umph from the drums overall I'm not I'm not mad at it um these are these are impressive but then again I am listening to these earbuds in a very controlled environment I mean the studio is acoustically treated but if I were to go to the gym or to a cafe I'd have to turn up the music much higher in order to compensate for the amount of noise because this doesn't seem to have good isolation cuz there's no way to create a proper seal there's no ear tips but I'm curious to see how the Earp pods measured in our Labs so I'm going to actually just pull up the charts right now now here okay yeah so that it makes sense it actually looking at the chart quite a de emphasis in the kind of mid-base to base region and then everything below 100 HZ just basically rolls off which explains why I wasn't getting a lot of subbase when I was listening to Basse Heavy Music and looking at the response of the earpods it actually reminds me a lot of the frequency response of the airpods third generation the non-pro model it does look like the airpods does line up better in the mid frequencies than the earpods so you get a little bit more detail on some instruments like Synn pads or pianos
