detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: Overall this is a good phone but, in my opinion, not a good buy.
Been able to read clearly and easy is a most and the only reason I bough the Z Fold 6. Having a phone with the posibility of turning into a tablet was a very good selling point and why I sold myself into the Z Fold 6.
I figure that, with years of experience and a few models sold before this one, by now, Samsung WOULD had heard about early complaints and suggestions of buyers of the previous models of the Z- Fold, and fine tune it to be a marvelous of engendering however, the phone is far from that and what I expected to be for the following reasons:
1- The battery life is a joke, just writing this review, in the day time and while been inside, the phone consumed the top 10% of its charge.
2- This phone will feel very heavy when using with just one hand however, it will fit easily on most packets when closed.
3- The top screen has an incredible high resolution and it looks great however, for someone like me, the text within are hard to read. Yes, you can argue that I can use the big foldable screen at all times to correct the above mentioned statement but, in that case, the battery will run out much faster and I will put a lot of stress on the folded screen and hinge plus I will also need to use both hands must of the time.
4- The top screen is way too narrow to fit todays website standards and so, they look crowder or you will have to move the screen from side to side to see it all. I beleive that a 2 or 3 millimeters wider will have been perfect.
5- The front faxing camera, for todays standards, its mediocre. The fact that it is a wide angle lens is great for a group selfies however, it's horrible when taking one of yourself. Also, when taking pictures at a low ambiance light, the pictures come out with low quality and undesirable effects like granulated pixels. For the price we are paying for this phone, Samsung should had included 2 front facing lenses (like one F38 plus the wide angle one) to acomodate every possibility.
6- The folded screen by far is the best feature and the center of attention of everyone, aside for been the reason I bought this phone. You won't notice the folding crest at all and Samsung has gone over and beyond to make sure you don't.
7- The sound, al though not too loud, is very good and give you options like "Dolby Atmos" something new to me in a cellular phone.
8- Unlike Samsung's unfoldable form factor phones, this phone is not waterproof not completely dust proof so, I recommend you protect your investment by buying an using a protector cover that includes hinge protection at all times. Don't take a chance !!!.
The Z fold format was not my only choice of foldable phones. They are other brands that make similar phones but, at least for now, Samsung is the only phone I will buy, other brands are not interested to me.
I am happy with the big screen and also of having 2 separate screens on the same phone, just in case one of them break, I will still be able to access my phone and data on the other one.
I hope I clear some of your questions and find this review helpful.

title: Overall this is a good phone but, in...
detailedReviews 2: content: I have been a using a Fold 4 for about a year, so am approaching the Fold 6 as an upgraded foldable rather than a new experience.
The inter-generation changes aren’t very big on their own, but together they are moving towards a product that is easier to recommend as a phone for more people, with fewer compromises.
There will always be engineering problems inherent to foldables, but they are getting away from “this is a weird device that you have to baby all the time, only used by early tech adopters” and towards “more people could use this”.
With other companies now joining the market, it’s not just Samsung iterating on the original Fold on its own. This competition is causing Samsung to have to adapt (although it could do with fighting harder on the price…), but the alternatives allowing people to experiment with what format a foldable should take. Samsung is still a bit narrower than its rivals, making it a bit easier to use in one hand, but wider than previous generations is an improvement.
Pros:
Every little thing has got a small improvement – better speakers, brighter screens, clearer cameras, etc. More power is always helpful, and the battery seems to have improved, even if it’s not actually any bigger in capacity.
The screen now closes flush, no longer creating a dust trap between the screens when folded.
A wider front screen means more usable space in folded mode.
The phone is thinner and lighter, therefore moving away from the point of “a bit thicker when closed, but not huge”, although still noticeable.
The physical changes (wider, thinner and flat) make the phone more normal and pocketable when closed.
Medium:
The wider front screen means the front screen is more usable for video, but it means the inside screen just has more black bars for most media content.
While everyone is trying to market their new phone upgrades on new AI features, these are all currently between “nice to have” and “utter gimmick”, with nothing yet reaching the level that is promised.
The pen is nice, but it would be nice if it could come with the phone (if sold as one of the features) and have a way to attach to the phone without the specific S Pen Case.
Cons:
While the squarer edges create more usable space, they are also sharper using the phone, digging into your palm.
25w charging in 2024 is a bit slow, even compared to Samsung’s own 45w S24 Ultra.
For now foldables are still at a price/fragility point that it feels that a case is always needed.

detailedReviews 3: content: When I purchased my z-fold six through pre-order, I got T-Mobile's best deal which was get a free storage upgrade on us at the price of the base model. So I got the 512 GB variant in the navy blue. The phone has been real great amazing. I've done many things on it with the S-Pen. I really like the selfie feature that allows you to take a selfie with the back camera using the cover display the optimization of apps on one UI have been glorious me amazing and it has never failed on me. But do I regret my decision? There is times where I do because I gave up an amazing camera on the s23 ultra for a camera that underperforms in many occasions and when it comes to low light due to the sensor not being that big it really doesn't take amazing pictures. Then I watched my favorite YouTubers video On the Google event where he focused mostly on Google's new foldable Michael Fisher Mr. Mobile and I realized that I should have waited until my local Best Buy had a Google pixel 9 Pro fold on display so I could have gone to play with it and make my purchasing decision right there because in the hardware department the 9 Pro full makes more sense to me because it has a regular candy bar style cover display. It has the biggest folding display in the United States Market at 8 inchesEven though it doesn't have sharp beautiful corners like the Z fold six and it has aggressively rounded corners and what some people call an ugly side chin by the hinge that is there by Design to complement the inner big display Samsung has gotten to complacent with their design and are becoming the new Apple with not that many changes that justify upgrading to a new fold every year. Do I love my Z fold six? Yes, I do. But at this point I'm too late. I have to finish paying half of my device and then upgrade to another device and I will be going with Google. Like I said earlier they're folding device makes more sense to me. It's thinner the thinnest device in the US market and the way they redesigned their Hardware, even though the corners are aggressively rounded. It looks amazing with the regular sized candy bar style cover display.

detailedReviews 4: content: I've had the Fold 3 for 3 years now and it was getting about time that I looked at an upgrade and the Fold 6 seemed to tick a lot of those boxes. The cover screen is larger than before, which I no longer struggle with typing on with my larger fingers. The cameras are improved, though as I understand it they haven't improved much in comparison the the newer Fold 4 and 5.
Battery life so far has been great. I have run the phone in battery protection mode, which limits the phone to 80% to improve the lifespan of the batteries, and I have yet to have a day where I need to charge before sleeping.
Brightness is a huge point on this device, it gets up to 2700 nits which is a huge upgrade over the original Fold 3 i have. It makes movies/shows pop and allows using it outside to be much easier.
Performance on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is also great, whilst I didn't have complaints about the Fold 3, comparing them side by side you can definitely feel the improvement and everything just feels smoother in general.
Feel in the hand! This is a hard one to describe in a review but the feel of this device is so much more robust and premium feeling. You really have to hold it to understand but you won't be disappointed. The weight is also not too much, though I have never really cared about the weight of a device, I'd prefer larger the better.
With regards to improvements, it does feel like Samsung are taking the refinement rather than innovation approach. I hope the Fold 7 takes the next step up, especially with how other foldables are progressing.
Screen size could be better, the form factor is great but I'd like to see a larger inside display. Whilst the cover screen is totally usable, I'd love to see it another 5-10mm wider and that would translate to a larger inner screen too, after all your buying this device for the screen real estate so the more the better.
I would love to see the s-pen supported on the cover screen, if I need to take some quick notes on the fly it would be more convenient, though I do totally get why they have gone the route of the inner screen only.
Other than that, it's a great device that anyone either looking to upgrade from earlier Folds (I would wait a year if you already have the Fold 5) or looking to get into the market would enjoy greatly.

title: I've had the Fold 3 for 3 years...
detailedReviews 5: content: I have owned this phone for about 6 months now and I can say it is surprisingly durable and very well made. I used it for the first month without a case on it and it is honeslty not much thicker than a normal phone. It is definitely noticeably thicker once you ad the case as it is technically adding the thickness of 2 cases when it is closed.
When looking into this phone I saw some people saying the outside screen being narrower than a normal phone is a negative but I honestly dont notice much of a difference. In fact, I probably uses the outside screen 2/3 of the time and the slightly narrow frame makes it a little easier to wield 1 handed. An added benefit of using the outside screen most of the time is the fact that my battery life is insane since there are 2 batteries in this phone.
The very first thing that blew me away about this phone was the call clarity (Crazy right? A phone that makes good phone calls!?) My wife and I said almost the exact same thing in unison the first time I called her "woah, this call sounds so clear!" I came from a Samsung Note 10 in case that gives anybody a reference of quality. With this, I also seem to find that my reception is slightly better in remote areas (I no longer drop phone calls on a road I used to drop them on every trip, worst case they get robotic sounding for about 30 seconds).
This phone has been great for watching videos, browsing the web, playing games, multi-tasking with the split screen option, and sketching out plans (with an S Pen I purchased separately).
My only real negative about this phone is the fact it was over $2000. I was very fortunate as I went in and got it for $400 off on sale and they happened to have an open box of the model I wanted which took another $300 or so off of it. I was as happy as you can be paying $1300 for a phone (haha).
The price and the fact I don't know how practical this much phone really is are really the only reasons I didn't give it a full 5 star review (maybe like 4.5). If I find this phone to last without problems I would be tempted to change my rating to a 5 star.

detailedReviews 6: content: Before I purchased my Galaxy Z Fold6, I was a bit nervous with all the mixed reviews of foldables. I decided to get an older model flip and see if I would adjust to and also like the whole foldable device thing, but after a few days of use, I absolutely loved everything about foldables, and I purchased my Galaxy Z Fold6. The Galaxy Z Fold6 is a powerhouse packed with pretty much everything, including the kitchen sink. It is a pleasure to explore the innovative features of this device. The advanced AI capabilities truly enhance the user experience, streamlining various tasks efficiently. Furthermore, the different modes offer a versatile range of customization options for any activity. Additionally, the routines feature provides convenience by automating daily processes, making it very easy to use. Overall, the device stands out with its intelligent design and user-friendly interface. I'm also a huge fan of the privacy focus put into it. Don't even get me started on movie watching or show binging on the inner display, and gaming on its huge inner display backed with the processing power; it's just phenomenal. I can also say with 100 percent certainty that the Galaxy Z Fold6 is built to handle everyday life without even breaking a sweat. I can assure you from personal experience it's much sturdier than some have said it to be. In short, purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold6 has easily been one of my best mobile device decisions I've made. It's everything one can ask and also wish for.

detailedReviews 7: content: From the moment I took the Fold 6 out of the box it felt very special. With the hinge, initially I was worried that it would be something I'd have to handle in a very light manner, but after a short amount of time using the phone I realised how sturdy and well designed it is. It's thicker than my old phone but not as wide so it doesn't feel bulky given what you're able to do with that massive screen.
Really easy to set it up. I just used the Smart Switch app that is already installed, and used that with my S22 Ultra that I was coming over from. Sat the phones next to each other for an hour and everything was transferred and ready to go after putting my old sim card into the phone.
One thing you have to get used to is the smaller width of the phone. For the outside screen it's noticeably narrower and the text and icons are also smaller depending on how you configure fonts and screen sizes. There's less space to type on as well so this "mode" of the phone is best for when you want to quickly use it.
The real big event is when I open up the phone to use that massive folding screen. It's really next level stuff, and makes all the things I'm used to doing on my phone more enjoyable. Videos are bigger and better, I can see more text on the screen when I'm reading Twitter and having a bigger on screen keyboard makes typing more accurate as well. It's ultra bright as well and I can turn it down really low to 20-30% to use indoors. Having a folding screen really is a whole new way to experience a phone and being able to start on the single screen and then just flip it open to continue with double the screen size, is really enjoyable.
The AI features that you don't get on other devices are really fun as well. My kids love it when mum draws a picture using the notes app and then it transforms after a few seconds into a 3D cartoon or sketch. Even my absolutely terrible scribbles can be turned into really presentable images. I can run the same AI features on my existing photos and generate AI portraits, or enhance and move things to get them perfect.
It's been really easy to go from a "normal" phone to a folding one, and it's hard to imagine going back to something smaller now. The AI enhancements are a cherry on top to make things more useful than ever for my day to day life.

detailedReviews 8: content: I've been on iPhone for years and just made the switch. I had every bit of Apple's ecosystem that one could own. That being said, now that Apple was finally FORCED to adopt RCS, which means iPhones and Androids can now text each other pictures and videos without it looking terrible, and the other perks like read receipts and putting a heart or thumbs up on a text work properly, I decided to finally make the jump. Switching was not as painful as I feared. I am extremely meticulous and organized and moved absolutely everything. There was maybe a week of randomly taking on different chunks to move (pictures, old text messages, passwords, downloading and logging into every app I previously had, etc) and by the end I had every single thing perfectly organized and set up on my new Samsung Galaxy Fold 6. I absolutely LOVE the customization and the massive screen. From videos to work documents to web browsing to doom scrolling to emails, every single thing is better on this phone. The one thing I will give Apple is that if you are comparing the camera on this to the latest iPhone then they take a win by a slight margin, but this still has cameras just as good as maybe two generations back for Samsung S series and iPhone Pros, and far superior to what anyone looking past a spec sheet would care about or notice. Not to mention it has the absolute best in class camera for selfies since you can use the main cameras and front screen for any selfie action! I originally kept my old iPhone to use alongside this one, but after a couple weeks I moved both SIMs into this one and haven't looked back. After this, I took the plunge on the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Buds Pro 3, and Smart Tags to complete the ecosystem. I am absolutely LOVING it.

detailedReviews 9: content: I've got to say, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is one impressive device. As someone who's always on the go, I appreciate the sleek design and durable build. The phone's dimensions are surprisingly compact, measuring 12.1mm thick when folded and 5.6mm when unfolded. It's also remarkably lightweight at 239g, making it easy to toss into a bag or pocket.
The displays on this phone are truly stunning. The 6.3-inch cover display is perfect for everyday use, while the 7.6-inch main display is ideal for watching videos, browsing photos, or getting some work done. I love how bright and vibrant the main display is, with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
In terms of performance, this phone delivers. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and up to 12GB of RAM make it a powerhouse that's perfect for gaming, multitasking, and demanding users like myself. I've noticed that the vapor chamber cooling system does a great job of preventing overheating, even during intense usage.
The camera setup is solid, if not spectacular. The 50MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and 10MP telephoto lens take good photos in various lighting conditions. I've been using the ultra-wide camera a lot lately, and I'm impressed with the results.
Battery life is decent, but I'd love to see some improvements. The 4,400mAh battery lasts me a good day, but heavy users may need to charge it every night. The 25W charging speed is a bit slow compared to some other devices, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.
What really set

detailedReviews 10: content: I am a Mobile Gamer. The Fold Series from Samsung are Constantly Evolving and Improving. I upgraded from the 4 to the 6 and I will definitely be upgrading to the 7. The 7 will be the game changer 8 inch bigger inner screen, 200mp camera, titanium hinge, slimmer profile which will lower the weight. Once you own the Fold its impossible to go back to the typical smartphone form factor. You appreciate the screen size when indulging in all your apps. Being able to run 3 apps at the same time is awesome. AI is fun to play around with pictures. My Fold 6's primary use is work, music, and gaming with some occasional shopping on Amazon or FB marketplace.
If your wondering what game its Mobile Legends Bang Bang US.
The only improvements I would suggest for future models would be a second usb-c port on the non screen side for gaming with no cord impeeding my grip, 65 watt charge speed, 6k battery mah, and lastly 2 accessories a cooling unit for Gamers that can attach to keep the phone cold on extensive gaming sessions and a mini projector like Motorola had made for their modular phone years back as having a 20,30 or 40 inch mini projector would be really cool. Lastly Colors I want the Gold that China gets, or a Cyberpunk Transparent variant. The Fold is money well spent, how often do u say that in your life? That's my experience owning a Samsung Folding Smartphone. Hope this was helpful for anyone on the fence and for Samsung for future upgrades.

detailedReviews 12: content: The Samsung Z Fold 5 represents both the pinnacle and the growing pains of foldable technology. As a veteran user who's owned the Fold 3, 4, and now 5, I've witnessed firsthand the evolution of the Z fold series. While each iteration brought improvements, my journey hasn't been without its challenges.
The seamless action across apps and the wow-factor people have when they see it open it keeps me loyalto the design. The Fold 5 finally feels robust enough to survive daily use, though lingering quality concerns make me cautious. My previous models each succumbed to different issues - from screen cracks after drops to digitizer failures and hinge problems due to dust accumulation. Even had a 5G antenna failure and the front acreen go dark on the 5. While Samsung's warranty service was reliable, the inconvenience of using backup devices during repairs was frustrating.
What keeps me coming back? The Fold series has effectively replaced multiple devices in my life. It serves as my phone, tablet, Kindle, and even a laptop replacement for short business trips. Paired with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, it's a surprisingly capable mobile workstation. Coming from a Pixel, adapting to Samsung's UI took time, but now I'm fully invested in the ecosystem.
I'm holding out for the Fold 7, hoping for more substantial innovations. Despite its imperfections, this device category keeps improving and perhaps the 7 will finally be perfect.

detailedReviews 13: content: Nearly everything about this phone is incomparable to a slab phone experience. The outer display is the perfect size for one hand usage for things such as texting, phone calls, and scrolling social media. The inner display is perfect for consuming media, reading books and articles, playing mobile games, and the multi-tasking on the go is unlike anything ive ever had when you consider the portability of the device. When you pair it with the pen sketching and note taking are extremely easy and enjoyable. Galaxy AI is extremely helpful with day to day tasks to the point that i couldnt imagine life without it at this point. Moving on to my biggest skepticism before making the transition to the fold 6: concerns about durability. I was extremely nervous about the durability of a phone with this many moving parts, but my worries were entirely eliminated when i was involved in a terrible car accident that put me into the hospital. I was certain that there was no way my phone was unscathed following the incident. Words cant describe how happy i was to find out that my phone not only survived, but came out of the situation with not a single scratch or crack anywhere on it. It had nothing more than a cheap plastic third-party case on it. With everything i was dealing with during that time it was significant that i did not have to concern myself with repairing or replacing a phone. My only gripes with it are the battery life can be lackluster & the thickness when folded with a case.

detailedReviews 14: content: I've had the Z Fold 5 for a little over a year now and overall have loved the experience. This is my first foldable device and I love the extra screen real-estate for streaming, gaming and multitasking. The seamless actions across apps and screens makes for a smooth experience when switching between them. Both displays are responsive and the crease generally disappears when bigger screen is in use. Build quality is very good, after numerous folds and drops, the phone still functions great. The integration with the other products in the galaxy line is pretty good. I use the S pen, galaxy buds pro, and galaxy watch with this device and all are functional. My main gripes with the accessories mainly stem from the S pen. I wish there was a slot in the phone for the S pen, but understand the need to save space, and I wish that it was functional on both displays. My main gripes with the phone itself is that it is quite thick in its folded state and would like to see that measurement get slimmer with newer iterations. Also, I wish the outer display was slightly wider. It can sometimes be difficult to type two handed with such a narrow display. I know there were minor improvements in these departments for the Z Fold 6, but wish to see it further developed before purchasing a new one. Lastly, I would love to see the flagship cameras implemented in the Fold series as well as a larger battery if possible while saving space. Overall, it is a great device and the new AI features are a hit!

detailedReviews 15: content: I basically use my Zfold 6 to do everything that I used to do on my desktop computer and more. I also Love the Galaxy AI features to do things that I previously couldn't dream of doing like have instant access to any questions that I encounter in my daily life! I also enjoy the jealousy it causes whenever I pull my phone out and open it! It seems everyone loves to see my phone and immediately start asking questions about it? Little do they know that they could have all their questions answered just like I do by engaging with the Galaxy AI features whenever they want? So now I will be the first in line whenever the new model is released? Having the power of my desktop in my hand along with the ability to work on a screen that has double the real-estate that a regular smartphone has is a HUGE benefit and will always keep me at the head of the technological pack wherever I might go? I am also blown away by the Camera for its ability to capture all of my memories no matter how much I keep recording, and with plenty of storage my memories will always have room for more! I can also zoom into my recordings along with capturing crystal clear audio wherever my device leads me! And with its spot on GPS function, it keeps on leading me on with razor sharp precision! I cannot speak higher of any other device! And I will forever remain an Android user because of Samsung! So if you want to be at the front of the pack like me, then there is no need for any other device besides a ZFOLD 6!

detailedReviews 16: content: My ZFOLD6 has literally changed my life in every way for the better. I've always been a techie, carting around a laptop or tablet as well as a phone.
Now, my ZFOLD6 fulfills (within this one, compact device) all of the needs I once required 2 or 3 devices on me at a time to maintain the same capabilities!
It performs amazingly as a phone, with clear calls and a strong connection. This holds true whether it is a voice or video call!
If I want to stream something, I just unfold it for the tablet-esque enlarged viewing screen. Also, I occasionally find myself unsure on what to stream next, but now that I have the ZFOLD6, I need only request help from the new Galaxy AI, and am always watching something new within minutes and have yet to be disappointed, as the AI is incredibly intuitive. In fact, it seems to become much more so when relied on more and more. I find it has now learned my intent behind requests when im not even sure what exactly im asking for (or why, lol)... honestly, I dont know how I ever got along without it and managed to actually get ANYTHING DONE, lol. The AI helps so much and streamlines processes, drastically reducing the time I previously, begrudgingly dedicated to things like setup or searching.
Finally, the ZFOLD6 has basically replaced my laptop as well. Using Dex, which emulates a PC desktop in every way necessary!
I would need hours longer and pages and pages more to describe the multitude of benefits of this phone/tablet/pc/camera/assistant!

title: My ZFOLD6 has literally changed my life in...
detailedReviews 17: content: There was a time, not long ago I thought "the bigger the phone screen, the better!" Well gone are them days, for sure! Once you get your hands on the latest (as of the time of this review was Z Flip 6) Samsung Z Flip 6, before I even talk about any of the specifications &/or features, my favorite thing above all is the compact design when the Z Flip 6 is "closed". Its so small, sleek, & compact i can slide in either of my front pockets in my Levi's or either back pocket, without 2 or 3 inches of phone sticking out of my pocket! My line of work (Industrial Maintenance Tech/Diesel Tech/Millwright) can be & is most days, very rough on phones (from banging up against things, dropping the device its self, climbing/laying on it in my back pocket, using my phone with hydraulic fluid, Grease, Diesel/Gasoline, dirt/grime, oil, etc on my hand(s), simply put, what i do for a living can & has cracked/shattered the glass on more phones than I would like to admit, Samsung S24 Ultra, Google Pixel 7 Pro, Google Pixel 8 Pro, S25 Ultra, & even my Samsung Watch 7 Ultra. With the Z Flip line you can simply put a Tempered Glass Protector on the almost 4" outter Screen, face the screen towards your body and I can do my duties and not even think about my phone. The 4" Outter screen pretty much is capable of running every app just as it would on the inner screen (Maps, Spotify, Facebook, etc...). Camera lacks compared to S series, but im okay with giving up a little to gain alot! 👍Galaxy AI also!

detailedReviews 18: content: The Z Fold 6 is my second foldable after the 5 I have owned and it has, in my opinion, been the quintessential experience of what a foldable should be; that being durable, tested hardware with useful and seamless software capable of taking advantage of that hardware.
One being the compatibility with almost every app one could use and creating meaningful use of the form-factor. Albeit, this is just a minor benefit compared with the software features released in Samsung's latest model. The integration of useful AI features takes the foldable experience to the next level. I personally use photo editing tools like the 'Sketch to Image' and Galaxy AI Image eraser tools to correct quickly taken photos. I also enjoy using the S-Pen to try making sketching every once in a while as well.
As for the phone itself it has given me more processing power than anything I could throw at it when I'm playing games or watching content…mainly Netflix and YouTube which take grat advantage of the main display.
Camera quality is excellent as well. Comparing new photos with my older ones taken on previous Samsung devices shows the combination of software and hardware working together in concert. From a quick snapshot to a more thoughfully planned out photo or video...quality and ease-of-use mark high for the Fold 6.
Overall, a great form factor for people that love all the features Samsung devices have to offer!

detailedReviews 19: content: This has been the best phone I have ever owned! I've always been a huge fan of Samsung products but this one definitely takes the cake for me. If you download an app on your phone called smart lock you can customize your phone and do anythjng, you can add apps to use on the front of your screen, you can set your keyboard up exactly the way you want if you have fat thumbs like me lol you can customize the layout and colors, the sensitivity, the way your apps appears on your screen when you get notifications. You can set this up to be used just like a mini computer. You can have as many apps open on the screen at the same time and use it all with your screen. The Samsung features for this phone is top notch, there's so many features you can explore like setting up your device to be more healthy, you can track your steps, you can manage your your health, you can connect all your locks for your home your light's ect, to control with your phone. The camera is top notch quality and the night photos you can take with this phone are just extraordinary. The flip phone also fits conveniently into my pocket. As a woman I appreciate being able to fold my phone and safely place it in my pockets without having to worry about my phone falling out of your pocket. You can wear the phone around your neck with a phone case and lanyard. Or attach it to your purse. This phone is Surprisingly durable and you can fold it and use it as a mini laptop. 10 out of 10.

detailedReviews 20: content: Well I do love the fold and have done since they arrived into the world. The gold 6 i feel is a beautiful phone and I super love the slice lines, the presentation of the new device and the colours. The AI function is quite extraordinary and I'm slowly getting used to it and the new dynamics of the phone.
While I feel this way about the fold 6 and highly recommend to anybody and sadly after the fold series will never go back to a standard phone there are a couple of small flaws.
Samsung is a massive multi national company and brand and have spent hundreds of millions of dollars into the products development and fail upon a couple of apps. All I can say is OMG samsung OMG 😲.
Firstly, after registering with samsung wallet in 2017 I've never had any issues until the fold 6. I simply can't use the wallet and no matter how many phone calls to the bank, to samsung and numerous emails the wallet i don't use any more. I now use google wallet. It has way more features and loads up straight away and doesn't give me grief saying that my cards are no longer available on wallet without card holder approval and my bank has approved numerous times. Secondly the samsung message system is just garbage. I now use google as the features are far superior and more of an abundance of styles that samsung just doesn't offer.
Everything else i have no issues with but I do find it sad and frustrating that you can spend 3K on a device just to use google apps as they're way more user friendly and packed with features that samsung just doesn't offer.
If samsung doesn't improve or impress me and google is heading the way it is i have no issue to change to a google phone. Give the customers what they want not what you think they need.

title: Well I do love the fold and have...
detailedReviews 21: content: I live my Zflip6 and the smoothness of the OS overall but it overheated at soon as I turned it on to set it up right out of the box. The cover screen takes multiple power button clicks to turn on when folded which is extremely frustrating for such an expensive and brand new phone. The phone speakers are AMAZING quality in comparison to past Galaxy phones and feel like you have a literal speaker next to you rather than just a phone. The Galaxy AI feature and updated translation features are extremely useful and have helped a lot with my communication style as I struggle with anxiety and Spanish interpreting at times. The folding and screen minimization features are very useful when cooking or following a tutorial for something at any given time. Even when wanting to watch something during a work lunch so you don't have to prop it up against something or worry about it falling! The back camera quality is AMAZINGGGGG and feels like I'm recording with a separate professional film/photography camera rather than just a phone. However, the back camera could use TONS of improvements to quality, feel, color grading, and grainess. I also wish a 20x zoom option was available like on Galaxies instead of only 10x like on the old S10e. It's a downer in the filming experience and doesn't make videos high quality from a distance either which us dissapointing. So far I have no other complaints. I randomly got a message that my phone had no SIM but it went away quickly so that's another thing.

detailedReviews 22: content: The Galaxy Z Fold6 is the most refined foldable yet. The build quality is premium, the hinge feels more solid, and the overall experience is smoother than ever. The outer display is easier to use one-handed, and the inner screen offers a tablet-like experience that's perfect for multitasking and productivity.
What really takes this device to the next level is Galaxy AI. The built-in AI tools are genuinely useful and well-integrated. Features like Live Translate let you have real-time voice or text conversations in different languages right from the call screen or messaging apps. Note Assist summarizes long notes or formats them neatly, making it easy to stay organized. With Chat Assist, tone suggestions help you rewrite messages to sound more professional, friendly, or clear—especially useful for emails or work communication.
Even browsing and productivity are smarter now, thanks to features like Circle to Search with Google, which lets you instantly search anything on your screen without leaving your current app.
Battery life is reliable, performance is fast and fluid, and the software feels polished. Samsung continues to push the boundaries, and Galaxy AI brings real everyday value to the foldable experience.

detailedReviews 23: content: The Z fold 6 does a nice job of giving you something unique from your traditional smart phone. The crease on the interior screen is noticeable, but I would say subtle when you are viewing content or playing a game. Even with the reduced battery life I am still able to get through the day with roughly 30% left at the end of the day. The screens are sharp, content is crisp, and reading books with the square interior screen is a great use for this phone.
Now for the items I think can improve. The outside screen does not use a standard mobile aspect ratio. So certain websites do not resize appropriately and cut off texts and images, and you can not view them without opening the phone. Another aspect ratio problem is certain games do not resize to fit the inside screen they just stretch. For example raid shadow legends has consistently had this problem. But games like zenless zone zero make use of the screen size very well.
Another item I would like is to mimize the bulk of the phone. The weight I think is fine, but if you have shallow pockets or tight pockets it will be a struggle to store this phone with a case.
Finally the cameras and software updates.
Cameras: I'm a little disappointed that it does not have sensors closer to the much cheaper ultra models. Some photos noticeably lack long range clarity.
Software updates: In my experience the S series are treated like the real flagship devices when it comes to updates. Still waiting for the Ui 7 beta.

detailedReviews 24: content: The Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 has become my all-in-one device for streaming, gaming, work, school, and more, especially with the power of Galaxy AI. The 7.6-inch AMOLED display makes watching movies or streaming shows feel immersive, while Galaxy AI optimizes my multitasking experience, adjusting the screen layout to help me manage tasks like replying to emails or editing documents with ease. In gaming, the AI fine-tunes performance, automatically adjusting the refresh rate and resolution to keep everything running smoothly, even with high-graphic titles. Whether I'm working, studying, or tracking fitness goals, Galaxy AI adapts to my needs, learning my habits and streamlining app performance for faster, more efficient use. When I’m snapping photos or recording content, the AI enhances my shots in real-time, adjusting settings like exposure and contrast based on what I’m capturing. Plus, its smart battery optimizations ensure I get the most out of my device throughout the day, so I don’t have to worry about charging as often. The foldable design gives me the best of both worlds: a pocket-sized phone that opens up into a tablet-like experience, with Galaxy AI working behind the scenes to make my whole experience smoother and more intuitive. It’s the ultimate tool for my multitasking life.

detailedReviews 25: content: I have had my Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 for right at a year now and have only been able to use it for half of the time, literally. Overall I would probably give a 5 out of 10 because it has a lot of great features but also has some flaws in my experience I love the camera, the Galaxy AI assistance, the gaming quality and enhancements, and I absolutely love circle to search. I love chatting with Gemini, and also always curious to see what Gemini comes up with when editing photos. I also am pretty proud of some of the photographs that I have taken with the cameras, especially the nightshots of the sky. With a little tweaking of the different resolutions, filters, styles, and modes I can see great detail in the moon, like that good! It also has an amazing night vision which makes it look like day time in the photos. What i really didn't like was when my innerscreen stopped working and I could only use the flex windows on the outter part of the phone it is very limited in what you can get to or do on the phone to even try to troubleshoot on your own. Most of the apps when trying to open want you to open the phone to access what you are looking for but you obviously can't, there is no way to get to phone settings at all, and you can even open things from notifications. Most of the apps you can't even get to along with any kind of browser. Among other things. I think that there should at least be a shortcut to phone settings from there. I am kinda between torn bad or good equally

detailedReviews 26: content: This design is sublime compared to last years samsung z fold 5 I have to say the solid squared shape given to the corners of the phone make it look and feel more like a normal phone. When folded something I did notice is that the hinge is barely noticeable! The grab is much better on my opinion the new measures when unfolded feels much more comfortable to grab. The previous fold versions were slightly difficult to adjust specially for gaming, now this is solved it is as if the fold 6 was perfectly made for it!
The cameras doesn't have much of an upgrade regardless the focus is better and has more options.
The processor gen 3 snapdragon is notoriously better the performance way much more smoother. The feeling when having the phone folded is almost as a regular phone which is a really good upgrade. The gap when folded is not visible at all with this model (yes the z fold 5 had indeed a flat look at fold but the z fold 6 made it perfect. The new design has borders on the screen that close perfectly not letting a single gap be seen so when the phone is folded people would rarely notice is a fold.
I love the new colour options specially navy blue and the white version was an amazing add for samsung users innovative for a shape on the phone colour options.
Overall after using z fold series since z fold 2 I can say the upgrade is definitely worth it!
And for future versions upcoming I would suggest to get a pen slot since so many people wants one from what I have seen on the reviews!

detailedReviews 27: content: First and foremost, I am a Samsung lover - the majority of my appliances and all of my phones and tvs are Samsung products. I have also been a lover of Samsung's large phone series, beginning with the Note3, so I have knowledge, loyalty, and hope for the brand. The Fold5 I own is wonderful and a real workhorse across multiple applications. I have had zero OS or computing issues, with plenty of power to multi-task or binge. That said, while a great phone overall, the Fold series needs work and is in danger of being outpaced in the market. My crease is very noticeable and has become a touchscreen challenge when not using the SPen. It seems the 6 has carried on the same issue, and that is where my concern comes in. There are brands coming out with folding phones that are lighter in weight and have eliminated the crease issue on the inner screen. While others who don't use the phone may think this is petty or a "what did you expect" issue, for Fold owners it is a big deal. I have had to use my pen to edit this review due to the decreased sensitivity and precision from the crease. If the Fold7 or 8 (whatever the next in the series is) can fix this issue and come up to par with the market then I will happily stay a Fold user and advocate. But this is the first time in years that I considered a different brand. For now, I will grin and bear it, and enjoy the other high quality features the Fold series offers.
Here's to hoping things improve!

title: First and foremost, I am a Samsung lover...
detailedReviews 28: content: I primarily use my device for entertainment and work tasks. The overall size of the main screen makes it great as a miniature tablet, with enough room to comfortably take advantage of multi-app windows and facilitate workflows where I need to stay physically mobile. The middle crease is less noticeable than prior iterations of the device and your eyes will adapt to its presence within a short time. Galaxy AI is also a nifty feature on the main screen, as I can utilize the S Pen in conjunction with Galaxy AI to quickly research or screen grab items for customers. The included Interpreter also makes it much easier to hold conversations with customers who don't natively speak English.
There are two notable items I would like to see improvement on. The first is adjusting the screen ratio. The phone is very boxy when unfolded compared to the standard 16:9 ratio of most phones. This causes users to either watch media at normal size with big black bars or go full screen and chop off parts of the content along the sides, which diminishes the benefit of a large book-style foldable. The other item is a built-in S Pen. While the current format is fine, this phone would be noticeably smoother to operate with a slimmer S Pen sitting in its own internal housing; most of the case options that accommodate the bigger S Pen feel clunky and bulky.

detailedReviews 29: content: I bought the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 on the release day, and I must say this is the best phone I have ever owned! I need a powerful feature rich phone for business and every feature of this device has exceeded my expectations, and it truly feels like I’m holding the future in my hands.
The foldable design is the game-changer. The transition between the outer screen to the inner display is buttery smooth, and it opens up a world of possibilities for multitasking. I can easily run multiple apps side by side without any lag, making productivity on the go a breeze. The smooth edges of the phone now is also definite improvement. The previous model was more rounded, which made it feel bulkier and and heavy. The Fold 6 feels much lighter and thinner in the hand.
The display quality is stunning. Whether I'm watching videos, reading, running high end business apps, the colours are vibrant, and the details are crisp. The inner screen is immersive, and is like having a tablet in my pocket!
Samsung has really nailed it with the hinge mechanism. 100x better than previous models. It feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence that the Fold 6 will stand the test of heavy daily use over a long time.
The camera setup is another highlight. Whether I’m capturing photos during the day or in low light, the results are consistently impressive. The versatility of the cameras—along with the ability to use the larger inner screen as a viewfinder and for editing photos—makes photography even more fun and creative.
The battery life on the Fold 6 is also excellent. Despite the large screens, I easily get through a full day of heavy use without needing to recharge. The fast charging feature is a bonus, getting me back to 100% in no time.
The AI features are next level and needs to be used to believe how awesome it actually is. My favourite is the new transcript of recorded audio. Now we go to business meetings and after recording the meeting through the Fold 6 we also have the accurate transcript for sending to the client or using internally.
Samsung’s software enhancements specifically for the foldable experience are spot-on. The multi-window support and app continuity work seamlessly, making it feel like the software was designed around the hardware, not the other way around.
Overall, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the perfect blend of innovation, power, and functionality. If you’re looking for a phone that stands out from the crowd and offers a unique, next-level experience, this is the one. I absolutely love it and can’t recommend it enough!

detailedReviews 30: content: So it's been so many years ago when "Samsung Galaxy" phones came out, but I got with them at that time, & have never looked back. So I got my first Samsung device I believe before they came out with Samsung Galaxy phones. As soon as the first "Samsung Galaxy" devices came out I immediately got one, & every phone since has been one. I love their look, I love the software, they were on a entirely different level at the time, & I'll never change. I love their devices, & I always would go for their newest, latest, & greatest devices, until nowadays they have a bigger selection, so there's always something that fits me best. I do a lot of art 🎨 , drawing, & when the Samsung Galaxy Note came out with it's very sharp stylist, or S pen I had to have it, & I was going to stay with that forever after, however... The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series came out with the same S pen, but the screen opened up to double the phone's size, so I tried it. It is a perfect phone for what I needed it for, drawing, gaming, design (Automotive Engineering was my career), the large screen is amazing, for everything, you pics can be larger, watching TV, & videos are so much nicer on a big screen. So I had one of the first Z Fold series, & upgrade here, & there, so I've got the current Z Fold 6, & it's got the "new craze" AI, which is nice for adding more on top of my art, writing (though it argues with me from time, to time), but it enhances what you are doing, working on. I love Samsung Galaxy products.

detailedReviews 31: content: I wanted a device that was capable of handling my personal and business needs. Before the Z fold 6, I was using a very popular phone brand and felt the software was very limiting. The Z Fold 6 was very appealing because of the ability to multitask on a bigger display on demand while being able to fit in my pocket.
In the first 20 minutes of using this phone I was completely in love with it and wondered why I didn't make the switch sooner. There are so many incredible features that make my work extremely quick and efficient. One feature that is now instinctual for me is the edge panel which allows me to quick access any of my favorite apps from a simple swipe on the edge display. Another is the clipboard history. My work requires me to copy large amounts of data between apps. Before, I used to have to switch between apps and individually copy and paste once at a time. With the Z Fold 6 I can copy as much as I want since it gets saved in the history.
But the best feature is the ability to multitask on the cover and main display. When handling my personal and business related finances, I can quickly summon a calculator popup window from the edge panel while writing down payments on the notes app all at the same time without ever switching tabs. The Galaxy AI features have been incredible as well allowing me to answer my phone without ever touching my phone and smart select which allows me to copy text that isn't editable and share images from a simple crop. detailedReviews 32: content: This fold 6 is one of the best devices I've ever used, and it is definitely one of the most cohesive foldable experiences available. But it is not the best, and it's such a shame. The focus on galaxy AI this year was underwhelming, and it shows within the community. Everyone agrees that ai features are useful but are not generational upgrades that should be the focus of a device launch. The reason the fold 6 is able to compete with other foldable phones is software; it has the best software available on the market hands down. But If other foldable phones were available worldwide and a bit more polished with software, the fold 6 would not be selling nearly as much. If Samsung doesn't upgrade the hardware or make a higher level option available, they will certainly lose market share. I believe there should be 3 foldable released annually if Samsung wants these phones to be more mainstream. A cheap option, a standard option, and a 2k+ ultra that many would happily shell out for.
Now on to the fold 6 itself, this phone is amazing from my limited use so far. Battery life can get you through a day, and the shape/size of the screens is at the perfect point. Galaxy AI makes productivity (the main use of this device) a breeze and so enjoyable. One UI is intuitive and gives you lots of control over functions and customization. The build quality is extraordinary and really shows how far this tech has come. This is the only foldable I can recommend for anyone looking to switch.

detailedReviews 33: content: The Galaxy Z Flip6 is an undisputed champ! I owned the Flip4 and Flip5, but the Flip6 blows them away! With more battery life, better camera, AI features, and 12 GB memory it outweighs its predecessors by a long shot. You can do more on the cover screen itself, like watching YouTube, making calls, texting, and Google Maps to name a few. It also has AI as an assistant that can translate conversations in real time, help rewrite texts, and work apps. There is a quick side menu when the phone is opened for ease of use. The screen and actual phone case have both been upgraded, so a simple drop will not shatter it like earlier models. Samsung also offers a two- piece clear case which compliments my black carbon style outer shell. Additionally, the phone has been slimmed down, so it is still as thin as other phones even with the clear case. I utilize my phone like a computer and television. I use it for my everyday activity like paying bills, checking bank and credit card balances, applying for things, and a a wallet. I stream Amazon Prime, Netflix, other channels, and YouTube. The speakers are fantastic for this type of entertainment, as well as listening to music, recorded calls and conversations, and audio books. I recommend this phone to absolutely anyone.

detailedReviews 34: content: 4 years ago I got the default 3 and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately the inner screen began leaking on the inside so unfortunately I can only use the outside screen now therefore I went and got a z-fold six. It's a great phone faster than three but the battery doesn't last as long especially since the latest update. Also I've contacted support on an issue I had initially that is still in my phone where every time I do a live stream on tiktok on the brand new phone the camera shakes for everybody viewing I've contacted customer support they've had me reset the network cache but it hasn't fixed anything I gave up on trying I used the default 3 that's unable to open now I use it in the closed format form to do my live streams on tick tock because my brand new z-fold six won't function properly when doing video streaming. Other than that the phone is phenomenal. I have no other issues going live on any other platform. Support still cannot assist me with this issue. So if you're looking for a good phone that opens up into a bigger form factor and offers you more real estate to look at this is a great phone it has AI built in it also has an interpreter it's really an amazing phone just know that you're going to have to keep it close to a power supply if you use all or most of the features on a regular basis. My phone will last about 6 hours. But I'm a multitasker and a 3D print designer.
In my personal opinion I'd wait for the seven. Wish I had. I can't afford to buy another 1.

detailedReviews 35: content: I'm a longtime Samsung consumer and I've been using their phones since my Samsung Galaxy 5. I alternate back and forth between my phone and my tablet for various applications I use daily. Music, fitness, streaming services and gaming are the main things I use on these. I've been intrigued about having a phone and a tablet all in one, and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 hits the mark for me. Folded, it's small enough to fit in my pocket, and opened up it's large enough to watch the Olympics and preseason football with my wife while we're out and about. Placed in a tablet holder above my older car's stock stereo allows me to enjoy all the perks of Android Auto without the need to replace the stereo. After about a month of use now, the crease in the center where it folds is noticeable with your finger and to the eye when the screen is off, but when the phone is on, and you're looking straight at it, the crease is unnoticeable. The Galaxy AI features allow you to have some fun embellishing photos (I've added skateboards under pictures of my cats sleeping) and can turn your doodle drawings into fancy, modern art. Finding a case that agreed with me was challenging, but it is doable. I'm very keen on protecting screens on all my devices, and many of the cases for this phone that are out there are not screen protector friendly. All in all, I'd highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about a foldable phone.

title: I'm a longtime Samsung consumer and I've been...
detailedReviews 36: content: I'm a longtime Samsung consumer and I've been using their phones since my Samsung Galaxy 5. All in all, I'd highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about a foldable phone.

detailedReviews 37: content: I've had my Galaxy flip 6 for about 2 weeks and I was a bit skeptical at first but It's growing on me. I really like the small size when it's folded, so much easier and comfortable to handle and when it's open you can barely see the fold in the screen. The front screen is really nice, you can do just about everything from there once you've made a couple changes to the settings so actually opening the phone is not necessary all the time. You can even watch YouTube or have Google maps open from the front screen. I use my phone for work a lot and the Galaxy AI in the photos is very helpful for taking good pictures and the generative edit function is nice. Live translate is game changing, I just ordered the Galaxy buds 3 pro and can't wait until they get here because apparently when someone is talking to you in a different language it immediately translates it for you in real time and that will be extremely helpful as I work with a lot of people that speak Spanish. But even without the earbuds the translation feature is very helpful, you can type what you want to say with the phone unfolded and then on the front screen it will show the translation for the person you are talking to. Chat assist is helpful with making sure the tone of my messages comes across the way I want and sounds professional. I look forward to trying all the other AI features but that's about all I've been able to play with so far. I'm happy with this purchase and look forward to seeing how it does over time.

detailedReviews 38: content: I've always wanted to try the Z-Fold device and finally did. However, after using it for a couple of months, I have traded it in for the Galaxy S 5 Ultra. I use my Samsung phone for everything, from email & texting to research and work - related assignments. I am a writer and spend significant time on my phone whenever a creative idea hits me. However, I've always loved the Galaxy Ultra devices for their large screens and ease of keyboard use. Unfortunately, I found the Z-Fold outer screen was too small for my personal comfort (and the far keys too hard to hit accurately because of the need to protect the spine of the phone), and I do not open the phone nearly as often as I thought I would. The open screen would be great for gamers and artists, but for me, not so much.
I also don't love that the stylis doesn't come with the phone. For an advanced phone, I would think the stylis would be included. It would be amazing if the stylis worked on the front screen instead of just the open screen, but different preferences for different folks.
Lastly, I am a huge fan of the Galaxy cameras and have been for years. The Z-Fold camera doesn't compare to the Galaxy Ultra cameras, which was disappointing.
To conclude, the Z-Fold is a cool technological gadget that would be ideal for many. However, I'm sticking with the tried and true ultra from now on.

detailedReviews 39: content: I've had the Samsung Galaxy z fold 6 for roughly 6 months now and overall, i love it! I had the Samsung galaxy z flip prior to this and it was a good phone as well but my heart is with the z fold. I love that you can use it as a regular phone or open it up for a larger screen to watch videos/ movies or play video games or simply use it for video calls.. the choice is yours! I have noticed a couple down sides to it which some may just be that I haven't figured out how to access or figure them out yet on my phone and not that the phone isn't capable of or doesn't have the option to.. the first is the camera. It has a good camera and overall I'm pleased with it however, I do believe that the camera on the galaxy s24 ultra is better. Another thing that I have yet to figure out is how to male my notifications appear on my screen when my phone screen is black/off. I can hear the notifications come thru but this is the first phone I've owned that doesn't light up your screen with the notifications when the phone is not in use.. im not sure if its a possibility or if the phone just doesn't support it. The last thing I can think of that I wish I could do with it is separate my text message notification sounds from my app notification sounds. Again, these could be things that are possible and I just haven't figured out how to manage them yet, I'm just not sure.
Overall, I'm very happy with the phone, I've had no dropped calls and no issues with texting or anything else for that matter

detailedReviews 40: content: As a long-time Fold user, having owned the Fold 3, 4, and 5, I was eager to get my hands on the new Fold 6. After a 2 weeks of use, here are my initial thoughts:
Screen Improvements
Outer Display: The outer screen is a game-changer. The small adjustments to its size have dramatically improved usability. While I still hope for a wider screen in future models, this is a significant step in the right direction.
Inner Display: Surprisingly, the inner screen doesn't seem as bright as the Fold 5, even with extra brightness enabled and adaptive brightness off. The colors appear more vibrant and saturated on the Fold 5. This could potentially be addressed with a future software update.
Audio Quality
The speakers on the Fold 6 are a notable improved from the Fold 5.
Design and Build
Weight: The Fold 6's reduced weight is immediately noticeable and impressive. It's significantly lighter and more manoeuvrable, which enhances the overall user experience.
Fold and Crease: The infamous crease is less visible than ever, even in well-lit environments.
Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 brings welcome improvements in screen technology and weight reduction. Fold 6 represents a step forward in foldable technology, particularly in its more practical outer display and reduced weight

detailedReviews 41: content: I know I made the right decision to upgrade to the Fold5 instead of waiting for the 6 to be released. It has all of the features I want, without the bigger, bulkier feel, and especially without the cost! I got a sweet deal, so I was already tempted, then the specs of the 6 were released and I knew it was going to be too large to hold comfortably whether I was working on the front screen or the inner screen. I personally like the rounded edges on the 5 as well.
I like most of the features of the Fold series - the two screens, Galaxy AI, split screen, etc. I am dreaming of the day when they can upgrade the camera to get anywhere near their other phones, but since that's not currently available for the Fold series, I choose the Fold's other features. I would also like to have the S Pen integrated into the phone, but again, until it's available, I'm happy enough to continue with this phone. The secret is that I'll be ready to upgrade again for the next model - if it happens to have my coveted features - or I can hold onto this one for an additional year in hopes that the following model will.
I use my phone for 4 primary things - email, texting, calls, and casual gaming (like crossword puzzles or match 3 games). I don't need a ton of features to support these. But I have occasional sprees in which I might binge a show in bed, play a game with higher graphics, or even try to edit a document, and this phone makes all of those achievable.

detailedReviews 42: content: I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for a while now, and wow — this thing is a game-changer. The design is sleek, the hinge feels solid, and that massive foldable screen? Let’s just say my eyes have never been happier. Reading, watching videos, even just scrolling feels easier and more comfortable. It’s like my phone finally decided to get me glasses without the glasses.
The Gaxay Ai features are so cool, letting me edit photos with generative AI and remove things from my photo that didn't belong.
Performance is lightning-fast, and the multitasking is phenomenal. I can have multiple apps open side by side without feeling cramped — it’s like carrying a mini computer in my pocket (well, a slightly larger pocket). Gaming, streaming, work, social media… it all runs buttery smooth.
If I had to nitpick, some apps still don’t fully take advantage of the foldable display, and Samsung’s speech-to-text sometimes writes things I’m pretty sure I didn’t say. But honestly, those are tiny blips in an otherwise stellar experience.
Bottom line: the Z Fold 6 isn’t just a phone, it’s a productivity powerhouse and a daily dose of “wow.” Once you get used to it, going back to a regular phone feels like watching movies on a postage stamp.

detailedReviews 43: content: The phone is not very comfortable because the main screen is very small. Which means that every time I have to use the phone, I have to open it. The whole phone is heavy and I have to use both hands. The screen is good, it looks good for games, but every time I switch screens/apps, I have to be flipping it over. Vertical/horizontal because some applications open up verticals. Some applications open horizontally and it is very anoying. When I make video calls, some apps frezee the image when I am on Wi-Fi and I have a vertical mode(camera on the upper right). When its open and horizontal no, but when I have vertical mode, it does a kind of zoom and that something causes the app to freeze. If me or the person I'm calling use mobile data do not happen but if both have wifi conection it does.. its wierd but happens with whatsapp for example.
On the other hand, i missed having the good 100x zoom camera i used to had in the ultra model.
Something great is the way that they integrated the ai with the phone, I am using the ai several times of a day, at least 30 times. I don't know if other brands have that or it is only galaxy ai feature but thats something i use the most. If you cant answer a call and auto answers and you can see all the conversation written or the live translation option, even when you are driving and the ai resume the messages.

detailedReviews 44: content: Coming from a note 20 ultra where I thought I didn't need an upgrade and folding phones seemed like a distant dream, the fold 6 has proved itself in many ways more than ever. From the powerful processor and snappy response, to the new amazing ai features this phone has it all. Split screen is amazing on the inner screen as you basically have two screens in one, and with the ability to flod it in half and watch something on one while work on something like drawing or writing on the other is a breeze. Ai features are new and something to behold as you can draw just about any picture and you can have ai come close as to what you draw is a new step for phones. Ai can also help you solve problems, identify something your not sure of, and guid you in the proper direction you need. Then if your worried about the crease in the middle of the phone you need not to worry as samsung made this crease almost invisible unless your seriously looking for it in direct light. Folding is very easy and it dose not feel like it's going to break in your hands and it stays shut and won't bend or unfold open in your pocket. Then is plenty of things that I could tell you about this phone but really to answer all your questions it's best to get your hands on it yourself and feel this amazing phone in your hands. This will be the first of many for me in the fold line now and still will always be a die hard samsung user.

detailedReviews 45: content: Ever since I've gotten my previous Z Fold 3, I've enjoyed using Z Fold for many activities such as for Work and entertainment. After I upgraded to Z Fold 5 and especially after Android 14 update. With the Galaxy AI features such as Circle to Search and the Live translator, these features have been very helpful to me. For Text translation I used to have to manually copy the foreign text and use one of Translator app to translate text.. it was very time consuming but now with Galaxy AI it was save me a lot of time. Circle to search is the other Galaxy AI festure I use often as it helps search for items especially for parts or items that need to replace much easier. I'm a system admin, for fixing computers, Circle to search have made my life much easier to finding parts or devices for replacement or repair. Like any product there are still room for improvement. I would suggest Samsung offer bigger screens for future models. As person often work on the go, I find main screen very useful certain scenarios such as remote desktop, playing games or watching movies. However I still use cover screen for many other activities including messages, web browsing, using apps that doesn't support the main screen. I would like to see the screens size to be increased or offer a model that has bigger screen size for those of us who wants it. It will be great if Samsung would release a Z Fold model with cover screen size that match Galaxy S24 ultra.

detailedReviews 46: content: I got a Fold 5 512GB at pre-release but did not trade in my Note20U. I am impressed with the 50MP camera, given its specs, and if I didn't watch videos on how Samsung runs durability tests on this new foldable generation, I would not have gotten one at all. JerryRigEverything's latest Fold5 durability test also cemented my decision. It's much tougher than the Fold 4. I have had it slip out of pockets and roll to the cement or hard floor. So far, with no scratches or damage.
I got the thin S-pen case. No bluetooth or cover screen functionality with the pen, but I never used the BT on my old Note20U's S-pen due to the Camera app's voice function being used to capture shots far from the handset. 12 months in? I'm looking for a case with hinge protection, S-pen silo, kickstand, AND wireless charging. I know that's asking alot, but I expect the best for the best.
The Fold 5's chipset's battery efficiency is what attracted me hard-core though. Side-by-side with the Note20U, and while using the fold's big inner screen most of the time, the Fold gets 3 more hours of SOT easily. The Fold's standby drain is like 3% over 8 hours on wifi, vs. the Note's 10% over the same period.
I have a wireless keyboard and mouse for Dex, and this is my favorite feature to multi-task on. Works great with USB dongle hubs for more connections
Overall I am very pleased. Now just wishing for a thinner foldable when folded. The Z Fold is rather thick while closed. Galaxy AI functions are very limited.

detailedReviews 47: content: I'm a big gamer on mobile and this phone is plenty capable hardware wise anyways. It's plenty fast, good refresh rate, battery life ain't the best but far from the worst still. The only problem with gaming on this phone really is the flip itself having a phone case helps a lil with this but when the phone wants to flip shut mid game it's a bit irritating (I never noticed the amount of force I apply to the frame of a phone before playing on a flip, if samsung could just find a way to get the flip to lock in the open position like a pocketknife does it would definitely get a better review from the gaming community. Just something simple like pinch the hinge to unlock and flip the phone closed. (Taking notes Samsung??) The phone is almost great now, use my suggestion on the flip7s release, make sure adverts clearly show this added feature and I guarantee the flip7 sales with be astronomically greater than all prior flip sales. I've heard of many people excited to get a flip but once they do they realize the phones who existence is also it's downfall. I went from a note20 to a flip I do notice the flip is faster and like the hardware setup better but if I had a chance to trade a good clean note20 or of course a note20ultra for this flip it'd be a done deal just because they phased out flip phones for a reason many years ago so why try and bring something dead back to life? The cover screen is pretty cool though and I like the feel of it in closed position

I immediately pre-ordered it and couldn't wait! It finally arrived and the packaging was so neat and really minimal on the environment which I love! The phone allows me to take multitasking to another level with its split screen capabilities for multiple apps, easy switching back and forth, and the frequent app icons at the bottom when unfolded. I have to utilize Excel alot for work and the inner screen makes it so much better for these situations due to its size and clarity. I can really be on the go and do almost everything I need without lugging around a laptop.
The AI features. Let me tell you! Adding something to a photo via sketch, removing something you don't want, it literally makes the picture perfect every time. You could never tell something was changed hardly at all compared to those other guys that named their company after a fruit lol we won't go there. I've always been a Samsung fan and this has taken the cake. With its sleek design, better aspect ratio on the cover screen, TONS of features, snappy processing speeds, you won't be disappointed. detailedReviews 49: content: I have always used my phone for business. I stumbled onto the note and never looked back.
I saw the fold series and instantly was attracted to how it could be used for office work day in and day out.
I started with the fold 5 and immediately was hooked. The fold 6 came out and I had to upgrade.
The fold 6 phone is so good at being what a school administrator needs. I can use it in meetings, evaluate staff, hold virtual meetings, and much much more. The simple interface that isn't too kid like or too overly uptight, allows for a comfortable experience when using my phone. I often am asked about my device because I truly use my device in a business manner. It has replaced my laptop for many things. Now when I go on a business trip, I often only take my fold 6. I have used the phone for my side hustle where I make handforged knives. The elegance of the fold 6 is coupled with Samsungs toughness. So I video, photograph my process, keep track of my orders, and much more on my fold 6. It is not strange for me to finish a day at the office and go right into the forfing area where my fold 6 is exposed to some heat, without fail, it always delivers a good video.
I can be forging, taking video, and have to stop to answer a business email. The battery holds up, and I rarely have to charge it during the day. This beast of a phone is amazing to use. I certainly depend on it's versatile approach to functionality.

detailedReviews 51: content: I'm loving this device. I'm coming off the Z Fold 4, so the lighter weight, thinner body and wider front display are all pretty significant upgrades for me. The crease is still pretty visible but it's still less visible than my last device. Both displays are brighter, and the battery lasts longer, though I think that's a processor thing because I think the batteries are the same size a before. Loving the Galaxy AI features though in still learning them. My only real issue is the camera array. While they're quite nice, this is a flagship device - the most expensive phone Samsung offers. The fact that at least the cameras from the S24 Ultra aren't on this device is extremely disappointing. Considering the S25 Ultra will likely have improved cameras, having this flagship device essentially two generations behind is verging on embarrassing at this price point. But they're much better than my Z-Fold 4 cams so I'll take them. And while I don't care for any of the competition folding phones and hate to even mention them, some do have better camera arrays, so Samsung really needs to step this up next go 'round.
But the speakers are fantastic, the displays are lovely. Calls sound great. I have very few complaints. I do recommend this device and I'm happy with my purchase. But nothing is perfect. It's pretty close though!

If you are looking for a phone that can act as a phone and tablet then you are in the right spot! The ability to multitask up to 4 apps at once and even save your most used combo on your homescreen or Taskbar is ideal! This phone has various settings for gaming performance and almost endless customizations with the matching samung theme apps. The performance modes are a great tool for anyone looking to game on the go. You can switch into performance mode to run games at a stable 60fps and keep the phone cool while you are at it! It excels at business and play. Looking to send emails, check your calendar, and text without switching apps? That's my personal most used multitasking combo! This phoen really is excellent for the price, however it falls short on one aspect. The outer display width. The outer display aspect ratio is thinner than most of your slab phone counterparts and really can make the typing feel a bit difficult. It makes it easy to misclick with smaller keys and thinner gaps. It definitely takes a bit of getting used to but that isn't enough to stop this phone from being a strong foothold in the folding phone industry!

detailedReviews 53: content: As a long time Fold enthusiast, since the 1, I have been waiting a long time for this device. Finally they've gotten everything right. From the flat folding hinge which prevents dust and particles from getting between the screens to the surprising thinness and lightness of the device overall. The screen is vivid and gorgeous, the audio incredible, battery life is spot on. And the main reason I switched from my Fold 4, is the added features of Galaxy AI. I use the live interpreter all the time since I live near the border and have tons of interactions with non native speakers, when they see our conversation translated live they're blown away and it makes connecting with someone who doesn't speak your language so easy and intuitive. We are truly living in the future. I have the tendency to be wordy, to over explain and lose my point. Using composer i can easily edit and proofread anything I'm trying to type out, from simple texts, to legal documents and important essays. I use my Fold for gaming, and there's no parallel. Games run fluidly and flawlessly. The processing power of this device is incredible. I wouldn't change anything and every day I'm amazed how perfectly they've nailed the Fold. Hooray Samsung! I’ve been using the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for over a year now, and it still feels like the best tech decision I’ve made. This phone isn’t just cool to look at—it’s insanely functional and has completely changed the way I use a mobile device.
Streaming & YouTube
I stream everything on this thing—YouTube, Netflix, Twitch—and the foldable display makes it feel like I’m carrying a mini tablet in my pocket. I’ll prop it up in Flex Mode on the table while eating or relaxing, no stand needed. The display is vibrant and the speakers still sound great after a year of daily use.
Photos & Everyday Life
The camera system has held up really well. Whether I’m snapping quick shots of the kids, capturing scenic views, or taking selfies, the Fold 6 still delivers clean, sharp, and colorful images. I’ve also come to love how I can use the cover screen as a viewfinder to take higher-quality selfies with the main camera—genius.
Galaxy AI
Galaxy AI is lowkey one of my favorite features. I use it to summarize notes, auto-format messages, and translate when I’m talking to relatives overseas. It just quietly boosts everything I do without getting in the way. It even helps me brainstorm with ChatGPT on the fly, which I use almost daily.
Productivity & Bills
I handle my bills, budgeting, emails, and work docs right from this phone. Being able to run multiple apps side by side is still one of my favorite things. I’ll have my bank app, calculator,

detailedReviews 55: content: I originally had a Samsung Galaxy Z fold 2 a few years ago and that phone had a few areas in which it could improve. I ended up switching to the S23 Ultra and loved that phone. Eventually I began to miss the large inner screen of the Fold Series and was eyeing up the Fold 5. I didn't get it but instead, waited until the Fold 6 was announced to pre-order one.
I've been using my Galaxy Z Fold 6 for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! It's improved on every reservation I had about the Galaxy Z Fold 2. It also surpasses the S23Ultra in all ways except for one.
There is a small sacrifice in terms of camera quality when switching from an S23 Ultra or S24 Ultra to a Z Fold 6. However, the gap between them is much smaller (and more palatable) than in the past. This is thanks to better hardware and software on the Fold series. The trade-off was absolutely worth it for me, as now I can take great pictures and show them off on a much bigger screen. You'd be surprised how much easier it is to show pictures to your parents/grandparents who may not have great eyesight anymore when you have a giant screen.
A while ago, I wasn't the biggest fan of AI assistants, as I thought it was a little gimmicky. However, I've warmed up to it and I must say that Samsung really knocked it out of the park with their Galaxy AI! I now bombard my wife's phone with cute stickers I made from photos of our cats. I've also used Galaxy AI to edit my photos and it's very usefull. This phone is perfect!

detailedReviews 56: content: I am loving my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The phone feels sturdy and smooth when unfolding and folding, and I haven’t experienced any issues with it, which is a huge relief when using it day-to-day.
I’m really happy with the camera and video quality, allowing me to capture my cherished memories and be able to share them on my social media or have them printed for keepsakes and gifts for family. The battery life is lasting me two days at the moment when I am using it for browsing, emails and phone calls etc during the week. I’m so happy about this, I feel really at ease knowing my phone will last me two days!
My favourite feature is definitely the multitasking capabilities — I can have multiple apps open at once on the large display, and everything runs seamlessly. Whether I’m editing photos, answering emails, or watching a YouTube video, the experience is smooth and intuitive.
Without a doubt, this is one of the best smartphones on the market today. Its sleek design, powerful performance, and innovative features make it a truly premium experience. If you’re looking for a phone that offers the latest tech with incredible versatility, this is the one to get.
I’m absolutely thrilled with my Galaxy Z Fold 6, and I can’t imagine going back to a traditional phone!

detailedReviews 58: content: I upgraded to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and I’m blown away, this phone didn’t just replace my old phone, it replaced everything. It became my main camera, my Remarkable 2 digital notebook and eBook reader, and TV for most days, I really use this as a media and gaming hub also. Seriously, it does everything.
The bigger screen is perfect for jotting down notes, reading, or flipping between apps. Galaxy AI is super helpful, i didn't think it was going to be this helpful until I started using it and blew my mind. It summarizes notes and webpage articles, transcribes and translates stuff, and even cleans up my photos. I also purchased the S Pen and feels smooth, and multitasking on this phone is unreal. My Galaxy Watch 6 Classic with Galqxy AI rounds things out perfectly. It’s not just tracking sleep and heart rate, it gives me daily readiness scores, wellness insights, and even lets me control my phone remotely with gestures. The rotating bezel is satisfying, and the AI-driven health features feel genuinely useful.
Battery holds up all day, and the whole setup just feels like a mini office that fits in my pocket.
If you want one device to do it all, this is the only way to go!

detailedReviews 59: content: I initially bought this phone for how cool the concept of it flipping. After owning the phone for a while I began to really appreciate many features but, the battery life really I mean really is its best feature. I use this phone almost all day and it rarely actually dies on me, and when it does the die the charging is incredibly fast. You would think because it charges fast it wouldn't last long but you couldn't be further from the truth. It also tells you how long it fully charges which I find to be very useful. The camera is great, the phone has great graphics for playing games , the speakers are loud and sound great, and I truly like how its designed. Galaxy AI is a life saver specially its translating functions. I took a trip to south America and I used it to make a reservation at a hotel, the guy on the phone understood exactly what I was saying eventhough I said in english all thanks to the AI. Truly greatful for that feature. One more thing that I find to be great about the flip 6 is , even after owning it for almost a year I truly see no difference in the any aspect of the phone everything still works like the first time I bought it even the battery .

detailedReviews 60: content: The samsung galaxy fold 6 is a productivity beast!! The phone when closed is solid and while it is thicker when closed i find the screen suits scrolling social media perfectly. When I see something I want to get more detail on I open the phone and my window to the internet is doubled, just like that. The fold is so versatile with the power to run multiple applications. Makes shopping online simple allowing you to directly compare products, copy and paste notes, quickly search a product, and playing games. I can have a video on one side and an idle game on the other side. If you got a case with SPen you dont ever need to waste paper again, all in one slim pocket sized profile. I use Samsung DEX almost every day, connecting a keyboard and using the screen as a touchpad mouse removes the need to own anything else. Galaxy AI and the assistant features turn the phone into an incredible multitool. I honestly never thought I needed this much phone but the more I use it the more it replaces my other devices. Bravo samsung this device is everything I've been asking for. I'm staying with samsung and going head first into everything they make just because of this phone.

detailedReviews 61: content: Love this phone, won't get the 6 but I'll probably get the 7 when ever that comes out. Gaming on this phone is amazing, multitasking for school projects and notes helps a lot, streaming YouTube, while doing research on Google, and taking side notes all on one device at one time. Don't even need to buy a tablet. If you think you want a tablet just get this. Saves you from having to buy a phone and tablet. The connectivity with galaxy devices is great and android auto work really well. Not much of a Galaxy AI user but I have used it sometime before I lost my galaxy buds. For the price it's well worth it having a phone and tablet. So many applications for work and school and projects of all kinds. And I have to say these phones are really durable, I work in a machine shop and sometimes I forget to put my case back on after cleaning it and I'll drop it on solid concrete or steel chips and most of the time barely scratches or nicks. I have the fold 3 and broke the front screen on that but the inside screen still works so now i kind of use it like a Nintendo DS and do fun things with it. Hope this one doesn't break though, the fold 3 lasted me 2 years no case dropped it all the time before the screen finally cracked and went out. One thing is there are a lot of apps out there that still need to make versions of their app for this phone. In the app store I get this application is not supported on your device a lot.

detailedReviews 63: content: Having used the Samsung Z Fold 6 now for a few weeks, I have to say I'm very happy with it. Coming from a long time user of the S series to getting a fold, it has been a change for the good. From a productivity stand point, the phone is next level. Multi tasking, handling anything I throw at it and then game when I want to relax. So if you are looking for a phone that you can basically do everything on, then the Fold 6 is for you. Getting a cover is hit and miss but I've found the UAG Pylo to be the best. Getting a portable monitor ie 15.1" with Type-C input transforms your phone into a desktop PC with DeX and you can also game in this mode as well as on your TV. If you own a Samsung TV or a TV that will accept the DeX input, then you can game on a much much bigger screen. Car games, first person shooter, flight sims all work very well. You can use the screen, but I got the Gamesir G8 + Galileo which turns the phone into a game console unlike the Switch in setup. So if you were like me where you had a desktop, laptop, gaming device etc, that is now all in one. Having the bigger inner screen has been really good to switch between the cover screen and inner screens when I need to multi task. There's a feature called Flex where I watch my videos in mostly where the phone folds to into an L-Shape and sits on a table nicely. Back to the case issue, be aware the camera lens stick out and cheaper cases don't account for this and the phone will not sit flat which is why you need a more higher end case.

detailedReviews 64: content: Hi, I work as an industrial mechanic at the refineries for a better part of the year, and my Z Folds have been with me the whole time, the Z fold 6 is a total champ. I take it to the gym, the beach, and everywhere else without any issues. But where this phone really shines is when it comes to multitasking. I'm currently working on opening my business, and while I don't do all the designing on my phone, I can definitely edit as much as I need to using Dex and my phone as a drawing pad. It's just as good as using a laptop. Multitasking is a breeze, and what really sets this phone apart is that I can have both my personal and business phone lines with eSIMs, and have all of my business apps and docs safely separated inside the secret folder, it's like having two phones in one. Plus, I recently installed a touchscreen monitor in my motorhome that I use to travel to job sites, and connect my phone to it to run Dex for a full screen, not mirroring so that way I can lock my phone, activate the on screen keyboard for the DEX screen so I never have to touch my phone (safety first) and use it as a GPS. My phone becomes my vehicle infotainment system. With the Z Fold 6 I have a tablet when open, a phone when it's folded, and a computer when I'm at my desk running Dex. It's the best of both worlds! Also I am not the best when it comes to putting my thoughts on paper but samsung Galaxy AI defenetly helps.

detailedReviews 65: content: How do I start this?
This phone is essential for my work. Because I am a full-time mom and an administrator for an afterschool, my sleep schedule from my little one's sleep and the urgent schedule changes for the next day's pickup schedule are always fighting for my focus and energy. The only time I really have undisturbed to carefully plan out students' pickups on time for our drivers is late at night but I cannot move sometimes because my little one is asleep on me (especially last month from recovering and struggling with RSV). His sleep was important to me and my work was too. Somehow this phone was able to be in creation and I asked my boss if I could have this phone because I can literally make the schedules for the next day while in bed undisturbing my 22-month old while using the extended screen feature of the fold to view my excel sheets for all the students' Dismissal Times from the seven school districts we serve while checking schedule updates on school websites.
Apart from all the other features of this phone that are exceptional, the feature to have multiple screens open on the Fold5's one large screen allows me to have seemless actions across apps. This phone makes my life work and help our students get picked up on time.
Thank you so much!

detailedReviews 66: content: Hello, I was a long time Note user until the Note 5 when Samsung started to not put much upgrades into the newer flagships. Switched to different brands and was content. Once the Fold series started coming out I waited a bit and jumped onto the Fold 3 and was happy to be back but was a bit disappointed with the specs of the hardware compared to their S line. I did upgrade to the Fold 4 mostly for the bump in the hinge and screen but was still upset that their flagship phone doesn't have the camera and features that the lower priced S line had. Still loved my fold but did not buy into the 5. Well I wanted to see if the newest model was any better so I jumped even though hardware wise the cam is still cheap compared. I most definitely still have that gripe but the overall feel and build of the 6 compared to previous models does finally feel flagship. I don't get as scared to open and close the screen now, I rarely did in my 4 just because I didn't want to have the screen problems others have had. But now it feels sturdy, doesn't feel like it is gonna go bad. Time will tell of course but it feels a lot more solid now. I still want a better camera and larger inner screen but it is a very worthy upgrade and I do enjoy playing with the Galaxy AI features. Here's hoping they continue to improve and also start making it the flagship it should be. Thanks Samsung!

detailedReviews 67: content: The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is my first "officially" purchased fold. I used the Z fold 3 for a few weeks, when that released years ago... But I knew it wasn't the right time for me to swap over from a normal phone to the cutting edge foldables. It just wasn't refined enough for me at the time.
After a few years...The time has come and I am in love! The Z Fold 6, with it's boxier design, 4,400 milliamp battery, Galaxy AI features, and possible pen options, on top of the awesome fold technology is a no brainer purchase.
With my trade in credit and pre order, I feel I got the best value possible. Every time someone sees my new Z Fold they are in awe at how large the screen is and the versatility it offers.
I use my fold for Real estate related work, looking at documents, showing properties, etc. As well as teaching music, watching media at home with the family, all kinds of things! It's truly a media consumers phone... And a multitasking beast!
I've always loved Android, especially with Samsung phones, but this is truly the best way to experience it - UNFOLDED.
One small gripe is that the cover screen, though widened this year, could be extended just a bit wider out... Maybe on the following fold to come. For now, I'll just enjoy the beautiful crafted black pocket computer. Go Samsung!

I've always loved the note series from my note 3, I loved the 22 ultra and didn't wanna give up the camera suite and integrated Spen. BUT I will say the fold is changing my mind. I still wish they would make a fold that's basically the ultra varient with a fold screen. I don't care how expensive. The cameras are Good, but I miss my periscope zoom and built in Spen. However I spent the extra 100 bucks on the spen and case for my fold 6 (a little ridiculous at this price I have to spend more for a dumbed down spen) I miss the Bluetooth for camera control and air gestures but I do like doodling on the folds HUGE inside screen and playing with the Galaxy AI features in the notes app to bring doodles to life and add cool stuff to photos you already took it the gallery app. The outside screen is narrow but you will get used to it. Good for one handed but I'd love a more traditional aspect ratio for the front (bigger screen) folded open the inside screen shines for watching videos, but really shows it's worth then reading a web page, or document. I'm glad I made the switch.

detailedReviews 70: content: Had this phone for a good year and no issues whatsoever! Great performance overall and no issues with the flip portion of the phone. Cover screen works great but still needs an external app to put more apps on it. The basic widgets and features for the cover screen are solid. I didn't use the cover screen much though except for playing and stopping music on my music apps. The phone is super compact when closed and is such a lifesaver when space is needed in your pocket or any bags. It's super helpful when your at the gym and don't want a slab sitting in your pocket when you're working out. The cameras are great and Galaxy AI helps give photos more detail and color clarity when enchanced! The versatility with the flip function and the things you can do with your camera are really cool and gives the phone a fun factor which helps separate it from normal phones. In conclusion, The Galaxy Flip 6 is a great solid phone and a great entryway to flip phones if you never had one yet. It definitely adds a layer of fun and style to the normal, slab phones that's definitely needed in this day and age.

detailedReviews 71: content: I absolutely love making the move to the foldable. It gives you that classic flip feel with so much power and capability. I had been a longtime note user, so I was nervous about losing my stylus but since I mostly used it on my tablet anyway and the seamless actions across apps from my tablet, phone, and samsung laptop made the transition simple and painless.
Its quick and simple when you need just that, or its full business productivity when you open the phone to continue whatever you were working on using the front/outer screen. The camera is absolutely incredible, and I've never had to use the flash when out in the nightlife making for stellar photos. I simply wave my hand at the camera and it takes a selfie for me, and you can use the flip to prop the camera in many angles and ways so taking great photos is a breeze!
The integrated AI tools were easy to use and useful features in my daily routines, and the dual screen live translation was amazing to use on vacation. What an incredible tool!
Last but not least, the reduced amount real estate it takes up in my pocket is a refreshing relief! Hands down the best phone I've ever had!!

detailedReviews 72: content: I love the dual screens. I typically use the small screen for texting and changing my music during workouts but the large screen makes it all worth the price. I use the bigger screen for watching YouTube, Netflix, and any other streaming service. It's also great with dual screen mode. I can watch a show while I'm texting or doing other tasks. The part that folds on the screen is hardly noticeable. I do worry about the wear and tear on it but I've owned the phone for months with no issues to the folding part.
Another great feature is the Galaxy AI. I take lots of pictures during hikes or even weird critters. I can ask Galaxy AI to identify the thing I'm looking at such as a spider and it'll tell me all about. My biggest fear is spiders but with Galaxy AI I can tell if it's dangerous or just a friendly critter. It saves me from a lot of worried nights. I also use Galaxy AI to identify any trees that I see on my hikes or even different types of animals. It's great for shopping as well. No more gatekeeping clothing, I can just take a picture and find similar items for sale, if not the same one.
Overall I love this phone and I can't wait to see what Samsung comes up with next.

detailedReviews 73: content: The last version of the Galaxy Fold line of phones that I’ve used was the Galaxy Fold 2 back in 2020. Four more iterations on and Samsung has made massive strides in almost all aspect of the device (the Fold 2 didn’t even fold fully shut, remember that?!).
Let’s start with the folding design while we are on it. The Fold 6 has departed from the softer edges that have graced the Fold lineup since its inception, with the side rails have a much sharper profile, matching the style set by the S24 series earlier in the year. I’ve been a fan of the straight sides since a certain famous phone of 2010 so I’m all for it, but I do admit that when the screen is now 7.6” as opposed to 3.5” of yesterdecade then it can dig into the palm of the hand a bit more now. All in all it feels really solid, especially the hinge and the IP48 rating is a bonus, and is actually now lighter than some large non-folding phones, so feels really well balanced for the size.
Onto the specs of the phone, and Samsung have delivered yet another great set of displays on this version of the Fold. Both outside and inside screen are fantastic. Colours look great and really pop (as expected on Samsung’s AMOLED screens), and the outside screen is becoming better with every iteration, slowly fattening out and becoming a more normal ratio rather than very long and skinny as per most previous Fold versions.
Performance wise, the Fold 6 flies along using the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. I played a few matches of Call of Duty Mobile on the Fold 6 and it never missed a beat whilst playing, and also didn’t seem to get absurdly hot which can be an issue when playing high intensity games like that.
The cameras on the Fold 6 were pretty great in my limited time with the device. They aren’t flagship level sensors like you’ll find on the S24 Ultra, but are perfectly good. If cameras are the main feature you’re looking for on your phone then look elsewhere, it’s all about the screen over here, with cameras taking a secondary role (especially the under-screen selfie camera on the inside - yikes).
To conclude, the Fold series has made some amazing strides in the last few years since I’ve last used one. Design is slowly moving in the right direction and the phone feels really solid now and not like it may break at any moment! A few more years and we are going to soon have the perfect folding device in our midst!

detailedReviews 74: content: Being a 90s kid, the modern flip phone appealed to me, greatly. I should have done my research ahead of time- had i done so, I wouldn't have purchased. Everything seemed great to start, but by the end of the first month after purchase, the factory installed even protector began lifting along the fold crease. Mind you, I took great care of this device- it went from box to case. Just alone, the lack of options (0, to be exact) of additional protection of the delicate inner screen blows my mind. Furthermore, there is ZERO coverage of the inner screen Samsung Care or I
device coverage through carrier insurance, in the event it's damaged. I learned this the hard way. Not even two weeks after the inner fold crease began lifting, it progressively became bc worse until the top half of the screen went black and the blackness slowly crept down the device and became worse with every fold. Within 2 day, the screen had completely ceased to function. Upon doing more research, I found that this is so common in these flip phones- then screens are still in Beta testing!
SAMSUNG OFFERED NOTHING to repair the phone or replace it. So now im stuck with it.

detailedReviews 75: content: The Galaxy Z Fold 6 feels like a sleek and premium designed phone that feels comfortable in specially for users like me with larger hands. The fordable design is well-executed, with a minimal crease on the main screen that is barely noticeable during regular use. Both the inner and outer displays offer impressive quality. The inner display, in particular has an awesome look, I use it for watching movies, playing games, and browsing the web. The Z Fold 6's handles multitasking super well. I switch between apps seamlessly and can have multiple running as popout windows. Demanding tasks like gaming and social media video sharing apps are handled great, every so often my heavier video sharing app does restart if I navigate to another app for too long but that may be an app issue. Battery life is generally good, lasts me through the day. The Z Fold 6's camera is pretty impressive; the main camera captures details like colors and patterns on animals amazingly, I can zoom in on a video of a butterfly amazingly well. The night mode gives me great low-light photos. Pretty much a great phone.

title: The Galaxy Z Fold 6 feels like a...
detailedReviews 76: content: I'll start by saying I came from an iPhone. I have been an Apple user for more than 10 years. I had a Galaxy Note 4 when it came out, and although it was a good phone I traded it back in the following year for an iPhone and never looked back. I've seen the folding phone market since 2020 and never thought they looked good, but when I saw the Galaxy Z Fold 6, I thought it actually looked great from the front, back, and inside so I wanted to give it a shot. When it first arrived at my house, I was impressed and I still am. It feels very premium in the hand folded and unfolded. The screens are amazing. They are highly responsive and extremely saturated with some of the best brightness a smartphone has to offer. It's great on sunny days. The OS is very fast, snappy, and is good at running multiple programs at a time and can run some of the most intense Play Store games and editing apps. Although it's been great, it's not perfect. After about a month of normal, but not heavy use; the henge started to untighten a bit so the phone does not fold out completely flat which drives me nuts. I will say, the Samsung clear case did significantly help with this issue, but for users who don't want a case, this may be something to consider. Second, the cameras. The front facing and rear cameras are just good. Nowhere close to my iPhone 15 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The camera inside the phone is a joke. Especially when using that big, beautiful screen. I have seen better cameras on entry level laptops. The battery life is also just good. Nothing to ride home about, but it's great for a foldable phone. But, don't expect more than 8-10 hours of moderate use. There are also a few durability issues. I have experienced a minor crack on the bottom right of my screen. It doesn't go over the display, but it happened when I wasn't using a case, and I've never dropped a phone in my life much alone this one. The bezel inside on the folding screen where I have been unfolding it with my fingernails is wearing really badly and has created a rough surface on the right and left of the phone. It's not ideal, BUT a case would've prevented both of these issues so just know that is my experience. Lastly is the price. I can't shake it off. Yes, there are many promotions available of this phone and I think if you are going to take advantage of them, I would buy this BUT with the Samsung case to prevent the folding issue. But for full price, I can't recommend it! I chose AT&T's Next Up Anytime plan so maybe when the S25 Ultra releases, I may trade this for that. I am paying full installments on this phone, but I don't intend of keeping it for more than 6 months - a year. These are some things worth considering! Otherwise, it's a fantastic phone.

detailedReviews 77: content: I have been considering a phone with a folding screen for a while now and decided to buy the Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 as it has been through a few generations and had time to mature. My main reason for buying was the ability to have a feature-rich smartphone (although bulkier) but also the ability to have a larger screen when needed. I find this particularly useful when out and about, when there is more screen space available for documents, including spreadsheets, than there is on a traditional phone. It means I don't need to carry a separate tablet.
It is possible to use an S pen on the folding screen (but unfortunately not the smaller screen). The fold can be felt and seen, but it is possible to angle the screen when in use to make it less obvious (see photos). The screen does tend to attract fingerprints and dust; time will tell how robust the hinge and screen are, but they seem to be well engineered.
Having multiple windows/apps open at the same time is a very useful productivity tool. Most apps I have adjust to the larger screen, but a few don't, behaving instead like a phone app that does not have a tablet version.
The phone features (calls, photos, battery life, memory capacity etc) are as expected of a high end device.

detailedReviews 78: content: Love the phone, but it needs a sPen, how could this phone of all phones not have one! It should have a place in the phone for one to be inserted, or atleast come with it regardless since the phone needs it, especially when it's open. Instead I bought a case that comes with one cheap one and it just falls out and gets lost. It also is a little tough to open it, (if you don't have a case on it), it's too slippery on the edge to be able to grip it without your fingers sliding off or having to use your nails to pry it apart, for obvious reasons. Oh. Wait! Last thing, Would it have been too much to ask for a charger or a cord, I was extremely disappointed and felt like I was ripped off when usually it's expected in the package to have a new box that's faster than the old ones! They always come with the new models! It's just presumptuous and rediculous to assume I even had a charger already, what if it was my 1st phone? Mainly I just felt like I got half of what I paid for, and I bought the most expensive device available at the time but shocking there was No sPen and No screen protector, no screen cloth, and No charger not even a cord, it just didnt make sense for the highest priced device to have nothing else but the phone. Not cool.

detailedReviews 79: content: This has been the best phone I have owned in a long time. It has a great screen size when unfolded and amazing durability for a foldable phone. I know this because I have dropped it multiple times (with a case). I can multitask by having a video playing while on google chrome with the split screen feature which works seemlessly once your learn how it works. Also, gaming has been a joy; although I bought the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for the productivity and uniqueness of the design, it has made me start to play mobile games again. I have owned every type of phone since the sidekick, motorola razer, and HTC android days. This is the kind of phone we use to get back then, when smartphones felt innovative every time you bought a new one. Surprisingly, the software for the Z Fold 6 that handles the inside foldable screen works quite well with the exterior screen when in the middle of using an app and switching between the two. Lastly, the added AI features are a welcomed addition, and I am starting to see the benefits of using it for getting quick-detailed information, over a simple Google search.

detailedReviews 80: content: I wanted to buy the fold since it first was invented. But I didn't want to get it to find out that the screen brakes or anything like that. So I figured they ironed all the bugs out. By the time the Galaxy fourth fold came out, but this inner screen got a black.in it and then it got bigger and bigger. It was covered on the warranty, and they replaced it, and yet I didn't get the 5 because I was hesitant because of the problem with the inner screen on the floor that I had but the problem didn't happen again. And I figured the 6 they really got their stuff together, but here I am on the warranty, talking on a phone review on a replacement phone because the inner screen broke again. Now if the phone looks perfect, there's no scratches or anything on the phone I don't abuse the phone, I'm a professional. Don't work in any kind of an industry where the phone could get hit or anything. I do have a Samsung case on it. And yet the inner screen decided to the bed, you know what? I mean, so I can't give this. Even 4 stars, because by now, they should've figured this problem out with the screen. I don't understand why the problem persists, but this will be the last fold that I own. I used to have the note. I love the note. I always got the note and then the fold came out and it was better than the note, but it didn't have a pen that it had a pen. And that was the four, and my even though the pen had to be in the case it wasn't part of the phone I was okay with that.

detailedReviews 81: content: Coming from a fold 3 to a 6 was such a sweet upgrade, more sleek and yet compact feel, the ability to enjoy with some upgrades was a plus, until it wasnt. 7 months into owning and babying my phone the connection ribbon started breaking, making a bubble from the inside out on my unfolded screen; the random flickers, possessed ghost touches weren't the end of it but the dead pixel was. Thinking oh it's covered with 1 year warranty, costumer service kept blaming that the screen is not covered by any mean, go jump hoops with ubreakifix, even the tech said; this is workmanship issue. So in the end was able to send it in, and got my claim fulfilled. So I like the happy person I can be; awaited my phone, to find. A 2 inch metal scratch on the body, at this point im a bit skeptical with samsung and its costumer service/tech departments. I hope I am the few of this crazy chain of events, sadly reddit shows the same story. I do love my fold, its responsive, fast, can connect to a monitor/TV, it helps me read better unfolded. This has left me quite disheartened with the ordeal though. My recommendation to all that invest 1.2k in a phone, get insurance and a great phone cover; and pray they accept a claim.

detailedReviews 82: content: When I initially got the fold 3 I knew I was never going back to candy slab phones and now from upgrading from the fold 3 to the 6 the same is even more true.
The series is the best out there and I'm continually finding new ways to use my phone for gaming, movies, and video chats. The fast processing and the screen size and the weight compared to the fold 3 are exceptional and I know I'll be holding on to this for sometime just due to the build quality and how well it ages and stays up to date despite newer phones releasing. The screen size of the outer displays compared to other fold phones is my favorite. I STRONGLY prefer and will always choose the narrow display of the z fold 6 for the outerscreen as it's easy for one handed use.
Areas where I see opportunities are in the Z fold 6 main display concerning the glare; hopefully this could be reduced or corrected.
Utilization of the front display and inner display for S pen usage together
Looking forward to the inner screen camera being upgraded a bit for enhanced video call quality as well as a camera setup similar to the S24Ultra as I feel the fold is just as premium without sacrificing weight and size.

detailedReviews 83: content: I've been using the Galaxy Z Fold 6 for work and daily life, and it's quickly become my favorite phone — despite a few quirks.
The unfolded display is where the magic happens. It’s powerful, immersive, and makes multitasking enjoyable, especially for work tasks like reading documents, joining video calls, or drafting emails. Galaxy AI takes it up a notch — I use it regularly to help write content and edit photos, and it’s genuinely helpful without feeling gimmicky.
The cameras? Good enough. Not flagship-level, but reliable for everyday shots, video calls, and scanning docs.
A couple of drawbacks:
The exterior screen is still too narrow for comfortable typing, which makes quick replies frustrating.
OS and security updates are delayed compared to other Android flagships.
Still, the Z Fold 6 is a fun, versatile device that handles work and play with ease. If you're willing to overlook a few compromises, it’s a game-changing phone that’s hard to put down.

🔧 Samsung Flip 6: My Pocket-Sized Shop Partner
This phone? It flips cleaner than a fresh weld bead. I’ve had it in greasy hands, paint-covered gloves, and somehow it still looks like it belongs in a showroom.
It folds shut with the kind of satisfaction you get slamming a tailgate after finishing a perfect restoration. And when I snap it open mid-shop, it’s like the tech gods gave me a flip phone with muscle.
The outer screen’s my mini dashboard—checking texts, skipping songs, keeping me rolling without slowing down. Inside? A full display with so much pop it could double as a render screen for shop sketches.
Camera’s sharp too. I’ve used it to grab shots of custom builds and detail closeups that actually do justice to the work. Try getting chrome sparkle to show up properly—Flip 6 handles it like a pro.
Battery stays solid through a full workday, and performance doesn’t flinch. It’s slick, tough, and compact—like the perfect tool that fits in your apron but performs like a full-size rig.
Bottom line? Flip 6 is the rare blend of style and utility. Just like a well-built shop truck: understated until you use it, then hard to let go.

detailedReviews 85: content: I've been with Samsung since the S3, and the Fold 6 is by far my favorite phone ever. I seriously can't imagine using a regular phone anymore. The foldable design, S Pen, DeX, and now Galaxy AI — nothing else compares.
I use the S Pen almost every day for quick notes and doodles, and DeX is super handy in meetings — just wirelessly connect and present, no laptop needed. Galaxy AI is also a huge bonus, especially for writing stuff on the go.
And I’ve totally ditched other browsers — Samsung Internet is my go-to now. The built-in AI for summarizing and translating pages is just awesome.
Only small downside: it can get a bit warm sometimes. But honestly, I’m fine with that considering everything this phone can do.

detailedReviews 86: content: I have been a Samsung Galaxy fold owner since the Fold 3. From there I went on to the Fold 4, Fold 5 and now the Fold 6. I could go on and on about the unique features the Fold has but most of us have seen those over the years. Perhaps that's why the competitors try so diligently to make an equal to the Samsung Galaxy Fold. I would like to point one thing out that many people seem to miss in their review and that is the Samsung trade-in program. The Samsung trade-in program is such an incredible value. There is not a better deal anywhere for a foldable. I enjoy upgrading every year to the next Fold to see the improvements that have been made. Put simply the Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 is the best overall foldable device on the market. It checks every box needed for an incredible foldable experience. Just when phones were getting boring Samsung introduces their new AI with the Fold 6 and it is nothing short of spectacular. So many features with editing photos, notes and basically anything. But I think my favorite is the web page summary AI. It
allows me to read an article and get the information I'm looking for rather than searching through paragraphs of useless information. The Samsung Galaxy Fold 6 is a completely new experience in a phone that I think everyone should check out.

detailedReviews 87: content: The Z fold 6 is a great device if you're looking for a multitasking powerhouse that can double as a standard phone. Great for content watching, and exceptional for games.
Battery life is also good with approximately 7 hours of screen on time regularly in my day to day use that includes office work (outlook, teams, etc) and catching up on YouTube while browsing the web at the same time.
The front screen, though narrowee than your standard smartphone, is excellent for one hand use and usable for your quick replies and tasks that don't require your larger display.
Durability has been great with it surviving a few drops without a case and not getting any visible damage to it.
Cameras are definitely the weakest part of this device. It certainly will take good pictures, and be perfectly fine. However other devices such as the S24/25 Ultra, or the iPhone as well as the Pixel lineup, will take better photos given their more advanced camera setups. Personally, the pictures and videos from the Z Fold 6 are perfectly ok for me.
Overall very satisfied.

detailedReviews 88: content: I upgraded from the Z Fold 4, and my goodness what an upgrade the Fold 6 is!!! Love love love this phone!! This model is slimmer, with a sleek design and feel. The “fold” hinge is much more flush than the Fold 4 and you feel the difference in your hand and see the difference visually when the phone is flat on a surface. The Fold 6 is lighter, processing speed much faster which you notice when you are full on multi-tasking. The graphics are so crisp it’s a joy catch up on my TV shows in full screen mode. I hven’t noticed a marked difference in the battery life and this varies depending on my day of usage. I love the circle to search feature which has worked really well for finding items from a picture – its really simple to use. I haven’t uncovered the other AI features so I look forward to discovering more. My Galaxy Watch Ultra works amazingly well with the Fold 6 and I cant wait to pair with my new Buds3 Pro once they arrive! I have to say I love the way that all the new Samsung devices connect together the synchronicity makes it a powerhouse on the move. My second phone from the Samsung Z Fold Series and I am absolutely pleased with this phone and would recommend to family and friends without hesitation!!!

detailedReviews 89: content: Where do I start? If you like people saying "let me see it open" or "that is amazing" then this is the right phone. I love it because the Galaxy Z Fold 6 can do everything I need it to do.
I help run a summer camp and with the large screen space I can read spreadsheets or documents easily on my phone while I am running around the camp. For example I get texts about scores that need to be input into a score sheet. I can open both in split screen and easily enter the information.
If I need some Galaxy AI support I just ask and the answer appears. This phone allows me to use all the programs I need either in open or closed mode. Some games work better in landscape on the front screen and some opened on the large screen. Very versatile.
The screen resolution makes watching TV or movies not worth turning on the television. The picture is wonderful. Speaking of pictures, the camera resolution is wonderful and with Galaxy AI and the photo software it is easy to get great images. We have a joke in my family the if my wife takes a photo I always resort it so we can get a better image.
The phone is durable as I am a dropper and charges like a dream. Even with heavy usage I rarely run out of battery in a day.
Great Phone.

detailedReviews 90: content: Excellent Device! I work in IT and dealing with people I have learned to have both iOS and Android operating systems. As a longtime 10-15 year Apple user with the iPhone being my main and go to device. Since acquiring the Z Fold 6. I’ve literally put my iPhone down and am only using it for text messaging and phones calls. I’ve done everything else on the fold 6 and it’s wonderful. No other phone has ever made me put down my iPhone. The Z Fold 6 did it and it’s great!
The Z Fold 6 is great for multi-tasking, watching media content, gaming, and so much more. And the customization is AMAZING especially when using the Good Lock application. The Z Fold 6 is the best phone I’ve had since my T Mobile sidekick days. I love my iPhone and as a videographer and graphic designer that phone will be my go to.
I REALLY wish Apple would get with the innovation when it comes to hardware and software design. IOS is great, clean, simple, and the ecosystem is the best in my opinion. BUT! Apple is being left in Samsungs dust when it comes to innovation and hardware design. I stopped buying iPhones at the 12 Pro Max. I only got the 13 Pro Max because my mom’s iPhone 6 Plus gave out on her which forced me to upgrade. But I REFUSE to give Apple another iPhone dime until they start being innovative and stop trying to sell folks the same phone year after year with the same design and a few upgrades here and there. Apple is becoming a big bore. Really the camera, Airdrop and iMessage is the only things keeping me with iPhones.

detailedReviews 91: content: The Z Fold6 is surprisingly better than I had hoped for. I was concerned that the foldable screen would make pictures, text, and videos distorted, due to the fold line, but it doesn't at all when viewed straight on.
Also, my previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 24 Ultra, which had a fairly fast processor and plenty of memory. I was concerned that the Z Fold6 would be slower, but it's not, yet... I'll give it time to get two years worth of patches and updates to see how it goes. For now, I'm very happy with the performance.
Concerning the form factor, I actually like the small screen on the outside when the phone is folded. Although the icons are small, it's nice and quick to use one-handed, when I don't have two hands free to open the phone to full width.
First thing you'll want to do is get the Samsung Z Fold6 protective case that has the S Pen in a snap-in holder. This pen doesn't seem to work on the small screen, but does on the full foldable one and it's great! Since this is an AI phone, the S Pen has many AI functions it can perform and I've been using it a lot. Read up on the AI capabilities, they really help doing many tasks.
Overall I'm happy, although the cost was the most I've ever paid for a phone (it was $600 less than my 1971 Chevy Vega brand new!).

detailedReviews 92: content: Wow, what a phone.
I was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Fold 6, my current phone was about 4 years old and having never had a folding one before I was excited to try it out, and I must say, wow, just wow, what a device.
First of all size, when folded the phone isn’t a lot bigger than must phones, I don’t know how thick previous Folds were, but the 6 is slimmer than I expected which is brilliant, it fits easily in my pocket.
The front screen is very usable, I have had the phone about a week now, and I can do pretty much everything with just the front screen if needed, text, and Whatsap, emails and internet browsing. The screen is narrower than a normal phone, but I found that after a day or two I was used to it.
Where this phone comes into its own is when you unfold – the full size screen is brilliant, not just the size, but the black levels and the brightness of the screen, I have it set too auto brightness and am able to read it clearly in even bright sun.
Browsing the internet in the full screen is great and playing games as well, especially ones that make full use of the screen. I’ve been playing a car racing game paired with a mini bluetooth game controller and it’s like having a games console with me at all time, this will be perfect for the plane and train when on holiday.
Battery life – I expected this to drain fast, but I’ve been very surprised, after a heavy day of usage, including listen to podcasts, watching videos and gaming, I thought that it would be flat, but the end of the day I was just under 40% battery, that is much better than my current phone, and this also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, so I can give my buds a charge by placing their case on the back if needed. Ideal when out and about and my earbuds run out of charge.
The AI features are amazing, especially being able to draw anything in a photo and letting AI turn it into something realistic, I also love the way you can make faces into cartoons or pencil sketches as well.
The build quality is very good, the fold mechanism is nicely stiff and sturdy, it doesn’t seem like it will break or become loose after so many open and closes.
Overall I’m very pleased with this phone, I used use a tablet for internet browsing whilst sat on the sofa but I no longer need to as the large screen is ideal on this phone. I would say that if you can afford it then definitely consider a Fold 6 as your next phone.

detailedReviews 93: content: I do a lot of social media promotion for work; since I started using the ZFold6 I've found content creation to be much easier! I know they say the cameras aren't great but I actually think they are perfect for the majority of my use cases. In addition to this, the S Pen is WAY MORE usable with the real-estate offered by the inner screen. I upgraded to the Fold5 Series SPen instead of the bluetooth enabled version, and I'm so glad I didn't waste the money on Air Actions!!! With the SPen, the ZFold6 is amazing! Love the room, love the flexibility it gives me for multitasking while planning out my social media backlog. Perfect for Spreadsheets as well. I don't think I'll ever go back to a basic candy-bar form-factor.
On to the topic of the outer screen; it's not bad. I absolutely love how the narrowed form-factor makes using the entire screen one handed very easy. I even watch YouTube on it at times just to have white noise entertainment while I am doing chores. I feel like the outer screen is way more functional to me in comparison to the S23 which I upgraded from.
Honestly, the ZFold6 was a great decision for me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who might ask.

detailedReviews 95: content: It's a fun, intuitive, & easy-to-read (for the "new-to-bifocal" generation) bigger than phone, smaller than tablet, opening space in your bag. Still playing with it, but so far-so-GOOD(but not GREAT)
I've been a die-hard Note-owner since Note 1. Now, I just swapped my Ultra for the Fold 6. I love Samsung, I'm impressed with upgrades & new tools! SO...I'm struggling to determine the reason(S) Samsung hasnt fixed these flaws or made changes (downgrades), especially given the price of these phones: 1) The wall-charger 2) A built-in S Pen slot/holder 3) CAMERA QUALITY >>>
1) I've got a few leftover USB to USB-C charging plugs, but when everyone went to USB-C to USB-C, all of those chargers became less significant & we all have to go buy a new charger for C-C connect AND the "super-fast charging" abilities are hit/miss. When you buy a $2000 TV, it typically includes A POWER CORD TO MAKE IT USABLE!! (Another $45)
2) S-pen & slot... come on!?! MANY consumer requests!! I don't want to buy a separate s-pen & I don't see why it requires a special case for pen & holder option (Another $100)
3) The camera downgrade!! Every aspect of the cameras & quality went DOWN!! Consumers upgrade for 2 reasons-Necessity or Desire for upgrades. Consumers watch the unboxing to see the "New Upgraded/Options"... I clearly missed the section where they showcased the downgraded cameras &/or WHY!?!?! THAT PART SPECIFICALLY created buyer remorse for me!
Hopefully, they'll listen to repeated requests soon!

detailedReviews 96: content: I upgraded from the Z fold 2 and this upgrade feels more like a complete evolution than just a new version.
Right away, the first thing I noticed was how much sleeker and lighter the Fold6+ feels. It’s thinner, the hinge is way more refined, and it folds completely flat now—which makes a surprising difference when slipping it into a pocket or bag. The outer screen is finally wide enough to feel like a “real” phone screen, unlike the narrower front display on the Fold2.
Once unfolded, the inner screen is even brighter and smoother, and the crease is much less noticeable. The refresh rate and responsiveness are incredibly fast, and multitasking feels snappier too. I love using multiple apps side by side, and now it feels more seamless than ever.
Performance-wise, it’s a huge jump. Apps open instantly, no lag at all, and it generally just works so smoothly. I love the Galaxy AI as it makes everyday tasks just a bit easier, I use it to study and summerize my test material which is extremely helpful.

detailedReviews 97: content: After spending a full day with the Fold 6, I can easily say it's an improvement over the Fold 4 I previously had in every way.
The Fold 6 is a fantastic device.
- Physical Dimensions & Weight
Starting on physical aspects, the phone is much thinner and lighter, being thinner and lighter thaj my preivous Fold 4 even with a case.
The device is also much easier to pocket now thanks to the sizing changes.
- Hinge & Crease
The hinge itself now feels much smoother, and feels to lock in place at either extremity in a much more definite and satisfying manner than the Fold 4. This makes it feel much more sturdy and durable.
The crease on the Fold 6 is also much reduced compared to the Fold 4, however even on the Fold 4, the crease just disappears when actually looking at the content on screen.
- Displays
In terms of the displays, both appear to have much higher peak brightness levels, making it much easier to use the device outside in bright sunlight.
The corners of the device are now far less rounded, which along with the marginal physical width and height changes end up providing a surprisingly large amount of extra space on both the outer and inner screens.
As usual with Samsung displays, the image quality itself is fantastic, colours pop amazingly and details are impeccable.
-- Cameras
When it comes to the cameras, I have not had much opportunity to test these in different scenarios so far, but the few photographs I have taken have all turned out fantastically. The front camera and inner display's under display camera are more than adequate for use cases such as video calling.
- Battery Life
The battery of the Fold 6 is pretty good, after 7 hours of sceen on time, 4 hours screen off time, with all features enabled (WiFi, GPS, Mobile Data etc.) Whilst moving around in areas with low and absolutely no mobile signal, the device lost 78% of its total battery.
- Performance
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 inside the Fold 6 is a very powerful chip, it is more than capable of performing any tasks you can throw at it with ease, the entirety of the OS is buttery smooth, games run perfectly, and multitasking is no problem at all.
- AI Features
Now the highlight features for the newest Samsung devices are definitely the new AI features.
Starting with the AI keyboard features, with the click of a button, it's possible to quickly compose entire paragraphs with just a short description in a number of different styles and with various tones.
You can also change the tone of text you have already written to make it better suit different scenarios. Useful for composing a formal email if not familiar with writing in a formal manner for example.
Then there's also a spelling and grammar checker, to give what you've written a proof read and fix any mistakes you may have made and not noticed.
I've not had the opportunity to test any of the AI powered translation features yet as I don't frequently communicate in unfamiliar languages so am unable to comment on the effectiveness of this particular feature.
In terms of photographs, the AI powered removal and movement tools are very nice to have, making it easy to select and move (or remove) any parts of a photograph and then quickly fill the void with reasonable content which generally looks very convincing.
The sketching feature is a neat thing to play around with, but I'm not 100% sure on when it would be a useful feature, however it could potentially be useful for artists to get some inspiration for how to proceed with a sketch perhaps?
It's possible to sketch either in the Samsung Notes app, or on physical paper and then take a photograph, then use the AI features to turn the sketch into a more realistic image again this is fun to play around with but I'm unsure as to where this would be a useful feature.
An AI feature I really enjoyed is the photo ambient wallpaper, this takes a photograph you have taken (or perhaps one you have downloaded from the internet) and will dynamically add effectiveness such as snow or rain, and change lighting making it darker or lighter, depending on the conditions in your current location it's definitely a nice feature to add a bit of variety and keep things fresh, whilst also providing a little bit of information at a glance of the device.
The last AI feature I have used in any real capacity has been the Browser Assistant features.
These empower Samsung Internet, and enable you to quickly derive a summary from the content of a Web page, a very useful way to cut the cruft, skip the ads and just get the key details from the page.
You're able to select the length of the summary to generate in case you wish to see more or less detail and it's been very useful for me so far.
This feature is also able to translate pages, however I've not yet tested this functionality.
- Value
The Fold 6 is unquestionably an amazing device, but the price is also undoubtedly high and you are paying a premium for the device. Personally I believe the device is worth the money, though the extra storage options are a little too much extra compared to the base price. However the price is definitely too high for many people. I believe the Fold 6 is priced into such a market that it works only for high end enthusiasts who have to have the best of the best.
- Conclusion
Overall, the Fold 6 is an amazing device. It offers marginal improvements over previous Fold devices, tackling some outstanding pain points but there may not be enough changes to switch, depending on your own preferences. For anyone new to folding devices however, the Fold 6 is by far the best device on the market, and I highly recommend it to anyone new to folding devices, and believe it's a great upgrade for people on older folding devices who want a newer device.

detailedReviews 98: content: Let's start with the overall phone. Surprisingly thin, lightweight, and has a powerful processor thanks to the snapdragon 8 gen 3. Able to multi task woth ease and did you know you can run 3 apps at the same time! The front screen is great for quick access to your phone and it's the go to for everyday use. When you are in need to have a mini tablet, just open it up and voila you have a beast of a phone at your fingertips. Compatible with the s pen which is responsive and useful when needed. AI is what sets these phones apart from previous years. You can use it on your phots, generate pictures, you think it, it can probably do it. Give it more time and these phones will be doing things you couldn't dream of. Need to summarize a meeting that was recorded, done. Need to translate your note to another language, easy. Need galaxy AI to summarize your notes, yup it can do that. Aside from the regular phone hardware and software it's reliable and quick. The ease in transitioning from the front screen to the full screen is easy. Samsung really worked on making this phone accessible to the common user. Is it excessive, absolutely. If it's within your budget, absolutely worth it.

detailedReviews 99: content: Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 6 has not disappointed. I upgraded from the S21 and have had it for about 3 weeks. Usage has been very snappy while running multiple apps whether it be games, videos, social media, etc. Battery life has been great, lasts pretty much all day only getting down to about 20% by bedtime. The way you can customize with themes both on the full screen and cover screen is great to really make it yours. Galaxy AI has been fun trying out with pictures how it can turn a portrait into cartoons, sketches, etc as well as being able to draw things into pictures it will add. The translation functionality works well too as I was able to have it translate to text a video in a different language. The circle to search functionality with Galaxy AI has been helpful as well and also the ability to summarize some of those search functions. The overall fit, feel, usability of the phone has been great, I love not having a moster phone hanging out of my pocket. Lots of apps are usable from the cover screen. I have greatly enjoyed everything about this phone so far and I'm sure I have yet to explore all of the available functionality.
