Coupled with frequent handwashing and sanitising, and the freezing cold temperatures of winter, I need an effective hand cream that will alleviate my symptoms. I absolutely loved this Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream! I have used other varieties of Aveeno hand creams in the past, but I can safely say that this one is my new favourite. This hand cream is non-greasy and absorbs completely into my skin, meaning that I can wear it and continue day-to-day activities; I normally don’t like wearing hand creams during the day because I find that they leave an oily residue on everything I touch. This hand cream does the opposite; it absorbs fully into my skin and continues to moisturise even through handwashing. My eczema has cleared, and my previously extremely dry hands are now smooth and moisturised; all the roughness is gone! I highly recommend this hand cream to eczema sufferers like myself who need an effective product; this hand cream is amazing!

It also seems like almost every lotion that I've tried either makes my hands burn because of the fragrance in them, or they aren't moisturizing enough. I decided to try this lotion and I felt like my hands were getting repaired every time I applied it. For the first time my hands were actually soft to the touch. With continued use of this product my hands are no longer chapped like they use to be. This is amazing for anyone with sensitive skin, and extremely dry painful skin. Absorption Fast absorbing, helped to soothe my dry, chapped skin instantly. Effectiveness This is the most effective hand cream i've ever tried. It didn't make my hands feel greasy, and it absorbed to actually repair my skin. It took away all the dry chapped redness I had, and now i have silky smooth hands again.

Before finding this wonderful hand cream I tried many other brands including O'Keeffes Working Hands but none of them worked well enough to treat and prevent dryness. The Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream is the only one that has helped me. It has a non-greasy formula and it really lasts and protects your hands for hours after application. It also lasts through hand-washing if you do not scrub too vigorously. I still have to apply every few hours to prevent my hands from drying out but I do wash my hands quite often throughout the day. I don't mind the feeling.
My hands instantly feel hydrated and smooth after application and this lasts until I wash my hands - then it looses the 'rubbery' feel but the hydration lasts. I would agree that the hydration lasts through 1 hand wash, but any more and I definitely need to reapply - and, yes it would moisturise for 24 hours IF you didn't wash your hands more than once in that time.
This is a nice hand cream that doesn't feel heavy but does give a decent amount of moisture to the skin. I cannot comment on how it helps with eczema but it certainly helps when the skin on my hands crack.

From the first time of using the cream, only a small amount was needed to moisturise the hands completely, which wasconvenient as the content was dispensed via a small nozzle of the tube. The cream was made at the right texture, not tooheavy or lightweight, and as a result absorbed quickly leaving the hands looking fresh, smooth, and clean, with no evidence that cream had been applied. As an added bonus, even after washing the hands, their appearance remained unchanged. Despite having hand cream in the title, the product was also recommended for use on other parts of the body thatexperienced dry skin, such as the elbows and feet. Aftertesting the cream on these areas, similar to the hands, the skin felt softer and looked moisturised. On top of being affordable, long lasting, and available at various outlets, I would behappy to purchase this product.

The labelling promises that it lasts through hand washing and moisturises for 24 hours, and that the hand cream contains 'natural colloidal oatmeal' (8th ingredient?). Although it's called hand cream, it can be used for any dry skin. Product - The hand cream itself is an opaque white, virtually odourless light cream. It is not as thick as the Skin Relief Moisturising Lotion - so it does not 'hold its shape' like the lotion does. I think it must have similar emollients though because it feels very similar on the skin as it's melting in. Review - I really enjoyed using the Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream. I do feel that it made a noticeable difference to the dry, crepey look to the back of my hands. Especially with all the sanitising. Although it may not have lasted 24 hours, I am sure I didn't moisturise as frequently as I normally would. While my Summer Hand Cream has sun protection included I think this is my new favourite Winter one!!

I was surprised by the claim of “moisturises for 24 Hours” and “continues to moisturise even after washing hands” for a hand cream as usually I need to moisturise every time I wash/sanitise my hands. The instructions advise to apply daily or whenever hands feel dry, I find I use this hand cream 2 – 3 times per day to get optimum results, which make this cream great value. I still can’t get over that I am no longer having to moisturise every time I clean my hands. This cream is quite light, has a very light smell (which I find quite pleasant), smooths on easily and is absorbed quickly. I also love that my hands are not left feeling sticky. This hand cream is dermatologist recommended and contains skin nourishing natural colloidal oatmeal which delivers on soothing the itchiness of my hands and leaving them feeling smooth and soft. This is my first introduction to the Aveeno range of products and I will be trying more of this range in the near future.

This cream is able to moisturise the hands for up to 24 hours, locking in hydration and keeping skin soft and smooth all day long.
It even lasts through hand washing, now this is where I really needed this product. I really don’t like it when I put hand cream on to help with my dry hands and within 20 minutes I would need to wash my hands again and it normally would remove the product. As this hand cream locked in the skins moisture, my skin doesn’t dry out as it normally would with other hand cream.
I really love the light smell and texture of this product and it makes my skin feel so soft and silky.
This is now my number 1 hand cream, ideal size, perfect for putting in my bag and taking with me if needed.
My hands have been really dry and cracked due to this cold weather we all have been experiencing in Australia. I am so glad I had this Intense Relief hand cream as my hands feel so much better once I started using this cream.
It is also good when using a lot of those alcohol wipes to kills all the germs out there. This process can have a real drying effect on the skin. This is where my hands dry out a lot. Having my hand cream on each day it helps stop the drying out of my skin.

Ever since I have been using it, my hands have been looking so healthy and looked after! It is not very thick in texture and is easily absorbed. It is fragrance free…. has this slight medicinal smell that fragrance free products have. (I wouldn’t mind a tiny bit of fragrance though.) It is a tiny tiny bit greasy. I use it at night and massage it well into the skin. I then blot my palms gently with a tissue so I can go about doing my work (which is basically using my mobile phone 😬) My hands feel so soft and smooth in the morning. The best part is that it is very affordable. I bought it over the weekend for just $4 something on sale, from @priceline. I highly recommend it and will be definitely buying it again.

My first favourite mention is the thin squeeze tip. I love that you can precisely choose the amount you need. This hand moisturiser is high in petroleum (lets the moisture truly lock in and be absorbed). The dimethicone also gets a honourable mention.
I have dry hand especially with the constant need to wash because of work and this bad boy has helped so much. Once applied hands already feel soft and moisturised, even though the film last throughout washes I would still suggest to apply after every wash. We tend to look after our hands least even though they are used the most. Even if you don’t have dry hands I would suggest you use this product and really look after your hands. It has a beautiful scent of the oatmeal (this is un-fragranced). I love to apply a thick layer at night and out on plastic gloves (wake up in the morning with brand new hands). FYI: they are still your hands but better

However, it is never thick or sticky or waxy on the skin. "Ingredients derived from nature" refers to the soothing oat flour. However, there are plenty of chemical ingredients including petrolatum. I hesitate to revert to a product with petrolatum. I no longer have severe eczema I had earlier on, but I still need to remember to protect my hands from washing, irritants and just a long term tendency to dryness. The cream feels good. It is protective, and hydrating by it's quality of preventing moisture loss. Not sure about using a product with petrolatum, aluminium etc long term. My expectations of skin care have changed.

I also found that once I got towards the end of the tube it was almost impossible to squeeze out the cream and there was a lot of product left over that ended up going in the bin. items 26: content: This cream literally saved my hands! I used to have dry, tight hands that used to peel from washing them too much, and a few applications of these made all those problems go away! Not oily, not greasy, makes my hands super soft with consistent use.
I've heard that this withstands washing, but I don't think that's true because I do need to reapply every time I wash my hands.
The fragrance-free feature is a bonus! My nose can't take strong smells so this hand cream was especially ideal for me. I would really love to repurchase, but unfortunately Aveeno is NOT cruelty-free at all, so I will be searching for alternatives.

I had run out of my good quality, specially sourced hand creams (I'm a bit of a hand cream junkie!) and was left was no option but to grab something from the local supermarket. How could something so cheap from Woolies do any good?Oh boy- instead of a cheap and nasty product, I have found a prize winner. After a week of use, my hands are looking so much more nourished. They are generally quite dry, but because of my work I can't apply hand cream during the day. So I'm always on the look out for something that will kick some serious moisurising butt overnight. The cream is moderately thick, and fragrance free, so it shouldn't upset sensitive skin. It sinks into the skin easily, and while there may be some residue, by morning it has all gone. In it's place are more youthful looking hands that are plumped up and ready to take on the day.
