detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: Bought this keyboard for good price and I really like the red switches that my keyboard has because the sound is really good and not loud. And the layout of this keyboard is really fitting to me and happy with that. The RGB lights that the keyboard have is really good and and the modes is really nice. The quality of this keyboard is the best. I do recommend this keyboard to someone who wants to start game or typist and also people who wants a good gaming keyboard to game with and last long.

title: Bought this keyboard for good price and I...
detailedReviews 2: content: Disclaimer: I have very limited knowledge when it comes to mechanical keyboards C I ve only dedicated a few hours of my time researching on Reddit ( r/MechanicalKeyboards and on youtube ) while having a low budget of $60 at most. THERE IS NO LINK TO THE PRODUCT AS I AM NOT PROMOTING THE PRODUCT, I AM SIMPLY PROVIDING MY INSIGHTS.
I've brought Redragon in the past (K582) a few years ago which is a wired brown switch full keyboard and it is still my primary keyboard to this day - The K582 keyboard is great for office work as it had brown switches giving me feedback when typing fast as well as had a number pad .However, I didn t like how wide the keyboard was for when I was gaming and the keys felt rough when gaming (due to tactical feedback) so I wanted to get another Redragon, this time, with a smaller keyboard with red switches (no tactical feedback).
Today, I am reviewing the Redragon Deimos (K599-KRS) (Red switches) (roughly $50 after promos) based on the board s quality, performance, noise and features - In each of the categories, you will find upclose pictures of the keyboard and some videos to demonstrate some lighting modes and sounds.
Unboxing / Presentation (5 out of 5 stars): The keyboard came securely packed into a sleek black box with Redragon s branding imprinted onto the board and keyboard. Upon opening the box, you ll find the keyboard wrapped with some soft white cloth and comes with a 6ft USB-B to USB-C non-braided cable, a sticker, a manual, some extra red switches and keycap removal tools! So far, I am impressed with the presentation!
Board quality (5/5): Right off the bat, I immediately noticed two things - the keyboard is much smaller than my full keyboard and felt quite heavy for such a small thing (which is awesome!!). The keyboard s plastic is definitely sturdy and has some rubber feet so you can feel confident that it will not slide on your desk! It does come with two risers that lift the keyboard into a comfortable position. Rest assured, it will not flex even if you try.
The width of the keyboard is probably my favorite thing about this keyboard other than its wireless mode. The width allows me to play games comfortably as the keyboard and mouse both can ergonomically in front of me with my arms straight in front of me).
The USB dongle was hidden on the backside inside a small compartment and has a magnetic head that allows the USB dongle to snap into the keyboard so that you can travel without losing the USB dongle! I plugged the dongle into my computer and then turned on the keyboard - it immediately paired and worked out of the box.
On the left side, you ll find the turn on and off switch for the wireless functionality of the keyboard. Along with the switch is a LED light indicator for when the battery is running low and it is also where the USB-C Port is placed. The fact that the keyboard uses a USB C Port makes me very happy as it is future-proofing!
My only complaint so far is that the USB-C port is located on the left side of the keyboard rather than the backside which can be a bit awkward when using while plugged in (from the left rather than back of the desk).

Key Caps (5/5): The key-caps seem to be the same as my previous board, they re nice but probably not the best on the market. I do really like the transparency on the letters allowing light to shine through. You ll also notice that some keys will have media icons printed onto the keys which can be activated when pressing on the fn key (allows for media control while gaming). When I take the cap off and squeeze the button, it actually feels sturdy and not flimsy, unlike my first keyboard s caps! As for the switches, I can wiggle the key-cap ever so slightly, barely touching the keys around it which produces a very quiet key sound.
Switch Performance (5/5 gaming, 3/5 typing): Since I already had brown switches for my office work, I knew that this keyboard (red switches) would become my dedicated gaming keyboard (that was the point!).
Compared to the browns, the red felt much more comfortable to play with. Even without tactical feedback, I was able to press the keys knowing that it would be registered (I have happy-trigger fingers) - this felt great especially with racing games which felt smooth when pressing a key repeatedly when going around a corner in a racing game or moving quickly in CS:GO.
If you are looking for a keyboard that is more geared towards office work, definitely check out a keyboard with brown or blue switches and with a number pad This keyboard is not fun to type fast on and therefore I would swap for my brown keys.
Noise (4/5): We all know that switches, no matter which will have...

detailedReviews 3: content: I just received this Red Dragon Keyboard, and I'm going to a full review on it later, but I just wanted to make everyone aware that it works perfectly on Windows 10. I plugged in the USB wireless adapter and turned on the keyboard, and it took a second or two to recognize the keyboard.
No matter what the device is, there will be some guy posting a review about how it doesn't work with Windows 10. No, it works perfect in Windows 10. It's a YOU problem if for some reason it doesn't work.
For starters the keyboard has some weight to it, and it feels good. I rest it in my lap while gaming in the living room. It was pretty cheap as keyboards go, so who knows what is going to happen after some use, but right now it feels good to type on it, I'm using it to right this review, and there has been no disconnecting issues, so you can cross that off the list of BS reviews. I'm going to be using it to play Destiny 2 on my living room 4K television, so, if it starts disconnecting, I will be quick to change my review.
Other reviews claim it comes with no instruction manual, but that is clearly false as well. Check the included pictures, and yeah, it comes with a manual in several different languages, English being one of them. The manual fully covers changing the lighting. You will notice in my picture that the keyboard is green. It took 60 seconds to read through the manual and change the color to green, and stop the light pattern. It scrolls in all of its colors when you first power it on.
Another reviewer claimed it did not come with a key puller, when it clearly does. Check my pictures.
It feels great to type on. I'm not sure what type of keys these come close to, but it does make a little bit of noise, but not a lot. Scratch that, my wife just said its noisy, haha.
Anyways, for 50 dollars it seems to be a nice wireless keyboard. If anything major changes I'll update this review.
UPDATE: The keyboard does lose connection if I put the wireless adapter behind my PC. If I put it back in front there are zero issues, but it is something to consider if you don't have any free USB ports open on the front. You can always buy an extender.
The keyboard usb dongle gets interference from my wireless headset transmitter. I had to use an extender to move the keyboard usb away from my pc, and that solves the problem.

detailedReviews 4: content: Just received my K553 keyboard today, and have done a few typing tests with it. So far, everything is working perfectly. This is my first mechanical keyboard, however compared to a couple demo models of Razer mechanical keyboards, this one feels much better.
The keys are very crisp and feel great. Comparing the "MX Green equivalent" keys to a key-tester I had on hand, they feel very much like the Cherry MX Green keys as advertised.
They key spacing on the keyboard is perfect, and is not cramped or offset in any way. I can glide right across the keyboard without any issues or mistypes that I might have with other "gaming" keyboards with odd key spacing or key sizes.
I like the size of the font on the keys and the clarity of the LED backlights.
The LED backlighting is adjustable in brightness and also has a "breathing" function that can be turned "on" or "off". There is also a "windows" key lock function, which is handy for when gaming.
The build on this unit seems to be very quality; it is a heavy unit and the metal of the body of the keyboard has a very nice look and feel to it.
There is also a hotkey function which swaps the WASD keys for the arrow keys back and forth, which is a function I wasn't expecting but might prove useful in the future as well.
Overall, I don't think this keyboard could be beat for the current price. The size, function, fit and finish is just right. I will be sure to update my review in the future if I run into any quality issues but I don't see that being the case; hopefully I am right in thinking so. Very pleased with the purchase!

detailedReviews 5: content: First, I need to say that it is my first mechanical keyboard. I have used various Logitech keyboard and mouse combos over the decades. As my keyboard tray is relatively small, I was looking for a small TKL keyboard.
Pros:
1. As a software engineer, I frequently need the arrow keys, home, insert, delete, page up, and page down buttons. So, I need these buttons on a small keyboard, and Redragon K599 has these buttons within the minimum size of the keyboard.
2. I use Linux OS, and I cannot rely on Windows-based software to control the settings of RGB. Redragon K599 does not need any software to control the RGB settings. However, I am not an RGB fan. But man! The lights are fantastic!!! You can control the RGB using the keyboard keys and even turn it off to save battery.
3. I'm not too fond of small keys (e.g., Logitech MK360) as I type a lot, and also, I wouldn't say I like loud sounds for the same reason. This K599 is a small keyboard with large keys. As it has a linear switch, the sound is not as loud and clicky as blue switches.
4. RF dongle is more stable than a Bluetooth connection. K599 Deimos supports an RF dongle and a type C wired connection that makes it easy to charge with type C cables.
Cons:
1. Rarely it misses keyboard inputs.
2. It does not indicate the battery level. After a full charge, it could show the charging indicator as green.
3. Though it sounds good, there is some spring-like echo after pressing the keys.

detailedReviews 6: content: I actually returned a Corsair K65 RGB-LUX ($150 keyboard here people) to best buy because I felt like I wasn't getting my money's worth. To say this doesn't match my expectations is an understatement. Never in my life have a I bought a keyboard for even double the price of this one and received this type of quality. Do yourself a favor and buy 10 of them, lol.
edit; can't remember how long ago it was when I purchased this keyboard, but it's still going strong. Yet to have a problem so far... Definitely isn't as pretty after a while of use due to dirt/grime etc. But that's usual with any keyboard, just needs to be cleaned. When it has such a nice aluminum brushed finish, you want to keep it clean and nice looking. Great keyboard, again. I chose this one not just for the finish and the tenkeyless mechanical design and the price of course, but because it doesn't have a giant logo above the arrow keys. It has a small one with JUST the logo, no words, and it's small. This is the one to get. Heard ppl say something about driver problems with windows 10 with the RGB, no problems here. Probably used it on 5 or so windows 10 installs and never had a problem, nor on mac or anything else (I run mac/windows dual boot). Get this keyboard! Still think it's the best value.

detailedReviews 7: content: Great keyboard out of the box! At the time of this review, I picked this up for 50 dollars, and for that price, this is a steel of a keyboard if you'e looking for a cheap alternative to a cherry blue switch mech keyboard.
The light modes are great and bright! 7 modes in total will keep you entertained as well as a dazzling spectrum of color and options.
The type feel is that of a blue switch, but a bit lighter and hollow feeling. Not bad at all, again, for 50 dollars.
The asthetic of brushed (real) aluminum and gamer esque font on the keycaps give it a very stealthy and premium look when the lights are off, and an mlg quick-scoping machine when turned on "color-running" mode.
There are no cheap stickers or crappy, iiron-n fonts on this keyboard. Everything is either a badge, etched in, or doubleshot keycaps (discounting the product sticker on the back, nestled into the backplate so as not to peel off, so big plus there too).
One caveat is that it is not directly compatable with Windows 10, but there is a guide for that a few reviews back.
Great keyboard! This is what ill be running for quite awhile! 9/10

detailedReviews 8: content: I love, no, LOVE this keyboard.
* Small (TKL is the way to go, how often do you use the numbers block, really?)
* Solid build quality. Metal base adds perfect look and ensures your keyboard won't slide by adding some weight as well.
* Rubber pads on all 4 corners. AND on the extended legs.
* Perfect click sound and feel. I'm not too picky on this regard but the cherry mx keyboards I've tried before are of a comparable feel and quality, even though this keyboard sports some "custom switches", in my case looks like outemu blues but I'm not 100% sure.
* Fully customizeable and actually nice looking RGB backlight. It has built in memory for your programmed configuration and some cute looking presets that I think I actually will use without fear of having a christmas tree in front of me. Most built-in presets that have some sort of movement have configurable speed so that you can slow it down to a comfortable level. I enjoy setting it to full rotation through the colors and slowest speed so that the change is imperceptible if you look at the keyboard but if you glance at it every once in a while it will be different color each time :)
* Standard changeable keycaps. Don't like black caps or the font on the supplied ones? Buy any other caps you like.
* Did I mention the satisfying click?
* For under $70 this is likely the best mechanical keyboard with so many features. There are even cheaper chinese knock-offs but none come close in terms of feature set and many reviews are mentioning quality issues (as expected).
The only con I had is that it didn't work on Windows 10 out of the box, which I'm guessing is on windows, not on redragon. They don't even advertise win 10 support, however it works perfectly on 10 if you do the following:
(I found this solution by googling for it in about 10 seconds, this was in amazon review of a similar redragon keyboard, authored by Engr. Jay Mendoza)
WINDOWS 10 SOLUTION
? If you are using Windows 10, it may require a bit more work. This is what you have to do:
1. Open Device Manager. (Press Windows Key, type "Device Manager", press Enter)
2. Look for to "Universal Serial Bus controllers", and expand it (click the '>' button).
3. Look for "ND-tech USB adapter" created by the keyboard. (If there are more than one, reinsert they keyboard to see which one.)
4. Right-click on that and choose "Update Driver software"
5. Choose and click "Browse my computer for driver software."
6. Choose and click "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer."
7. Choose "USB composite device" and click Next and proceed from there.
8. You should see two entries under Keyboards called "HID Keyboard Device".
9. Congratulations. Enjoy your new keyboard.

detailedReviews 10: content: Perfect key size for my hands. I can type faster and more accurately than all the other keyboards I have tried.
Well built solid device. I like the colors I can put on the keys. Minimal keypress sound unlike other mechanical type keyboards I have tried in the past.
Only complaints I have are not with the keyboard-the damn small writing in the user manual. I had to use a magnifier to read. Also, you should make an FAQ section for first timers like me. Maybe a tutorial guide or at least point to one somewhere as I had a problem trying to figure out what the hyroglyphics was trying to tell me ! lol. It took a while trying to figure out how to create solid non flickering colors on the keyboard
Love this keyboard!!
