content: Let me start with something no one writes about. UI: Power On. Hold the center button for 2 seconds and the earphones with say in a Japanese/Indian woman's voice, "power On, battery about 70%". She does not sound Chinese like the cheap Chinese headphones. Her voice volume level is not very high either. BT pairing: Turn off the headset, press and hold to center button but keep holding the same button. The headsets voice will say, Bluetooth pairing". Once connected, it will say, "Bluetooth connected". If BT disconnects, the voice says, "Bluetooth disconnected". Next track: Press and hold the + button for 2 seconds and the headset will make a cute "chime" and load the next song in the playlist of any app. I like this feature of the chime because this way I know the headset has accepted the command and loading the next track. However, holding the button for 2 second everytime you want to change songs can get annoying and painful if you want to skip a couple of songs of just skipping endlessly waiting for the right song to play. Buttons aren't very soft but do have a tactile click to ensure you feel the click when pressed. Power off: just like power on, hold the center button for 2 seconds and the headset will turn off. Volume up/down: No audible feedback, just volume increase or decrease. Status LED: Blue: when On and slow blinking when connected to bt. When in pairing mode, the same light blinks quickly in the same blue colour. Orange: while charging. Solid on. Green/off: 90% and above. Physical clues: tiny nub on the left ear plug to denote left side. Only reputed brands have it. Same tiny bump is made in the volume up button on the controller to denote volume +. Coloured Dots on the plastic controller to denotr left and right channel. Ear plugs are colour coded and fit very well in my ears. Most of the ear plugs fall out of my ears while talking. These don't. I use the smallest one. What does Sony offer? A very neat guide on how to insert the ear plugs in your ears the most comfortable way and ensure the best seal for clear audio. I've never known that you can pull you ear up from the top corner and gently place the ear plug into your ear canal. Once placed comfortably, drop the ear and let the ear canal seal in. Audio App. It's basically a music player designed to detect the sony earphones. If you use spotify you can use this app to setup an equaliser. It plays MP3 from your storage too. My phone already has a built in Equalizer. I don't use any eq because the sound stage on these is flat. So all types of audio sounds great. FAQ Is it flimsy? No, but feels like you might damage it if you're not careful. Does it really last 25hr? Yes, I've tested it sort of. And never managed to run out of battery. How much did you spend on it? 1.6k Audio lag? None. I tested it with Android TV, LG web os, Android phone, ps4 and iPad. No issues of lag or disconnection or audio drop on super quiet moments of the song. Bass? Very decent and controlled. Vocals? Very clear Treble? Sharp and crisp. Loudness? You can listen at full volume without much discomfort. But I'd suggest not to. I compared it with JBL wave tws100. The sound is very similar but a we bit less bass on flat eq. 80% Better than boat airdopes. 30% better than OnePlus bulletsZ.

blue color that we all love is there anything else inside and two extra pair of ear tips of different sizes sadly no charging cable included so let's have a closer look at the earphones now the first thing you need to notice is that they come with two capsules the one on the left actually says l which goes on the left side when you wear it and this is with the r which means this goes on the right side the one on the right is actually just a plain capsule which basically houses the battery and comes with the sony branding on it really nice the one on the left actually has the volume up and down button this two will help you to change tracks and the center button is to pair and to power it on and off if you go on the other side you can spot the single microphone which is going to be helpful for phone calls and right here is the usbc port to charge the earphones really really nice now if you see that the center wire here the wire that goes towards the back it's got a flat design which also is really good because it doesn't get entangled really good these are regular wires and finally the earphones now these earphones are made of plastic quality is really really nice and if you look closely you can even spot the sony branding on them there you go all right coming to the fit so firstly they go around your neck and thanks to that flat wire design it doesn't get tangled also they're really well balanced unlike many other neck bands that usually pivot on one side it's really good so let's talk about the earbuds and first we'll wear them and i'll tell you that they provide excellent seal wow canceling out most of the passive sound around me the snug in also really nicely and won't fall off how much ever you shake your head wow that gave me a head rush now these earphones also don't magnetically attached you know that's something we're used to seeing in most neckbands however i don't look at that as a big deal the controls are also very easily accessible right here on the left capsule you can find the pause play button the next track previous track volume up and down power button it's really really convenient then it comes with ipx4 rating so it's protected from mild splashes and sweat which means it's safe enough to be worn for a run or at the gym the battery on the c100s will last for 25 hours on a single charge which is quite good for such compact earphones best part they support quick charge 10 minutes of power will give you 60 minutes of music playback trust me that little time comes so handy then we also use these for phone calls here's a quick demo so the audio you're hearing right now is being recorded from the sony c100 microphones i've been told that the audio is really clear and audible with no noticeable lag or echo indoors it's very clear but outdoors it does capture a lot of ambient sound however you guys write down in the comments and let me know how you found the audio quality now sony hasn't mentioned anything about latency so we went ahead and tested it ourselves as you can see there is negligible delay or no delay while you're gaming it's almost spot on now these aren't designed for gamers but still definitely usable for casual gaming then the c100 comes with the sony headphone app support which unlocks tons of other features firstly this equalizer control you can choose from some presets there's bright there's excited there's mellow there's relaxed there's treble boost there's bass boost wow there's a lot then you can even custom set it as per your preference then 360 reality audio setup and finally dhwd which stands for digital audio enhancement engine it's a technology developed by sony to enhance the sound quality of the compressed audio files making them sound more rich and clear you can turn it to auto or you can turn it off and finally coming to the sound quality well after i custom set the equalizer from the app it sounded almost perfect sony drivers are tuned so well that they can't let you down they've got nice thumping bass deep yet still very clean they've got good highs and crisp vocals considering they're priced at just 16.99 they already offer more than you snippets: all right let's quickly open it up lots of paperwork here the nice sony blue color that we all love is there anything else inside and two extra pair of ear tips of different sizes sadly no charging cable included so let's have a closer look at the earphones now the first thing you need to notice is that they come with two capsules the one on the left actually says l which goes on the left side when you wear it and this is with the r which means this goes on the right side the one on the right is actually just a plain capsule which basically houses the battery and comes with the sony branding on it really nice the one on the left actually has the volume up and down button this two will help you to change tracks and the center button is to pair and to power it on and off if you go on the other side you can spot the single microphone which is going to be helpful for phone calls and right here is the usbc port to charge the earphones really really nice now if you see that the center wire here the wire that goes towards the back it's got a flat design which also is really good because it doesn't get entangled really good these are regular wires and finally the earphones now these earphones are made of plastic quality is really really nice and if you look closely you can even spot the sony branding on them there you go all right coming to the fit so firstly they go around your neck and thanks to that flat wire design it doesn't get tangled also they're really well balanced unlike many other neck bands that usually pivot on one side it's really good so let's talk about the earbuds and first we'll wear them and i'll tell you that they provide excellent seal wow canceling out most of the passive sound around me the snug in also really nicely and won't fall off how much ever you shake your head wow that gave me a head rush now these earphones also don't magnetically attached you know that's something we're used to seeing in most neckbands however i don't look at that as a big deal the controls are also very easily accessible right here on the left capsule you can find the pause play button the next track previous track volume up and down power button it's really really convenient then it comes with ipx4 rating so it's protected from mild splashes and sweat which means it's safe enough to be worn for a run or at the gym the battery on the c100s will last for 25 hours on a single charge which is quite good for such compact earphones best part they support quick charge 10 minutes of power will give you 60 minutes of music playback trust me that little time comes so handy then we also use these for phone calls here's a quick demo so the audio you're hearing right now is being recorded from the sony c100 microphones i've been told that the audio is really clear and audible with no noticeable lag or echo indoors it's very clear but outdoors it does capture a lot of ambient sound however you guys write down in the comments and let me know how you found the audio quality now sony hasn't mentioned anything about latency so we went ahead and tested it ourselves as you can see there is negligible delay or no delay while you're gaming it's almost spot on now these aren't designed for gamers but still definitely usable for casual gaming then the c100 comes with the sony headphone app support which unlocks tons of other features firstly this equalizer control you can choose from some presets there's bright there's excited there's mellow there's relaxed there's treble boost there's bass boost wow there's a lot then you can even custom set it as per your preference then 360 reality audio setup and finally dhwd which stands for digital audio enhancement engine it's a technology developed by sony to enhance the sound quality of the compressed audio files making them sound more rich and clear you can turn it to auto or you can turn it off and finally coming to the sound quality well after i custom set the equalizer from the app it sounded almost perfect sony drivers are tuned so well that they can't let you down they've got nice thumping bass deep yet still very clean they've got good highs and crisp vocals considering they're priced at just 16.99 they already offer more than you can ask for they've got good sound they've got app support they've got solid battery life by the way we're also doing a giveaway for these you'll find the instructions to participate below in the description you can buy these also from amazon in multiple colors i'll leave the purchase links as well in the description if you're looking for something that's light that's comfortable no fuss good sounding earphones then you can definitely opt for the sony c100s i hope this video was helpful if there are any questions mention them down in the comments and i'll be happy to answer them all don't forget to like share and subscribe until next time cheers

snippets: I think it's very good if you're going to be sitting in a chair and that's the truth nobody tells you about that but if you're sitting in a chair this is awesome if you're going to be lying in bed this is going to be a problem if you're running this is going to be a problem so I would not recommend this product for running for heavy activities where you bouncing around and definitely not for lying in bed unless you're going to take it off because this cable moves around with my fat neck that's not enough okay that's not enough to go around the neck and hang down your shoulders, although it's good I used it I was sweating pretty heavily doing the garden cutting the lawn it's still moving around and going to fall off your neck although it's stuck in the ears um this doesn't work U battery life is awesome as I said but if you're looking for something to go run in with uh this not might not be the choice also when when you are getting a bit sticky this is going to stick on the one side this is going to fall on the other side on your neck so in summary don't buy this to go running you should find something with a hook on your ear uh to stop it from falling out maybe the airpods pros or something good I don't have a pair but something else maybe maybe some buds without this because this is a a hindrance when you lying in bed trying to listen to some meditation music and calm yourself down then this is going to move it's going to get caught up in the pillow you're going to move all along and it's going to pull out of your ear
