content: Sufficient for IELTS prep. Just buy it! It's very good. In my view, this is all you need to prepare for the ielts exam if you have decent/moderate english speaking skills(and probably even if you don't, you will just have to practice more). This book will prepare you for the exam well. It has about 8 chapters of 3-5 pages each in the listening, writing, reading and 4 chapters for speaking. This includes one chapter each for general training reading and writing out of the 8 chapters each for reading and writing sections (So Read.-7+1, Writ.-7+1). It comes with a CD with lots of audio samples for you to practice. It has 8 academic level and 2 general training mock tests. These chapters contain exercises to correct common errors committed, utilise the tips given to perform better and give practice for the type of questions that come in the exam. The number of exercises in each chapter is sufficient. The lessons are highly detailed/focused and they help a lot. And the tips are really useful. It even gives you tips to improve your general english writing, reading, speaking, listening skills which you could utilise even after the exam. This book helped me to prepare for IELTS from scratch. I new nothing about it. But with the help of just this book, I was able to go for the exam very confidently and was able to prepare for and cover all aspects of the exam. Doing at least one mock test before the exam helps with time management and what to expect in all sections especially the listening one. I didn't practice any mock tests, so had a few surprises come my way in the exam. But overall I managed well. Overall I feel that this is a comprehensive book for ielts which covers all aspects of the exam:- describes the exam and its components/sections, chapters for practice and improvement, mock tests for practice of complete exam in one go. And it is thorough in its contents. P.S. 1. The listening test consists of one single audio where you will have to keep your headphones(provided by your centre) on your ears for the whole time duration of the listening test. This is because the audio is played only once and you can't pause the audio when you please. But in the audio itself, the speaker will give you some time, around 1-2 mins before and after each section's audio for you to read the questions beforehand and then revise your answers afterwards respectively before he/she starts to speak again. So basically pauses/breaks are already included in the audio itself. 2. Also one thing I found useful is to transfer the audio tracks and videos on the CD to your mobile(copy paste all tracks/videos to mobile memory), so that you can play it instantly when you want to. 3. There are tips also in the first mock test of the book, just in case you don't see them. I am writing this detailed review only because of how satisfied I was with this book as I was completely clueless before I found this book on amazon. But once I got it, I knew I just had to read and practice from this book and it would be more than enough for the test. And it has a lot of illustrations and is colourful, so is easy and fun to read. And the full book can be covered pretty quickly, if you skip the parts that you think will not benefit you. It can be done in 5-7 full days at a relaxed pace(even lesser if you push it), but as speeds can vary from person to person, please start reading as early as possible, then gauge for yourself and plan accordingly. trainer to achieve certain height level in English yeah so I'm a aiming for the C1 or C2 level of course or some uh Aid or nine score in IELTS test it's pretty hard and it feels unreachable but uh since I have the courage and the guts to keep learning I'm like really achieving the negative ones is does not include grammar guidance and list of vocabularies so since this is a trainer book there's no such basic grammar in it so all you have to do is answer the questions um train your ability to answer the question formally academically and scientifically so it's pretty hard and you have to find your own vocabularies on Google you might search it or do something to expand your vocabularies and trainers May individually study by reading the instruction so it's pretty hot since it's a self-study book and like you have no guides to guide you this book so yeah that's the cons one yeah so the analysis is questions are written in a formal way since it's from Cambridge and some have key answers yeah if I'm not mistaken the key answers are put in the back of the page page and it gives clue to readers to examine examine both questions and answers so you sometimes I do not know how to answer it so I take a look of the key answers and also I supposed to I'm supposed to answer it that way yeah so yeah two examine both questions and answers and why must buy it because it contains more than 14 400 pages of IELTS Solutions and strategies to improve performance and full academic practice tests and develop skills yeah and I highly recommend this book because I've done some research uh about the similar books of like guide to IELTS TOEFL toe wake or English testers but this one is the best one so I highly recommend this and recommend it to whom it is highly recommended to audience who are willing to take the IELTS test and practice readers English skill to a higher degree most targeted to C1 or C2 Achievers like me yay so let's get into the listening section one which audios are given and have the exact number as in the book and I bought it from shoppie and when it's delivered I got the audience as well and each question has like this this thing right here and it has the numbers as in the Audios in the G drive yeah and it brings you how to determine words that are spoken and learned how to spell them correctly like some of us may uh may have that may know that English is not our first language or mother language and it's pretty hard to learn English so anyway is not that easy it uses for this absent yet the speaker spoke very clearly and gently and the questions are easy to take and are related to the audios yes that's really certain by listening to the conversation you'll get to know some new phrases that you might use on your daily basis so English has so many things that we actually do not know some of them like talk with idioms or phrasal verbs that are really hard to learn so by listening to it you could use them and apply them too daily basis yeah and mirrors of vocabulary in mechanical Parts Maps attitude and Etc okay the second one is the reading section um in this section you'll learn how to measurement the features of reading passage so take a look of this this is a reading passage just do it by yourself and yeah get to know how to skim reading like 100 words per 30 seconds to get to know the main audience when it comes to the reading section you'll you'll be given like so many paragraphs and you have to read it carefully really fast because you know sometimes it's tickling new vocabularies of course and learn to understand formal and academic essays topics so there's always example as you can see academic essay I hate it actually Okay the third section which is writing section contents academic writing and general training writing you all trained to write some academic essays and yeah harder you have to use for more words and not to use to use P the same words that you've used before so most of the questions are are given a chart and graphs interests us to analyze and write what's mentioned in the graph the next one is to rewrite sentences from active to passive the last one is complete and correct sentences go ahead and yeah last but not least is speaking section the most crucial part we're speaking from verbally are involved they have like the tips how to answer questions like this strategy and like to answer questions structurally while being interviewed so yeah it helps trainer give alternative answers so um they might ask something that we haven't done before or we were not fond of it but you can you cannot just say no or I don't know just use some alternative answers they don't care if you really have done it or not so just make up things so simple dude these are the example of
