Having received these earbuds for testing , I had high hopes as being familiar with JBL brand you need to expect consistently high quality.
And boy was I impressed.
Setup and connection to my mobile phone was straightforward and a matter of seconds thanks to helpful manual attached.
The sound quality is outstanding- crisp vocals, distinct sound ranges and bass that packs a punch.
Noise cancelling is excellent and helps focus with ease and enjoy your music.
Voice calls are clear and easy to manage thanks to high quality multiple microphones built in. I've tested these on the go in public transport and while connecting to my laptop on work calls, no complaints whatsoever.
The real game changer is the native app which opens up a whole bunch of features and personalisation possibilities, whether it's custom tap options, noise cancelling adjustment or fully customisable EQ.
Battery life is more than enough, lasting me days of intense use. Charging the earbuds in the case is helpful- a mere 20 minutes of charge powers you for a few hours. Overall the battery life achieves very close results to one's claimed on the website.
My only slight concern is the occasional challenges with connecting multiple devices or switching between them, owing to which I found myself having to reset the earbuds a couple of times in the 3 weeks I've had them so far. Reset process itself is quick and simple though.
Overall, I'm definitely happy to have the JBL Tune Beam 2 and will continue using the earbuds for certain.

items 4: content: I have ear pieces that have hooks over my ears but those sometimes don't stay in properly when I run. These are much more lightweight and portable and once I found the right size of rubbers, they stay in my ears during my runs pretty nicely. The "beams" provide a good handle to get to the pieces to adjust their position. Since the beams are kind of small, my hair sometimes gets in the way for me to tap on them. The default gesture for the left piece is ambient aware on/off and that for the right is for play control (pause/play), not sure if that's the best setup so I changed it to play control on the left and volume on the right, you have to change that on the phone app though, and that means to successfully connect via bluetooth to your phone first. The pairing is sometimes finicky, maybe because I at one point had paired the ear pieces to 3 devices (but you can only connect up to 2). It appears that if the ear pieces have been paired with more than 2 devices, even if only 2 are connected, the pieces would have to be forgotten and re-paired on that 3rd device. You tap twice and hold on one of the pieces to go into pairing mode, and doing the same gesture on the wrong piece would turn off the ear pieces, and the only way to turn them back on is to put them back into the case and take them out again, and it's quite a nuisance if the case is not nearby.
The ear pieces get charged inside the case, and the case itself can be charged. I've had these ear pieces for about 2 weeks and have only charged the case once and it's still at 20%. When closed, the indicators light up informing of the battery level.
The JBL Headphones app is pretty essential to configure different commands or EQ. The noise cancelling is pretty good - my running footsteps could hardly be heard when it's on, and you can adjust how much outside noise you hear when in ambient aware mode. The voice commands come in different languages, pretty interesting. I've tried using these pieces for online meetings but the other side said I sounded a bit muffled, so these probably serve as better headphones than mics.

This is great because depends on the activity this could change. Also you can modifiy the type of sound (more base, pitch, etc) and for me the best part, YOU CAN FIND THEM BACK. I dont know if all the new models has this or why on earth they dont put this thing on the box, but you can press the find my earbud and then both have a pitch sound for you to find them. This is just perfect.

items 8: content: I am positively surprised by the performance of the JBL Tune Beam 2 True Wireless Earbuds. The sound is great with a powerful bass but not overwhelming. Active Noise Cancellation makes noticable difference but it is not that it erases all the noise. The ANC settings are useful, especially ambient aware when even with loud music you can still hear passing or oncoming cars etc. The battery performance exceeds my expectation, no matter how long I use the earbuds with or without ANC, I never run the battery flat - earbuds itself or case. The case is sleek yet sturdy and no scratches are visible. The JBL app is user friendly and intuitive. Aslo the microphone works in such a way that the person I talk to cannot hear noise in my background including vacuum hoover or kitchen extractor fan. It is a basic model in JBL line up with a very affordable price but fir me it performs so well that I cannot see a need to upgrade it.

Once they connect to your phone you don't have to pair them again which is great for me. They have a great range so I don't have to have my phone with me all the time. I've been washing windows recently and usually when I go out on the balcony the headphones lose their range and these don't! I was very pleasantly surprised. They fit great in the ear. I have the problem of my ears getting sore from wearing earphones for long periods of time but in this case, just adjust the rubber bands and nothing hurts. The sound quality is simply fantastic. They have great bass. On the big plus side they have great sound isolation. I often listen to podcasts and music at work and no one around me can hear anything. The battery lasts a very long time - even a full day (8 hours). Anyway, I also charge the case on average once a week.

items 10: content: The JBL Tune Beam 2 headphones rock. I primarily used these at home to drown out the wife and kids. Which with the adaptive noise canceling, works very well. If only they could get them to emite a noise that prevents them from taping you for your attention. But joking aside, setup out of the box was easy. Perhaps I have big fingers, but they are kind of a nusance pulling out of the case. But that is a minimal deal. They sound great and fit comfortably in my ears. I really enjoy how the case is a portable battery pack for these. I have only charged them once since opening them. I don't find myself taping them for operation or using them for phone calls. So no real feedback on that.

Comfort wise, they fit well and don't feel heavy considering their size, a little bigger than what I would usually be used to but cannot tell. Battery lasts for hours which is ideal as I use headphones throughout the day connected to my laptop and my phone simultaneously.
The carry case is a decent size but holds a good amount of battery and charge for on the go.
Noise cancelling and through pass work very well, probably better than my other headphones I use which I did not expect.
Excellent price for the sound quality you receive. Definitely recommend

After days using it, I'd say this is worth the purchase for its features and build quality. There's a significant difference in build quality between this and my old sub 1k earbuds. It has good ANC, fits well in my ear with the smallest eartip, no issues of falling off during workouts, and great mic quality for meetings and phone calls. I can confirm its legitimacy and it's detected in JBL Headpones app where you can further customize it. Some features I like are the EQ profiles, gestures per bud, and multi-point connection for my phone and laptop. Works well with voice assistant if you're into that. Battery life is superb for both the buds and charging case that I find myself only charging every other day lol. Do note the buds itself has a bit of weight; might be uncomfortable for others nevertheless it's tolerable for me. Really satisfied, will order again. Salamat!
