I also only bought the lip tint about a month ago and the letters on the packaging are already fading away which doesn’t look so cute with the overall phone case look. I would say that the formula could be a little bit more moisturizing but it’s not too bad as it is. Overall, if Rhode improves on these aspects I would definitely purchase more!

The gloss has no scent, the texture is unpleasant—feeling more like glue—and it did not meet our expectations of quality. My girlfriend, who is a big fan of the brand and Hailey Bieber, was deeply disappointed and won’t even use the product.
For context, I purchased the gloss while visiting Boston for a competition, but we are based in Brazil. In comparison, a Dior gloss I bought a few months ago was significantly superior in both delivery and product quality.
This was disappointing, as we had high expectations given your brand’s reputation. I hope this feedback can contribute to improving future products.

It's not sticky, slippery or too wet it's just smooth like silk. The treatments lasts hours and even after it's finally worn off it leaves your lips feeling pillowy soft. - The color is not a warm flushed red berry color, it’s cold toned and purple.
- This is a tint product so it’s meant to be wiped off, when you apply it like lip gloss it’s way too dark and embarrassing, so only a tiny amount adds lots of color.
- the color is dark and the product is grainy when not warmed up, I applied it around my friends and it was so embarrassing that there was graining purple dots all over my lips, my friend came up to me and wiped it off and now I never wanna use it unless I’m looking in the mirror or else it will look so bad.
- I didn’t wanna return it to loose money on shipping so I just kept it as a layering product to darken my lips a tiny bit along with a clear gloss.
I wish I got myself a lip peptide treatment instead but oh well had to learn from experience .

This is a higher end lip product so having to consistently re-apply it makes the product seem less worth the price it is to buy it. I would say some things I did like was the fact that it was non-sticky. If the wind blew my hair was very rarely get stuck with this lip tint. Last thing to add, the color is perfect its not too much or too little and give a hint of natural and the packaging of the product itself is one of my favorites ever. I just wished it would last longer, and for that reason I won't buy it again, I just don't have the funds.

The pink shade is extremely light and to see any pink tint you have to put a lot on your lips. I still use it because I prefer a clear gloss and that's what this is to me basically. I’ve been using it for the past few days consistently and like other reviews online, i think the texture is gritty and really not worth $16 in my opinion ($20ish if including shipping since these aren’t available anywhere in store). I heard it’s supposed to be because the melting point is above room temperature, and to just warm it up. If it’s that much of a hassle to make sure the product works as expected then I’d rather just use other products that don’t require me to warm it up first in order to get a smooth texture. Also for me, the color isn’t that buildable. Maybe my lips are too pigmented but it’s essentially a clear gloss for me. I don’t think it makes my lips significantly smoother/more hydrated but it doesn’t dry them out, which some products do. I think vaseline, aquaphor, or other drugstore brands are similar or better for a fraction of the price.

I purchased 3 products - the peptide tip tint in espresso and raspberry jelly, and the peptide lip treatment in strawberry glaze. I've been swapping out and trying each one on different days, and after about a week of using these products, my lips were completely burned and chapped to the point where spots were bleeding when I smiled or moved my lips too fast. It's really disappointing because I love the concept of "treating" my lips while giving them a bit of a tint, however, my lips are so irritated from using Rhode. I'm not sure if it was the peptide lip tint or peptide lip treatment that irritated my lips, but it's my understanding that they're the same product only one has a tint. I have never had sensitive skin, so it caught me a bit off guard that I had this reaction.
If you're interested in trying this product, I highly recommend purchasing one and doing a "skin" test for a few days before buying products in bulk.

* I wear this over lip liner (I use the Revlon Colorstay one) and I have noticed it breaks down the liner. Not sure if that's typical for this gloss or the liner though.
* TLDR; can I achieve the same results with Vaseline? Yes. But is this a cute little tinted gloss that's actually moisturizing and a fun little trend to hop on if you don't mind a little frivolous spending now and then? Yep!

I should be able to use my lip tint for a while not for a month and a half.
Overall it’s worth spending your money on if you want to give your lips a beautiful vibrant lift. Just note that there could be flaws. But it could have just been mine :)

My main issue with this lip tint is the packaging/design. It has a narrow tube which causes the product to overflow out of the opening every single time I open it. I’ve had this lip tint for a week now and I can confidently say that I’ve lost about 50% of the product because it gushes out every single time I twist open the cap. I got so frustrated by the 5th time this happened that I just cup the whole thing open and placed the product into a small travel sized bottle. I won’t be buying it again.

It took much longer to arrive and so I had already left for vacation and couldn’t bring the gloss to my daughters. It takes longer than was suggested on the website. When I got home a couple weeks later I opened it. Was fine at first then had a terrible smell and granular crystals. I have asked to return it but the policy says after 30 days from arrival no returns. It’s defective! I don’t want granular sweaty sock smelling lipgloss on my lips. It’s not cause I don’t like the colour etc. Better customer service would be to replace it especially since I bought 3! Maybe it was a bad batch.

I was also a little iffy about the scent and the $2 increase in price but I decided to order it anyway. I actually ended up loving the scent so much and as always they make my lips feel amazing and super soft. I love the sparkles it has and the way it doesn’t look too yellow on the lips. I think the formula was changed so they don’t become grainy but there’s no way to tell yet, so I guess I just have to wait and see.

The advertising and swatches looked incredible, but when I tried this it was gritty and the grittiness wouldn’t go away despite 20+ applications. The product also wouldn’t stay on for more than 15-30 minutes and it dehydrated my lips. It also stung my lips for days after quitting before discarding it. Despite all of this, the color toast was actually perfect and I hope they create a better formula (with the same color and glossy/balmy shine). I told customer service about the issues I was having and it took them a minute to tell me that I would have to send the product back for a replacement/refund, but I had already recycled it because it was so bad. Keep this in mind if you’re having issues & want a replacement.

Thankfully applying Vaseline helped a lot with fixing this. I tried reaching out to the support team about this a few days ago and still no reply.
