Rhode’s lip peptide treatments have always looked appealing, but reviews about the formula being grainy had me looking the other way. Well this spring and summer I’ve been obsessed with all things lemon, so when rhode came out with the Lemontini flavored lip peptide treatment AND announced they changed their formula to get rid of the grainy feeling I knew I had to try! I took a risk and ordered two boxes and man I’m so glad I did. I LOVE THIS flavor and formula! Not to mention the beautiful shimmer as an added bonus. It’s what I have been looking for! I ordered two more boxes!! I’m so sad this is a limited addition flavor and hope at the very least they bring it back next summer!

but after my response to this email I have not received any further news from them nor any replacement products...

I would say that the lip tint has a very sheer pink look when you apply it but the formula makes your lips look really plump and pretty. If you’re looking for an everyday shade and nothing super crazy ribbon is a great choice. However, it definitely needs to have a scent because it really smells like nothing and I find that to be a drawback. I also only bought the lip tint about a month ago and the letters on the packaging are already fading away which doesn’t look so cute with the overall phone case look. I would say that the formula could be a little bit more moisturizing but it’s not too bad as it is. Overall, if Rhode improves on these aspects I would definitely purchase more!

I would like to share my experience with the lip gloss I recently purchased, and unfortunately, it was not a positive one.
The gloss has no scent, the texture is unpleasant—feeling more like glue—and it did not meet our expectations of quality. My girlfriend, who is a big fan of the brand and Hailey Bieber, was deeply disappointed and won’t even use the product.
For context, I purchased the gloss while visiting Boston for a competition, but we are based in Brazil. In comparison, a Dior gloss I bought a few months ago was significantly superior in both delivery and product quality.
This was disappointing, as we had high expectations given your brand’s reputation. I hope this feedback can contribute to improving future products.

detailedReviews 8: content: I really didn't know what all the hype was about around this lip treatment until now. I needed some new skincare and that was my primary reason for purchasing from Rhode. While I was at it I thought why not try those holy grail product. I can say I am never going back now. This product makes your lips feel like butter! It's not sticky, slippery or too wet it's just smooth like silk. The treatments lasts hours and even after it's finally worn off it leaves your lips feeling pillowy soft. I am concerned about the rumors that it gets grainy after awhile but so far mine is great and I'm using it so fast I don't think it will be an issue. I will definitely be buying more as it's now my go-to lip product.

I will say, the packaging is super cute, but I would be nice to have a bigger applicator or something different that keeps the product from smearing all over the top, causing it to get messy. Felt no plumping effects but it looked glossy and pretty. I will be sticking to S.F. Lip products due to better applicator, yummy flavors, better nourishment and more product for the price.

The smell reminds me of a lemon cookie/cake but it's not overly strong/sweet smelling. Ugh. I hope this is turned into a permanent lippie because I will buy it for the rest of my life if they let me. I also love the rhode applicator overall. I have a few other ones in my collection from different brands but often the applicator is too big and I end up using my finger for the corners of my lips. But this one is the perfect size.
