detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: Honest Review of ASUS TUF F15 FX507VV and VivoBook S14 OLED
I purchased the ASUS TUF F15 FX507VV, and on the very first day, the BIOS and Windows OS got corrupted after I followed the update instructions given by ASUS ROG store staff. They told me to update through Windows Settings and the MyASUS app. While the MyASUS app update was successful, updating through Settings crashed the entire system.
I was very angry and frustrated, and I had to waste one full week visiting the ASUS service center and the store where I bought it.
Then after 2 months, I also faced physical display damage, which made things worse.
This is actually my second ASUS laptop. Earlier, I had purchased the ASUS VivoBook S14 OLED from the same ASUS ROG store, which had even more issues—both software and hardware problems, especially overheating during normal work.
Problems I Faced:
TUF F15 FX507VV: BIOS failure on Day 1, OS crash, poor speaker quality, bad design, and later physical damage.
VivoBook S14 OLED: Frequent software crashes, heating issues, and unstable performance.
My Opinion:
I do not recommend ASUS laptops anymore. I will be sharing proof with photos and videos on social media, Amazon, ASUS official website, and other platforms where these laptops are sold.
In my opinion, if ASUS wants a positive review from me, they must provide a better laptop for free—not another TUF or VivoBook.
For others, I strongly recommend HP, Dell, or Apple MacBooks instead. They are far more reliable, well-built, and better for long-term use.

detailedReviews 2: content: I purchased ASUS TUF F15(FX507VU-LP210W) with Intel I7-13620H processor and NVDIA RTX 4050 6GB VRAM GPU and 16 GB DDR5 5200MT/s RAM of MICRON and 512 GB Gen 4 SSD of WD with maximum 5000 MBPS read speed. The product performed at it's peak performance according to it's specifications till now. I tested for many heavy games and performance. It really works perfect with 1080p 16:9 FHD 144 hz display. The battery backup is obviously nice since it has 90 Whr Battery and the charging time is also very less since it comes with 240 watt power brick with 16 A big (3 pin)power adaptor. The thermals are perfect if you use this laptop at a perfect height by maintaining sufficient gap between the bottom surface and table. The temperature of the room should be under 24 degrees Celsius to get optimum thermals from this laptop. Since this has intel high powered processor(115 watt tdp) and high powered NVDIA GPU(140 watt tgp) so huge geat generation is expected and sufficient airy space between the bottom surface and the laptop is always necessary. The webcam quality is also decent but 1080p was expected from this range. The ports are sufficient only a sd card slot was expected for storage expansion purpose. Otherwise overall this product from ASUS is extremely perfect from build quality to performance and looks.

detailedReviews 3: content: I'd 100% recommend it to anyone. For a "Budget." Gaming laptop, it's outstanding! Get off the fence and just buy it. You won't regret it. After years of cloud gaming on an all-rounder laptop, I'm so glad I finally took the plunge and bought this after every couple of months comparing and reading reviews on many gaming laptops I've not looked back. The build quality is amazing. The features blew me away, unboxing it was ridiculously exciting, as if I was a kid at Christmas again. The bonus backpack and mouse were the icing on the cake, adding to the experience. It plays all the latest games without a hitch with plenty of memory to get you started. The sound quality isn't perfect I found for gaming, but playing music and videos is great, and the screen is not the brightest, but after a few days and sessions, I don't even notice anymore and of course you can always adjust the settings in game. I love the fact that the keyboard lights up with the option to switch it off if you'd prefer. It's got plenty of ports and hearing about gaming laptops naturally overheating. I've not experienced anything like I'd of imagined, and it's lovely and quiet. If this is to be your first ever gaming laptop, then this is a great entry-level, and you won't be disappointed.

detailedReviews 4: content: The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is an incredible value for the performance you are getting. While most company's cut corners in the worst possible places on their budget "gaming" laptops such as using comically underpowered GPUs with reduced graphics RAM and entry-level CPUs, ASUS gives you a full 140 watt 8GB RTX 4070 coupled with a powerful 14 Core i7-12700H. They also include a 240W power supply to ensure you can run these components at maximum performance, although you also have the option of 100W power delivery over USB-C.
I did upgrade the 16gb of ram it came with to 32gb, which is the only real bottleneck the system comes with, and I highly recommend this inexpensive upgrade to greatly improve overall system performance. The TUF F15 was very easy to upgrade too, simply removing a few screws and popping off the bottom panel gives you access to upgrade the RAM as well as an empty PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot that I installed a 2TB SSD drive into.
Benchmarking with Passmark the TUF F15's i7-12700H scored a 29,400 CPU Rating with a 3,799 Single Thread CPU Rating, and its uninhibited RTX 4070 scored a 1,004 2D Graphics Mark and 20,333 3D Graphics Mark, all significantly above Passmark's listed average for similar hardware, and all impressive for a laptop especially at this price point.
A word on the display, the 1080p resolution might seem a little low on paper, however you can run most games at absolute maximum graphics settings with the RTX 4070 only having to drive the 144hz 1080p G-Sync display. And honestly on a 15 inch display gaming on 1080p looks fantastic.
Some more premium features found on more expensive gaming laptops such as metal construction, mechanical switch keyboards, and per-key RGB lighting zones are going to be missing on the TUF F15. This might be a turn off to some, but for the performance you are getting for the price, I say ASUS made the best possible decisions when budgeting this laptop.

detailedReviews 5: content: Sorry to put it this way but this laptop is quite buggy and incompatible with older software. I'm not positive if it's because of the Windows 11 Home Edition operating system or the preinstalled ASUS software. Whatever the case may be I still haven't made a lot of progress making this machine user friendly. Another huge drawback I am encountering is how quickly and completely the CPU and the GPU want to overheat. It's as if this machine was overclocked at the factory. I cannot run even 15 year old low end graphics games without the fans running at over 5000 rpm. Then there's a problem with refreshing the screen and reclaiming focus from the open windows that prevent me from using any desktop software I installed myself. I use a game controller as a mouse on my desktop and for some strange reason whenever I have certain windows open or close other windows I have lost all ability to input commands to my game controller without always having to left click on the built in touchpad to give my game controller focus. I am also curious to know who came up with the idea of left clicking or right clicking on an all inclusive touchpad without keeping the left and right click buttons separate. It is too easy to make errant clicks or taps when I'm only trying to left or right click once. And please explain to me why I need 3 of Page Downs, Page Ups, Homes and Ends keys on the same keyboard. This makes regular keyboard shortcut mapping almost impossible as there are not enough keys that I can map individually without having a conflict of the keys having been mapped without a reference as to what those keys control. And speaking of shortcuts and mapping why is it that I cannot find any reference to what buttons on my game controller do what when I have the Microsoft Xbox Bar running and my Xbox 360 game controller connected by Bluetooth? And this is the most disappointing issue I have of all and have no solution to it. I cannot control what programs run from the Nvidia graphics card and what ones run from the Intel integrated graphics. I get thousands of frames per second on some games and there's no way to slow it down. I feel so disappointed from the apparent lack of an adequate owners manual so I am able to work my way through theses endless and bothersome glitches. I hope there are fixes for all of this in the future but for now I cannot possibly recommend this particular laptop to anyone.

detailedReviews 6: content: This Asus TUF F15 15.6" FHD 144Hz Gaming Laptop with Core i7-13620H and 16GB RAM is definitely robust, top notch and multitasking device which is providing me super smooth gaming experience. First of all the device is beautiful and attractive. The construction is military grade and durable, its bit heavy but its reasonable due to performance. I assume it will stay with me in same condition for a longer period. The keys on the keyboard are soft and has back light with attractive colors and effects. The speed is remarkable, which is required for perfect gaming sessions. It has Core i7-13620H processor. It handles heavy gaming, loading, installation and processing with much ease. Display and picture quality and sound are unbeatable which elevates the gaming fun furthermore. 1TB SSD Storage is ample, you can store good amount of games in your library but still nowadays games require more space so I would need some more space. The thing which is must to talk about is its cooling system, as during and after intense gaming session this device cool down quickly and gets ready for another session. The laptop has got essential ports/connectivity options. Totally worth the price.
This Asus TUF Gaming F15 is definitely worth considering gaming laptop which can handle speed demanding games with ease. I will definitely recommend it to my fellow gamers.

detailedReviews 7: content: This laptop off the rip has been a mixed bag for me. I genuinely enjoy how well it runs games but only when it’s plugged in. It seems that they significantly reduce the quality of everything when it’s running off the battery and it only has lasted 3 hours maximum for me. It has lots of potential and i still absolutely love it. With the high end specs and good price; I think it was worth the buy. If you are looking to travel with this laptop for longevity / battery life purposes then i would strongly recommend something else. Besides that, im running triple A games on the highest settings running about 200 fps which is fantastic. I love the sleek build although it is a fingerprint magnet. It is a solid laptop. Would recommend for a lower budget.

detailedReviews 8: content: I was given this laptop to attempt to fix it having an issue and keep it as my own. The issue is mostly motherboard related. I know this from articles about the overall laptop design and how the majority go BOOM within the end of the warranty, warranty expired on 09/01/2024 and the issue started at around 09/10/2024. Basically, the computer shut off and wouldn't react to anything; however, it had a battery idicator, let you clear cmos/rtc and had no power indicator. It refused to boot up, I managed to get it after holding the power button down for 2 minutes and BAM it booted right up, did a reset, but on restart it started the whole process of holding down the button for 2 minutes. It booted back up, said it was updating, then restarted, aas well as the process to get it to turn on. So after a third time of holding it down for 2 minutes, it booted up, had the ASUS post image, then shut off and now it won't turn back on. I sell these guys at Staples all the time, but now I am going to refuse to sell them after all the bad that I have heard about the F15.

Good cpu and gpu.
Sturdy build. Good keyboard shortcuts.
Audio is great but isnt that loud.
Should have had ms office.
You can really feel the heat while operating exteral mouse from right side, while doing cpu or gpu intensive task. or even near center of keyboard(though the keyboard part u can ignore as we do not generally tough it while using)
the camera is horrible.. its like taking us back to 2010's mobile camera.
Anyone buying this laptop but ddr5 16 gb addition ram and atleast 512 gb or 1gb (preferred) ssd as provided ssd will fill up within couple of week. Ram can sustain(still 32 is new norm these days).
Overall great product.

The different settings for performances and stuff is a great feature. Highly recommend for studying engineering. The price was pretty steep, so i had to buy it on afterpay but thats a necessary sacrifice if you want to have a good laptop for engineering. I love the light up keyboard; it gives a great aesthetic and the different aura patterns and color settings for these are great. Easy to set up and easy to use.overall its a great product as long as you dont mind carrying a heavy laptop and having access to a power outlet to charge it.

detailedReviews 11: content: This is the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life: purchasing the Asus TUF laptop. Just a day after I bought it, the screen turned half black while I was watching YouTube. After some time, I was able to fix it, but within two or three days, another issue arose. The default screen saver activated, and the laptop's sound system completely failed. I had to restart the entire laptop to get the sound back. Yesterday, the screen went completely black. All of this has happened within just 20 days! I strongly advise everyone, including my friends and YouTube subscribers, to avoid buying any products from this company. I want a full refund of my down payment and to get this piece of junk out of my house.

detailedReviews 12: content: The last PC/laptop I purchased was in 2010, been using my ipad since. I wanted to get back into WoW and other games, and also having a laptop with more functionality. I purchased a different laptop but it kept crashing so I took it back for this one. I’m glad I did. The keyboard on the ASUS is set up great for gaming. I love the WASD keys stand out and other sets of functions like sound are separate, too. It runs very cool, I have running WoW through HDMI to the TV and even after a few hours it still feels cool. I don’t even hear the fans running. There is zero lag to the games, graphics are on ultra and look great. It doesn’t help me play any better, though. Money can’t buy everything, I guess. Now I have an ASUS TUF, ASUS GTX-1100 router, ASUS AI-Mesh system, I am all set.

detailedReviews 13: content: Big bang for your bucks! I love this machine. I had the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo that I paid 3x the price i paid for this. 5x actually if you count the price I paid to replace the motherboard after 1 year exactly. And to think its a year after that and a few months and its completely dead.
This Bad Boy has an RTX 4070, a major upgrade from the 2070 the $3500 Zephyrus Duo cost me. Excuse me, $5500 it cost me. I paid less than $1000 for this F15 and was able to purchase the 3 year extended warranty with the extra savings from my budget. I'm able to play World of Warcraft with Ultimate settings while doing graphic design on Illustrator seamlessly. I tried streaming on the Zephyrus Duo while gaming and it was a no-go. But on this F15, I streamed for a whole hour while playing WoW and the streaming quality, CPU, Memory, etc were all in the green!!
The camera is cool. May be better with some real lighting but It produced crystal clear resolution during the stream with just the window lighting and some LEDs in the background. I like the Aura Lighting Effects, and the ability to have the Aura Wallpaper on both the F15 and the TUF GAMING VG279QR at the same time, along with the ROG SPATHA X Mouse, makes it even more worth it. Another feature of the Zephyrus Duo that didn't function properly.

detailedReviews 14: content: Had the ASUS F15 Gaming PC for less than 1 week, but so far very pleased. The laptop feels solid and well made, with sound keyboard and a screen with vibrant colours. The range of ports is good and included Thunderbolt 4, which I needed. Prior to purchase I sought detailed advice on the ports, since I want to connect to specific external monitors. I was answered quickly by the customer service agent, who was helpful and well informed. The performance feels fast and stable, though that is subjective assessment. It took around 24 hours overall to fully update Windows 11, but that is Microsoft issue, and probably standard for any laptop. So overall, after one week, very satisfied with purchase.

detailedReviews 15: content: I bought this laptop a couple of weeks ago after my previous one stopped working. I'm not a gamer; I purchased this laptop for school and personal use only. I experienced some lag with my last laptop (also an Asus) while attending online classes and completing schoolwork. I figured that a gaming laptop would be able to handle more than I required. So far, I was right—it's been great! It's fast, and the graphics look fantastic. I hope to keep this laptop just as long as my previous Asus, which lasted 10 years. I did run into an issue with my warranty when I registered it, but I contacted customer service and they very quickly resolved the matter.

detailedReviews 16: content: I had to get a computer quick after my many years old msi died and this seemed like a good option based on my needs and the specs provided. Ive been very disappointed as my 6-7 year old msi ran smoother (before it crashed) than this computer does brand new. There are issues with the fans not turning on causing throttle and overheating, there is lag when there should not be, and there have been problems with coming out of sleep fully. If you use discord also prepare to not be able to share your screen or stream anything in that way.
Also worth mentioning I have ruled out other things like wifi so it's not that.
The things that have been nice are: the size and weight, the frame doesnt feel too flimsy, and I was able to add an extra ssd. Although the computer only came with a 512gb ssd which seems like very little space for a gaming laptop, at this price point that's to be expected. Also the laptop can handle all of my regular remote work from my job for the most part.
I like other ASUS products, however, overall I would not recommend this machine. If you are an extremely casual gamer who also knows how to manage the basics of a computer (ie. Deal with the fan issue) it might be okay, but otherwise save up for something else and save yourself the frustration.

Problems like blue screen, half display working, youtube and other process are laging when using without charger....I request for a replacement within 3rd month of warenty but no action was taken. detailedReviews 18: content: I had to replace an aging Win10 laptop and even though I did not want a gaming machine this machine was the best available for the price.
Win 11 64 bit, a 10 core i7 processor and 16gb convinced me. Two weeks later and multiple downloads to get the OS up to date the machine is nicely styled, fast and problem free, although one software pack would not run on it (not a big loss).
Downsides; I am not loving the changing keyboard colours though they can be turned off. The keyboard characters are quite difficult to read, my old ASUS laptop keys were much easier. Lastly, the power pack is quite a brick though I have space for it.
If it lasts as well as my old machine I will be happy.

detailedReviews 19: content: "Performance and speed are great. However, the battery life is extremely disappointing. It barely lasts an hour, which is very frustrating. If Asus wants TUF to be a strong brand, they should improve the battery quality. Since it is marketed to gamers and professionals in fields like ethical hacking and cybersecurity, these fields demand high-performance devices, especially when purchasing laptops. Therefore, I believe you should address the battery issues affecting your laptops and users. If resolved, the laptops would sell as easily as butter melts on hot toast."

detailedReviews 20: content: It's everything I expected, it works great.
Though I did encouter an issue where the screen's color balance is terribly biased towards green.
Out the box it worked fine, but after a while it just switched to a greenish tint.
I suspect it might have been a loose wire in the monitor or at least some sort of hardware problem, I fixed the issue by recalibrating the colors using the windows screen calibration.
But I fear for the possibility of the hardware problem getting worse over time.
I'm not completely sure though, it may also be a software problem.
I terms of performance it runs really well, especially when kept clean and optimized.
I do think that the cooling can allow the computer to reach dangerous temps, but I suppose that's a given for gaming laptops.
The screen isn't very bright, it's bright enough where it doesn't bother me, but it's better used in a dim room, ASUS had to save money somewhere.
All in all, I'm fairly happy with the product, I suppose I'll just have to take care of the thing and perhaps take it to a service center sometime while my warranty is still good.

I attempted to take the back off for routine maintance and found that a dodgy screw had been forced into the thread. Which i couldnt unscrew or screw back. There were also a couple screws missing which i hadnt noticed until i looked at the back. I have spares though so wasnt really a problem.
I had some emails back and forth with support and they took the easy route and blamed me for the fault and voided the warranty.

detailedReviews 22: content: Needed a new laptop after the GPU in my old ASUS ROG gave up. After checking out reviews, it looked like the ASUS TUF F15 would be a good fit - i don't need the highest spec, just a good solid machine. SO far it has proved to be just that.
I tend to play older games rather than any of the new AAA titles, so its not so much hard work - the machine handles anything i have thrown at it so far without breaking a sweat....as in no fans even kicking in.
Build quality seems really solid, the RTX 4070 easily outmatches anything i could put its way, Keyboard is great and it has Thunderbolt and USB C as well as the usual USB and HDMI, so connections are all great.
Overall i am really happy with this purchase.

detailedReviews 23: content: My previous review has been removed by me, as I discovered a way to fix the main issue that caused me to give it a middling score. Previously my complaint was that there was a problem with the wireless card that causes the internet to constantly fluctuate between normal and unusable, however after posting that review I discovered that the specific wireless LAN card used in the laptop actually has a newer updated driver that for some reason is not included in windows updates; and has to be tracked down and downloaded manually from the site. Upon installing this driver update, the internet problems have been fixed and as such, I can now look at this laptop objectively without that issue weighing my opinion of it down. This laptop is a fantastic budget gaming laptop, its only real cons being its small size (which many might see as a plus) and the colour of the screen when in battery mode as opposed to to plugged in; a problem many gaming laptops deal with and is more or less a simple weakness you have to take with the territory. Since it uses an SSD, its lightning fast when compared to gaming laptops that use an HDD which are notorious for growing ridiculously slow. (I would also like to thank and apologize to the representative who replied to my previous review and hope this updated review will satisfy everyone on the end result). Windows 11 has taken some getting used to, and I still personally think Windows 10 has a better UI, but it does the job perfectly fine. My one recommendation to ASUS and newegg would be to perhaps in the future, include a sheet of paper or such with shipments to warn them about the issue and fix regarding the wireless card, as my investigations online have led me to conclude that this is a fairly common issue with that specific brand and model; and people who are less tech inclined may find themselves unable to figure out how to fix it. As a final aside, I had worried before the laptop was shipped to me that I would have to rummage through its settings to enable tap clicking on the touchpad instead of using the buttons beneath it; as reviews I had seen online suggested would be needed, however it seems since those reviews were published its now been enabled by default which meant I didn't have to do so, which is a nice positive.

Upgrading is simple, a few screws on the back and I have added more ram and an extra SSD drive, nice of Asus to add these extra slots.
Setup was a breeze and using Armory Crate you can setup your own profiles to switch between work or gaming.
I highly recommend Asus products and my new laptop is no exception.

detailedReviews 25: content: I have owned the computer for around 2.5 years. For the first 6 months, I had no problems with the device. However, after this period I have had some serious issues.
The WIFI adapter has frequently caused issues. The device fails to recognize the Realtek adapter and you cannot connect to the web. Due to this persistent issue I have had to factory reset this laptop 5 times. This happens around every 6 months, and is due to bad updates from ASUS.
Check the Forms, there are many complaints.
The keyboard has recently started repeating keys, and not registering key strokes. This causes an infuriating typing experience, also if you are a gamer you know how serious this is.
I am using an eternal keyboard, to write this.
Multiple problems, Wifi disconnection, Faulty keyboard, Bluetooth problems. Updating drivers and BIOS of no use.
Still would recommend this laptop for its price. Hopefully you have a better experience!

If I have to give such a product to the customer then why would anyone come ... I am upset with this laptop, please either refund me or give me a refund Money, or you change the laptop... It is working fine right now, it is on warranty... but in some time its warranty will expire, so if it keeps having some problem or the other every day, I will become a beggar. so please don't play with anyone's feelings...Please give me a new laptop because I can't stay with this laptop

detailedReviews 27: content: In terms of plugged in performance, the laptop can run games smooth without experiencing stuttering or fps drops besides the CPU potentially bottlenecking the GPU in triple A games. When not plugged in, the overall system performance of the laptop is very laggy e.g when i type, the words only appear 3-5 seconds later, and the system freezes sometimes and. The battery is not too great and I had to replace the battery withing the first 6 month. Overall the laptop doesnt fully live up to expectations for a gaming laptop. The performance fluctates but most of the time i have decent experience as i am not a heavy gamer.

detailedReviews 28: content: For a gaming Laptop it's not too over the top with graphics, colours or RGB that just looks unprofessional in an office setting, it's what you'd almost call a "Sleeper" it has a sleek, clean and almost unassuming look but the power, quality and capability of this machine will keep even the most hardcore user very pleased.
The build quality is fantastic with almost zero body flex to be found.
The weight is suprisingly light too, especially when you consider what they crammed into this package, so it’s a breeze to carry around in an appropriate bag or backpack.
The screen is just quality, combine that with it's 144hz refresh rate and you start to realise why gamers covet screens like this. It's super smooth to look at, movies look incredible and it just takes your gaming experience to a new level of immersion.
The keyboard is a full size layout, with the numpad too, which is a very nice bonus, especially for work and using the ASUS software you can turn off the RGB keyboard, or just customise to what wver colour takes your fancy and at night, if you find things too bright, just add abit of black to the colour pallette and you can really fine tune the brightness.
It also has a plentiful amount of USB ports, on both sides too, which is often overlooked but thats no issue here.
The power brick is also engineered to be as light and as smallnas possible. Many gaming laptops suffer from having giant power bricks, which can add significant weight but it's no heaver than a macbook power unit.
Top it off with the GPU, i7 CPU and DDR4 RAM this is a must buy laptop if you have the budget, not only does it play almost all modern games at the high graphical settings but it just breezes through office work, which is good, cause you'll want to get back to gaming on it ASAP.

The product quality is very bad as per my experience as a dealer.
Specially the Motherboard use to go shorted after the warranty cover is expire.
In my case the motherboard Blown-up just next day of the warranty expire.
So it caused serious damage to my reputation of my Dealer which is situated at my home town.

detailedReviews 30: content: "Amazing" in one word -- to begin with for a gaming laptop the most important thing is heat dissipation and temp control. This laptop has very efficient temp control ( best in its category ) and has a self cleaning fan. Love the anti glare screen-- easy on the eyes with strong hinges that prevent irritating screen vibration. The intel 12th i7 (12700 H -- 14 cores) is amongst the most powerful processors in this segment and also the latest -- if you are investing this amount, it is better to get the latest 12 th gen H processors (12700) which have more cores and therefore threads. The pricing is very fair and Asus charges correctly for what it is delivering. I wish MS office was coupled with this laptop , it's a must so please ensure all laptops come with MS office. The ASUS armory software makes it very intuitive and visual to track the performance of your laptop including switching between the different modes -- again very impressive. The keyboard is very spacious and sturdy, love the big mouse pad -- a pleasure to use and ergonomic. I was most pleasantly surprised to see the build quality of this laptop which I found to be better than its counterparts. It is mentioned that the laptop is military grade certified. Love the clean metallic finish of the laptop face. It does look strong and the finish is very neat. I wish there was also the option for 3060 6GB graphics card. 3050Ti 4GB is acceptable but the former would have been nice to have as an option. Also, like most competitors Asus has used 2 - 8GB RAM. Instead I wish they used a single 16 GB RAM making it easier to upgrade to 32 GB without wasting the already available RAM. Such small things really make a lot of difference to the common man. Overall this laptop due to its features that bring out the best in a gaming laptop and its fair pricing stands head and shoulders over its counterparts.

It was not a good experience considering a new laptop which was not even 4-5 months old. Same issue was faced by another same version my friend had. But I also had other problems like Lag on start up, Screen Freeze, Black Screen, and small other software issues (which occasionally occur sometimes). The adapter brick gets dangerously hot.
%233 and the Bluetooth radio is VERY spotty. There will be days where it'll stay connected all day, and some days like today where it constantly disconnects for seemingly no good reason. %234 doesn't play nice with Chrome. The gaming laptop also doesn’t get used a lot for gaming. Mostly sits idle. However after using it just over a year, the laptop started giving S.M.A.R.T error which is heat related. Later I read review that this is one of the worst gaming laptops for heating issues. Very sad and frustrating.

Pros:
1. Display with 144hz is too good
2. i5 11th gen is quiet good for it’s potential
3. Chicklet keyboard with RGB is gives you a good visibility even in no light and feedback is good
4. Charging is guiet fast and bacup also good(while you are not connected to internet)
Cons:
1. It would be good if they attach a full size touchpad(comes with physical click buttons Quiet outdated and uncomfortable while using)
2. Adapter is over heated even though it comes with a 180w it’s little over heated compare to other brand adapters
3. BIOS setup seems complex because there is no option for switching the graphics option and in Armorycreate also there is no option to switch

detailedReviews 37: content: The speed of the laptop is brilliant from a to b from general all the way to gaming which is amazing. Base clock rate is 2.5ghz and it over will overclock it's self to about 4.5ghz so you are have more then enough power to run all the latest games in medium to high settings and still receive 100+ frames for new games, anything less that's not old but not new I get 144+ and old games it can literally be 150/250 in game for sure. All at top settings for the old games and last gen beauties.
I will give a example to put mind at ease,
Neverwinter settings maxed out (1080p) full hd also and I get 135fps.
STALKER (old game but looks amazing) maxed out and again 1080p @ 250fps
Fornite full hd 1080p and medium settings 90fps @ all high 60 if you're happy with that lol.
Halo infinite maxed out setting 1080p @ 60fps or medium and get 80/100fps
Farm sim 19 maxed out @ 60fps but only because it's capped.
Star wars old Republic maxed out 130fps
Ryse son of Rome all high / maxed about 60fps can drop to about 40 but don't have the extra processing on like post processing it's not needed the game isn't graphically well made since it's crytec lol.
Dead space games all maxed out and around 144fps
I know I missed going through lot more spec details but it tells you what you need to know on paper I just wanted to give out what this little beauty can do and not to let others put you off.
It's sturdy, looks great. The panel is a IPS so it don't ever look grey it's just a nice solid look from all angles.
If you want it for a first time gaming pc then I would definitely recommend to anyone on a budget for a great power machine that gets the job done.
I did can I run it test online and it runs anything from all your favourite old games to the top and latest ones. I did more in depth testing elsewhere I. E on the Microsoft store and it ticks for the top newest games so don't be shy if someone says it requires 12gb minimum it will still run it ofcourse even if it's 16gn min. It just means you might have to lower some settings on game but won't take the fun away the fact you can still play it and have it looking amazing.
Enjoy.

And, the 144hz screen refresh rate is much smoother as compared to the new (2024) Lenovo Legion that I just returned because the graphics and sound quality both were poor on a system that had an i9 with 240hz screen refresh rate and the latest Microsoft software. detailedReviews 40: content: It's a great laptop since it never overheats and the speed is incredible, as it should! Unfortunately, it's been 2 months and my "n" key is already sticking. I never eat or drink while using this laptop and I keep my office space immaculate of dust and debris, so I am not sure why this keyboard is acting up, ALREADY. Also, the touchpad annoys the heck out of me, for example I could be on one tab browsing and moving my cursor then all of a sudden the cursor gets stuck then the entire tab starts floating and then gets moved into a new browser when I never had this intetntion because all I did was move the cursor. So I tried to change the mousepad sensitivity to low and then high and then in-between, to no avail. I find that if I do not place one finger in the middle of the mousepad, it goes haywire and starts moving my tab around as if it thinks I want to move it into a new browser. Essentially, I cannot use the rest of the touch pad except for the middle part ONLY to move the cursor, so that means I have to look down at my touchpad and ensure I only use the middle of the touchpad so not to "upset" the laptop. It is so annoying and changing the setting on the mousepad does nothing. I think it's down to my finger unable to glide easily over the mousepad and no, my finger is dry and not damp from sweat, if that was the case I would understand but my finger is dry and this mousepad isn't easy to glide my finger over. I've tried everything and nothing works. As mentioned above, my "n" key keeps sticking and I am not impressed as it is brand new and was fantastic the first 2 weeks, then everything changed for the worse. I bought this in May and the courier services selected by Walmart gave me some trouble in receiving this item on time which caused great anxiety. Just an all around bad experience. Never again!

Works great, fast, handles graphic design, etc. My complaint is that to be of the Tuf line, it's not very "tuf". Within the first semester BOTH laptops ended up with screen damage. I can't speak for my kid, but I'm careful with my things. Yet somehow while in transit in a laptop backpack the screen was damaged. Asus refused to fix it citing exterior damage (thank GOODNESS I got the 2 yr warranty - we've had them less than a year!!). detailedReviews 42: content: Fab little gaming laptop, I managed to get it on offer so was a bargain. Feels like a quality product hinges nice and stiff but not to much, feels solid like it will last awhile. Screen great fast refresh rate, no backlight bleeding, keyboard great lots of colours to change, feels nice to type on. Easy to remove back panel (just remember the right screws as some longer than others) I already slipped in another NVME M2 Drive to make it 2tb so lots of space for my games and apps, plus a copy of my Cloud back up files as well. Nice amount of ports including USB C thunderbolt which is fab as great for future proofing and I run a 4K gaming monitor off that. 3 other USB 3 ports as well and HDMI. The Battery is probably as would be expected if you use it for gaming it will burn through the power pretty quick couple of hours at most. I use this is a desktop replacement which it is fine for (couldn’t build a desktop PC this year as general lack of graphic cards hence why I went for this) and the ASUS software gives you options for performance and battery life etc. The power brick is a 200 watt and a bit chunky, so if you are carrying this about adds to the weight and size (Laptop itself is light) Gets a bit warm around top of the laptop after playing for awhile and fans slightly noisy but not distracting when playing games. Again the ASUS software allows you great control altering performance/power levels.

I purchased 3 laptops before getting this:- MSI katana great laptop but only 1.5 to 2.5 hours of battery. Acer Nitro, horrific just dont go there and a lenovo legion which was pretty good but struggled a bit in high graphic settings when gaming. Then came the Asus and it started with the box, great design and suprised me that so much thought had gone into the box. Gave me an instant feel of quality and filled me full of confidence that this was going to be a winner even before getting it out of its packing. First impressions were great looking metal casing altho thin it looks and feels like you could drop it off a building and it would survive.lol Great feedback from the keybord but the number pad does feel a bit closed in, the rgb lighting function is awesome too. Battery life is great, normal usage delivered about 8 hours of battery life and full on gaming with cooler running lasted just over 4 hours. Played every game i could on it trying to get a glitch or a struggle out of it but its just too awesome to bow down and fail. 240hz refresh from a screen thats simply stunning with ultra settings switched on and every games been a delight. cant really fault this laptop it is fantastic in every way. the only things that idd personally improve on would be an addition of a sd slot and would have made the casing a little bigger to make more room for the number pad. All in all you wont be disapointed.

Considering my previous computer was ASUS and not gaming orientated at all, but functioned smoothly with demanding games, buying the TUF was a no-brainer. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it handles the games I play! The graphics are smooth, vibrant and there's no lag whatsoever. It handles non-gaming programs too, though Microsoft Edge does tend to become unresponsive every now and again. It also heats up quite a bit, so if you're using it on your lap you'll need a tray or lap-desk. The heat doesn't impact the way the computer functions though.

detailedReviews 46: content: I brought two of these gaming laptops from Argos. The laptop itself looks nice and very light. Build quality I'm happy with. The machine itself is fast. Loads up within 3 to 4 seconds from the moment switch on that's once you have updated Windows, Nvidia and Asus own apps. The keyboard is very good responsive and has a great feel to it. The background lights on keyboard make it look awesome with different light settings. Played many games on it and no lagging. I've rendered 1080p videos using Da Vinci resolve 18 and it's very fast. The whole machine overall I'm impressed apart from one thing that's battery life. The battery life is terrible especially when on turbo mode. Something which not happy about. You must have the power on at all times if you wanna play games or rendered videos in turbo mode. I take the machine to work with me but must have the power on at all times. I'm disappointed as I really wanted to take this laptop with me when I'm travelling up down the country or on trains when there is no power source available. If you do plan to take on day out just remember take it off the turbo mode in fact it won't even come on turbo mode if it detects no main power. Silence mode or windows mode will be ideal if your going out for the day with the machine.

detailedReviews 49: content: Overall my laptop is very good, the performance is pretty high end and battery life in general daily use for university is higher than most other gaming laptops. On the gaming side of things the 3060 is an excellent gpu for gaming, can play most games at max settings at 60+ fps and even 120+ at optimised settings. One thing for me that I would like improved is the gpu tdp. The 3060 is capped at 95w even though it was designed to reach 115w. Ofc it would require more cooling, which is also something that ASUS could implement better, a lot of the grills under the chassis are blocked and there could easily be more cut outs for more ventilation. But again. Build quality is nice, aluminium on lid is clean and premium. Wish there was some more aluminium on chassis for better heat absorption which could aid the gpu tdp increase for more performance. Upgradability is good. Speakers are good. Wish the brightness was slightly higher but it’s fine. Also wish the fans were slightly quieter in the turbo setting, sometimes it’s obnoxiously loud even with a laptop stand where sound cannot bounce of the desk.
But overall a very very solid gaming laptop that I’m very happy with.
Ps: ASUS feel free to hit me with some upgrades and some feedback on my response, maybe even the next version of the ASUS TUF gaming laptop with its improvements. I wish haha.
But Thankyou ASUS, you are really killing it right now in all aspects.

When it tried to reboot after the update, it couldn't get past the logo screen. I'm somewhat computer savvy but I'm no computer tech -- but I worked for almost 3 days to fix it and finally took it to a local computer shop! They got it fixed and thought it was a software issue that broke drivers because of the Windows update. I found an article on Tom's Hardware Guide that discussed issues with some brands of laptops with this processor that said this issue wasn't the same issue that was making Gen 3 & 4 desktop processors crash -- but was software related instead -- just like the tech said!
It's running just fine now and I'm learning Windows 11 because I came from Windows 10 -- and I'm looking forward to gaming with it!

detailedReviews 51: content: Laptop comes out of the box with a single channel stick of 8 GB 22CL 3200 MHZ RAM. Running games on the lowest settings such as Halo Infinite and Shadow of the Tomb Raider will result in FPS drops dipping between 45 to 60 FPS. Once a second channel of ram is installed the dual channel performance gives a stable 60 FPS with some headroom. This 3050 performs similar to a 1070 GTX with DLSS however there is only 2 GB of VRAM which leaves MUCH to be desired compared to a desktop discrete GPU.
Cooling is lacking. Do not play on plush or fabric surfaces. Temperatures CAN and WILL go up to 90 degrees in such cases while on a hard surface temperatures can reach 80+ still.
Battery life unplugged will typically yield 2.5-3 hours depending on usage. Aftermarket batteries with a bigger capacity are available but I did not attempt to install them.
The display panel itself is bright, crisp, and on maximum brightness is still reasonably dim as to not cause eye strain in a well lit room.
Audio is played through the underside of the laptop. The actual audio speakers can be blocked if the underside is covered such as on a person's lap or a plush surface so the audio will be muffled.

detailedReviews 52: content: ASUS TUF Gaming Laptop is a great entry level gaming laptop. It has AMD Ryzen 7 4800h 8-core processor, AMD processors deliver high performance. The graphics card is NVIDIA GTX 1650 Ti which leads to a great experience when playing on a multi server game; pixel density is 142 ppi and the pitch is .18 by .18 mm . I am very impressed with the 144HZ refresh rate display that adds to your gaming experience as it leads to a super smooth motion. The battery is a 3-cell and lasts a mammoth 48 hours. It has a microphone, camera, camera indicator, air vents and a touchpad too. It comes with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, HDMI Output port, thunderbolt 4 port and a headphone/headset/microphone jack. It comes with a AC power adapter into the standard power source for about three hours to charge initially. 8 gigs of memory, 512 gigs of SSD, 15.6 inch full HD display. It has chassis grills in the back that lets the hot air out. I played for a solid 3 hours and I didn't find the laptop to heat up quickly. Connectivity can be through ethernet or over wifi/bluetooth. The only improvement I can think of is the weight of the machine as it weighs 5.07 lbs. Overall an excellent machine with comfortable viewing angles, good contrast ratio, and a non flickering backlight. Great for fast paced games. Pair it up with some gaming accessories and you'll have a great gaming experience.

detailedReviews 53: content: Good Points: Its a very smart looking piece of kit, with low profile screen bezels and its much lighter than my previous HP Omen 15. The keyboard has had some bad reviews for looking cheap but I really like it, with its turquoise backlighting and white WASD keys.
At this point in time the RTX3070 GPU offers outstanding performance. I can wack up pretty much all graphic settings to high/ ultra on every main title game.
The ASUS Armour Crate app allows you to easily overclock your settings without getting technical using the preset adjustable modes laid out on the app.
After roughly 45days of using this laptop Im yet to find any performance flaw.
It is, at this point in time, extremely good value for money.
If your a novice PC gamer (as I am) looking for a solid gaming platform at a midrange price, I would strongly recommend this laptop. It will do everything yoy require it to and maybe a little more.
Improvement Points: I cant seem to get VR to register my Nvidia GPU through my HDMI port. I assume the HDMI port is connected to Intel GPU rather than the Nvidia GPU. So will be looking for VR that does not require HDMI port connectivity.
Other than that, so far, I cannot find any other issues.
Its a solid piece of kit for a novice PC gamer.

detailedReviews 54: content: The igu and dedicated GPU has some problem. When dedicated GPU is active, while the integrated GPU is on . It causes blinking of screen also called flickering. When scrolling in browsers like chrome or brave. When rtx 3050 is disabled no problem is caused maybe it's a motherboard issue or something else I'm not sure. But it is really annoying to the extent that someone will start doubting his decision of purchase. Other than that ... It's simple awesome. Speed top notch, RGB keyboard, nice palmrest, back panel is metallic which gives awesome feel. Looks premium. Though sometimes it gets hot but I'm not quite sure as i haven't tested under loads. Well time will says but i observed even when it reached above 100 celcius the cpu throttle didn't caused any performance degradation. So I'm quite happy with the purchase.
But i would like to suggest local accidental damage plan should be in affordable rates cuz it's super high ... like rs 22988 for Local ADP 3year + 2 year international extended warranty, SERIOUSLY!!!, but if someone don't want international warranty kindly let the person choose, don't force. Makes your plan budget friendly. That's all compliment and suggestions i want to share. Rest I leave to you guys . Kudus

detailedReviews 56: content: Disclosure. I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for this review.
Pros. Easy to set up. Everything works as expected. Plays all my games (most demanding being gta v) with no issues. For a gaming laptop it's light and doesn't get too hot. Easy to upgrade with more ram or a higher capacity ssd. Even came with the sata cable to add a 2.5 inch drive.
Cons. The buttons on the trackpad can be a bit more sturdy. The lighting on the keyboard keeps turning off when on battery but this is probably a software feature that I haven't figured out yet.
Overall very satisfied with the laptop. Would definitely buy again for the price.

The mouse Touchpad is also buggy on this one- the sensitivity is all the way up but sometimes during game play it just doesnt respond at all to my clicks. Could be a defective unit. If i wasn't so lazy i would probably return since it effects my gaming but, alas I dont want to wipe this one and start all over from scratch. Otherwise runs great. detailedReviews 59: content: This is my fifth Asus laptop going back to 2013. I thought I would try a gaming model this time although my gaming needs are casual. I like that it has the 4070 board in it and the i7 seems to run very fast and efficient. Durability seems great with the metal top and screen is easy to see and read, although not quite as bright and clear as my touch screens. Battery life is nominal which of course could be tweaked by adjustments in menus. Overall great Five Stars!

detailedReviews 60: content: Built quality and style 5/5. Metal finish and design makes it look great in any environment.
Hardware is 4/5 for me. Its good for its price despite being dated a bit at this point, however easily up gradable ram and SSD and 2.5 slot is a plus to make it a bit better. It can run most games in mid to high setting but dont expect to be running Latest AAA games at these settings.
Screen: 4/5. Its a great screen for media consumption and gaming.
Software: not much bloatware loaded. Also got free game pass subscription for 30 days I believe.
Sound and Webcam: Sound good for a laptop. webcam is alright. It does have a mic but I dont like to use it due to annoyance mentioned below.
Bad things:
Unless you are using silent mode for your fans, they like to shout out their existence to the world, specially if you are gaming. No its doesnt get too hot but it does quite loud and often.
Despite the gddr5 upgrade to the graphics card it is still really out dated to use this laptop for dedicated gaming or as main gaming rig.
So overall I like having this laptop for entertainment, occasional gaming and browsing and it works great and looks great doing it even though the loud fan ruin the experience time to time.

detailedReviews 61: content: I bought this laptop November 27th on a Black Friday deals. It was a little difficult to set up at first because of the driver situation and not knowing how to run the Asus Armory but after I figured it out and started to learn it made sense and was easy to use.
The main reason I bought it was for music recording and editing as well as gaming.
It was also a good purchase because of the upgradable RAM and memory slots. 500GB SSD was good but I wanted a 1TB ssd. The ram that was only 8GB was sufficient but I wanted the full 32GB apacity so I didn't have to worry about upgrading for a few years.
I did the upgrade myself, it didn't take too much time but it was a little bit difficult because I've never done an upgrade like that before. A few quick tutorials and the right tools got the job done. One of the clips for the bottom of the laptop unfortunately broke. Thankfully it was just one clip so the remaining Clips were able to reattach back to the bottom of the laptop without any issue
After some restarts and playing around with the SSD data partition I figured out how to make everything work and since then has been running smoothly with no issues. Everything runs on highest settings for all my games and my recording software works very well and very quickly. Don't listen to the bad reviews, give these Asus TUF laptops a chance.

In performance mode battery drains very quickly.
And I’ve also found the touchpad to not be as responsive at times.
I did think I’d be able to run games at a higher graphics but that could be my own fault with lack of knowledge.
Speakers could also be better, sound seems to come from underneath the unit so having it sitting on your lap and listening to something isn’t ideal.

detailedReviews 65: content: Good Points: First off, retailer price matched so I purchased it at £100 less.
It's a fantastic machine for the price. I will go into some things in the improvement points but they are all things I knew about prior to purchase, they were fine for me but may not suit everyone - the chip, battery, lack of fingerprint login.
It's pretty rugged, well designed and runs some reasonable tough games like Subnautica like a dream. Audio software like Ableton runs well too.
Frame rate is great, GPU, RAM & SSD drive are excellent.
It's a very stable machine, no issues with hardware or software.
Amount of I/O ports are good but you may need a hub.
Screen is great for me, not much reflection or glare.
Gets a little warm when playing graphic-intensive games but not hot.
For the money, considering the GPU you get, it's a terrific buy.
Improvement Points: I knew all of these prior to purchase, they are not an issue for me but maybe will be for some people.
1. Chip speed is fine but it's Quad core, you may require better.
2. Battery life is fine when playing something like Stardew Valley but not for graphic-intensive games - 5 hours Vs 1 hour. Again, I knew it was only a 3 or 4 cell battery & for me this isn't an issue. I use it at home mostly.
3. No fingerprint login.
Haven't found anything I didn't like that I didn't already know about.

detailedReviews 68: content: PROS:-
1. I got this laptop during the Dussehra sale from Amazon.
2. So far my experince has been very smooth. Daily tasks run smoothly.
3. Battery backup with regular browsing, surfing and youtube is decent enough. The 90WHr battery definitely works well here. However, I have not played any games without power connected.
4. I have not tried any AAA titles yet, but some of the older / originals ones runs butter smooth. In my short spans of gaming I did not notice the laptop heating up too much. Just the fan in my room was sufficient and I don't have a cooling pad yet.
5. Learning Win 11 is a bit of a challenge otherwise it has a nice look and feel to it.
6. The laptop feels solid in the hands, sturdy and has a very polished look. Though 2.2Kg is somewhat on a higher side, but manageable for a laptop with this much firepower.
CONS:-
1. The first thing I noticed how the key travel was really less and it felt almost like I did not have to press the key at all. The feedback was absent. It will take time to get used to it. Or need to consider using an external KBD.
2. Second, the letters on the KBD with the backlight off looks washed out, not sure if that is generic for all laptops or specific to mine. But to compensate I need to turn on the backlight at all times.
3. I did not find any mechanism under Asus Aura to control zone wise lighting. If anyone knows how to do it, please share.
4. The extended warranty cost is just too high. Definitely much higher that what other competitors are offering in the same segment. ASUS must take note of this and make it affordable for a laptop that does not come cheap.
5. I have used the laptop just over a week now and will update if I notice anything else.

detailedReviews 70: content: Bought this laptop about 9 months ago and I've still have yet to encounter any issue, even minor. It boots up instantly, runs its tasks efficiently, and does well in doing its job. In terms of gaming laptops, this is certainly on the more 'budget' side of them, but it still runs the newest AAA games well. However the newest ones, such as Battlefield or COD, can only run with good FPS at around medium graphics. 2017 Star Wars Battlefront does run well at high and even ultra graphics (don't let EA's online servers prove otherwise).
It's mostly simple to take apart the back part, until you finally have all the screws out. It's difficult to tell where the back breaks off. You know it's military grade, so the chances of you breaking anything is highly unlikely- right? You finally break apart one of the the clips holding down the back, and you continue to do so, one by one. Taking all them out, you mesmerize over the innards of this beautiful build, and notice that there is a replaceable SSD and RAM cards if you desire. Personally, I'm upgrading the 512gb SSD to a 2tb, and the 4gb RAM card to 12gb to have a total of 20gb of memory.

detailedReviews 78: content: I'm really so happy that I was able to get myself an ASUS TUF R17 after wanting to come back to PC gaming. It really is quite striking as every fine detail in the overall design from the brushed metal to the tiny little details everywhere really does make it feel a bit premium feeling all for a very decent price under the $1,000 mark which I really like a lot that you won't find too much on other gaming PCs such as Razer that clams to be just as good if not better and of course the ASUS ROG line that I also like a lot too and I'm still quite fine with that. The one thing I like the most is finally being on a NVIDIA graphics card over integrated graphics that I've been on for way too long enough already as 144 Hz for my display is just breathtaking as anything you throw at it can literally handle it BUTTERY SMOOTH!!! Even better is that Windows 11 looks and runs so perfect on it!
I could probably say a lot more on what I like about this machine since I had it only for a few weeks now as both a birthday and Christmas gift but I'm still quite happy that I have one! detailedReviews 79: content: Nice spec for the price. I have ran Fallout 4, No Mans Sky and Elite Dangerous on it without any problem not the newsest games out but they're the ones I currently play.
People have mentioned the fans are loud and they are whilst playing games which you would expect as they're working hard but just internet browsing it's almost silent.
Love the styling and the keyboard illumination and the memory and SSD are upgradable and I think there may be an extra SSD slot but have not confirmed for myself.
The only downside is it's advertised as being tough but it is of very lightweight construction the same as any other laptop.

detailedReviews 81: content: The laptop is medium weight and easy to carry around. Keyboard back light is super annoying to me. The camera on it sometime flicker and have a line run through the top 1/4 of it as you can seen it when you try to make video. Fan is too loud. Battery isn’t good, has to keep the charger with it all the time.
The ARMOURY CRATE that use “Scenario Profiles” to help manage the laptop isn’t that good at all. I have trouble with it switching screen coloring display to adapt to my application backn’fort which made it super annoying.
After a year of light usage (which mean about 2-5 hours of usage per week for mostly school stuff) the touch pad is no longer functional. And when you attach a mouse to it, there is a scratchy noise when the mouse is moving, inside the computer.
The good thing it runs some game at really good FPS (55-70)

Great in all aspects
Except the wifi.. The wifi card is missing at times.. And after updating drivers, hard reseting, and watching countless YouTube videos, it turns out that the placement of the wifi card is just crap as it overheats
And you know what's crazy.. I HAD THE SAMR PROBLEM WITH MY PREVIOUS ASUS
So I walk on eggshells when using this device cause I am unsure as to what might trigger it next.. And i knkw I'm not the only one complaining
But other than that.. Its a 10/10 laptop and I'd give it 5 stars but this experience hasn't been so pleasant

detailedReviews 83: content: I've owned this laptop for about 2 months now, and I have to say I LOVE THE BUILD ON IT!!!!
The build of this laptop is absolutely perfect. The keyboard is nice, the keys are like typing on clouds. The weight of the laptop isn't the lightest but the perfect build of this guy outweighs its weight LOL. The overall feel of the durable plastic is EXCELLENT. The aurora lights on the keyboard are ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Fully customizable...
Specs wise, this laptop came with a 10th gen i5 intel processor, 8gb ram, and 256gb memory ssd.
I wish it would've came with the i7 processor and 32gb ram and this thing would've been absolutely perfect, but as a BUDGET laptop this thing is great. You can always upgrade the processor and ram in the future up to 32gb ram....
Here are now my dislikes..
There's no SD card slot to upload videos/picture etc.
The screen doesn't support 4k resolution.
You might need to mess with the settings to get the best/accurate color on the screen. I wouldn't do color sensitive work on this laptop like photo editing etc. but graphics are really nice.
I wish the battery life was a little bit better.(but as a budget laptop, this will do)

Now though, if I see someone with one i will save them the fututre trouble and smash it. Itd be more useful as a shattered ball of plastic. Jazz jackrabbit slows the laptop on a fresh and "clean" install if that tells you anything.

detailedReviews 86: content: 24 hour review - bought this a day ago, set it up. Build quality is very good, much sturdier than cheap flexi-plastic budget models. Keys feel good. RGB backlighting super cool. Fan can be toggled for different speeds. System can be toggled for better battery or more performance or a range in between. Everything is working out-of-the-box as it should. Yes, we are already playing Minecraft RTX worlds with lighting, ray-tracing and it really works, looks great, smooth frame rate, increased chunks/draw distance etc. Still tweaking graphics settings, all great so far. Surprise facts: the GPU 0 is Intel UHD (on Iris Xe architecture) and seems to run for common tasks. GPU 1 is Nvidia and runs during gaming. Also, the discreet GPU RAM is 4GB but it additionally shares another 4GB VRAM from main system as needed! Main being 8GB (total 12GB). So it appears to use up to 8GB RAM for gaming. Also, I have seen the CPU peg 4.02GHz so far. I read that turbo speed is 4.4GHz across 2 cores. This laptop is awesome. Battery life so far seems on par for gaming PC, about 6 hours normal usage with dim screen but can easily reduce to 3-4 hours. Plugged in, it uses more power for performance. Only gamed plugged in so far. Windows did its thing and ran multiple update downloads and installs. Not too much bloatware. Found my wifi printer no problem. Speakers are the loudest of any laptop I have ever heard, and clear. Display is very clear, bright, smooth, crisp, and matte. Have not tried webcam yet. I am loving this modern Wintel PC.

I bought it for some VFX graphics designing work and a bit of streaming and all it totally worked fine . The overall thermals were also good . The only downfall was the battery health it gave me around 2 hr 30 min backup without charging and with charging without getting heated 6-7 hrs it would be beneficial if you could increase the whr of the battery from 48 to a bit above like 60 65 like that
Anyways thank u so much Asus for a wonderful laptop
Looking in future for more purchases 😄

detailedReviews 89: content: I didn't buy this laptop to game. I am a photographer and needed a photo processing computer I could take with me when I travel. I wanted a 12th Gen intel processor and discrete graphics card and a display that shows 100% RGB color space. The combination of i7 and RTX 3060 and the display fit the bill.
The TUF book Gaming F15 had the best price with these spec's from a Mainstream MFG.
I find my images render quickly, this is important. The fact that the screen views 100% RGB is another big requirement. Since I use this on the road, I could not attach an external monitor.
There are a lot of bells and whistles designed to attract gamers that I do not use.
I set the keyboard backlight to white. It can be multi colored.
Overall, I am very satisfied so far.
How does it fare as a gaming computer? I neither know nor care.

detailedReviews 90: content: I normally build my own systems, but with the chip shortage, and sky-high prices of what you can buy, I decided to go with a gaming class laptop; I am enjoying the laptop so far. It looks great, and is very responsive.
It could use a bit more storage space, but thankfully it has a spare m.2 slot, so I can pop a secondary one in. Same with RAM, 16 gigs is okay, but at least you can upgrade to more.
My only complaints are:
* Not enough usb ports, it only has 3, when I plug in my gaming keyboard, mouse, and USB headset, it is full, I can get around this with buying a usb hub.
* It is not the best video card. Minecraft runs fine, but the new Halo has to be set to the lowest settings to run.
* The screen is not the best, the text is a tad fuzzy, and the colours are a tad washed out. I am going to buy a new, secondary monitor, hopefully that will make it better.
Overall, as a general purpose laptop, it is fantastic, as for a "gaming class" system, not so much. It was the best I could afford right now, so I am happy with it.

detailedReviews 91: content: The following review was provided by myself (the customer) in order to qualify for an extended Asus waranty.
This product cost about half as much as my previous machine, despite this fact this product seems capable of sufficiently getting the job done. I am slightly underwhelmed with the speaker and webcam quality, but for the price I'm willing to live with this small inconvenience. I love the Asus-Aura-enabled RGB keyboard that came with my product! I have it set to cycle through the whole gambit of colors, and the beauty really adds a lot of value to this product in my opinion. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a smooth mid-level gaming experience at a fraction of other machines' prices. (Pictures of RGB keyboard are included.)

detailedReviews 93: content: Just an awesome piece of equipment. I was looking for something to do day-to-day work but also a moderate level of system capability to casually play games, and this has fulfilled that perfectly. When playing games and it’s plugged in the fans do kick into action, but it’s not as loud as other reviews have claimed. Battery doesn’t last excessively long, but how long would you want to move about with it unplugged anyway? I believe everything is as expected for a laptop at the price I paid. Overall, I am so happy with my purchase!

detailedReviews 94: content: Good Points: Very clean, runs games great. Pretty much every game runs on this of course with bigger triple A titles you may need to adjust settings. I get around 40 fps on minecraft with demanding shaders and 15 mods, 100+ vanilla. 80-90 fps on forza horizon 5 high settings. 80-90 on gta 5 high settings. 150 on warzone auto settings. Easy to upgrade, 11 Philips screws so a Philips screwdriver and something to pry the case open is all you need. I’d suggest adding another stick of ram as it only comes with 8gb but that is easily bought for £20-30. Well worth the price.
Improvement Points: VRAM is only 4gb meaning there is a barrier when it comes to graphic settings.

detailedReviews 96: content: in this three month of usage i have found some weird software(guessing) issues in my unit. first one is often when my system is running on 60hz mode it feels way to laggy and in terms of frame rates, my age old hp windows 7 laptop whoch runs in 60hz defaut all time handels animations way smoother. in such scenarios i always need to restart the laptop just to get rid of the issue or else i need to switch to 144hz mode manually. second issue is also related to frame rates if i'm using the laptop in normal mode and i put it in sleep and when i wake it up the frame rates instantly becomes choppy and it happens every time and again i need to either restart it or put it in charge even if it has 80% percent of battery left along with that even though i turned off the auto brightness in my laptop but after waking it up from sleep the screen flickers very weirdly nd it does continuously then if i adjust the refresh rate manually then it behaves normally. i'm assuming it is a software issue and not a hardware. i hope you guyz will fix this issue.

detailedReviews 98: content: This is my very first ASUS computer device. I have heard of ASUS for years yet have been very skeptical. I have had Toshiba, Dell and HP computers over the decades and trusted in the quality and reputation of their computer devices based on personal experience and reviews of others. My old Toshiba laptop quit after 10 years. After much research in quality, longevity, graphics card, ram, cpu, speed, storage and price economy on an exceedingly tighter budget as dictated by our current economy and raising prices of necessities. I settle on the Asus TUF Gaming F15 laptop computer. Its only been about 2 weeks ..so its practically still fresh out of the box and hasn't been truly tested over the long haul. Nonetheless so far I am pleasantly pleased.
