I have kept the full charge level set at 90%. I charge from 10-11PM and next day around the same time the remaining battery shows 15-18% charge. Final verdict. It's a awesome, compact, good camera capable phone with long lasting battery. Just go for it.

I'm thrilled to report that there are absolutely no heating issues, even during extended gaming sessions. The camera, too, has been a pleasant surprise, consistently capturing excellent images, further enhanced by its impressive AI editing features. And the display? It's incredibly crisp and vibrant. What's more, the battery optimization is so good that you can enable all those battery-hungry animations and display settings and still comfortably get a full day of battery backup. A thoughtful feature I particularly appreciate is the option to restrict charging to 80%. Even with this limitation, I consistently achieve an impressive 7 hours of screen time, often with 25-30% battery life remaining by the end of the day. The user interface and animations are remarkably well-optimized, offering a smooth and fluid experience without any noticeable bugs so far. As someone who invests in a phone with a minimum multi-year horizon in mind – my last device was a Pixel 4a, which I moved on from due to its software and security support ending – this new phone truly fits the bill perfectly. I'm eagerly anticipating the Android 16 update!
