detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I am writing this review 6 months after I received my order,I must say,this laptop is an absolute powerhouse for it's price,the RTX 3060 6GB 90W performs exceptionally well and the 165hz refresh rate is a total bang for a buck!
About gaming performance,it is class and a few more tweaks (that I'm gonna talk about below) can make this laptop even faster.I've played Forza Horizon 4 in this laptop and it gives around 115-130 fps,GTA 5 gives around 145 fps+ and Call of Duty WW2 (Game from 2017 but still quite graphics power demanding game) gave me 110fps (100+). While playing Counter Strike 2,it gave me a good 300 to 350fps with increase decrease going on.
Battery life at maximum is around 3-4 hours,sometimes it crosses 5 hours,(SOMETIMES) This performance may be bad because you cannot expect much battery life from a gaming laptop,but it's enough.
Daily productivity tasks are done all good,fast,and quick,no stutters,no lags.
Doing android studio coding and it's very smooth and the laptop BARELY heats!
Now,about the tweaks I talked about in the second paragraph-
First things first,please reset your laptop and install a fresh copy of windows from Microsoft servers while ofcourse selecting the keep your personal files option while reseting the laptop. I'm advising to reset and install a fresh copy of windows from Microsoft servers because the windows 11 software that comes pre-installed by Lenovo is very laggy,bugged and decreases your performance,doing as i suggested would improve your laptop by a large bar. BUT,you may have to activate windows because the Microsoft copy will be the free one,note that I'm saying YOU MAY NEED TO,and most of the times,you don't have to because the license from your laptop is activated.
Secondly,make sure to check and update your drivers and Windows OS after reset and fresh installation.
Third, to improve battery life,you may enable the conservation mode in Lenovo vantage app which limits battery charge to 60% only in order to increase the life span of the laptop battery as laptop battery's age with time and get weaker and older. This mode can also improve the overall battery performance of your laptop.
Fourth,this laptop has NO MUX SWITCH,so you get the benifits of Nvidia display features ONLY WHEN GAMING and not on normal usage,but the display is still good and AMD does a decent job!
Doing the steps that i recommended will definitely improve your laptop experience by a huge margin!
In Conclusion,you can definitely go for this laptop as it's awesome and powerful but as time goes, better laptops may come out at this price range,but for now,this is the best one!
