snippets: It comes with MediaTek driving 8350 Apex., You won't find many smartphone makers giving this processor under 25,000., Now in benchmarks if you see it scores about 14.15 lakh on N22 which is powerful but not that powerful., If you see the N22 scores on other phones under 25,000 like the Neo 10R and the H60, the C5 perfectly fits between them., Even in gaming, the C5 can play BGMI in 90 fps in smooth graphics and the game play is good., But in game mode, you can turn on adaptive frame booster and now it plays DJI at 120 fps., Now we wanted to push the phone further., So I played Wthering Waves., It can play it at high graphics 60 fps., But if you see here, it doesn't reach 60 fps., The moment you start running around, the FPS drops down to 45 FPS or so, but the phone doesn't get hot., Now I played this game every day for half an hour and the average FPS you get here is about 41., Now if you are in the habit of charging your phone while gaming, you also get bypass charging., So overall in terms of performance, it is not the best and it is not the worst., It's a very solid well balanced phone which can handle light as well as heavy tasks.

snippets: The C5 is running on Oxygen OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box., And honestly, I feel the Oxygen OS 15 has been a gamecher for OnePlus this year., Now, the C5 does come with some third party apps pre-installed., Now another area where the C5 is strong is battery., It has a 7100 mAh lithium ion battery., Now, if you see the battery screenshot, it easily lasted me a day without any issues on a single charge., And speaking of charging, it comes with 80 watt fast charging and you get the charger inside the box, it takes about an hour to charge the phone 100%., So from battery and charging point of view, this phone was very solid., And another area where it is very solid is performance., It comes with MediaTek driving 8350 Apex., You won't find many smartphone makers giving this processor under 25,000., Like FYI, the H60 Pro which costs 28 to 30,000 comes with the same processor and this is 7,000 cheaper., Now in benchmarks if you see it scores about 14.15 lakh on N22 which is powerful but not that powerful., If you see the N22 scores on other phones under 25,000 like the Neo 10R and the H60, the C5 perfectly fits between them., Even in gaming, the C5 can play BGMI in 90 fps in smooth graphics and the game play is good., But in game mode, you can turn on adaptive frame booster and now it plays DJI at 120 fps., Now we wanted to push the phone further., So I played Wthering Waves., It can play it at high graphics 60 fps., But if you see here, it doesn't reach 60 fps., The moment you start running around, the FPS drops down to 45 FPS or so, but the phone doesn't get hot., Now I played this game every day for half an hour and the average FPS you get here is about 41., Now if you are in the habit of charging your phone while gaming, you also get bypass charging., So overall in terms of performance, it is not the best and it is not the worst., It's a very solid well balanced phone which can handle light as well as heavy tasks., Let's turn the phone around and talk about the camera., If you compare the photos side by side with Edge 60, the C5 photos, they are just around the corner but not there., Now I click multiple pictures using this camera., In the landscape photos, it clicks some really good photos, but whenever you put a human inside the photo, it sometimes tries to make the skin tone whitish., In terms of zoom, it can go up to 20x, but beyond 5x or 7x, they are not that sharp., The photos from the ultra wideangle camera they are just like how they should be., Okay., In terms of videos you can shoot maximum at 4K 60fps and this is how the video quality is., It is good enough for making ress or shots., Now coming to selfies it can click some good detailed selfies and in terms of the video it shoots from the front selfie camera at 1080p 60fps., Now you can also shoot portrait videos and it does it in 1080p and if you see the background blur is not that glitchy., So the camera again is good enough for 90% of the people who just like to pick up their phone, take photos and post stories., But if you're someone who is a lot into photography or you are a creator looking for a specific camera phone, then there are better options., And another thing which is me but again might not bother a lot of people is speakers., Not C5 has a single speaker., So if you still listen to music on speaker or listen to videos on the pot on speaker, you would find the audio to be slightly less separated and rich., But most people use earphones and might not even notice., See, in my month of usage, what I understood is that this phone can do all things like 8x10 instead of standing out in one particular thing., Like this is not a performance-centric phone nor cameracentric phone in under 25,000 price point., If all the phones are cricket players, then the C5 is like Panda., Let it be for bowling, batting or fielding., If he doesn't bat well, he'll bowl well or field well., Somehow he'll win the match., So this is how the Node C5 is., Well, if you want an allrounder phone under 25,000 which can do all and is dependable, this phone is most value for money under 25,000., In fact, it cost 239 to be precise., If you're looking specifically for a camera phone, then the Nothing Phone 3A or Moto H60 is a good option.

The OnePlus node C5 launched in India for 24le 9 for the base variant and with bank discounts you can get it for as low as 22,000., Now it's the same pricing at which Node C4 launched last year, but this time there's much better performance, a huge battery, a featury software experience with all the AI features, and a much longer software support as well., Yes, the cameras are not the best, and a single speaker on a 25,000 phone is not what I expected, but other than that, this is a solid allrounder for the price., So, those were my thoughts about the OnePlus node CE 5.
