This saves a lot of time, paper and having to replace the manuals all the time, as the pages get worn out. The IPADS are user friendly, small to carry, durable and prevents mechanic from having to wait for another mechanic to finish using the work instruction manual. This IPAD has proved to be just what we needed to speed up the Maintenance Process allowing for better aircraft availability in order to trainer our Military Student Pilots on time. Most people who know about this complain about it but I believe not having the laminaited display (that you see on higher end tablets I.E. iPad Pro, iPad Air) is a great thing BECAUSE it makes repairing the iPads display much easier/cheaper. One must have accessorie for this Id have to say would be Apples keyboard case. The keyboard and back of the case attaches magnetically to the iPad, its quite secure. The back of the case has a built in kickstand that gives you multiple angles to adjust the angle of the tablet. Overall Im real happy with my purchase and think for most people this would be the best iPad to buy. Its cost effective, its fast and does 95% of what any other iPad does.

I think having a type-c connection is giving me a more sense of freedom, because I can use cables I already have. The sound is quite good with four speakers.
If I need to use it out side I could always connect to hotspot on my phone but I haven't needed to yet.
A down side is the cost of assesories such as the pen and keyboard.
The screen is fast and responds really good.
I am quite satisfied with my choice of tablet after considering a few others I could have chosen, I'm glad I've chosen this one.

Battery life? It’s still going longer than a Tom Cruise running scene. Honestly, I’ve seen relationships with less endurance.
Best Buy were legends. In and out quicker than a dodgy kebab. Polite staff, minimal judgment—even when I asked where the headphone jack went.

It is a lot easier to obtain desired information than from my desktop plus I get to sit in a more comfortable chair!
I am still learning all of its features, but I love its size, mobility factor and overall accessability.

The setup process was incredibly smooth thanks to the automatic iPad/iCloud device transfer. It took about 30 minutes, most of which was just waiting for the iPadOS update to finish.
This new iPad replaces his nearly 10 year old device, which had become painfully slow. Since he mainly uses it for Facebook and web browsing, the A16 chip is more than powerful enough for his needs and should keep things running smoothly for years to come.
To protect the iPad, I also got a ZUGU case. It feels noticeably more premium than other cases I’ve used, and the magnetic back support legs do a great job of keeping it upright and stable.

I had a 5-6 year old iPad with a drive so small I had to erase it to upgrade (the upgrades wouldn't find on the iPad with my stuff, and I barely had anything on it anyway). It had been slowing to a crawl. This iPad has been great in (1) giving me a sprightly/fast device again, (2) being inexpensive at under $300 on sale [under $200 with my trade-in] (2) & having a 64GB internal drive (no more space issues). While there is an even cheaper iPad (though not by much), its likly (1) Apple will stop supporting that sooner (shorter lifespan), and (2) its slower/got a slower processor/less space. So, it doesn't make sense to not just get this model instead (for my limited use of it). Anyway, I'm pretty happy with this model.

The Gen 11 no longer has the round home button on the bottom of the screen, instead has a button that performs the same function on the top right of the IPad which also serves as a fingerprint reader. That made me very skeptical so I stopped setting it up and called Apple to inquire. I hung up after 10+ minutes on hold and decided to return it. During resetting/wiping for return it asked me if I was sure I wanted to delete 19.99 GB's of data!! I had not even gone on the internet with it although I did set-up an Apple account. Where did all the data come from?? This is the first Apple item I've ever owned or even tried. I'll try again with another purchase from Best Buy. If the same thing happens again I will be looking for answers from Best Buy and Apple as well.

detailedReviews 96: content: I love my new I Pad. Before visiting the store I reviewed the Best Buy web site and already decided on the model I was most likely to purchase.
When I arrived at the store an associate quickly found the correct tablet in inventory and had a screen protector installed.
I also purchased a case to protect the I Pad and attempted to install my new tablet into it when I arrived home. I could not get the I Pad into the case even though it was the correct size. The next day I returned to the store and was informed that the case that I was sold was not the correct one and an alternative was found in the store which I exchanged for the incorrect one. I was somewhat surprised that there was no acknowledgment from the salesman that the incorrect case that was sold to me in error was the original salesman’s fault, no apology, not even a thank you! Little wonder that brick and mortar stores are failing when employees just don’t care. I could have purchased the exact same I Pad and case on line and saved $50.00, there is little or no incentive to go to the store, stupid me, I won’t make that mistake again!

I realize the age of earphone jacks has passed, and Bluetooth earbuds are handy, but it's yet another purchase. And wired earphones are a lot less fussy.
The bad news is that I couldn't connect my old iPad to the new one to transfer books, music, apps, etc., although they were on the same WiFi network. I needed another app (iMazing 3 in this case) on my Mac to make it happen, and that required multiple steps instead of the one it should have taken. Already owned iMazing, so it was not an expense issue, but Apple could make the process easier than they've done. Maybe my old iPad was just too old to connect? Not too old according to Apple, but too old according to Reality.

detailedReviews 98: content: OK, so we purchased this iPad after seeing the iPad in person. The iPad was an open box in fair condition. We were a bit skeptical before we even opened the box. We were worried that the item would be damaged in many places, but we had been looking for an iPad for some time. The sales guy opened the box and to our surprise the iPad was in perfect pristine condition. The only thing that was missing from the box was the charging block and cable. This is why I was put in fair condition. So heads up to any customer looking at open box items not all items are actually damaged. Some might be missing a simple $22 cable. The iPad itself had no scratches dents or any damage. It even had the plastic from the manufacturer still around the side. We saved over $150 on this item by simply asking the sales guy to review the item before we bought it.

detailedReviews 99: content: I bought this in a rush for a specific reason. I didn't research much into the features of this device as I was going by previous versions that I've had to use over the years.
This iPad is like many other iPads - rectangular in shape and able to do all the things you'd expect of a rectangular touching device.
My only gripe with it is the accessories - specifically the Apple Pencil.
I bought at the same time with this device a gen 2 pencil - didn't test it working in store as I had not done any device setup prior - i just assumed it'd work - i was very wrong.
Gen 2 pencils don't work with this gen of iPad - which is evident when you do a brief amount of googling in frustration at your own issues associating that device.
I returned the pencil to the CEX and got store credit - which was a reasonable compromise.
