detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I have the ROG Strix Flare, which I liked, but found increasingly difficult to use as arthritus worsens. The brown switches were great at first, now much harder to type on without my fingers cramping up. Not great for a software developer, or an older gamer. I tried 3 different brands of keyboards, and this one I'm going to keep. I love the quiet keys and they are much easier to type then the brown switches I was used to. I wanted a keyboard that synced with my ASUS motherboard ram temperatures, and at the very least had decent backlighting. The lighting on this could be brighter. The top row can be harder to see. This board will blink out when rebooting, which makes the keys impossible to see, until it resyncs with the OS at login screen. Could be a problem with Armoury Crate. I had to roll back it back a version. If you're a night owl, like me coding and rebooting in the dark, that's an issue. Despite the lighting, which only goes out briefly, I'm very pleased with this keyboard. I like the feel of these antipersperant keys, the wrist rest is really a considerate bonus. I lke the placement and size of the volume knob, which has a firm soft click of the wheel, easy to find in the dark. If the board was brighter, it would have gotten another star.

title: Good for arthritis, quiet keys, but lighting could be brighter
detailedReviews 2: content: Nice keyboard. The keys arn't hard to use and it is really nice to type with. Even though I measured it, it actually seems smaller than what I expected, which is nice. Love the volume button! I put mine an a solid bright blue as sometimes the font is hard to see on the keys. I have only bound the right hand number keys which was easy to do in game, I havn't messed about with the F1-F8 keys. The software is confusing, but I only used it to set the colour, but that was confusing in itself. But I do like the little robot that runs around my laptop screen, it's a cute addon. I use an external monitor, so it dosn't interfere with me. Overall I like this keyboard, it has everything I need at a great price. It has made me love typing again as the keys arn't big and clunky like some keyboards and it has nice spacing between keys. I would buy again.

title: Nice keyboard, compact, love the volume button
detailedReviews 3: content: Very disappointed with this keyboard for two reasons.
First, it's very difficult to read the letters and numbers unless you are directly above it looking straight down on it, in part due to it's shallow angle, but also because the etching on the keys is in a strange font!
Secondly, and this was important to me personally, in every picture I saw of this keyboard, including those on the Asus website, it had a wide left shift key, mine does not, and several others have since confirmed this to be common.
Strangely enough, the one feature I make most use of is the volume knob!

detailedReviews 4: content: You see only half of each key letter when you put the brightness on med or max. Unless you put the keyboard on 90' vertical, you don't see the letter properly.

title: Half key letters unlit at medium/max brightness
detailedReviews 5: content: It looked great but I could not use it because the keys were so unevenly lit from beneath they were illegible! The top half of most keys were unlit. So, 7 was a /, T was a I, O was a u. I returned it.

detailedReviews 6: content: A functionally rich and aesthetically pleasing keyboard but unfortunately, the model I received seems to be from a flawed batch where the tops of some characters appear to be truncated when viewed from a normal typing angle e.g. the letter "O" looks like "U". This seems to be a manufacturing printing error, which, combined with the keyboard backlight, is producing the effect.
The reseller replaced the keyboard but the substitute had the same issue and I was informed that all of these keyboards that were checked were similar. My assumption is that this is not a normal "feature".
I am attaching a photo, which hints at the issue but would comment that my experience when using the keyboard is that the characters are harder to distinguish than the picture suggests.

detailedReviews 7: content: It's an ok/good keyboard for the money and better than my previous, Only thing that lets it down is the led lighting on the upper parts of each letter, unless you are sitting directly above the keyboard you tend to loose the top half of the letter or number. Might not be an issue of more expensive keyboards and will probably upgrade at some point.

detailedReviews 8: content: The name says it all. Look and feel is ver sturdy. A little bit plastic-y but looks "tuf". Could have more function keys without fn using the Fn button. RGB is a bit limited but still great.

detailedReviews 9: content: Beautiful keyboard, with pleasant and soft-touch keys, in addition to pleasant colors and configurations. The negative side is the dark keys and in a well-lit environment, with natural light for example, it is almost impossible to see the characters.
