detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: Honest Review of ASUS TUF F15 FX507VV and VivoBook S14 OLED
I purchased the ASUS TUF F15 FX507VV, and on the very first day, the BIOS and Windows OS got corrupted after I followed the update instructions given by ASUS ROG store staff. They told me to update through Windows Settings and the MyASUS app. While the MyASUS app update was successful, updating through Settings crashed the entire system.
I was very angry and frustrated, and I had to waste one full week visiting the ASUS service center and the store where I bought it.
Then after 2 months, I also faced physical display damage, which made things worse.
This is actually my second ASUS laptop. Earlier, I had purchased the ASUS VivoBook S14 OLED from the same ASUS ROG store, which had even more issues—both software and hardware problems, especially overheating during normal work.
Problems I Faced:
TUF F15 FX507VV: BIOS failure on Day 1, OS crash, poor speaker quality, bad design, and later physical damage.
VivoBook S14 OLED: Frequent software crashes, heating issues, and unstable performance.
My Opinion:
I do not recommend ASUS laptops anymore. I will be sharing proof with photos and videos on social media, Amazon, ASUS official website, and other platforms where these laptops are sold.
In my opinion, if ASUS wants a positive review from me, they must provide a better laptop for free—not another TUF or VivoBook.
For others, I strongly recommend HP, Dell, or Apple MacBooks instead. They are far more reliable, well-built, and better for long-term use.

detailedReviews 2: content: I purchased ASUS TUF F15(FX507VU-LP210W) with Intel I7-13620H processor and NVDIA RTX 4050 6GB VRAM GPU and 16 GB DDR5 5200MT/s RAM of MICRON and 512 GB Gen 4 SSD of WD with maximum 5000 MBPS read speed. The product performed at it's peak performance according to it's specifications till now. I tested for many heavy games and performance. It really works perfect with 1080p 16:9 FHD 144 hz display. The battery backup is obviously nice since it has 90 Whr Battery and the charging time is also very less since it comes with 240 watt power brick with 16 A big (3 pin)power adaptor. The thermals are perfect if you use this laptop at a perfect height by maintaining sufficient gap between the bottom surface and table. The temperature of the room should be under 24 degrees Celsius to get optimum thermals from this laptop. Since this has intel high powered processor(115 watt tdp) and high powered NVDIA GPU(140 watt tgp) so huge geat generation is expected and sufficient airy space between the bottom surface and the laptop is always necessary. The webcam quality is also decent but 1080p was expected from this range. The ports are sufficient only a sd card slot was expected for storage expansion purpose. Otherwise overall this product from ASUS is extremely perfect from build quality to performance and looks.

detailedReviews 3: content: I'd 100% recommend it to anyone. For a "Budget." Gaming laptop, it's outstanding! Get off the fence and just buy it. You won't regret it. After years of cloud gaming on an all-rounder laptop, I'm so glad I finally took the plunge and bought this after every couple of months comparing and reading reviews on many gaming laptops I've not looked back. The build quality is amazing. The features blew me away, unboxing it was ridiculously exciting, as if I was a kid at Christmas again. The bonus backpack and mouse were the icing on the cake, adding to the experience. It plays all the latest games without a hitch with plenty of memory to get you started. The sound quality isn't perfect I found for gaming, but playing music and videos is great, and the screen is not the brightest, but after a few days and sessions, I don't even notice anymore and of course you can always adjust the settings in game. I love the fact that the keyboard lights up with the option to switch it off if you'd prefer. It's got plenty of ports and hearing about gaming laptops naturally overheating. I've not experienced anything like I'd of imagined, and it's lovely and quiet. If this is to be your first ever gaming laptop, then this is a great entry-level, and you won't be disappointed.

detailedReviews 4: content: The ASUS TUF Gaming F15 is an incredible value for the performance you are getting. While most company's cut corners in the worst possible places on their budget "gaming" laptops such as using comically underpowered GPUs with reduced graphics RAM and entry-level CPUs, ASUS gives you a full 140 watt 8GB RTX 4070 coupled with a powerful 14 Core i7-12700H. They also include a 240W power supply to ensure you can run these components at maximum performance, although you also have the option of 100W power delivery over USB-C.
I did upgrade the 16gb of ram it came with to 32gb, which is the only real bottleneck the system comes with, and I highly recommend this inexpensive upgrade to greatly improve overall system performance. The TUF F15 was very easy to upgrade too, simply removing a few screws and popping off the bottom panel gives you access to upgrade the RAM as well as an empty PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot that I installed a 2TB SSD drive into.
Benchmarking with Passmark the TUF F15's i7-12700H scored a 29,400 CPU Rating with a 3,799 Single Thread CPU Rating, and its uninhibited RTX 4070 scored a 1,004 2D Graphics Mark and 20,333 3D Graphics Mark, all significantly above Passmark's listed average for similar hardware, and all impressive for a laptop especially at this price point.
A word on the display, the 1080p resolution might seem a little low on paper, however you can run most games at absolute maximum graphics settings with the RTX 4070 only having to drive the 144hz 1080p G-Sync display. And honestly on a 15 inch display gaming on 1080p looks fantastic.
Some more premium features found on more expensive gaming laptops such as metal construction, mechanical switch keyboards, and per-key RGB lighting zones are going to be missing on the TUF F15. This might be a turn off to some, but for the performance you are getting for the price, I say ASUS made the best possible decisions when budgeting this laptop.

detailedReviews 5: content: Sorry to put it this way but this laptop is quite buggy and incompatible with older software. I'm not positive if it's because of the Windows 11 Home Edition operating system or the preinstalled ASUS software. Whatever the case may be I still haven't made a lot of progress making this machine user friendly. Another huge drawback I am encountering is how quickly and completely the CPU and the GPU want to overheat. It's as if this machine was overclocked at the factory. I cannot run even 15 year old low end graphics games without the fans running at over 5000 rpm. Then there's a problem with refreshing the screen and reclaiming focus from the open windows that prevent me from using any desktop software I installed myself. I use a game controller as a mouse on my desktop and for some strange reason whenever I have certain windows open or close other windows I have lost all ability to input commands to my game controller without always having to left click on the built in touchpad to give my game controller focus. I am also curious to know who came up with the idea of left clicking or right clicking on an all inclusive touchpad without keeping the left and right click buttons separate. It is too easy to make errant clicks or taps when I'm only trying to left or right click once. And please explain to me why I need 3 of Page Downs, Page Ups, Homes and Ends keys on the same keyboard. This makes regular keyboard shortcut mapping almost impossible as there are not enough keys that I can map individually without having a conflict of the keys having been mapped without a reference as to what those keys control. And speaking of shortcuts and mapping why is it that I cannot find any reference to what buttons on my game controller do what when I have the Microsoft Xbox Bar running and my Xbox 360 game controller connected by Bluetooth? And this is the most disappointing issue I have of all and have no solution to it. I cannot control what programs run from the Nvidia graphics card and what ones run from the Intel integrated graphics. I get thousands of frames per second on some games and there's no way to slow it down. I feel so disappointed from the apparent lack of an adequate owners manual so I am able to work my way through theses endless and bothersome glitches. I hope there are fixes for all of this in the future but for now I cannot possibly recommend this particular laptop to anyone.

detailedReviews 6: content: This Asus TUF F15 15.6" FHD 144Hz Gaming Laptop with Core i7-13620H and 16GB RAM is definitely robust, top notch and multitasking device which is providing me super smooth gaming experience. First of all the device is beautiful and attractive. The construction is military grade and durable, its bit heavy but its reasonable due to performance. I assume it will stay with me in same condition for a longer period. The keys on the keyboard are soft and has back light with attractive colors and effects. The speed is remarkable, which is required for perfect gaming sessions. It has Core i7-13620H processor. It handles heavy gaming, loading, installation and processing with much ease. Display and picture quality and sound are unbeatable which elevates the gaming fun furthermore. 1TB SSD Storage is ample, you can store good amount of games in your library but still nowadays games require more space so I would need some more space. The thing which is must to talk about is its cooling system, as during and after intense gaming session this device cool down quickly and gets ready for another session. The laptop has got essential ports/connectivity options. Totally worth the price.
This Asus TUF Gaming F15 is definitely worth considering gaming laptop which can handle speed demanding games with ease. I will definitely recommend it to my fellow gamers.

detailedReviews 7: content: This laptop off the rip has been a mixed bag for me. I genuinely enjoy how well it runs games but only when it’s plugged in. It seems that they significantly reduce the quality of everything when it’s running off the battery and it only has lasted 3 hours maximum for me. It has lots of potential and i still absolutely love it. With the high end specs and good price; I think it was worth the buy. If you are looking to travel with this laptop for longevity / battery life purposes then i would strongly recommend something else. Besides that, im running triple A games on the highest settings running about 200 fps which is fantastic. I love the sleek build although it is a fingerprint magnet. It is a solid laptop. Would recommend for a lower budget.

detailedReviews 8: content: I was given this laptop to attempt to fix it having an issue and keep it as my own. The issue is mostly motherboard related. I know this from articles about the overall laptop design and how the majority go BOOM within the end of the warranty, warranty expired on 09/01/2024 and the issue started at around 09/10/2024. Basically, the computer shut off and wouldn't react to anything; however, it had a battery idicator, let you clear cmos/rtc and had no power indicator. It refused to boot up, I managed to get it after holding the power button down for 2 minutes and BAM it booted right up, did a reset, but on restart it started the whole process of holding down the button for 2 minutes. It booted back up, said it was updating, then restarted, aas well as the process to get it to turn on. So after a third time of holding it down for 2 minutes, it booted up, had the ASUS post image, then shut off and now it won't turn back on. I sell these guys at Staples all the time, but now I am going to refuse to sell them after all the bad that I have heard about the F15.

detailedReviews 9: content: A great product overall at this price rance.
Good cpu and gpu.
Sturdy build. Good keyboard shortcuts.
Audio is great but isnt that loud.
Should have had ms office.
You can really feel the heat while operating exteral mouse from right side, while doing cpu or gpu intensive task. or even near center of keyboard(though the keyboard part u can ignore as we do not generally tough it while using)
the camera is horrible.. its like taking us back to 2010's mobile camera.
Anyone buying this laptop but ddr5 16 gb addition ram and atleast 512 gb or 1gb (preferred) ssd as provided ssd will fill up within couple of week. Ram can sustain(still 32 is new norm these days).
Overall great product.

detailedReviews 10: content: The quality is great. Great ram and internal storage. Battery life is a lil short but its okay. Very heavy but its for quality performance. The different settings for performances and stuff is a great feature. Highly recommend for studying engineering. The price was pretty steep, so i had to buy it on afterpay but thats a necessary sacrifice if you want to have a good laptop for engineering. I love the light up keyboard; it gives a great aesthetic and the different aura patterns and color settings for these are great. Easy to set up and easy to use.overall its a great product as long as you dont mind carrying a heavy laptop and having access to a power outlet to charge it.
