detailedReviews: detailedReviews 1: content: Purchased this to replace an iPhone 6s used by an 88 year old who was very nervous of getting a replacement due to having to get used to new technology features that any new phone would have.
The transfer of phone data had a few minor problems but that was due mainly to the older phone having not been able to update the software for a long time due to it being so old. Made sure everything was backed up to iCloud and passwords were available etc.
Transfer did take nearly a day but after a few Google searches to rectify problems and a restart for the whole phone everything came back . Just needed to update certain Apps to the latest version ( including emails) and it came back to life!
The recipient of the new phone is highly delighted. After a brief tutorial on basic operating ( ie no home button any more which now requires swiping up and using face recognition ( although password is still in use if face recognition is not recognised). They are now using it to access the web and is highly delighted in being able to view various sites at ease ( John Lewis etc)
The phone is not too heavy . The chosen one was the white which comes with a silver edge although now it is in a Apple case with an Apple approved screen protector which is 2 x tougher and so great in case it is accidentally dropped.
The battery life is excellent. Phoning out is easy for them and they can still easily use WhatsApp ( just needed to check some settings in the new updated version as the photos needed to be saved from messages into the photo suite as this had not done as a default from transfer) and they have even created their own Emojis through the Ai intelligence system that it has.
The camera is perfect for everyday use and the amount of storage of 128GB is totally adequate.
A great entry price and will hopefully last for a few years.
Just remember if purchasing this you may require a new phone charger which was also purchased.
Charging is quick and they like the way the charging pins on the charger retract down for easy storage etc.
Definitely an Apple phone to consider for size and with excellent user friendly technology.

title: Great for elderly, easy to use, good battery
detailedReviews 2: content: Purchased this iPhone 16e for an elderly relative who had a very old iPhone 6S that no longer could backup to the latest software and was very slow. The recipient was reluctant to change but eventually they were convinced and it was purchased on the understanding that it would all be sorted and ready for them to use .
Initially the transfer of data took longer than expected due to old versions of apps etc but after a few Google searches the transfer completed. Had to update some apps to the latest version along with email account but other than that it was a seemless task. Just made sure ICloud was backed up each time. No data was lost at all.
The recipient had to be shown some new procedures for using it for example it no longer has an opening home button and now needs to open with swiping the bottom bar but this was soon mastered along with Face ID recognition. Excellent as an option in case they forget their password etc.
Purchased an Apple case which they like as it is smooth to touch and doesn't really add any more weight to the phone. Also purchased a screen protector - Apple approved as it made sense to protect an expensive item from drops and scratching. Needed to purchase a new charger as the old one was not compatible but they liked the Apple Charger as the charging socket pins are retractable so storage is easier.
The camera is great and they liked creating their own Emojis in WhatsApp.
Screen size great and you can adjust text size for messaging etc.
A very happy 88 year old owner who can now happily browse the web as well as use the phone for calling and messaging.
Very quick charging and the battery lasts a very long time before needing charging.

title: Good for elderly, easy to use, good battery
detailedReviews 3: content: I upgraded to the 16e from an iPhone 8. To me it’s a fantastic upgrade. Love the bigger screen. I thought I would really miss not having a Home button but I got used to not having it quickly & now I like not having it because it means more available screen-space. One of the most common things I heard people complaining about was that it doesn’t have MagSafe. First of all, it DOES charge on a MagSafe charger, EVEN WITHOUT A MAGSAFE CASE. I know because I tried! And it worked! Just not as quickly. My understanding is that it charges at approximately the same pace as *normal* wireless charging, not the extra fast *MagSafe* charging speed. But is that REALLY such a big deal? I mean it still can charge on the MagSafe charger overnight and thats plenty of time to get to full charge. Not to mention the battery life of the 16e is WAY better than my iphone 8. I use my phone a lot and can still get by with not charging it for almost 48 hours. If you want to use MagSafe accessories like a magnetic credit card holder…STILL not a problem! All you have to do is get a MagSafe phone case! Oh, & back to the charging topic again, why is it such a big deal to use the charging cable that comes with it? Its fast and like…not a problem. So I really don’t get why some people have made such a big deal about it not having MagSafe. They probably haven’t tried it & don’t know all the stuff I just mentioned. On a different tangent about Apple Intelligence, there’s a toggle switch in settings, you can easily turn off Apple Intelligence and turn it back on if u actually need it for something. And about the camera quality, it might not be quite as fantastic as some of the more expensive phones, but again, its way better than my iphone 8, which I might add, I was still winning photography prizes with up until last year (the most recent contest I entered). The difference in camera quality between 16e and more expensive phones is hardly noticeable to me (a prize winning photographer) based on several quality comparison videos Ive watched. I’m very happy with the photos I’ve taken with it so far. Anyway, overall Im very happy with the 16e!

title: Fantastic upgrade, better battery, likes larger screen
detailedReviews 4: content: Overall, I am pleased with the performance of this phone, an upgrade of the SE. They made it slightly larger and the home page screen fills the entire face, where as the SE didn't. Nice to see things better and a lot clearer. There is a lot more in the Settings area which you need to go through thoroughly. I had issues with the sounds not working because of the Notification settings not being applied. They all work now. I had an issue with the Gmail ringtone not allowing me to change it (issue with the Gmail itself), and no matter what I did to correct this, it didn't work. So I had to leave it as is. The one PLUS is the battery life - SOOOO much better and lasts a good two days +/- without needing a charge! I don't miss the home button. Swiping to close apps is wonderful and fast. Alexa is great with a "personal" voice - almost eery. You can set the voice for male or female. There is a lot in this phone and you just have to be patient to understand all of it. Oh, if you want to shut down the phone, you have to hold one of the volume buttons on the left side at the same time holding down the button on the right side. If you need further guidelines, go on YouTube for the tutorials. Again, overall it is a great phone.

detailedReviews 5: content: My old iPhone 5SE served me very well for eight years - yes I know - I was resistant to changing it. The iPhone 16e came along just at the right time for me - it could have been designed with me in mind. It has a great camera, not as featured as some but absolutely perfect for the pics I take. The battery capacity and charge longevity is brilliant - not having to worry about running out of charge means a lot to me. I always liked the compact screen size of the 5SE but I am a convert to the size of the 16e which combines portability with clarity and ease of use. Over eight years I had amassed a lot of content, like photos, documents etc and I was nervous about losing stuff that was important to me when transferring to a new phone. I needn't have worried - the whole data transfer process was very straightforward - and successful! I am very pleased with my new iPhone and the two year warranty included by John Lewis is a reassuring bonus. The whole purchase process was seamless and a credit to John Lewis.

detailedReviews 6: content: Ive had the iPhone 16e for about a few weeks now and honestly, Im really happy with it. I upgraded from an older iPhone and was a bit unsure at first, but this model has totally won me over.It runs super smooth no lag when Im switching between apps or scrolling through social media. The battery life is actually better than I expected. I charge it overnight and it usually lasts me the whole day, even with lots of use.The camera takes great pictures too, especially in good lighting. Im not a pro photographer or anything, but for everyday shots and videos, it does the job really well. Plus, the design feels nice in the hand not too bulky, not too slippery.Overall, if you dont need all the fancy features of the Pro models, the 16e is a solid choice. It feels like a good mix of performance and price. Definitely glad I went with this one!

detailedReviews 7: content: Very happy with this iPhone. I didn't need all the bells and whistles but I did need a fast processor a camera that would capture the night sky (low light) decent battery life and a slightly larger screen. This phone certainly has all that. I'm hoping to get at least 5 years out of it, as per my previous iPhone SE2. The most impressive thing for me is the battery life, it just keeps going. Apparently, that is largely down to the first ever Apple modem as opposed to the Qualcomm modem found in previous iPhones. The only niggle I have, is the notch in the top of the screen, but I am getting used to it. Definitely a 5 star phone though.

Really like that I could customize the Assistive Touch feature to make things like taking a screenshot, photo or turning on the flashlight super easy.
Minor but I haven’t found how to navigate to my Notifications without being in Lock Screen mode. It used to just pull down from the top of my previous phone. And I wish fingerprint ID was still an option.
Otherwise, really pleased!

Bought this to replace my almost five years old SE2. Such a great upgrade; the battery life lasts me a whole day and a half. I only have to charge one time a day and maybe once every two days (on days where I don’t use the phone much). For a regular user like me, this phone is great enough. I don’t need fancy features like MagSafe or dynamic island. This phone is perfect for me.
It takes some time to get used to the size bc it is bigger than my SE2, but I can still use the phone with one hand (I have pretty big hands; 17cm). I really wish Apple can bring forth small phones again. Nevertheless, I hope this phone can last me another 5 years. Maybe 10 years? Perhaps!

detailedReviews 10: content: I was waiting for the update to the iPhone SE as the 16 was too expensive for me. I’m glad I waited as the iPhone 16E is a really good upgrade from what I had. I choose the 256G as I was fed up of running out of space and I now have plenty of space for all the apps I want. Face ID is really useful as I can hold the phone in anyway to unlock it or any of my passworded apps. The process of moving everything from my old phone to this was extremely easy as was set up. The addition of Satellite calls in emergencies is reassuring too. The size is good for me - I’ve made the text very large and it works fine on the screen size. A good balance of readable and fitting in my pocket. Very happy.

detailedReviews 11: content: The title sums it up. I can spend a fortune on tech, in fact I have and whether it's optical, IT or audio, I'm always on the lookout for good kit. Phones though, well they don't really excite me. But, my last iPhone an XS was letting me down after 8 years so I looked for something that would do all I really wanted in a relatively small form factor. This 16e just does it all for me. It handles all I need really well and was delivered fast by JL. Some folk are just phone daft and need the latest and greatest, but when all you want is a quality phone with good enough camera, decent memory and with all the advantages of an iPhone to integrate with other Apple devices, you really couldn't go wrong with this one.

detailedReviews 12: content: I’m upgrading from a 4+ year old iPhone 12 64gb (which I always liked but the battery is getting tired) and this 16e 128gb totally meets, even exceeds, my expectations. I wanted USB-C charging, a better screen, longer battery life, upgraded processor (future proofing) and more storage. I don’t care about a wide angle lens - rarely used it on my 12 - and the 48 MP camera on this one is so much better. The screen is brighter as well. And the battery life is crazy good! It’s just the right size as it’s identical in size to my 12 which I liked. For the price, this is the absolute best iPhone value in my opinion.

Some stuff I don’t use because I’m leery of giving Apple too much control. I have a long way to go before I understand the full capabilities of this phone, but so far I am impressed by the speed and options. I love the color. We are not particularly 'techy' but were just about to go on holiday so wanted a good camera option which more than fits the remit. I like that you can use a tool to remove an unwanted feature in a photo such as a sunbed, for instance. The screen is bigger but not too big so easy to handle. The action button is a good idea to lock in feature used must often such as silent mode. Lives up to battery life promise and holds its charge for far longer than any previous phone we've had. Yet to discover all it can do but overall happy.

Same size as 13/14 so not too big but easier to read etc. also good it's 5G and latest chip/tech so hopefully won't become obsolete as fast as more expensive and older phones. Sure AI will be a winner for many. I suppose it's good value compared with the rest of the range but still think it's outrageous we pay £60 more in the uk for the same phone sold in the US. Impressed with John Lewis availability/delivery as it only came out in Feb

I have a huge number of photographs and they all arrived speedily. I'd been having to delete apps to give me more space, now I don't have to. I still have 257gb free which shows how desperate I was for extra space. So far it's the perfect phone for me - until I run out of space again!

The actual phone is speedy and able to handle multitasking. The camera is 48MP single lens unit with good low light and fast motion capture. FYI for low to no distortion use zoom up to 2-4X anything beyond that is digital focus only. Overall, a great unit for the RRP.

It was with some trepidation that I decided to upgrade. However, my fears were unfounded as the device is easy to understand and use. The c1 modem is amazing for our patchy Australian mobile reception and saves battery in this regard too. 2. 60hz is enough and your battery life will thank you for it, I've just come from a nothing 3a with 120hz and cant tell the difference. 3. a18 chip is pretty future proof and very efficient. By ordering the phone from AT&T it came with my phone number preloaded on the new eSim. detailedReviews 46: content: My old iPhone11 reached a point where it would no longer charge, so I bought the iPhone 16 to replace it. To be honest, it is mostly the same as my old phone with a few less desirable exceptions.
I haven’t tried some of the newer features (like Apple Intelligence) so really can’t comment on them. There are a couple of annoying physical features that bother me, though. I had to disable the dedicated camera button on the bottom right side, because it is way too easy to hit it unintentionally. I also don’t care for the “silence” button, which used to be a small switch on older phones. It’s easy to mistake it for the “volume up” button, which is a pain. I imagine that it’s possible to disable it the same way that I did with the camera button, though. Nonetheless,I preferred the switch.
I am also not too pleased with Apple’s decision to change the power input from the lightning cord to USB-C. This ensured that literally none of my old cables could be used with my new phone, although that may have been Apple’s intention to begin with. [EDIT: I have since learned that they switched to the USB-C port to comply with a European trade agreement, or something of that nature].
One other problem I’m having is with the wired headphones that I prefer to use during phone calls. I specifically bought a USB-C to 3.5 mm adaptor for that purpose, but quickly discovered that the person on the other end couldn’t hear me. This was never a problem with my iPhone 11. Yes, I know everyone is going wireless these days, but I don’t like iPods because a) I can’t get the same degree of sounds isolation, and b) they constantly fall out of my ears. It doesn’t make any sense that simply plugging my adaptor into the charge/headphone port would mute the receiver, but that’s exactly what is happening.
Before this starts sounding too negative, I like the fact that my new phone connects to the Bluetooth in my car much more quickly than it did on my old phone. It also allows me to quickly switch between app screens without having to swipe up & right. Additionally, I’m curious about the iMovie app that came preinstalled, as I’ve considered recording video for my YouTube channel. I will therefore give the iPhone 16 the benefit of the doubt, as I’ve only had it for a week now, and will probably find helpful new features moving forward.

detailedReviews 47: content: This is the third iPhone I have owned, the others were the iPhone 6s, and the iPhone SE third generation. I bought the iPhone SE third generation in November of 2024 and it was a great phone but I found that it was too small for me. So I saw that Tracfone was offering the iPhone 16e a phone that has only been out since February. I checked out Apple's website and other sites to find out more about the phone and I liked everything I found out about the phone. The price is a little steep, but it's cutting edge, so I decided to order it and I'm glad I did. Apple made it easy to move all my apps and files from my old iPhone to the iPhone 16e with no input from me. Tracfone has made it easy to move my phone number over to the iPhone 16e, all done on Tracfone's website. The iPhone 16e doesn't have a sim card but has 2 ESIM's built in. First of all this phone has a very long battery life and according to Apple it has the longest battery life of any iPhone. This phone is hearing aid compatible and its really nice to be able to be able to talk on the phone hands free. It has a beautiful Oled screen which is very bright and clear and great for FaceTime with someone and also videos. It has one main camera that is 40 megapixels and the front facing camera is 12 megapixels. It takes great pictures and if there is something in the photo that you wish wasn't there it's easily removed. One feature I like is if you can't identify something you can take a photo of it and the built-in software will tell you what your looking it for example identifying flowers, but it can be anything. I'm sure I won't be using all of the features of this phone but I am continuing to learn more about this phone everyday. Combine this iPhone 16e with Tracfone's great rates and you have got a real winner. So if your thinking about a new phone the iPhone 16e is the one to get, you won't be disappointed.

title: Too small, steep price, but good features
detailedReviews 48: content: This phone is not for those who have had an iPhone 11 or newer. It is more designed for those who are coming from iPhone SE (1,2,3), iPhone 8s, iPhone 6s and that are not accustomed to Face ID, bigger sizes, iOS 18 software. The iPhone 16e is a great entry level phone for those who don’t care about MagSafe charging, fast charging, fancy camera and video settings that you most likely will never use, and all the fancy specs. If you are coming from the above phones, the iPhone 16e does take some time getting used to a more gesture based phone, but after about 3 days you’ll start to get more comfortable.
The iPhone 16e also starts at 128GB of storage which is super awesome! And the iOS software and its apps (if you keep them) take up maybe 25-27GB of the 128GB, so you’re left with ALOT of storage space. Which coming from older iPhones this extra storage is very useful.
The screen is awesome, clear, and crisp so those coming from older iPhones will greatly appreciate this. The camera works well as a regular point and take a picture camera (this is how I take pictures on my phone anyway lol) and get a good picture out of it. It also has a way better zoom than the older phones, so you can get some good pictures of things that are farther away. Night mode is low key very clutch, being able to take pictures at night is pretty sweet!
The battery life is substantially better so far. I’ve only had to charge my phone every other day so far, compared to twice a day on the iPhone SE 2 I was using for 4 years which is pretty nice.
The speakers are awesome! You will be able to hear music and sound much more clearly and not have to turn the volume up too loud to hear. You will need to get adapters for your charging ports that will convert from USB-C to regular USB or purchase one that’s a USB-C charging port. The charging cord that comes with the phone is actually really nice! It’s corded material, so you won’t get the turtleneck effect on the cord lol and it’s a decent length 1m/39in.
This isn’t a “budget” phone and Apple never said that it would be. But, for me the price $599 ($641 for me including tax for the state I live in) was well worth it for the upgrade.
Everyone will have their thoughts and opinions about what iPhone you should pick and what makes one better than the other. I say decide on whichever one that resonates for you. And from my experience with the phone so far coming from an iPhone SE 2, this has been a pleasant transition for me to the lineup of Apple’s current phone designs. I do still miss Touch ID and slightly smaller screen, but they’ve done an excellent job making the body of the phone not feel big at all. It’s only about 1.25-1.5” bigger than the iPhone SE/8/6 phones. You will probably want to get a case, there’s plenty to choose from on Amazon for affordable prices. If you get the iPhone 16e, I hope you enjoy it! :)

detailedReviews 49: content: Quality:Crystal clear display coupled with a matte glass back
Performance:Smooth navigation of the UI, prolonged gaming (up to 1 hour) only warms the phone, no lags or stutters
I was initially skeptical of how well the binned A18 chip would fare against the similarly priced iPhone 15, but 2 weeks of using it has me convinced that this is an equal contender if not downright superior.
Apple Intelligence still sucks, if you only bought this device for AI, prepare to be disappointed. The speakers are crisp and detailed when streaming music, with a boomy bass. The earpiece (top) speaker sounded nearly as loud as the main (bottom) speakers, which was a good surprise.
UI navigation, app scrolling in Shopee and Instagram was super fluid with no stutters at all, despite the 60hz screen. The camera was able to take decent pictures as well. Action button is quite firm and requires additional strength to press, which is great as it prevented accidental mute toggles.
Gaming-wise, it was able to maintain stable 60fps for 1 hour at maximum graphic settings for Roblox. The TPU case is warm, but not uncomfortable to touch. This proves that the A18 chip is quite powerful and efficient.
The design (notch) is a little dated compared to the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 15, but the CPU + 2 GB extra ram (8gb) made it a decent choice.

detailedReviews 50: content: I have seen a lot of negative reviews about this phone and this is the first day that I am using this iPhone while I’m at work so let’s start with a performance. The performance on playing a game is very good if you’re not a typical gamer, but you wanna play some small games like KickTheBuddy or Any type of other game besides call of duty mobile this is definitely it. The performance of call of duty mobile is pretty good but if you want a better performance go with the iPhone 16 Pro Max or any of the pros of your choice personally if you’re just looking for a budget friendly phone, but you also would like to play some pretty good games, but you’re not like a heavy gamer on an iPhone then this phone is for you Moving to the speakers. The sound is phenomenal. Sounds a lot better than my 13 when I had it the camera on this phone is amazing. Nothing fancy I’m 23 years old and this phone is very very nice moving to the data. I can hear people a lot clearer whenever I call somebody The one thing that I am mostly concerned about is that everyone says that this phone does not have the Ultra Wideband chip, howveer, I can actually receive Ultra Wideband and I was able to track an AirTag on this phone. I have the white one so anyone that’s saying that they’re not able to get Ultra Wideband I was able to do that today and I have some pictures that show that I can actually have Ultra Wideband on this phone But overall this phone is phenomenal. detailedReviews 51: content: I have a iPhone 15pro and love it but bought a iPhone 16e for a family member. This is the lowest price new iPhone in the lineup.
Compared to my 15pro which cost almost double it's very comparable. Only lacking a few features which for many won't spoil the overall experience. Most of what makes an iPhone a iPhone is here.
Went with the Matt white colour which along with the silver band looks clean and stylish. The single camera is refreshing and a welcome change to the multiple lenses on other models. When on a flat surface it doesn't rock as much on a table as those with bigger camera bumps.
The c1 apple made modem a first for a iPhone has proven itself reliable and helps the phone battery last longer giving the 16e the longest battery life of any 6.1 inch iPhone that's come before it. A big improvement.
Face ID replaces fingerprint unlock from the older iPhone SE and is the preferable way to unlock your phone and way more secure.
The amoled screen is bright sharp and responsive.
Having the latest A18 processor and 8gb ram this model has the new Apple intelligence features so it's bang up to date today and for many many years to come since it's running the same internals as all their current iPhone 16 models.
Cameras are brilliant like all their iPhones have been for years.
Storage is plentiful starting at 128gb.
Just want a iPhone without breaking the bank but don't want a reconditioned or last gen model then the iPhone 16e is the one to choose.
New latest and greatest for the lowest price.
Recommended for all.

detailedReviews 52: content: As Apple continue to focus on being more Eco friendly, it means they've done away with their leather cases that I would usually go for so I have had to settle for the silicone case from Apple for the first time.
It functions well. When you put it on your phone, there is a little animation that plays on the screen that will tell you it's detected the MagSafe case and a rather nice detail is MagSafe colour appears to match the case colour. Very Apple!
As for function, it holds up well. It's exceptionally grippy so is very unlikely to slip out of the hand or move anywhere unless you want it to. This is great for securing your new iPhone 16 from damage however the whole case has two minor downsides to this.
1. It feels rubbery and cheaper than cases of old.
2. It seems to accumulate dust remarkably quickly.
But if you want something that protects the phone and gives you a bit more grip, it works.
The Denim blue is nice and I have it paired with my teal iPhone so on the back you get this small accent colour of green to an otherwise nice blue case.
I'd recommend!

I disliked my iPhone 15 so much that I actually went back and reactivated my iPhone 12 and used that for some time until recently getting the 16. It’s ok. The camera on the 15 and 16 are hands down, fantastic. But there are glitches! Since activating the 16 it goes into another language (Dutch-to be exact) when I use safari ir google or some other random apps I have. Verizon blames Apple, sends me there. Apple blames google. However, they failing to understand that it’s not just happening on the Google app. It is also happening on apps that I have purchased from my App store through my Apple account. That’s on Apple not Google. No one really seems to be able to help so I guess I’ll just learn Dutch🙄. Next after any type of communication with somebody whether it’s via text via email or via phone call, I have to manually put the phone into sleep mode because it won’t do it on its own regardless of the setting I have it on. And even after I do it manually it randomly picks up what I’m talking about and will response. Which kind of reminds me of past relationships. 🙇🏻 Besides that, the 14 functioned better. I have issues with the camera cutting on. It’ll just be completely black at times. When it comes to the ‘internet side of things’, the 14 functioned better for me. Had no issue with speeds. Maybe the AI part is actually an intelligent being that’s just tired of being mistreated. I do like the design of the 16. The features it has can be improved. I know Apple can do better with this. Please break out of the habit of repeating the same thing over and over again. I will always cherish the iPhone’s security features, but man, I’m about to just switch over to an Android product. I don’t wanna, but you’re kinda forcing my hand here, Apple. Lastly, as for the 16’s performance, eh, 14 performed way better. Honestly, I just think the AI feature was someone who went through a terrible heartbreak and was reincarnated as Apple’s AI. detailedReviews 55: content: Honestly, this iteration of the iPhone is lacking in elegance and performance. I upgraded from a 13 to 16 and noticed immediately the battery life was almost as bad as my old phone. It overheats and a performs self-dimming screen very quickly. Worst of all is that it does not sit flat and the angle it does sit at does not convey the vibrations on solid surfaces well. I've been on silent mode with iPhone since 2012 and have never had as much trouble with missing alarms and calls because I can't feel the vibration in my pocket or hear it vibrating on my desk. I am sure this was just due to rushed engineering for compliance with the new USB-C input. I do miss the elegance of the proprietary inputs that apple has always utilized. All in all, I'm sure this is just an off model in their series and will rectify these issues on their next release.

All the messages it keeps flashing up at me is rather annoying, rather than being helpful, as I haven't a clue if they are useful or not.
I have to search out helpful explanations or videos to understand how the phone works. I really just want to talk to people, not robots when I phone them, why make phones so complicated! If the thing got stolen or hacked, then your whole life is exposed. I try to use apps as little as possible to avoid such a thing happening. I have one minor complaint and one more serious complaint. Minor: it is too large and bulky for my taste. Major: it has trouble syncing with bluetooth devices. I cannot get it to sync with car speakers or with my BolaButty speaker. It does sync to earbuds, but that took multiple attempts and I can't figure out the issue. My previous iPhone synced seamlessly to multiple speaker devices. Not this one.

detailedReviews 60: content: I didn’t even set it up! And the reason being as I had heard/read much on the fact that this phone has issues using Bluetooth while streaming, etc., putting out a new product like that you would think that it would be perfect. I have still not heard whether or not Apple has Fix this issue. Waiting to see if an update to the software comes out soon. If so, then I probably would re-order it. I really liked everything about it. Now I am just waiting for my $700+ that I paid in full via credit card,at the time of the order. I was told by one of your representatives that it could take two billing periods that’s over two months to get the refund that is not acceptable. I do not appreciate that policy That AT&T has. Phone has been returned and has been received at your outlet in Fort Worth Texas! Please rush my refund. Thanks!

detailedReviews 61: content: I am a woman that rarely carries a purse. I am sad my SE took a powder, because it fit so nicely into my pockets. You see us women, for some reason, have shallow pockets compared to men. This IPhone 16 is much bigger and falls out my pockets. This phone is also wider and requires a button on the back to hold more easily, which catches on my back pockets. Another thing that is frustrating your company has a love of changing chargers and cords! I had to buy the plug for the new cord and a new power pack! What a waste of resources. Please bring back a small phone for an option and be more respectful of the environment. Thx

detailedReviews 62: content: Returned the iPhone 16 after having it a couple of days. Luckily, I kept my iPhone 14 so I could just reactivate it. There were no benefits to the 16 in fact, there were all kinds of things worse about it. The font was small and when enlarged for all the apps, some of the apps had huge font, and some of them had smaller font. The icons were tiny, and when they were enlarged, they were not labeled. When I brought it to the store, three people looked at it and had trouble helping me, I think they were figuring out what a terrible phone it was at the same time I was. I had four other people I know return their iPhone 16 because they could not figure it out and did not like it. Strongly unrecommend.

Best Feature:covered camera button and lightness
Good for pasmado / greasy hands. Super light. It felt like Apple made pairing colors to non-pro 16 models but not to the pros, especially for desert titanium. I had a hard time deciding a color that matches and I even had a survey among my friends. They validated my bias to plum, and lake green and denim blue comes next closely. I lowkey wished the fuschia to be popular but it ranked last. Only if there is a brown or mustard color. Delivery is fast by J&T as always.

detailedReviews 64: content: I had to replace my iPhone 13 because after the last update it was virtually useless. They do this on purpose. What don't I like:
That this phone will only work for the next 3 years before they force another for twice the price.
The camera button on the side is annoying; I keep accidentally clicking it.
The Apple AI is infuriating and not helpful whatsoever, I had to go in to my settings and turn it off for EVERY SINGLE APP ONE BY ONE INSTEAD OF EVERYTHING AT ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!
This phone is worse than any iPhone I have owned and it doesn't make sense why it's so much money. And why my 13 stopped working for literally getting updated.

detailedReviews 65: content: Quality:9/10 - there is a spot on a screen when peeling of the white sticker. It looks like a leftover glue but found out it is not and somehow looks like a dead pixel or maybe just the top glass layer of the screen. Still this tiny spot is very visible and distracting especially when the screen is in dark colour. Really easy to spot on. Tried to wipe with the screen cleaner aka the alcohol swab still it cant be removed. Hopefully this is covered in warranty.

If you don't plan to print the photos and want to just share it on social media where quality gets reduced anyway, camera is perfectly fine. Size is perfect for me, I do not like bulky phones anymore, it fits pockets perfectly. Only negative side is the 60hz refresh rate. For someone coming from a cheap android that has 120hz refresh rate screen, it is noticeable. You can get used to the downgrade though, but it is disappointing to pay for a more expensive iphone and see a downgrade.

Traded in an IPhone 13 mini for the iPhone 16 when Verizon offered the NEW free phone without having to change my lower level plan. It seems you always have to upgrade your plan and I did not want to do . The transfer was a little trickier this time phone to phone, but everything transferred over . I am still getting used to some of the new features, especially the AI items and really not sure how often I will use. iPhone 16 is a good size to hold with my small hands. The color choices of iPhone 16 are good
Overall, quite satisfied with the new iPhone 16.

Anyways, it’s a solid phone for those switching from Android. You wouldn’t really miss features you’ve never had. I’m also glad it’s almost as powerful as the base iPhone, so it’ll definitely have a long term software support.
For those with an iPhone experience, you may not like the missing features, especially those with MagSafe accessories.

Because the battery died, the trade in value at Verizon is $0. This phone was not even paid off, and I have a $250 lingering balance on it. Why am I expected to pay off this phone and pay $1000 (that I do NOT have) because of a problem with Apple? And no, there was no water damage or overheating. Just completely turned off and will not work. It has been 3 days with no phone, and nobody who pays this kind of money for a piece of metal should have to experience this.

Almost a week later and it’s still trying to sync my info from the cloud. Had to visit the Apple Store after visiting Verizon to request assistance with initial activation and was told my issue was an Apple issue not Verizon. Apple tech provided more assistance than Verizon with backing up my old phone, wiping the new one clean, and reactivating it along with my watch. The phone doesn’t stay charged for more that 12-hours and it does become very hot when using or charging. I guess I got what I paid for which was free phone full of tech issues.

So, they lied about "any", both in type and condition. I've been a customer for over 12 years, upgraded five other phones, but they stiffed me on the trade in on my phone and I have to pay the full price on it. They've sent additional offers with the same lie since, which is why if it seems I'm miffed, it's because I am. The iphone 16 is great. detailedReviews 73: content: This is a great case and meets Apple's usual standards for being a quality product. However, the caveat is that it attracts fluff from pockets very easily, so the smooth finish of the silicone material then takes on a slightly diminished appearance. The case is comfortable to hold and the MagSafe feature works well. I ultimately switched to an alternative case (with a built-in lens cover), and at some point will investigate options to clean it (I suspect soap and warm water will work). Overall, I'd recommend the case provided you accept it will need regular maintenance to retain a clean appearance.

title: Verizon switch over no good
detailedReviews 98: content: I recently traded in my very old iPhone 4s. I should have kept it. My new iPhone 15 is slow to almost not working. When you can open Goggle it takes very long to search. My 4s was much faster. I only get two bars and we are only 5 miles from a tower. My old phone never failed a call this phone does all the time. If you have an old phone that works keep it. BTW been with Verizon from the beginning of time.
