I love this colour! When first applied, it is quite a dark purple colour - the colour in the bottle is a lot darker than what you would expect based on the colour advertised on the bottle. At first it is dark with hints of pink in it. After about 3-4 washes, it fades to such a beautiful pale pink/lilac and then eventually washes out. The fading process is nice too because it doesn't look like a faded out colour, it just goes paler and more pastel. Unlike a lot of purple dyes, this has a pink base colour and not blue, so it won't turn blue or stick to the hair like blue does.This is based on being put on top of white blonde hair. My hair underneath is bleached white and this dye still washes out, so I'm happy with that - I don't have to bleach it out! I get a lot of compliments on this colour too and due to the nice shades it fades to, you can then put a pale pink on top of it if you fancy a change. Definitely one of the best crazy colour dyes.Before I tried this, I used marshmallow and candy floss and they didn't stick to my hair whatsoever. So if you're after a very pale pink, I suggest using this and letting it fade out for the perfect candy pink!

detailedReviews 2: content: Nice colour, definitely a red wine sort of colour with more of a purple tone to the hair than red. It's multi-tonal though, as my hair looks dark brown indoors but RED outside and then in some lighting it looks purpley red! My hair was originally mousey brown.
Be warned: the hair dye gets EVERYWHERE and does stain the shower/bath. I spent an hour scrubbing my shower afterwards. The colour doesn't stop running either! It washes out a bright red Kool-Aid colour, and then goes magenta pink.

detailedReviews 3: content: Surprisingly bright on dark hair. I have naturally dark brown hair and thought this would end up black. But this dye (in other colours) has always impressed me so gave it a shot. Came out visibly blue unless in very dim light. Washes out to a dark teal (so still nice) in about a month. Very impressed with the pigmentation!

This purple however isn't exactly purple, it's blue and probably should be in the blue category.
Her hair was lightened to white blonde with Crazy colours high lift bleach kit hence why i summerise the colour is at fault for the blue tone.

detailedReviews 6: content: I love crazy colour hair dye it’s so easy to use and quick and gives a bright vibrant result. However using this violette shade and the lilac shade was an awful idea as I was hoping to go a purple colour yet my hair came out this weird shade of blue. I was MORTIFIED! If you have died your hair in the past you will know blue is the worst colour to get out of your hair as it just turns a horrible green or yellow no matter how hard you try to remove it. I do not recommend any of their purple shades as you might end up with the results I was given. Unless this is a look you want.

detailedReviews 7: content: Hello, I had a problem with the crazy colors dyes, I bought the violet color but the color that had the dye was blue with turquoise tones, the package said violet but the color inside was blue, for that reason my hair was turquoise, it was never violet, I thought that maybe my hair would take a violet color but it was never like that, I took pictures of the dye when I opened it because I suspected when I saw it that it would not leave my hair violet, I need my money back and a compensation for the situation, now I don't know how to get the blue out of my hair. Terrible experience.

detailedReviews 8: content: Completely disappointed, had been told to avoid crazy colour but thought I’d give it a try. This was put on bleached white hair and went blue and green not lilac. There was no hint of yellow or orange on the hair and if there had of been then I could understand why it went blue and green I just wish I had taken picture of how perfectly white the hair was prior as it was virgin hair before bleaching and completely even.. Luckily I did a strand test since the only colour they absolutely didn’t want was green and having been warned thought it best.
Perfect if we had wanted a mermaid look, will sit in the cupboard for when someone requests it now.

Not a singular strand changed, and it hadn't even toned the blonde.
The colour in the bottle looked like a 'purple conditioner', so was expecting at least a tone of not a full colour change.
Feel totally ripped off. Utterly rubbish!

I was looking to take the brassiness out of my already lightened hair, applied almost 2 bottles of the Silver and left for a full 60 minutes. When I washed it out, other than the odd small strands, there was minimal change in the colour of my hair.
