I love this colour! When first applied, it is quite a dark purple colour - the colour in the bottle is a lot darker than what you would expect based on the colour advertised on the bottle. At first it is dark with hints of pink in it. After about 3-4 washes, it fades to such a beautiful pale pink/lilac and then eventually washes out. The fading process is nice too because it doesn't look like a faded out colour, it just goes paler and more pastel. Unlike a lot of purple dyes, this has a pink base colour and not blue, so it won't turn blue or stick to the hair like blue does.This is based on being put on top of white blonde hair. My hair underneath is bleached white and this dye still washes out, so I'm happy with that - I don't have to bleach it out! I get a lot of compliments on this colour too and due to the nice shades it fades to, you can then put a pale pink on top of it if you fancy a change. Definitely one of the best crazy colour dyes.Before I tried this, I used marshmallow and candy floss and they didn't stick to my hair whatsoever. So if you're after a very pale pink, I suggest using this and letting it fade out for the perfect candy pink!

Be warned: the hair dye gets EVERYWHERE and does stain the shower/bath. I spent an hour scrubbing my shower afterwards. The colour doesn't stop running either! It washes out a bright red Kool-Aid colour, and then goes magenta pink.

When I washed it after it had been sitting on my hair for the recommended time it looked like a dark burgundy red, it faded a lot with each wash, after a while it turned bright purple. First 2 photos (in natural light) are my hair after 2 washes and you can start to see warm undertones where my virgin hair is and blue undertones where my hair was previously (and heavily) processed from bleach and dyes. Last pic is my hair after its faded about one month later and the dye is not budging from my processed ends but completely faded from roots. I wash in lukewarm to cool water 1-2 times a week so it held up alright for being a month later. I have thick, shoulder length hair and it took 1.5 bottles (but could squeeze by with just 1 bottle if needed) so the trio option is perfect for me.
Other black semi permanent dyes Ive used usually run out straight away and stain BAD but this dye was easy to wash any spills off the sink/shower and did last a few washes longer
I would recommend this dye and I will be using it again :)

I washed it with the Sulfates free crazy colour purple shampoo as told to do and it turned bright blue!!! This was NOT the colour I wanted. I thought it’s only semi permanent it’ll wash out!!! After 3 months of trying to wash it out it was still as bright as ever!! In the end I showed up at my hairdressers door almost crying. She tried everything to remove the colour, bicarbonate, fairy liquid, tomato sauce, vitamin C, white vinegar... literally everything. And it was still the strong blue. I then suggested to go brown, throw a brown on and just go back dark to hide it, she done what I asked and now after 6 months of the crazy colour my hair is still visibly blue green. It was actually the worst decision of my life

Its very good value for money and I find that the dye lasts quite a while in your hair. It will fade pretty soon but it's not so dramatic that you constantly need to touch up your hair. I'm a lazy dyer so this is the product for me. My hair always feels soft after using this, especially when it previously has been bleached. I usually have long thick hair and use 2 to 4 bottles depending on length but that is still very affordable in comparison to many others because it comes to only about £20. My hair is currently down to I'd say the middle of my chest and I use 1 and a half bottles.The only problem is the green can stain your hair and if you don't know how to fix it (using the right toners for the colour issue) you can destroy your hair trying to get it out. This stained my hair and I tried a million awful ways to get it out of my hair and destroyed it in the process. I'd have appreciated a warning with this type of colour, as I'd dyed my hair most colours under the sun, even a different type of green, without this happening.

Mine was an uneven bleach so there are a range of colours in there from bright purple and almost blue where the hair was white, to coral where it was slightly darker. The most recently bleached part of my hair wasn't as light as the rest and was more yellow so that area didn't turn purple at all, instead the dye only neutralised the yellow to make it white/silver. So make sure the hair is as light as possible and not yellow at all for the best results.

I would say it works best on hair bleached between shade 8 or 10. below that i would say it wont give you good results. It almost went away in the 6th wash ,I took away one star for it otherwise its a wonderful product. I put it for like 1 and a half hour and the more you leave the more darker shade you get. I got purple but i have no complaints since it will fade to the expected color, its good for me because i eould love to have a change of haircolor every now and then. You can always mix conditioner with it to lighten the shade of anycolor. I would really love to try other colours since this was a bit light.

The colour has come out patchy but that's not down to the dye, to be honest the colour is nice whether it's at full brightness or where it looks more pastel in places. We also mixed Pinkissimo and Violette together and that created a really lovely purple colour. However, we could not achieve a hairdresser type colour pay off using it at home unfortunately.

Its very good value for money and I find that the dye lasts quite a while in your hair. It will fade pretty soon but it's not so dramatic that you constantly need to touch up your hair. I'm a lazy dyer so this is the product for me. My hair always feels soft after using this, especially when it previously has been bleached. I usually have long thick hair and use 2 to 4 bottles depending on length but that is still very affordable in comparison to many others because it comes to only about £20. My hair is currently down to I'd say the middle of my chest and I use 1 and a half bottles.

I love this colour! When first applied, it is quite a dark purple colour - the colour in the bottle is a lot darker than what you would expect based on the colour advertised on the bottle. At first it is dark with hints of pink in it. After about 3-4 washes, it fades to such a beautiful pale pink/lilac and then eventually washes out. The fading process is nice too because it doesn't look like a faded out colour, it just goes paler and more pastel. Unlike a lot of purple dyes, this has a pink base colour and not blue, so it won't turn blue or stick to the hair like blue does.This is based on being put on top of white blonde hair. My hair underneath is bleached white and this dye still washes out, so I'm happy with that - I don't have to bleach it out! I get a lot of compliments on this colour too and due to the nice shades it fades to, you can then put a pale pink on top of it if you fancy a change. Definitely one of the best crazy colour dyes.Before I tried this, I used marshmallow and candy floss and they didn't stick to my hair whatsoever. So if you're after a very pale pink, I suggest using this and letting it fade out for the perfect candy pink!

First 2 photos (in natural light) are my hair after 2 washes and you can start to see warm undertones where my virgin hair is and blue undertones where my hair was previously (and heavily) processed from bleach and dyes. Last pic is my hair after its faded about one month later and the dye is not budging from my processed ends but completely faded from roots. I wash in lukewarm to cool water 1-2 times a week so it held up alright for being a month later. I have thick, shoulder length hair and it took 1.5 bottles (but could squeeze by with just 1 bottle if needed) so the trio option is perfect for me.
Other black semi permanent dyes Ive used usually run out straight away and stain BAD but this dye was easy to wash any spills off the sink/shower and did last a few washes longer
I would recommend this dye and I will be using it again :)

I would say it works best on hair bleached between shade 8 or 10. below that i would say it wont give you good results. I applied the color evenly on the tips of my hair and washed it i did not apply any conditioner after wards (i was a bit scared that the color might go away if i washed it too much. the color does washes away pretty quickly ik its semi permenant but it should last a bit more long. It almost went away in the 6th wash ,I took away one star for it otherwise its a wonderful product. I put it for like 1 and a half hour and the more you leave the more darker shade you get. I got purple but i have no complaints since it will fade to the expected color, its good for me because i eould love to have a change of haircolor every now and then. You can always mix conditioner with it to lighten the shade of anycolor. I would really love to try other colours since this was a bit light.

When I washed it after it had been sitting on my hair for the recommended time it looked like a dark burgundy red, it faded a lot with each wash, after a while it turned bright purple. I actually quite like the colour even though it was not what I was intentionally going for. I do want to warn you: it stains very bad! It looked like a murder scene in my shower, my body turned literally purple...It did go a away after using regular shower gel but just keep in mind that it can get pretty messy!

detailedReviews 182: content: The dye consistency is a little on the drippy side so just be extra careful - it doesnt smell bad, its easy to spread and overall pretty good.
First 2 photos (in natural light) are my hair after 2 washes and you can start to see warm undertones where my virgin hair is and blue undertones where my hair was previously (and heavily) processed from bleach and dyes. Last pic is my hair after its faded about one month later and the dye is not budging from my processed ends but completely faded from roots. I wash in lukewarm to cool water 1-2 times a week so it held up alright for being a month later. I have thick, shoulder length hair and it took 1.5 bottles (but could squeeze by with just 1 bottle if needed) so the trio option is perfect for me.
Other black semi permanent dyes Ive used usually run out straight away and stain BAD but this dye was easy to wash any spills off the sink/shower and did last a few washes longer
I would recommend this dye and I will be using it again :)

It’s easy to apply, Doesn’t stink and Leaves my hair feeling super soft and shiny.
Also, the customer service from the company is amazing - I had an issue with delivery (the delivery companies fault) but they just resent my items with no quibble or fuss.
My only negative is that the colour is sooo subtle, I have to leave it on as long as possible to make it noticeable. I tend to blend this in to Candyfloss to create an ombré pink.
I will definitely be rebuying this product

I also had about an inch of dark roots with scattered grey to cover as well so the dye had a lot of work to do. I left the dye on for about an hour and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I mixed this dye with Ruby Rouge and the roots came out a pinky-purple colour while the ends are a, lovely dark red. The clean up was kind of a nightmare as it stains instantly and is hard to remove which is a draw back, but I do love the result so I would definitely use it again.

My hair came out the colour I was aiming for (I've previously had bad luck with blues coming out more green than I wanted), the results were visible even before drying my hair, and I've always found the brand to be pretty easy to use at home compared to other dyes. The Burgundy worked really well to cover up the previous colour (a blue that had faded pretty fast and that I wasn't loving any more) and looks really nice in lots of different lightings!

I would say it works best on hair bleached between shade 8 or 10. below that i would say it wont give you good results. To use it i firstly shampoo (no conditioner or anyother product) my hair and then let it air dry becuse bleached hair without conditioner can be damaged more with heat, you must comb/brush your hair before apply because sometime untangled hair can cause uneven coloring. I applied the color evenly on the tips of my hair and washed it i did not apply any conditioner after wards (i was a bit scared that the color might go away if i washed it too much. the color does washes away pretty quickly ik its semi permenant but it should last a bit more long. It almost went away in the 6th wash ,I took away one star for it otherwise its a wonderful product. I put it for like 1 and a half hour and the more you leave the more darker shade you get. I got purple but i have no complaints since it will fade to the expected color, its good for me because i eould love to have a change of haircolor every now and then. You can always mix conditioner with it to lighten the shade of anycolor. I would really love to try other colours since this was a bit light.

This stained my hair and I tried a million awful ways to get it out of my hair and destroyed it in the process. I'd have appreciated a warning with this type of colour, as I'd dyed my hair most colours under the sun, even a different type of green, without this happening.

After using it my hair looked very shiny so it’s definitely moisturizing for the hair. However the colour is not the same as it looks on the package and the swatch. I added a bit of black to mine to make it darker but that didn’t do much. When I washed it after it had been sitting on my hair for the recommended time it looked like a dark burgundy red, it faded a lot with each wash, after a while it turned bright purple. I actually quite like the colour even though it was not what I was intentionally going for. I do want to warn you: it stains very bad! It looked like a murder scene in my shower, my body turned literally purple...It did go a away after using regular shower gel but just keep in mind that it can get pretty messy!

It's my first time testing a semi-permanent hair color, but for me, it lasts like a week or less looking red (or magenta), then, if you wash it more than 3 or 4 times it has turned into a light pink already. The durability is ok if you like to change your hair color pretty often, because it won't last that long. The problem I had was the color because it said it was red "fire" but it wasn't, it looked more like a magenta as I said, so keep that in mind! Above that I think it's a good product and it's very affordable, I'm even thinking on buying other colors! PS: It actually looks red just in photos!

No irritation whatsoever and I usually would have a slight reaction to hair dyes. If I was to use a hair colour from drugstore brands I have to use 2 bottles as my hair is thick but with this I only need one bottle. The colour turns out exactly what it shows on the bottle. I use their shampoo which keeps the colour vibrant.... this review is also about their shampoo that they have but there was no option for it so I’ll put it on here. They do shampoos for the colours they sell, I use the one for blue, it’s fantastic as it keeps my colour vibrant for longer which means I’m not having to constantly dye my hair. If you dye your hair bright colours I recommend these shampoos because they really do work

After two months with regular washing, it has faded only slightly to a lighter teal-ish blue. The bottle was a bit smaller than I anticipated but that was no problem, as I was mixing it anyway - and in the end 1 bottle of Capri and half a bottle of Sapphire were more than enough, and I have long hair! I like that it has no strong smell, and it was very easy to work with.

Didn't cause any allergic reactions. However it stains very easily and took forever to wash out. On my first washing, I had to shampoo and rinse almost 20 times to get enough dye out. After that, I still had to be careful when my hair was wet as it would stain towels, pillows, shirts etc. TL;DR - amazing colour, a lot of hassle.

I applied it over my blonde balayage, the medium brown hair at the top goes a nice burgundy colour and the blonde at the bottom goes a really vibrant red. The colour stays bright for around a month but fades into a nice lighter shade of the original colour, like a pinky peach so I normally go 2 months between dying. That's with washing my hair 3 times a week, colour lasts longer if you wash with cold water too.

Cons:
- it takes FOREVER to come out. I washed my hair so much and it just would not come out.
- I bleached my hair and it still had tints of orange in it.
Overall I would say it's a good dye. After reading more reviews, I found that certain colors fade out faster than others so I would recommend crazy color, but maybe not the orange shade.
