No matter what I do, it still stinks. I've left it sitting out in the open in my garage for months and it still smells awful. I guess CASIO was selling these factory mistakes super cheap??
I feel like I got ripped off. Not only that, CASIO then sent some kind of promotional email to me with rainbows talking about 'accepting the CASIO worldview', I mean, WT absolute F are they ranting about?
CASIO - if you are reading this - STOP the VIRTUE SIGNALING. The horrible experience I had with this watch pushed me away from you, and the craven, decadent attitude pushed me away completely (after buying several of your watches over the last year - not the cheap ones!) Why would we 'embrace the worldview' of a corporation anyway??
I'm a watch collector and I love to give them as gifts - I'll never buy CASIO again at this point.

G-shocks are however deceptive in their stock photos. The reverse display is hard to read in less than perfect lighting. I’m very disappointed by this and am selling this watch at a loss on an EDC Facebook Raffle group. I hope the new owner likes it more than me. I have however bought a replacement G-Shock, so there is that. I do recommend Watch Direct, shipped very quickly and arrived safely.

The strap's 'wings' seat the watch positively on my slim wrist. The negative display is brilliant in gold - very eye-catching and readable in most light without having to push the backlight button. I've been a Casio fan for many years, but this is the first G-Shock I've owned, and I can't stop wearing it, I just love how chunky it is. Thanks also to Andrew at Watch Direct for assistance confirming 'how black is Casio black' during the purchase. Really. A great price too.

detailedReviews 4: content: All i can say is i got a watch. This was a special edition collector watch in a special edition can and bag, neither of which i received. I also did not receive the manual or warranty card. I thought this may be a one off. Everyone makes mistakes. I ordered another one and got a manual but it was for the wrong watch. I contacted customer service and was sent another one. Received only the watch in the wrong can and no manual or warranty card. Also two of the watches were noticeably presused. I am extremely disappointed. I expected more from Macy's. I know the cans and paperwork may be of value when the counterfeits start coming out, but i expected a new watsh in correct packaging. I only rated you a two because i did get a watch.

detailedReviews 5: content: The GD-350-8 (grey) is great looking watch. A timeless older model from Casio. Unique two toned digital screen is what sets it apart from the other GD-350 line up. It also features a very bright LED illumination, quick set timer button and a vibration alert alarm that are not commonly found in many other Casio or Casio G-Shock models. These 4 characteristics is why I love this watch so much.

I have a couple of analog and digital G-Shocks - 7 in all, but find myself wearing this one quite a lot becasue it looks good with just about everything and the numbers are easy to read. The backlight is best of all my G-Shocks, comparable to my GSTB. The only thing I don't like is that the flaps under the strap pinch the hairs on my wrist off every once in while and elicits a little yelp out of me cause it's so unexpected. Thats the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, but that is a personal problem as not all folks will have that issue. I got the watch during the 50% off sale so it is an incredible value for a beautiful piece.

This absolutely slays the King Casio in legibility and comfort. Granted it doesn’t have solar but what’s the point of solar if you can’t see the display 95% of the time. This is the closest to a MIP display you’ll get in a negative display watch. Fantastic service from FCW as always which is why I’m a returning customer.

detailedReviews 8: content: I LOVE the GD350GB-1, this baby can be slammed harshly against any surface, dunked into water, get sweat upon, get dropped, get smacked, get punched, get whacked, and at the end of all it will need is a little water to wash it off and it’ll be as good as new! Seriously this watch can survive in harsh cold conditions AND extremely hot conditions, most of all it’s comfortable and good looking with most outfits I wear, it may not be the most attractive and stylish but it gets the job done and does what a REAL watch is supposed to do, it tells the date time, gives you alarm, a stop watch, a timer, the time for different regions and is decently easy to set up for your own time in your time zone! Seriously this is the golden standard (no pun intended) of what a watch SHOULD BE, strong, resistant to conditions, good looking, and comes with a good handful of functions that SHOULD necessary in most watches for today for the common person who are working or maybe just want a good watch to have that will hold up against the challenges of time, this watch has been with me for 5 months, and it has been the best 5 months of having a watch I’ve ever experienced, I look forward to hopefully buying more watches from you guys as the quality is SUPERB for the price, such a great steal for anyone who snagged this beauty, these watches are made with care and LOVE, with my personal experience, when I go out running I use the timer and stop watch to track my time as it comes in handy, this watch is great for any person in the work force or anybody who just wants a great watch, look forward to buying some more watches from you guys! Really love the vibration and easy-assess stopwatch so I can take breaks between studies w/o having to press more than a button. They look great, have a classic look.. and last but certainly not least. RUGGED. Cons: ever ever ever so slightly less comfy than my Sw@tch.. but I wear this much more these days. Friend got the gold, I nabbed the black on black display bc it just looks amazing... but I have to say I may pick up another gold as shown here for myself. That's all. ;)

detailedReviews 10: content: Very pleased that Walmart was able to price match this watch at the lower price found. It’s a great watch with only one minor complaint. The setting that initiates the illumination when you turn your wrist to look at the watch only operates for six hours or so at a time. It is not a permanent setting. After the six hours, it reverses to only illuminating when the button is pushed. It has to be reset approximately every six hours or so. Again, it’s minor but can be irritating.
