items: items 1: content: I used to never wear lipstick. Every kind I tried I hated because it either tasted bad or left a terrible texture or needed to be touched up too often, not to mention that I simply never could find a color I liked well enough to make up for the drawbacks. I’m quite pale with a warm undertone, blue-green eyes and brown hair. Sheer tints and coral shades work sometimes but are usually too pink and end up looking immature for my age. Beige/brown neutrals make me look dead. This lipstick is a game changer! Ever since trying Super Stay Matte Ink in the shade Harmonizer, I’ve been hooked and wearing it almost every day. Harmonizer is a red that is finally warm enough. It is almost orangey, a red without any pink to it. Pink-reds look weird on me and even most classic reds don’t work, so it is amazing to find this one. It stands out but isn’t too bright and bold, and isn’t too dark either. I like to dab a little on and then spread it with a finger for a thinner layer. Looks opaque and not patchy. I rub my stained fingers on my upper cheekbones for a hint of blush. The only negative is that this lipstick by itself is not moisturizing, but I am okay with that. It makes me take better care of my lips to keep them from being so flaky. I usually apply a little balm on top, ELF Hydrating Core Lip Shine specifically.
The only other color I’ve tried is Globetrotter, which I also adore. It is more of a neutral on me, a toasted matte coppery reddish orange-brown that looks a little darker than Harmonizer. Globetrotter is great for lipstick days when I don’t want to wear an outright red.
I’m interested in trying other colors of this same lipstick but nervous since I can’t find accurate swatches comparing them. I’d really like to know how Hustler and Ground-Breaker compare to the colors I’ve tried.

items 2: content: I received the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in 501 Charmer in exchange for my honest review. These truly are some of the best liquid lipsticks at the drugstore. This color is a little dark for me but I've tried others and the shade range is fantastic. The formula and application is also great on these. They're very pigmented and fully cover in one coat without having to go back over which is great to keep it from getting too thick. The applicator tip is the perfect shape to get a crisp, clean edge without lip liner (pictured) and still fill in the whole lip with ease. It has a subtle, sweet, inoffensive scent and no real taste. It's a liquid lip so it will dry your lips out throughout the day and it does rub off some when you eat but not any worse than any other brand I've tried. Would definitely recommend!

items 3: content: The SuperStay Matte Ink liquid lipstick is one of my top 3 go to lipsticks! The wide array of colors, tones and even some shimmer shades at an affordable price is amazing. The formula is what stands out the most for me as it has incredible pigment, very opaque, smudge and transfer proof after drying and stays on almost all day and night! (Depending on what you may drink or eat or if it comes incontact with something oily) I used to hate wearing lipstick because after an hour or so it never looked as good as when you first applied. This gives you definition with out needing lipliner because of the pigment and formula working with the amazing aplicator working like a liquid lipliner at tge edges. It is blendable before drying giving it versatility. You only need a very thin layer to get the job done and actually the thinner the application the longer and better it will wear. Too thick of an application will cause some flaking or uneven texture leading to a drying feeling and blotchy color. It does stain your lips depending on the shade. Micelar water and a little oil or oul based cleanser removes it very well. PLEASE make sure to replace your products based on their expiration date as any liquid product dries out and will no longer perform as it should.

items 4: content: The color range is so good, and these do stay on for a very long time, but they don't wear well. These look and feel so heavy. They go on so saturated and thick they crack with regular speaking or smiling. Voyager is so so pretty and I really wish this was better because I love that color, but it made me self conscious to smile or speak to people. It leaves a hard line on the inside of the lip where the lipstick stops and it looks so odd. I drank water with a straw while wearing this and it peeled up in the center of my lip after a few drinks and pilled. Also, I had swatched this on my hand and went to wash my hands to get it off, the lipstick came off my hand in weird strings and stuck to the inside of my sink. When I tried to wipe it off, it smeared all over and I had to get a cleaner spray and a scrubber to get it off the side of my sink. It was gross.

I feel confident ALL day long that my lips look amazing when I wear this stuff! The colors are vibrant. It doesn't dry my lips out like most matte lipsticks. My favorite color is 112 Composer! I always keep at least 5 containers of it because I am so afraid they will discontinue it. That shade was made for me! Everytime I find a great color, it gets discontinued. feels like thick, dry cement on my lips. It's difficult to remove and dries my skin. The colour is strong - that's the only good thing I can say about this product. Why not call it Superstay Cement? At least that would give the consumer a better idea of the qualities of this product.
In addition, the names of each colour do not help at all in choosing a shade. There are no samples in the drug store, there's no choice but to guess what the colours actually are. For example, I was looking for a burgundy red but not too dark. With help from the store clerk, I finally decided on 80 Ruler. The colour works for me but unfortunately the formula does not. Therefore, I wasted my time and money on this less-than-adequate product.

items 8: content: I received this Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Moodmakers Lipstick in the shade Pleasure Seeker complimentary from Influenster and the brand in exchange for my honest review. Full disclosure: this color isn’t one I would normally choose for myself. It’s a vibrant coral orange that leans a tad neon. It’s not a bad color in general, I just personally feel that orange makeup washes me out, I don’t have the complexion for it. Now onto the lipstick itself: I applied it according to the instructions, top lip first then the bottom. Less is more when applying, this is a pigmented product so you don’t need to slather it on. Once I applied and let it dry, I was impressed with how clean and precise the edges of my lips looked. The doe foot applicator is very easy to use. I wore this lipstick for 10 hours (eating and drinking and living life during that time) and by the end of the day, it had rubbed off almost completely in the middle of my bottom lip and just slightly settled into my lip lines. But overall, I was impressed with how well it wore. This matte liquid lipstick didn’t dry out my lips as much as I thought it would. It was fairly comfortable to wear, it did maintain a somewhat sticky texture even after drying down. But I think that is what helped it not suck all of the moisture out of my lips. In conclusion, I was pleasantly surprised by the long-wearing formula of this lipstick. So although I’m not a huge fan of this color, I will gladly consider buying another shade.

I’d totally rock it. I have almost every color and I love making ombré effects with them. items 12: content: The color I chose (430 Meditator) appeared on screen to be more of a nude/natural lip color, which is what I usually lean towards when choosing a lip color. Even in person, it appears a little more neutral than the actual product and when you open and look at the actual product on the applicator, it still doesn't look as orange as it does when you put it on. I always steer clear of any orange-tinted color and choose a cool tint over a warm tint because I noticed long ago that orange was a really bad color of lipstick on me. So, I wish I would have chosen differently, but there weren't many options for me to begin with. I think I would have had a much easier time choosing a color in-person. However, despite it being the wrong shade choice for me, the actual product itself seems very high quality and has staying power. I had to borrow my daughter's makeup remover (which I normally don't need for the types of makeup I use) just to get it off my lips. It is super stay, just as the name implies. It is matte. It comes in a nice, high quality tube and I love that the smiley faces matched the shirt my daughter was wearing. That was kinda funny and I told her, hey we match! I think this product was geared toward younger people, but it doesn't scream teeny-bopper either. I would recommend for those in their late teens and twenties. But you're only as young as you feel and if you like smilies and emojis, then this is for you,no matter what your age. Just keep in mind you will need makeup remover or mineral oil to remove it.

items 13: content: The "Ruler" shade is a lovely deep pink/magenta color with a reddish undertone. I like that it is not too purplish/cool toned of a magenta so that it can be more of a mauve-like shade when worn as a light/sheer layer. I like to dab a bit and sheer it out so it doesnt look as deep on my lips and can be a more everyday shade. As expected, this formula is transfer proof, however I personally do not like the feeling of liquid lipstick on my lips (it feels drying). I wear a lipbalm over or under this to make it feel less dry, but in result it is no longer transfer-proof, but I do find it still sticks to my lips more than a typical lipstick would even with the lip balm. These days however I find myself preferring products that leave a stain behind, so I would reach for a lip stain balm over something like this.
