I take hundreds of photos and videos per day and have to edit them on the spot. Using the programs the phone comes with like "iMovie" and "iPhoto" makes the device really convenient. However, I have to regularly set my phone in front of a high powered fan or stick it in the freezer for at least 5 minutes in order to get it to cool down. Once it heats up, it stops working properly and wont transfer any photos or videos to my computer. This eats up SUCH a big chunk of my day and makes me look really inefficient as a result.
To those looking to use this phone for its powerful processing and photo capabilities, be aware. This phone has caused me WAY more problems than any phone before it. It is not an improvement at all, in my opinion, from the previous phone models. I had an iPhone XR before this one and it worked SOOOO much better.
Besides the overheating issue, I have had other issues with the phone glitching and the pull down from the top of the screen not working. Sometimes apps will just freeze and quit on me. I just find this phone to be extremely frustrating to use. The USBC bullshit is so frustrating too. Its like apple really wants to piss off their customers. At this point, I am angry because I have spent years using and learning the apple products and now its all gone to shit.

So good things about this phone? IDK you tell me. The Camera Sucks.. Non noticeable speed increase in browsing compared to a much older 11. Boot speed is ok? which you will need because the phone dies all the time. Connectivity seems the exact same as 11 which had 4g. Really just extremely disappointed in this phone.

The phone camera is a joke! You can’t focus in on anything like important paperwork or any writing, on anything at all—it’s just complete blurriness. I can’t pair the Apple Watch series 9 I just got and need the info from for my heart rate issues. It’s now useless, and I’m paying $35/month on it for the next year, and I live on disability, I went from paying nothing on someone else’s phone plan to $100/mo. for this almost useless object, which they already want the money for! For a phone that doesn’t work except its WiFi. I can’t send or receive texts. I can’t receive calls or VMs. And it is way smaller than I realized, since I ordered it online. I went from a basic XR that sadly completely died on me last week. The XR blows this piece of garbage away in every way. As soon as I’m well enough to go to the store, I’m getting rid of this nightmare.
Really, just an absolute nightmare of epic proportions. And good luck getting any help. One person tried putting a second line on the darn phone! I want my FIRST one to work! NEVER AGAIN!!

Only received 1/2 the value versus entire amount as advertised and first told by the Verizon employee at the store. My new iPhone 15 overheats. My texts are not being delivered consistently to others or my phone. iPhone 15 utilizes totally different chargers which added additional expense for my car, my home, my husbands car, etc. I have been a loyal Verizon customer along with my entire family for over 20 years, always pay my bill on time, and yet, have never been treated as a loyal valued customer. My phone bill has increased, I have a subpar new phone that cost time and money. My only recourse will be to stop talking about moving on, but actually take my business to another carrier. I have quite a few friends that have already moved to other carriers and Verizon was aware, but did nothing. I don’t expect to receive any feedback as I believe my review will be dismissed and only positive reviews are published in order to draw new naive customers.

What should have been seamless got stuck on the iOS18 update on the brand new phone for 10 hours overnight until we aborted it. Not a Wi-Fi issue! Spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get phone properly activated after bypassing the transfer process and postponing the iOS 18 upgrade on the new phone. Now we have a nightmare because Verizon didn't tell us that using iCloud backup to restore a phone only works if the phone is factory reset (erased). This means we are back to square one. What a mess.

Got 2 more new chargers and tried them. Also didn’t work. Was on my way to the Apple Store when my daughter looked and my phone , and isn’t even sure what she did but she went into Focus and tapped a few buttons to see if that worked. It didn’t appear to work when we were still at home. So I left the house to go to the Apple Store, turned my car on and seconds later my car play screen appeared. I called the dealer and they were happy it wasn’t on their end, but I have no idea if this will happen at will or again. I think Apple and Verizon need to give better instructions on setting up especially for seniors which they know o am ( 55+loyalty) I could have wasted a $199 deductible for the car warranty for nothing.

Therefore, I can't share, and have to reboot again. It's embarrassing and a waste of time. So, if these problems are happening to you, RETURN YOUR PHONE ASAP. After I turned in my old phone I received and unexpected text from AT&T saying “I needed to upgrade to an Unlimited plan or would lose the $350 credit” for the phone I already turned in and cannot get back. Unfortunately if I upgrade to an Unlimited plan it costs me even more to convert to the new plan than the $350 credit for the old phone. I would have been better off keeping my old phone as a backup than turning it in because now I am out of the $350 credit.
I called customer support to verify and they said that I’m out of luck. They were not very helpful.
What a bogus “deal.” Take your money to another phone carrier.

Very quickly it became apparent that the battery on my new phone couldn't make it past 3pm in the day without needing a boost. I have used every trick I could find online and when speaking to JL customer care but it still can't make it through a day.
It also appears to have a mind of its own - adjusting volume, calling people without me touching the device, switching between apps when using, being unresponsive when selecting music to play (clearly doesn't like my taste!), voice control kicking in when doing something else.
It's not what I expect from a 9 month old phone (I've never had an issue with an iPhone before) and don't appear to be having any joy with JL customer service in solving the issue.

It seems like not one person can correct what's going on, everyone prior to that person gave me the incorrect information, my account is now cleared up with credits being applied, my new bill will be exactly as they say and when the bill amount is posted ... that's wrong too. So many, many hours in the Verizon store and on the phone with lots of people. Very unhappy with Verizon and, if I had another choice, would certainly make a change. All I can say to you is make very sure you understand exactly what you are getting and then doublecheck your monthly bill. This has been a terribly frustrating experience for me and it hasn't come to an end yet. I will be spending another 2 hours on the phone with them probably this week to try to straighten out the account once more.

But that is where the difference really ends, the icons on the screen are the same the functions of the buttons and the settings are all identical.
I can understand that these features would be basically the same,
but for the extra money and the fact this phone is probably six generations further on than my old SE I cannot see much of a difference,.
I know all you techies will say that the operating system and chips in the phone are far more advanced, but for a normal everyday user, I really can not see that much difference.

And surprisingly mas mura dito sa BTB compared don sa 2 so I decided with this one kahit black nalang available.
I was having a hard time transferring my data from my android phone to this one esp photos whcih i made it eventually kaya lang it affected the photos date as in it changed considering i have lots pf photos.
I honestly bought it on a whim out of frustration. I thought of buying just 13 thne 14 then pro but since wala I went with 15 nalang bc of dynamic island. Ok naman but idk maybe im just paranoid when it comes to its BATTERY kasi im not a heavy user just socmed but i noticed how fast it drains the battery even when not using the whole night. I even optimized sa settinsg such as turning off app reshesh, off haptics, turned on dark mode, follows 80/20 rules but still happens.
I just hope it lasts long talaga since this my most expensive gastos this yr right after buying my macbook!🥹

detailedReviews 23: content: Honestly, the product was not that bad at all. The problem was, I ordered like-new and I was sent one in a good condition. There were a few small scratches on the screen, none of which were noticeable with the screen on except ONE that is on the right side of the Dynamic Island. On the corner of the phone with the camera, it seems to have been damaged before. The outer layer of paint around the camera lens came off a bit, and there was a small dent in that corner.
Finally, the battery health was 83%.
Actually, I didn't even notice it was the wrong product at first, and I was going to keep it despite its imperfections until I saw 83% battery health which is very close to the lowest possible threshold. Then, I checked the shipping label again and it said good.
I didn't want to be too mean, but I can't recommend the wrong product. I contacted seller about a different issue before receiving the product, and they seem like nice people, so I don't know if this was a one off or something.
The return process seems to be relatively straightforward though.
Just buy at your own risk, and don't put your expectations too high.

The iPhone 15 has many improvements and is much quicker. However, there are two main draw backs (i) without the home button you are forced into Face ID or pin. The Face ID works well but too well. The phone often 'opens' when I don't want it to. I am having to go back to the pin for the Home Screen. At least it has that fall back option; and (ii) the battery life is not great. If I am using the phone both ways on a work commute it just about lasts a day. I expected better from Apple than this. However, I like the slightly larger screen which is still small enough to fit in most pockets/small bags. I am less keen on the colour choices but overall I remain an iPhone fan.

I hope they can come up with a solution for this considering that the cost for these phones are higher than the other brands. And if you do have budget, rather go on higher models.

That said it's a nice phone with a very clear speaker that works brilliantly as a hot spot for my iPad. This phone replaced an old style iPhone SE and to be honest had the battery in the SE been better and the phone had had more storage I would much prefer this to the new phone. The disadvantages I find are it's very difficult to use with only one hand because of it's size, the face recognition works but personally I much preferred the fingerprint security and the home screen button is sorely missed. The music app is annoying in that it keeps jumping to a screen advertising iTunes and there doesn't seem to be a way of stopping this. On the plus side the 512G memory means I can put all of my music collection on the phone with a couple of hundred gig spare.

As this was an Easter gift I opted for yellow. I will say the colours advertised are nothing like the colours on the phones. If you think of white then add a tiny tint of the colour setting it off to a cream with a yellow or blue hue. Most certainly don't look as pictured anywhere online.

The only problem is is I have have had to update all my power plugs / cords for the USB-C cord. (have bought a USB / USB-C adaptor too so that I can still use some of my USB connectors). Well worth the upgrade although spending what I did for the basic model was at the top end for me !.

The Apple iphone box was well packaged in a bigger box to protect it with a sticky screen protector on and the power cable that looked like it hadn't been used. It powered up without a hitch and booted to the setup screen. I charged the phone fully and decided to let my wife sort out the rest of the configuration as it was supposed to be a surprise. Christmas day came and she completed the setup without a hitch transferring her apps and setup from her old iphone without a problem. On checking the state of the battery it said it was normal and the manufacturer's date was August so the handset was only a few months old. Certainly from my experience I would recommend CEX without hesitation. My wife is very pleased with her 'New' phone.

I chose for the phone to be in Grade A condition and it arrived without a single scratch or mark. I was very impressed. It was practically new. I am with Vodafone so since the IPhone was unlocked I had no issues transferring the SIM from my prior phone. I was also slightly concerned about transferring my information from Android to IPhone but thankfully there was no issues there either, it was all very smooth. Lastly, I checked the battery capacity and cycle count of the phone only to be amazed that there were no prior charges and 100% capacity. It runs very smoothly and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I will definitely be buying from CEX again, I cant recommend it enough. As of writing this review I have not encountered a single problem.

My Android phones ALWAYS had at least three “quirks” that I would just have to work around. No more quirks! And the battery life here is so great. I charge my phone for about an hour once a day and it only requires more charge on the days that my kids use my phone for YouTube for 2 hours in addition to my 5 hours of daily screen time (emails, text, watching news, games, and scrolling social media). I will have to add that I’m tech savvy so the transition for me was pretty easy. I had never used Apple products but it was intuitive enough that I just figured it out. Didn’t have to ask anyone for help or watch any videos. The only thing I did have to look up was the same thing I have to look up on every new-to-me phone: How to take a screenshot.

An added benefit included 5G capability which is marginally available in my home. However, when on the 5G network, it's great. Transferring all of my apps went smoothly using phone-to-phone transfer. Picture quality is much better than my SE, another reason for replacing my phone rather than repairing it. Overall, it's a great phone in the Apple ecosystem without the cost of the latest version iPhone, also free with VZW Ultimate (not something I needed).

One area that can be improved is overheating when in normal use. If you take 4K videos for a couple of minutes in summer the phone gets hot, decides it needs to cool down and stops for a bit.

the iPhone 15 isn't a huge upgrade but from having this phone for a month now i can distinguish somethings from iPhone 14, but small things were changed in the design. The iPhone 15 has a slimmer design, and the bezels were reduced. There were new colors like blue, yellow, black, gray, and pink although the blue looks more like white. You still have the same screen options as mentioned earlier from the 14. The display of the iPhone 15 had a good upgrade now being an OLED panel that improves brightness and color accuracy. Images and videos. The Pro Motion technology was introduced to iPhone 15 and what it did was make the iPhone more responsive things like scrolling improved it just made transitions more fluid.
Performance is the most important thing on the phone to make sure it works well. I have not had any issues with the phone, no lag or delays, perfect transitions. The iPhone 15 uses the new A16 chip. The iPhone 15 has excellent performance with the capability to multitask. There have been improvements of the A.I (siri) making her smarter and much more and like in every iPhone the camera has been improved for better quality pictures and videos. The camera is a very important part and it's the reason some people may even buy it. The iPhone 15 camera has improved the sensors and optics, the camera can take high quality pictures from far.
Obviously, I could go on for days about how great this phone is but I highly recommend you buy it. You have options between iPhone 15, iPhone 15 plus, pro, pro max. These have small differences but the same for the most part. This phone is a must buy it has everything you need and trust me you won’t regret it. The things that were improved in the iPhone 15: camera, chip, material. The iphone 15 is a amazing phone and I highly recommend it.

The bad (nitpicking):
Still using a 60hz screen. Large dynamic island for front facing cameras. No clean or consistent way of navigating backwards. Difficult to close the keyboard. Control and notification center are in separate screens. No numbers row on default keyboard.
Overall I’m happy with my choice. A great phone for someone that doesn’t need something bloated with unnecessary features.

In terms of performance, the processor on the iPhone 15 handles every task I've thrown at it like a dream, including gaming! Battery life so far is impressive. 5+ years of software support means my new iPhone will get better over time. Overall I am glad I finally upgraded to the iPhone 15 and hope to get another 4 years out of it. Highly recommend saving money with the regular models as they have most of the important features without higher prices.

The phone's battery is amazing, it automatically sees when you use the phone through the day and how much you use it and it optimizes the phone to match you.So for the first week I had 10-30% after school but now (1-1.5 month later I come with 40-70% (depents from the use). It isn't lasting days but I can make it through the day with no problem or with 10-15 mins charge (if I play all day long). It goers 0-100 in 1 hour I think, I charge it only at night so I am not sure.
Bags
Instagram still has a lot of bags and it also lags some times with dynamic ( when I put like 4-5 things like timer, spotify, gps). But lets be honest, how many times will you need all of them ? I did this just to test the phone.
Lags
It has some lags and bugs but it is not so important, I wish they fix it soon. Most bugs are in instagram so I don’t think it is the phone's fault.
update after 1 months of use, bags or lags are so rarely I can't even remember one to tell you. All the bags I had at start where because of the games I played (small developers that couldnt handle the game and ended up in some lags)
Speaker
Speakers in this phone are just amazing, very good bass and very very high quality. It is, without a doubt, the best speaker I have heard on a phone.
Camera
Camera is just amazing, the normal mode is mid but the cinematic 4k is amazing, instagram camera though is better than normal (in just photo, no portait or video) because it uses some short of ai to make the queality better and it is just amazing.I am impressed by this.
Temperature
Temperature is not getting high, as we all hear on TikTok, it goes up a little but only when I use the phone to it’s limits (like gaming while listening to music with Bluetooth, airdrop and mobile data on).I think it’s normal for just this situation.
Don’t forget I have the private screen protector (the one that darkens when you look at the photo from an angle) so everything is darker and cleaner, I advise u to get one.
Is it worth it ?
If you have the money then ???, but if you have to save for months to buy it then ??. It is worth as a "phone" not as "money compared to the phone". So if you dont mind spending that much money then I 100% advise you.

The biggest difference that I have noticed is that the newer iPhones are designed to have a longer battery life. I never use social media on a cell, but I do frequently use SXM, iMessage, and various news throughout a day. The charge on my old cell would last 2-3 days. My new cell charge lasts 4-5 days. It was setup with iOS 17.0.2, and it recently updated to 17.0.3. One of the updates in 17.0.3 was to address overheating that was observed by some with the iPhone 15 Pro. Overheating was not observed on my cell. The sound from SXM is noticeably improved on the iPhone 15. The cell exterior felt slick, so I bought a case. Enjoy!

If you’re used to an IPhone to update from, it’s worth it, but don’t expect any great improvement in how the phone works. There’s very few modifications. It’s still easy to use though.
If you don’t really need to upgrade…. don’t.

I contacted DPD who said they would deliver on Saturday instead, but this time they took a picture of the driveway to the apt...we thought we were winning...getting closer...but no, missed the goal again. Monday, eventually, they managed to make it to my door!
But this was a process that made what should have been nice, super stressful. I was really concerned they were just going to fling it somewhere because by that time, I'd posted on the local fb page to see if others had problems with DPD and the news was not good....
But to the phone itself.... I love it. It is so much better than the old android it replaced. The sound quality is superb, the camera wonderful and I love the portrait mode that blurs everything around the thing you are focusing on. It links up with my iPad for the image gallery which is handy. Charging wise it's really fast and the charge lasts a long time. It's also very quick to respond to commands on it. I picked this one as a bit of a workhorse to last quite a few years, and I think it fits the bill. Ultimately very pleased with the phone but nil points to DPD.

The phone arrived at around 2-3 days after I placed my order, and I took my time to write a review to check for issues. Medyo hesitant ako at first pero I really needed a new phone na and gusto ko talaga ng iPhone. At first I was looking at the 13 series kasi it was the one within my budget but when I saw this on sale, almost the same price na sya with the 13 so I got this instead. No regrets at all!
Kinabahan lang ako nung chineck ko imei sa box pero need pala naka activate muna yung phone para maregister yung serial and imei sa Apple.
Checked the battery health and cycles. It was at 100% and 0 cycles. First use was on June 2024, so it was really fresh out of the box. SG variant sya (1 physical sim, 1 eSim) and has 1 year warranty din which you can claim sa any authorized store as long as may receipt.

The phone's battery is amazing, it automatically sees when you use the phone through the day and how much you use it and it optimizes the phone to match you.So for the first week I had 10-30% after school but now (1-1.5 month later I come with 40-70% (depents from the use). It isn't lasting days but I can make it through the day with no problem or with 10-15 mins charge (if I play all day long). It goers 0-100 in 1 hour I think, I charge it only at night so I am not sure.
Bags
Instagram still has a lot of bags and it also lags some times with dynamic ( when I put like 4-5 things like timer, spotify, gps). But lets be honest, how many times will you need all of them ? I did this just to test the phone.
Lags
It has some lags and bugs but it is not so important, I wish they fix it soon. Most bugs are in instagram so I don’t think it is the phone's fault.
update after 1 months of use, bags or lags are so rarely I can't even remember one to tell you. All the bags I had at start where because of the games I played (small developers that couldnt handle the game and ended up in some lags)
Speaker
Speakers in this phone are just amazing, very good bass and very very high quality. It is, without a doubt, the best speaker I have heard on a phone.
Camera
Camera is just amazing, the normal mode is mid but the cinematic 4k is amazing, instagram camera though is better than normal (in just photo, no portait or video) because it uses some short of ai to make the queality better and it is just amazing.I am impressed by this.
Temperature
Temperature is not getting high, as we all hear on TikTok, it goes up a little but only when I use the phone to it’s limits (like gaming while listening to music with Bluetooth, airdrop and mobile data on).I think it’s normal for just this situation.
Don’t forget I have the private screen protector (the one that darkens when you look at the photo from an angle) so everything is darker and cleaner, I advise u to get one.
Is it worth it ?
If you have the money then ???, but if you have to save for months to buy it then ??. It is worth as a "phone" not as "money compared to the phone". So if you dont mind spending that much money then I 100% advise you.

This is from someone who doesn’t use the battery saver options either. I like my phone bright and usually run full brightness. Good device, USB c is nice, super fast to charge with a USB c charger. The only reason I upgraded to this new iPhone was because the operating system on the iPhone 6 had reached the stage where it could no longer be upgraded, so some websites could not be opened properly as they had modern programmes. Transferring all my existing info from my iPhone 6 to this iPhone was a breeze with Apples system…just put the new phones next to each other and blue tooth did the transfer for me. So this new iPhone holds no surprises for me but I feel that my experience with the iPhone 6 and its long term reliability will be true for my new phone. The only minor annoyance is that the plug and sockets for charging and various other attachments are not the same. My old iPhone is a lightning connection and this new phone is USBC meaning I also had to buy a new charger.

We love the two year guarantee (which has been tested and found to be reliable when had an issue with one purchased phone which was quickly resolved very satisfactorily), comprehensive grading system of used phones and great value pricing. Wouldn’t upgrade anywhere else now!

So I always look at competitors to double check prices and almost always choose John Lewis for all my electronics.
The iPhone 15 is the latest version of the Apple iPhone (as I write this review). I'm about to go on a luxury holiday and wanted a better camera, so I went for this model for that main reason. I am pleased with the product and feel happy with my purchase. It will last a good few years and can get all the latest updates automatically. Which is always an other good reason for choosing the iphone15.

Small point but it would have made the buying experience better.

detailedReviews 122: content: Replaced a used iPhone 7 Plus with a new iPhone 15 two weeks ago, as Apple is no longer updating the iPhone 7 Plus. The biggest difference that I have noticed is that the newer iPhones are designed to have a longer battery life. I never use social media on a cell, but I do frequently use SXM, iMessage, and various news throughout a day. The charge on my old cell would last 2-3 days. My new cell charge lasts 4-5 days. It was setup with iOS 17.0.2, and it recently updated to 17.0.3. One of the updates in 17.0.3 was to address overheating that was observed by some with the iPhone 15 Pro. Overheating was not observed on my cell. The sound from SXM is noticeably improved on the iPhone 15. The cell exterior felt slick, so I bought a case. Enjoy!

A simple swap to a new phone. There’s not much difference between both phones, even after all the many years since the launch of the 11.
The camera is better, as are the speakers. Apart from that, it’s very much the same phone.
If you’re used to an IPhone to update from, it’s worth it, but don’t expect any great improvement in how the phone works. There’s very few modifications. It’s still easy to use though.
If you don’t really need to upgrade…. don’t.

I also took out the extra protection plus insurance for £200 (for peace of mind). I ordered the phone online and it was ready to collect from our local store the next day. No issues so far and the staff at the Newcastle upon Tyne store were extremely helpful and friendly.

The brand new iPhone from the official website is £800 - which was a bit out of my budget. I saw CeX was selling a grade A for £700 and, while reluctant, decided to purchase. I have never purchased any expensive items from CeX before.
When the item areived, it came in the original box with the original manuals and original cable, unopened. The phone came with 100% battery health and no marks whatsoever.
As it's also covered with 24 month warranty, I highly recommend!
