Being able to remove the box leaving the tv in place to avoid having to try and pull the tv out of the box, which always feels a little precarious, is a great idea. Setup is extremely simple - literally plug and play. Settings out of the box were also surprisingly good. I like to spend time adjusting the picture settings to achieve the ideal picture for the space the TV occupies, but for someone who doesn’t want to have to do that, using the Expert preset resulted in a pretty good picture right off the bat. Picture quality is excellent and the OLED technology results in perfect blacks and contrast that blows any LED TV out of the water. HDR content looks amazing and for me was one of the most impressive things about the TV and it really shows off the benefits of OLED technology. The LG C series has always stood out as an impressive TV for gaming and that hasn’t changed. Extremely low input lag combined with variable refresh rate, Dolby Vision gaming, FreeSync Premium Pro and more means that it stands out as one of the best options if you’re considering the TV for gaming use. Overall it’s difficult to fault this TV. I’m extremely happy with the LG C4 TV. It’s an excellent all-rounder that packs an amazing punch when it comes to picture quality and gaming support. I’d highly recommend to anyone considering one.

I've had older LG tv's in the past but this is on another level, from the design to the Web OS platform on the tv, everything is simple and easy to get you going. Unboxing process has been improved since previous gens of the OLED range with a new eco friendly packaging being added, removing was once again really easy and mounting the TV took minutes. Set up can be done on the TV itself or with a smart phone using the LG app - again took minutes to get up and running and content was on within 5 minutes. Out of the box settings are pretty accurate but always can be adjusted to suit the user, which I have done for different sources. Gaming is again fantastic and all next gen consoles working flawlessly in UHD, with Dolby Vision and buttery smooth input lag thanks to the in built game mode coming to the party! Software update was run on the tv to ensure everything was up to date from out the box, again simple to do and very user friendly. Overall, a very happy purchase from me, big thumbs up from me and my partner - we had our first movie night Friday night and was blown away - the picture in dolby vision was incredible and blows our local cinema out the window. We'll be looking forward to more movie nights and the upcoming football season starting, along with the rest of the sporting calendar. Anyone on the fence about making the switch to OLED, don't even hesitate, get involved and get ordering - you won't look back!

items 5: content: I've owned my fair share of tvs and this thing doesn't disappoint. It does alot of things right and it does them very well. Picture quality is the main focus for most people when purchasing a tv and I personally have never seen a better more clear picture. It makes any 4k content and even some 1440 and 1080 content seem as if your viewing it for the first time. The hdr and dolby vision really helps with certain content on upscaling and my personal favorite feature is the filmmaker mode. It takes a movie or TV show that's formated for it and let's you view it how the producer intended it to be viewed. It really ads that spice to any at home movie night or just daily viewing. Also they make it easy to tune your TV to your favorite picture settings with their ai picture viewer. Basically it shows you a bunch of images all similar and you pick two every time till it configures your picture settings to what you seem to prefer. Next I wanna talk about the gaming side of this. I'm an avid gamer who enjoys playing first person shooters. If you know anything about those you know you need low latency and high frames per second. This TV hits 120 frames easy and with freesync and g sync works well with console or pc. Just plug it into any 1 of the 4 hdmi 2.1 ports, pull up your game optimizer, and set your settings how you want and you will have a seamless tear free very responsive gaming monitor that plays in 4k and utilizes dolby gaming. I can't finish this off without 1 con and to be honest it's not that big of a deal to most people. With that said the audio on this TV is kind of lackluster but it's to be expected on stock TV speakers. If your not an audiophile or someone who likes a dedicated surround sound then you'll probably thoroughly enjoy the dolby atmos enabled internal speakers. If your like me then have no fear because they make the E-arc(hdmi 2) on this thing very fast and easy to use with any soundbar or receiver. Just plug it in and set it as your primary audio device and you can use it for any streaming audio or any other devices audio you have plugged into any of the 3 other hdmi ports. It does this without stutter or lag from what I've tested. There's a bunch more I could write on this TV but these are the points as to why I will keep this as my main viewing TV for years to come. Do yourself a favor and get this TV especially if you want a good picture and for anyone who walks into your house to stop and ask what kind of TV is that and compliment it

Set up is very easy by following the clear step by step actions which includes WiFi set up and agreeing to the terms and conditions. The next step is to check for and apply the latest software.
The longest part for me up is setting up and logging in to all the apps that I subscribe to. The LG app store makes it very easy to find. The home screen is very good and easy to arrange apps in the preferred order.
I disable the power saving features to maximise picture quality. It is easy to disable the ‘switch off after 4 hours’ feature but you must also ensure to switch it off under the ‘Time and timers’ section. Filmmaker mode is my preferred picture mode as it is the most accurate. I use Cinema home for the HDR modes – Dolby Vision, HDR 10 and HLG HDR. These settings are all very straight forward to use but then I do get a new LG OLED every year so I am very used to it.
The picture quality is excellent straight away but improves a little bit after a few days of use. Poor quality broadcasts are handled very well, and the processing makes the picture very acceptable. HD content looks very good indeed. 4K is absolutely stunning especially if also in HDR. The streaming platforms’ content looks very good indeed but as expected, 4k Blu Ray is just amazing.
The sound quality is very acceptable, and the AI Pro feature gives an interesting sound. I personally settled on the ‘Music’ setting. When connected to my HiFi via Blu ray player and eARC, it is obviously much better than the TV speakers.
Gaming via one of the 4k consoles is truly stunning.
The design of the TV is very nice indeed. The lower part contains the electronics, and the upper section is purely screen so is very slim indeed. The finish on the back is very nice and there is a neat dark finish to the edge trim. The bezels surrounding the screen are very slim and there are no logos visible. This means the picture covers almost the entire size of the TV.
It is worth registering the TV on the LG website as they have a free 5 year warranty promotion on at the moment.
I strongly recommend the C4 OLED and the 65 inch size is easy to accommodate even in fairly small rooms.

The colors are visually stunning, things like explosions and other bright assets stand out so well due to the bright boosting and EVO technology. I found myself watching more HDR and Dolby Vision content just to appreciate the visual quality. Its not just that though. I am a avid gamer and love that I can not only take full advantage of my PS5 and Xbox Series S consoles with the TV being capable at running home consoles at 120FPS, but this generation the C series can now push PC gaming to the next level by running at 144hz when connected. With that and the less than 0.1ms response times, this TV can compete with the best gaming monitors! Absolutley a must buy if you are looking into investing into your home entertainment set up. I Would just make sure to couple it with a great soundbar or sound system and be aware that the settings screen take very long to load compared to my previous C1. That being said, that issue can probably be fixed with a software update.

was very impressed with the speed of the TV, the upgraded CPU has clearly done the job , loading apps like Netflix was very quick and now with the support of Dolby vision and Atmos the picture and sound was incredible.
by far this is the best screen so far its extremely clear and the sound is amazing. i have recommended this to few friends after they have seen the screen and no doubt this is on there shopping list.

Its picture is bright, crisp and clear. The sound is average, but this is forgiven with the picture performance. The TV itself it thin and sits nicely against the wall. Its appearance is very elegant. We have placed this near a window in our house and the anti reflection is good. It also doesn’t seem to matter where you watch from in the room as the picture remains the same at all angles. There are 4 HDMI ports which is always handy. Since, I have been in the market for a new TV, I went to check some out at BestBuy and I was able to compare it side by side to other brands and nothing comes close to how good the image looks. The colors are so vibrant, my favorite part is the brightness and how rich the colors are. Another one of my favorite thing about this TV is that when it's idle you can set it as a picture frame and the TV it's so thin that you can hang it and add a frame around it to make it look like a real painting. I love this because it makes my living room look so much better rather than always having a black rectangle in my living room. I would say you need two people when opening it and setting it up, because it's pretty large and a bit heavy. Since owning the B series and now the C series I'm always recommending LG OLED TVs to my family and friends.

This new C4 range has exquisite picture quality and i am currently using it without a soundbar and i have been pleasantly surprised by the sound quality.
TV is sitting on its stand on a TV Media unit, unit is sturdy and looks simple but elegant. May look to wall mount in the future and looks easy enough.
When you go to an OLED you quite quickly notice the quality of the picture, in particular the contrast from the deep blacks to the vibrant colours. This is even more evident with this latest generation of OLED's from LG.

This tv delivers in every aspect. Setup was straightforward, the updates downloaded quickly and once we gave it a "test drive" with some high quality action scenes we knew we'd made the perfect choice. The picture quality is simply incredible, the colours so vivid, motion superb, and we were blown away.
I can't really comment on the inbuilt speakers, as we used an LG soundbar instead (also superb!) , which I think a TV of this calibre warrants to make the complete package.
This is a very solid investment for any home, and I know will keep us very happy for years to come for our movie nights together, or when we have friends around for the football too.

Hours of research and many trips to several big electronics stores, I was just about to purchase the 55" C3 when I bumped into an offer on the LG store for 55" C4. I took the plunge and bought the TV and my jaw is still on the floor. The colour accuracy, sound, superfast 144Hz gaming and the whole TV is at a different level. It has taken my viewing into a new dimension.
The only side effect is that I don't get much sleep as I spent too much time at night watching as much TV as possible.

items 26: content: This is my first LG TV and i can say that i am extremely happy with the buy. The picture quality on this TV is insane. I expected amazing quality being an OLED and how much it costs but it truly is such fantastic quality I can't recommend this TV enough.
The only slight downside for me is moving to the LG OS. While i kind of miss the OS on my old TV i have to say the features on the LG OS are still really good and it has all the apps i used on other TV's anyway so i'm not really missing out on anything.
Even the design and weight of the LG is fantastic, looks amazing and it's so thin! Plus it's much lighter then my last TV so i'm not as worried about it hanging on my wall.
If you want an excellent TV with great visual and audio quality, well honestly, this is up there as one of the best.

items 28: content: I mainly bought this TV for gaming on my PS5 and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase! The colors and blacks are amazing. I really like the Game Bar for when playing games. The different presets like FPS, RPG, and others allow me to customize each genre of games that I enjoy playing. And the 120Hz in WarZone is a game-changer! WarZone runs so smoothly in 120Hz with VRR, all of the little micro-stutters are gone for the most part.
So far I have only watched one movie, Avatar: The Way Of Water, and it also looked amazing! I felt like I could reach right into the TV and touch the actors.
I highly recommend if you are a console gamer!

items 29: content: We have had the TV for several weeks now and are very happy with it. The sound quality is wonderful, we have it on the stand it came with and we added the sound bar. The picture is incredible. There is no distortion viewing from the side, crystal clear. The unit is light weight so it was not difficult to get set up. There are several U tube videos on unboxing and setting up the unit that are very helpful.

items 30: content: LG shows us again why everyone uses their OLED panels, clarity, deep blacks, bright enough for daytime use and not as reflective as the OLEDs in the past. Colours are punchy and rich right out of the box without any adjustments and the LG Ui and operating system is a lot better than my previous Lg tv from years ago. Make sure you try out 4K content to get its full benefit. I use a soundbar so can’t comment on the sound but tested it and it was ok. No complaints about this really and definitely a pick for this year if you are looking to upgrade!
Love this TV so much and a great addition to any living room or theatre room. Only issue for me is I wished I went with a larger 77” option instead!

items 31: content: Beautiful Bezzel, this TV is amazing. It was easy to set up and connect to the internet, and the menu is easy to use and understand. The picture quality is incredible. I watched Deadpool, and the graphics were top-notch! The remote is nice and easy to navigate; however, my only complaint is the cursor option, which makes my brain want to use it rather than the remote. It's kind of annoying. :D
I was afraid that OLEDs are only good for dark rooms, but this TV has nice color ratios and vivid brightness that can compete with any TV.
