detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: I purchased my iPhone 15 back in March 2024. I use it for work and it is an essential tool for my job. I take hundreds of photos and videos per day and have to edit them on the spot. Using the programs the phone comes with like "iMovie" and "iPhoto" makes the device really convenient. However, I have to regularly set my phone in front of a high powered fan or stick it in the freezer for at least 5 minutes in order to get it to cool down. Once it heats up, it stops working properly and wont transfer any photos or videos to my computer. This eats up SUCH a big chunk of my day and makes me look really inefficient as a result.
To those looking to use this phone for its powerful processing and photo capabilities, be aware. This phone has caused me WAY more problems than any phone before it. It is not an improvement at all, in my opinion, from the previous phone models. I had an iPhone XR before this one and it worked SOOOO much better.
Besides the overheating issue, I have had other issues with the phone glitching and the pull down from the top of the screen not working. Sometimes apps will just freeze and quit on me. I just find this phone to be extremely frustrating to use. The USBC bullshit is so frustrating too. Its like apple really wants to piss off their customers. At this point, I am angry because I have spent years using and learning the apple products and now its all gone to shit.

detailedReviews 2: content: Original iPhone customer here since iphone1 . I upgraded with every model until 11. Until recently the 11 started having battery issues and charging issues. "Upgraded" to 15 max pro. WTF new phone @ 2 months old has trouble charging. Only certain older usbc cables work to charge but at first no issues with newer faster cables. So i started using Wireless charging as the phone sits next to me while i'm working. Now it Randomly disconnects and does not charge. Might as well just have a permanent AC hook up to the wall with this POS. Guess I'm going to have to waste my time and go to the apple store to trouble shoot a 4 month old POS phone. So good things about this phone? IDK you tell me. The Camera Sucks.. Non noticeable speed increase in browsing compared to a much older 11. Boot speed is ok? which you will need because the phone dies all the time. Connectivity seems the exact same as 11 which had 4g. Really just extremely disappointed in this phone.

detailedReviews 3: content: This phone is a JOKE in EVERY way! As is the service from Verizon. This has been one of the biggest nightmares of my life, and with severe health issues, it’s an even bigger nightmare that’s literally causing dangerous stress levels.
The phone camera is a joke! You can’t focus in on anything like important paperwork or any writing, on anything at all—it’s just complete blurriness. I can’t pair the Apple Watch series 9 I just got and need the info from for my heart rate issues. It’s now useless, and I’m paying $35/month on it for the next year, and I live on disability, I went from paying nothing on someone else’s phone plan to $100/mo. for this almost useless object, which they already want the money for! For a phone that doesn’t work except its WiFi. I can’t send or receive texts. I can’t receive calls or VMs. And it is way smaller than I realized, since I ordered it online. I went from a basic XR that sadly completely died on me last week. The XR blows this piece of garbage away in every way. As soon as I’m well enough to go to the store, I’m getting rid of this nightmare.
Really, just an absolute nightmare of epic proportions. And good luck getting any help. One person tried putting a second line on the darn phone! I want my FIRST one to work! NEVER AGAIN!!

detailedReviews 4: content: Extremely disappointed. My iPhone X screen touch screen no longer worked and I was locked out of my phone. I was unable to get it fixed even after going to repairs and using my insurance. The rebate for a new iPhone was not as promised. Only received 1/2 the value versus entire amount as advertised and first told by the Verizon employee at the store. My new iPhone 15 overheats. My texts are not being delivered consistently to others or my phone. iPhone 15 utilizes totally different chargers which added additional expense for my car, my home, my husbands car, etc. I have been a loyal Verizon customer along with my entire family for over 20 years, always pay my bill on time, and yet, have never been treated as a loyal valued customer. My phone bill has increased, I have a subpar new phone that cost time and money. My only recourse will be to stop talking about moving on, but actually take my business to another carrier. I have quite a few friends that have already moved to other carriers and Verizon was aware, but did nothing. I don’t expect to receive any feedback as I believe my review will be dismissed and only positive reviews are published in order to draw new naive customers.

detailedReviews 5: content: Horrible upgrade from iPhone 13. Used the Quick Transfer option with the 2 phones next to each other. What should have been seamless got stuck on the iOS18 update on the brand new phone for 10 hours overnight until we aborted it. Not a Wi-Fi issue! Spent 2 hours on the phone with Verizon trying to get phone properly activated after bypassing the transfer process and postponing the iOS 18 upgrade on the new phone. Now we have a nightmare because Verizon didn't tell us that using iCloud backup to restore a phone only works if the phone is factory reset (erased). This means we are back to square one. What a mess.
Go Android instead.

detailedReviews 6: content: Not happy so far with this phone. Took me hours to set it up as far as nothing saved was kept. I had to re enter every single password , more than once , I might add. Then all week having problems with focus. Alarm would go off , I’d get up and phone and watch still stays black. I’d have to play with it everyday. Today pushed it too far. My Apple car play was no longer on my car screen. Never thought that problem would turn out to be the Apple phone problem, but I went to the dealer and 3 technician looked at it ( 2 of them with the same car and phone as me) and couldn’t figure it out. Got 2 more new chargers and tried them. Also didn’t work. Was on my way to the Apple Store when my daughter looked and my phone , and isn’t even sure what she did but she went into Focus and tapped a few buttons to see if that worked. It didn’t appear to work when we were still at home. So I left the house to go to the Apple Store, turned my car on and seconds later my car play screen appeared. I called the dealer and they were happy it wasn’t on their end, but I have no idea if this will happen at will or again. I think Apple and Verizon need to give better instructions on setting up especially for seniors which they know o am ( 55+loyalty) I could have wasted a $199 deductible for the car warranty for nothing.

Apple’s innovation continues its downward trajectory with its annual rollout of laziness. The base 15 is laggy, functions do not always work, sometimes the screen will just go black for zero reason, and the battery is extremely underwhelming. If you are familiar with EA Sports’ Madden video game, this is its cell phone counterpart. A new iteration of the same junk from the previous year with just a few tweaks to call it new. It might be time (or well past time) to switch to Samsung

detailedReviews 8: content: I'm a huge Apple supporter. I've owned many generations of Iphone products and an Iwatch. I think I got a lemon with my 15Pro for many reasons. First, the thing will not sync with my watch, despite spending an hour "troubleshooting" it per Apple Care instructions. Second, the phone constantly glitches when I'm trying to send pictures via text or email. Like, you take a picture, and want to share it? That's a no go. The message screen is blank, the contacts do not appear. Also, when sharing a contact, the phone does not do it. So, I'm trying to share my contact, or a contact, suddenly the phone does not do it. Therefore, I can't share, and have to reboot again. It's embarrassing and a waste of time. So, if these problems are happening to you, RETURN YOUR PHONE ASAP. I'm having to reboot my phone several times a day just to get a basic function. Apple: Don't roll out stuff unless it's ready.

I hope they’ll fix this camera thing and heat up issues cuz it’s sucks really. I also notice some lagging when when i tap on upper part screen and tapping at the back feature

detailedReviews 10: content: Would like to warn everyone that somewhere in the fine print, if you are planning to turn your old phone in for credit, you must also convert to an Unlimited mobile plan. I was grandfathered into an older more affordable plan and somehow missed this requirement somewhere in the fine print.
After I turned in my old phone I received and unexpected text from AT&T saying “I needed to upgrade to an Unlimited plan or would lose the $350 credit” for the phone I already turned in and cannot get back. Unfortunately if I upgrade to an Unlimited plan it costs me even more to convert to the new plan than the $350 credit for the old phone. I would have been better off keeping my old phone as a backup than turning it in because now I am out of the $350 credit.
I called customer support to verify and they said that I’m out of luck. They were not very helpful.
What a bogus “deal.” Take your money to another phone carrier.
